Here's some good news out of Syria: the various al-Qaeda affiliated jihadist groups are turning on each other. Fighting has escalated in Deir Ezzor province in the East between Al-Nusra Front and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) resulting in the death of around 230 fighters.
100,000 or so civilians have had to flee because of the fighting, but hopefully the militants will off each other and leave the civilians in peace.
The rest here.
