Why Chris Kyle's Iraqi Translator Supports Muslim Ban

While the liberals are out there comparing the 90 day Muslim ban to the Jews seeking refuge during the rise of  the Nazis, there are anti-extremist Muslims who believe it is necessary for the security of our country.

Johnny Walker was sniper Chris Kyle's interpreter while he was stationed in Iraq during the war.

This is what he told Independent Journal Review:

"I agree 100% with President Trump's decision. The national security of the United States is a paramount issue.

All President Trump is doing is ensuring that people can go about their day without living in so much fear. Women won't have to worry about walking around the mall; kids won't have to worry about going to the school.

Look, these countries don't have a database that keeps track of its citizens. And we can't depend on a government database in countries that do, because if they have one it has a political agenda behind it.

It wouldn't be hard for someone to get into the U.S. whose loyalty lies with ISIS or a militia aligned with Iran. While the militia isn't necessarily our enemy right now, they don't have loyalty to the U.S., they are loyal to the interests of the government that funds them. And that government says “Death to America.”

ISIS's strongholds are in Iraq and Syria. We all know what they want to do to Americans."
He also discussed how there are elements within the Iraqi government who have ties with terrorism.

Like Johnny Walker, whose brother was murdered for helping this country, I do have some reservations. Our government should not be banning those who aided us during the war, including all the translators, since they are being targeted by ISIS for their work with the U.S. government.

American Sniper's Muslim Iraqi Interpreter Claims Kyle Was Not Racist

In response to MSNBC's Ayman Mohyeldin's claims that Chris Kyle, the man portrayed in Clint Eastwood's box office hit American Sniper, was racist and participated in "killing sprees", Kyle's Iraqi Muslim interpreter fired back with the following:

“When we had a sniper mission, he would watch the targets. Then, sometimes I would go take care of something and he was never afraid that I was returning with my M4 and grenades. And not just Kyle, all the SEALs I worked with.

Kyle said I trust Johnny Walker with my life. When I came to America, I got invited to Chris’s book signing in La Jolla.

When Chris saw me at the event he left everyone and just came up to me and hugged me. Because he hadn’t seen me since 2007 and thought I could have died and had no idea where I was. After he signed the book, he was going to speak. Ten seconds into his speech, he said I am not an American hero. Johnny Walker is the American hero and then he made me stand up.

Then, he said that I saved more SEALs’ lives than him. Pointing at me, and I am an Iraqi Muslim. So how is this racist?

Sometimes I would forget to bring an MRE to a sniper mission. Chris would share his MRE and he would talk about family. If he was racist towards Muslims why would he share intimate details of his life with a Muslim? I don’t see that in any way as racist. I think the ones calling Chris Kyle racist are racists.

If you’re going to call Chris Kyle racist, then call me a racist too. At times we were on the base, Kyle would laugh with the other Iraqi soldiers and joke with them. Again, why would a racist engage in that behavior?

The insurgents had a $50,000.00 bounty on my head. Every time Chris Kyle killed an insurgent he saved my family, and the innocent Iraqi families too. Why would a racist man protect me and innocent Iraqi families?

People should be respecting and honoring him. It hurts Taya, his brother, his dad, his children, his whole family and everyone in the SEAL community when people say such things about a man like Kyle. He treated me, an Iraqi Muslim, like a brother. So everyone needs to give him the respect that he fully deserves, and finally let the man rest in peace.”

Well, there ya go, Ayman! He was there doing his job not hating on Iraqis.

Of course, he's not the only one critical of a movie that shattered box office records. Most reviews have been very positive, but people like Michael Moore and Seth Rogen piped in with their not-so positive say about snipers, and the perceived pro-war sentiment of the film.

Veterans Slam Obama For Politicizing Bin Laden Kill

More backlash from Obama's "One Chance" campaign ad video where he insinuates Mitt Romney would not have taken out Osama Bin Laden had he been president. Arianna Huffington called it despicable. Dan Turner of the L.A. Times says the ad is "more than little distasteful" for taking Romney's comment "It's not worth moving heaven and Earth and spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person" out of context. But veterans, and even former and active duty U.S. Navy SEALS (the ones who were responsible for dispensing with Bin Laden), have also chimed in criticizing Obama for politicizing the whole event.
A serving SEAL Team member said: ‘Obama wasn’t in the field, at risk, carrying a gun. As president, at every turn he should be thanking the guys who put their lives on the line to do this. He does so in his official speeches because he speechwriters are smart.

‘But the more he tries to take the credit for it, the more the ground operators are saying, “Come on, man!” It really didn’t matter who was president. At the end of the day, they were going to go.’

Chris Kyle, a former SEAL sniper with 160 confirmed and another 95 unconfirmed kills to his credit, said: ‘The operation itself was great and the nation felt immense pride. It was great that we did it.

‘But bin Laden was just a figurehead. The war on terror continues. Taking him out didn’t really change anything as far as the war on terror is concerned and using it as a political attack is a cheap shot.

‘In years to come there is going to be information that will come out that Obama was not the man who made the call. He can say he did and the people who really know what happened are inside the Pentagon, are in the military and the military isn’t allowed to speak out against the commander- in-chief so his secret is safe.’

As some have said, including Romney, presented with the same opportunity any president would have done exactly what Obama did, he just lucked out that it happened on his watch.

In response, Veterans For A Strong America have taken out their own powerful ad entitled "CREDIT".
