Video: The U.S. Wants Islamic Economy- Says Egyptian Cleric Mahmoud Shabaan

In a TV interview, Egyptian Cleric Mahmoud Shaaban claims that the Wall Street protests in 2011 were actually demanding an Islamic economy. He swears that Christians and Jews were raising banners with demands of:  "We want the Islamic economy"  and tells the host to check the Internet.

Well, I googled and came up with nothing.

He also states that:

"Europe would not have made progress if not for Islam. Anything good that emerged from Europe can be traced back to Islam." The good aspects of European democracy were also taken from Islam."

So much for all those banners at Muslim protests with "Democracy go to hell."
