UAE Designates CAIR As Terrorist Organization

The United Arab Emirates has compiled and approved a very long list of 'designated terrorist" organizations and groups.

Along with familiar groups like the myriad of Al-Qaeda affiliates, Muslim Brotherhood groups etc hailing from the Middle Eastern region, are Muslim groups based in foreign lands including:

The Council on American-Islamic Relations, better known as CAIR.

Yes, the UAE considers CAIR a terrorist organization. The same CAIR that has its hands influencing the liberal contingency of this country.

OpEd- Arab Skewers World Leaders and GCC For Incompetent Handling Of ISIS

In an opinion piece on Al Arabiya, UAE entrepreneur Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor skewers everyone from Barack Obama to Britain's David Cameron, and all the Arabs that are part of the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) for the less than impressive and inept manner with which they are dealing with the rise of ISIS, or as he calls them- psychopaths and cockroaches preferring death to life. I started reading the piece expecting to be annoyed, but he pretty much nails. it. Well worth a read.

Our planet is experiencing unprecedented man-made crises. Like me, people everywhere are asking, “What’s happening to our world?” We look at those leaders and think, if these are the people responsible for protecting our lives, then God help us.

A gang of losers seeking power, wealth and territory decide to dupe feeble-minded young Muslims with the promise of an Islamist State; a Utopian land stretching from Syria to Iraq and eventually encompassing Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia where flogging, stoning, beheading, crucifying and burying children alive are accepted norms. In this supposedly “magical caliphate” women, recognizable only by their eyes, are barred from leaving home without a close male relative. Televisions are smashed. Schools are forbidden to teach music, art and philosophy. Smokers are lashed in public. Landmarks are painted black to match the group’s fluttering flags.

Man Who Beat Son To Death Over Grades Has 1 Year Jail Sentence Rejected By UAE Court

An Emirati man beat his 12-year-old son so severely with a cane and an electrical chord the child died. Apparently, papa was unhappy with the boy's school grades. The mother found the bloody, unconscious boy and drove him to the hospital, but the child was dead on arrival.

Under sharia law this is how the judicial process went down for the accused:

Parents can't be sentenced to death under sharia, so that was ruled out. Of course, the death sentence is perfectly fine for adulterers, blasphemers, apostates and homosexuals. But beating someone to death? 15 years max. However, this dad lucked out. The 'beating' charge  was changed to premeditated murder.

Now this is where it gets interesting. There's that 'blood money' clause under sharia law, whereby relatives can receive money and a reduced sentence as retribution.

As the boy’s heirs, the father’s parents, waived their rights to a death sentence, R M was sentenced to three years in jail and a blood money settlement of Dh200,000.

His sentence was later reduced by the appeals court to one year, as the boy’s mother also waived her right to blood money.

On Wednesday, the court of cassation ruled that the heirs should not have been consulted in this case.

The law states that a father cannot be charged with premeditated murder unless he confesses, which R M did not, or if it was a straightforward murder act.

In this case, as the tools he used to kill his son were not weapons, it proved it was an attack driven by anger and not planned.

Also, the medical report showed there was not a fatal blow from the father, as the boy died from shock caused by the pain of the beating.

So that pre-meditated murder charge? Thrown out, along with the year sentence. So another hearing will be scheduled.

Jordanian Dad Tortured His Five Daughters In The UAE

Allegations of torture and abuse of 5 daughters- 10 to 16- by a Jordanian expat and his two sisters. Cigarette burns while forced to kneel naked, broken noses, beatings with ropes and sticks, pierced by needles, underfed.

Recently divorced after 18 years of marriage, the mum- who had also been abused- had moved back to Jordan and was unable to take care of the girls.  According to the mum, the dad, who is a jail warden in the UAE, hated her for not having boys, and obviously hated the girls as well.

Dad and his two wicked sisters have been arrested.

Not that this kind of thing doesn't happen in the West, it does, but many claim that domestic abuse is minimal in the Muslim population, which is clearly untrue.
