If Israel Stops Its "Zionist Aggression", Gazans Are Ready For Ceasefire

Are the Palestinians finally tired of fighting? It seems the Gazans, including terrorist groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad, have said they are willing to lay down their arms if Israel "stops its aggression."

“The Islamic and nationalist movement confirm that the response of the resistance depends on whether the Zionist aggression against our people is continued,” they said in a statement released at a news conference in Gaza City.
Funny, since Israeli aggression has usually been in response to the myriad of rockets Gazans regularly fire into Israeli territory.

If they truly want a ceasefire, maybe they should first stop their aggression against Israel, and while they're at it, how about changing that Hamas Charter that talks about the destruction of Israel.

Egypt apparently has been involved in trying to stop the fighting between Israel and Gaza, but Hamas and Islamic Jihad have said they would honor a ceasefire “provided Israel commits to doing the same.”

I would trust the Israelis to do their part, but in no way would I trust the Palestinians to keep their word.
