"France will not abandon the women who are condemned to the burqa; France will not abandon the women who do not have liberty. France will be by the side of the oppressed of the world. This is the message of France; this is the identity of France; this is the history of France....My dear compatriots, together we will write a new page of our history. This page of our history, my dear compatriots, I am sure that it will be grand, that it will be beautiful. And from the bottom of the heart, I want to say to you, with the most total sincerity which is mine at the time when I speak to you: Long live the Republic and long live France."
Hopefully a new dawn has arrived. God bless Sarkozy, France and the French people.
They need all the good things that can happen to the. I wish them well but will watch for a while. MUD
ReplyDeleteit will be a tough task ridding france of the socialist mentality, good luck to him.
ReplyDeleteToo bad France is now a socialist bureaucracy. And if you are wondering, I do list that as one of the government types in the world. A government where you have so much red tape that it is impossible to accomplish any good, no matter how well spoken.
ReplyDeleteI know, guys. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteMaybe when France is done with Sarkozy, we can have him over here.
ReplyDeleteI wish him and France the best. (That is the first time I've even thought of saying THAT!)
Yeah, I know what you mean, T, he seems like he has a lot of potential.
