State news agency KCNA stated:
"A relevant organ of the DPRK put in custody American Miller Matthew Todd, 24, on April 10 for his rash behavior in the course of going through formalities for entry into the DPRK to tour it."
Here's another official announcement regarding Miller's arrest.
According to NK News:
"Miller Matthew Todd’s action has hit the nerve of North Korean immigration officers because the DPRK considers entry visas its property and does not tolerate disrespectful attitude to it."
Of course, the news "broke" (well after he was actually detained) while Barack Obama was down in South Korea meeting with his counterpart Park Geun-hye. Kim Jong-un is probably just jealous that Obama has refused to be his buddy. And speaking of the visit, the DPRK has condemned Obama for traveling there while the South Korean's are still mourning the tragic ferry boat drownings.
I wonder how Miller feels about the DPRK now. Keep him, please.
