Public Schools Should Be Fashioned After Madrassas, Says Andre' Carson, D-Ind

Democratic Congressman from Indiana, Andre' Carson, who also happens to be a Muslim and whose wife is principal of a public school, talks about the need for America to fashion its public education system on Islamic schools and madrassas where the "foundation is the Quran". He calls madrassas an "educational model that is current and meets the needs of our students."

Current? Meets the needs of our students? Maybe the male students, since traditionally madrassas are for boys only.

Imagine if Carson was a Christian and he proposed that all schools in America should be Christian-based. He'd be crucified.

Let's see if this gets any traction at all. I doubt it.
