Here's a good one. Not sure where this young Imam is from, though he looks somewhat familiar, but he explains that the only time music is allowed, per Islam, is during a wedding and EID celebrations. And only young girls (not professional singers) are allowed to play the daff (hand drum). Men are not allowed because the only kind of man that plays an instrument or sings is gay.

Egyptian Salafist and founder of the Al Nour Party Yassir al-Burhami talks about the importance of Muslim men hating their non-Muslim infidel wives, although it's perfectly okay to love their looks, money etc.

Marrying women of the book (i.e. Jews or Christians) is discouraged, but if a Muslim man is compelled to marry one, he must "make her hate her religion while continuing marriage/sexual relations with her." And he must show her he hates her because of her religion. Then he justifies having a loveless marriage by comparing it to how a rapist views his victim- no love, just using her body.

Muslim Men Can Sleep With Thousands Of Women In Heaven Claims Saudi Cleric

MEMRI's latest video is of Saudi Cleric Muhammad Ali Shanqiti talking about all the women Muslim men get to bed when they go to heaven. Each man gets at least two black-eyed virgins, each with their 70 servant girls. According to Shanqiti, the servant girls are also fair game.

It does get complicated (because he brings into the equation heaven-bound Muslim women), sort of. Still can't quite figure that one out.

But no wonder jihadists have no problem martyring themselves. They get 72 virgins, plus all their servant girls to mess around with. You do the math.

Ahmadinejad Will Return With The 12th Imam Claims Iranian Spokesperson

Gholam Hossein Elham, Iranian spokesman (for what I'm not sure), has said that soon-to-be ex-President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will return with the Hidden Imam, whenever that might be.  Also known as the 12th Imam and Imam Mahdi, the Shia Muslims have been breathlessly waiting for his return to save the day since the 10th century. But Ahmadinejad predicted that the dead-resurrected Hugo Chavez would return with the Mahdi hand in hand with Jesus Christ, so I'm not quite sure how Mahmoud will return if he's not dead. But Elham is hoping he will.

"God willing, with the manifestation of Imam Mehdi, Ahmadinejad will also return and work for the establishment of pure Islam."

You might remember that Hugo, when he was still alive, was a firm believer in the return of the Mahdi and Jesus, at least according to this chat. 

So, I guess, dead or alive Mahmoud will join Chavez, the Mahdi and Jesus when they return. 

Video- Syrian UN Rep Talks About Rape of Women and Jordanian Cleric's Fatwa Encouraging It

The following video has two separate clips, the first is a speech by a Syrian envoy, Bashar al-Jaafri, at the United Nation  accusing the Islamist rebel forces in Syria of killing, raping, sexually assaulting and using these women and girls as sex slaves because of fatwas issued by Gulf state clerics. He also condemns the U.N. for standing by and doing nothing.

The second clip is of Jordanian Salafi cleric Yasir al-Ajlouni (who lived in Syria for 17 years) explaining one of those "sexual jihad" or "intercourse marriage" fatwas encouraging the Free Syrian Army rebels and Jihadist co-fighters to capture and enslave non-Sunni women in what he terms "Right Hand Property." He would like us to think that the goal of the "Right Hand Property" is to protect the honor of the woman who is forced into sexual slavery.  No matter how they sugarcoat it, it's still Islam-sanctioned rape.

He goes on to ask: "How do we deal with the woman that was made captive by the "Free Syrian Army" or by the Mujahideen?"  Islam has the answer with the "Right Hand Property" ruling that allows for sexual slavery during wars with the enemies of Islam. And the Syrian Alawites are considered just that- enemies.

How civilized. Capture and rape the women of your enemy, but their honor will remain intact because Islam says it's permitted through "Right Hand Property."

Marry Off Your Children Early - Islamic Scholar Israr Ahmed

Deceased Pakistani theologian and Islamic scholar Dr. Israr Ahmed discusses the importance of marrying off one's children early.

He doesn't mention  how early, but he does say "immediately as they become young."  Whatever that means.

The reasons:

1. If parents delay marriage and it "leads to sin, the sin would be on them."

2. To garner respect for the in laws.

 Parents should conduct the marriage and bring their daughter-in-law, as was our way in the past. That is why the daughters in law used to respect them and thought of them as her parents. When the son himself bears all the burdens of marriage, how can his wife feel obliged to respect his parents as her own. She would rather be unhappy with their presence. "They are disturbing our privacy." That family system will be disrupted completely. Marry your sons early, and bring his wife as your own daughter.

Saudi Arabia- Hiring Female Cashiers Is Akin To "Human Trafficking"

So what does being a female cashier have to do with 'sexual exploitation, forced labor and organ trafficking?' According to a graduate student at Imam Mohammad bin Saud Islamic University in Saudi Arabia it's akin to "human" trafficking.

You might wonder how a woman at say a McDonald's taking your cash for a Big Mac and fries is being exploited (other than the pittance of pay fast food workers receive), and where on earth "human trafficking" factors in, but Mohammad al-Bogami explains it this way:

"...Muslim scholars consider it human trafficking if the goal of hiring women is to use their looks to attract customers.

Human trafficking does not stop at people selling their bodies or parts of their bodies; it extends to any kind of slavery or sexual exploitation, the London-based al-Hayat newspaper reported Bogami as saying.


Saudi Arabia’s top clerics have challenged the government’s policy of expanding jobs for women, with a fatwa (religious edict) that they should not work as cashiers in supermarkets.

“It is necessary to keep away from places where men congregate. Women should look for decent work that does not make it possible for them to attract men or be attracted by men,” according to the fatwa.

Hired to attract customers? Where do these people get these notions? How on earth can someone be attracted to a woman who is totally covered in black cloth (abaya) and wearing a niqab (full face veil)?

They'll say and do anything to maintain gender segregation.

Islamic Exorcism of Christian Jinns- Video

Here's a little entertainment for your Saturday afternoon. An Islamic exorcism. Part of a 'reality show', at least so claims the Jinn 'exorcist', part Tunisian, part American Sheikh Ben Halima Abderraouf who lives in France but is currently in Tunisia doing his thing.

Jinn's are genies mentioned in the Quran, they can be Muslim, or Christian, good, evil or neutral, they have free will, live in a parallel universe, and they possess people. Naturally, the Christian ones are evil, and according to Abderraouf  must convert to Islam or be killed.

In this video, a Jinn catcher- someone who allows themselves to get possessed by the Jinn possessing another individual- is exorcised by converting to Islam. Other Christian Jinns are also summoned, as is a Shaytan (a devil) who, in this case, is Jewish, because "they are the worst."

All pretty darn bizarre, and very laughable, except when the woman screams.

He also tells girls they should always wear the veil, and that they are ultimately responsible for rape.

Saudi cleric Sheikh Muhammad Salah from 'Ask Huda' on HudaTV discusses when it's no longer cool for parents to look at their own daughters' body parts, because they can look sexy and desirable.

At age 4 they should refrain from looking at private parts and their little behinds.
At six and seven, since they start to mature and understand, and the girl will look pretty and desired. Don't look at any of her body parts!

Cannibalism 101- Al-Azhar Teaches Egyptian Kids It's Okay To Kill And Eat Apostate Flesh

Pork is Haram (forbidden) in Islam, but apparently eating human flesh (especially that of apostates) is Halal (a-ok), if grilled or barbecued, that is. Or maybe it can only be eaten raw. I'm actually not quite sure, since there seems to be a discrepancy in the manner in which the 'meat' should be consumed, at least according to the information shared by the two Egyptian men on the Al-Tahrir TV video below. Both the talk-show host and the guest were appalled at the following information taken straight from a book given to third year high school students at al-Azhar University- one of the oldest, most prestigious Islamic learning centers in the world.

"We allowed the eating of the flesh of dead humans...under necessary conditions. It (dead human flesh) must not be cooked to avoid Haram."

The guest adds, "so he's allowed to eat him without cooking or grilling!"  Then he tells the host that it also says in the book that it's okay to kill certain people for their meat:

" .. and he can kill a murtadd (apostate) and eat him...  he can kill the married adulterer, the fighter, and whoever has a punishment on him, even if the Imam did not give his permission for the killing."

The host then asks, " you mean the killing of a human being and then grilling him/her and eating him/her?"  Guest responds: "Yes, because he's hungry!!"

Either way, cooked or raw, it's unbelievable that high school kids are being taught that cannibalism is permissible in the 21st century.

What Happens When You Kick The Quran

There are a slew of very amusing 'Girl Kicked the Quran' videos on YouTube, demonstrating just how ignorant some of those people are.  They truly believe that this is what happens to bad Muslim girls (note, they're always female) who forsake Allah.  I guess the dudes get a break.

Allah  turned this one into a python.  The story goes:

A girl was listening to music loudly, her mother happened to be reading the Quran, she asked her to turn the music down so she can carry on reading the Quran. The girl got pisst off and went to kick the Quran, her mother threw herself between her foot and the Quran, she ended up kicking her mother. She then stormed up to her room, where she put her music on and locked the door.

Later that day her mother realised that she had been up there for quite along a time, and the music was still blasting, she decided to call her down to eat. So, the mother went up to call her daughter but there was no answer. The mother got worried, she got her husband to break open the door, and they found the daughter in a state where she could be described as half monkey, half snake, lizard and very ugly like a ghost. She appeared to b a mixture of monkey, lizard and human, she couldn't speak either.

Not sure what Allah turned this one into, but it's the same story, though in this case the daughter was watching TV.  The guy who posted this one claims his friend videotaped it, so it's legit, and that he is sharing it to show what happens to those of us who speak ill of Islam. So beware, oh ye infidels.

To be fair, there are comments from Muslims calling it rubbish, and begging the person who posted the video to remove it. But there are obviously plenty who believe they'll be turned into a freak animal if they diss Allah.

CAIR Head- Muslims Discovered America

I'm not sure what drugs Nihad Awad- head honcho of the Council on American Relations (CAIR)- is on, but he's convinced that Muslims discovered America. Apparently, they ventured here way before Columbus set foot on this continent, at least that's what he told the Saudi Arabian people during a TV interview for a Saudi TV station filmed in New York on December 27.

“There are historical accounts according to which the Muslims preceded Columbus, who is said to have discovered the U.S."

“Some documents and accounts indicate that Muslim seafarers were the first to reach the U.S., [so] the bottom line is that Islam played a part in the establishment and development of the U.S.”

Awad’s claim was made during an interview in which he argued that Muslims can settle in the U.S. without violating Islam’s myriad Sharia rules about religion, diet, speech, friendships, work and political loyalty.

“Islam flourishes in an atmosphere of freedom, and [it] spreads freedom, justice, and equality,” he claimed. “Every day I live as an American-Muslim citizen, I rediscover the firm bonds between the humane system that the U.S. created for its people, and the values advocated by Islam,” he claimed.

Islam spreads freedom, justice and equality?  Really. Tell that to women, gays, Christians, Jews, Hindus and other minorities living in Muslim majority countries. I think they would beg to differ.

Saudi Cleric Calls Hardee's Female Servers Prostitutes

It's odd to think that a Saudi Cleric would have a Twitter account, but Sheikh Ali Al Mutairi does, and he's receiving a lot of flak for tweeting that the newly-hired female servers at Hardee's fast food restaurants in Jeddah are nothing more than prostitutes. Apparently, there had been some tweets about boycotting the U.S. fast food chain (yes, very odd they have Hardee's in the Kingdom) and he decided to pipe in, as well, about the new hiring practices. Naturally they're covered head to toe (see photo) because all women in Saudi Arabia are, but the fact they are mingling with men makes them whores, or potentially so. After all, interacting with the opposite sex naturally leads to prostitution. Or so they think.

Al Mutairi said:

“At the beginning of her shift she’s a waitress. When her shift ends she becomes a prostitute. The more she’s around men the easier it becomes to get closer to her”

Wow, Hardee's waitress by day, skanky ho by night.

Al-Mutairi (@4aalmutairi) has a whopping 5,000 plus followers, but not all of them were too pleased with his asinine remark.

“Prostitution is not in working trying to survive but it is in corrupted minds that use religion to distort other’s reputation,” posted one male in response to Mutar’s tweet.

“Prostitute? So any female employee in my country is a whore now?” wrote a female tweep by the handle of @Sulafa_97.

Many commented by telling Sheikh Al Mutairi that through doubting the morality of ‘chaste’ women and describing them in the way he did, the cleric would be committing a serious vice, according to well-known Islamic teachings.

Another tweep posted pictures of some Hardee’s waitresses posted over social media by saying “These women are all covered up that I wouldn’t look at them, plus if your sister goes to that restaurant would you prefer a man or a woman taking her order?”

His pronouncement even merited a hashtag, and Al-Mutairi actually responded to those criticizing him:

“In the name of God, I have seen this hashtag and some are asking to apologise because they think I have defamed Hardee’s waitresses – the truth is I warned from the dangers of sexes mixing, at the beginning she is a waitress and in the end they will want her to become a prostitute and between are the devil’s steps.”

“As for hypocrites who shave their beards and moustache (a common way of describing liberals in Saudi Arabia), there is no apology for them because their zeal isn’t for God,” he added.

Ah, ignorance is bliss. That country has such a very long way to go before it joins the 19th century.

Nikah Mut'ah- Legal Prostitution in Islam - Egypt's Summer Brides

Nikah Mut'ah in Islam is a 'temporary marriage' whereby people can hitch up, do the deed for as long as the contract allows, and then part ways without feeling they've done anything sinful. Although it was permitted during Mohammad's time, the Sunni believe he eventually banned it, whereas the Shia still encourage the practice.

In other words, a man or a woman can be as skanky and promiscuous as they like (though there is a two month waiting period) but that convenient 'Mut'ah' saves their reputation. I'm not sure how they handle the whole issue of needing to be a virgin when they marry, but they've got those hymenoplasties to fix that, I suppose. I wonder if they have to divulge how many mut'ahs they've had when they finally get married permanently, if they can?

But try as they might to justify the practice,  it's really nothing more than Islam-sanctioned prostitution. Take the 'summer marriages' discussed in this article in the Independent, where under-age girls are pawned off (for money) to foreigners visiting Egypt for the summer.

Hundreds of under-age Egyptian girls are entering temporary marriages with rich tourists from the Persian Gulf during the summer in return for money for their families, a US report has found. These unions, dubbed summer marriages, are not legally binding, and end when the foreigners return to their own countries.

The marriages are organised by intermediaries who link wealthy men, mainly from Saudi Arabia, with poor families with young daughters, for commission. The foreign "husbands" give families money and presents akin to a dowry, with the "bride price" ranging between the equivalent of £320 and £3.200.

A recent US State Department report "Trafficking in Persons" found that wealthy men from the Gulf, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, travel to Egypt to buy "temporary" or "summer marriages" with Egyptian females, including girls under 18, and that these arrangements are often facilitated by the girls' parents and marriage brokers. The report found that children involved in the temporary marriages suffer both sexual servitude and forced labour as servants to their "husbands".

Egypt has laws designed to combat trafficking, which state that it is illegal to marry a foreigner when there is an age difference of more than 10 years. Nevertheless, there are ways to circumnavigate this, with one common practice being to forge birth certificates to make the girls appear older, and the men younger. In 2009, a court in Alexandria sentenced two marriage registrars to two years in prison for conducting temporary marriages of hundreds of girls under 18, but non-governmental organisations (NGOs) say that this is the tip of the iceberg, and that more needs to be done to implement existing laws.

Sometimes the girls have no say, others do it out of filial duty to help support the family. And often these girls are taken out of the country where they are then forced to work as servants for the first wife. But whether they are released from the marriage and stay in Egypt, their lives are pretty much ruined especially if they get a kid in the bargain.

Many abandon their offspring out of shame, either taking them to orphanages or leaving them to join thousands of other Egyptian street children. Some girls find themselves cast in a cycle of temporary marriages with Gulf tourists, and others are targeted by Egyptian men who marry them in order to force them into prostitution.

According to Dr Hoda Badran, chair of the Alliance for Arab Women, poverty is a major factor in Mut'ah marriages.

"If those families are in such a need to sell their daughters you can imagine how poor they are. Many times, the girl does not know she is marrying the husband just for the short term. She is young, she accepts what her family tells her, she knows the man is going to help them. If the girl is very poor, sometimes it is the only way out to help the family survive."

Many seem to think they will get more out of these marriages than they actually do. Take "Aziza" who at 17 married a Saudi man almost triple her age. Dr. Badran says he paid £2,120 for the girl, plus a promise of a job for her brother. They were 'married' for a month- he wined and dined her, impregnated her, then dumped her. He had told her she would join him later, but that never happened.

She waited for several months and, by this time heavily pregnant, tried to get hold of him through the Saudi embassy so her child could be formally recognised by him. However, her marriage was not officially registered which meant that Aziza could not prove her claim. She had no choice but to go back to her family and raise her baby as a single mother, something extremely frowned upon in Egypt's conservative society.

I'm sure it eases their pious Muslim consciences to enter into a 'temporary' marriage, but it's just a piece of paper, and if it's not 'registered' I can't imagine it would even be 'legal' in Islam.

Egyptian Salafists- Fatwa Against "Christian" Tomatoes

We have more stupid veggie/fruit fatwas. First it was the banana, cucumber and any other phallic-shaped fruit or veggie. Although the source was unverifiable, the fatwa banned women from touching them, for very obvious reasons.

Now Muslims are targeting the veggie that, botanically-speaking, is really a fruit- the rich in lycopene tomato. Yes, the "Popular Egyptian Islamic Association", one of the many Salafist groups that crawled out of the woodwork after the Arab Spring, has decided that tomatoes are for Christians only because when cut in half you see the sign of the cross. Maybe vampire killers can add the tomato to their arsenal of weapons.

NowLebanon.com reported that PEIA posted the fatwa on its Facebook page along with the above photo.

"Eating tomatoes is forbidden because they are Christian. [The tomato] praises the cross instead of Allah and says that Allah is three [in reference to the Holy Trinity]. "I implore you to spread this photo because there is a sister from Palestine who saw the Prophet of Allah in a vision and he was crying, warning his nation against eating [tomatoes]. If you don’t spread this [message], know that it is the devil who stopped you.”

Naturally, the fatwa caused an uproar among the less ignorant of Facebook users, so PEIA changed its message claiming it was not outright banning people from eating tomatoes, no, it was just a warning for them not to

"...cut it in [such a way that it reveals] the cross shape.”

Yes, and these are the people taking over Egypt and elsewhere.

Egyptian Cleric Tells Women To Stay Home Like Those Virgins In Paradise

And this is what the Egyptian women are in for.

Egyptian Cleric Mahmoud Al-Masri tells women they should cover up and never leave home, just like the black-eyed virgins in Paradise. I assume he means one of those 72 that every Muslim martyr gets through death in jihad.

Tajikistan Imams Warn Women About Temporary Marriages

At least Tajikistan is doing something right. The Sunni Muslim-majority (albeit secular) country is trying to educate its women about those bogus Islamic temporary marriages so popular in Iran. The ones used to legitimize sleeping around. Approved and legal in Iran, it's not legal in Tajikistan and the Mosques are trying to warn women about the inherent problems- like they have no legal rights to anything once that temporary marriage contract is over.
It's a relatively recent phenomena, and becoming more prevalent.

Recently, at a gathering following Friday Prayers on June 8, prominent Dushanbe Imam Eshon Abdul-Basir Saidov warned women against entering into temporary marriages, which religious leaders say have become a trend in Dushanbe over the past two or three years.

Echoing concerns voiced by his fellow imams, Saidov says dozens of Tajik women have fallen victim to "Iranian-style temporary marriage," known as mut'a.

Fairly widespread, and legally approved in predominantly Shia Iran, mut'a is a fixed-term marriage in Shi'a Islam which automatically dissolves upon the completion of a term agreed upon by both parties prior to the marriage.

Mut'a is not recognized by Sunni Islam, which is followed by the majority of Tajik Muslims.

Nevertheless, says Zurafo Rahmoni, the head of the Culture Department of Tajikistan's Islamic Revival Party, "nowadays we increasingly hear about Tajik women entering into mut'a matrimony with Iranian citizens living here."

Tajikistan has a sizeable Iranian community, the majority of which reside in Dushanbe and other major cities.

"These women are ultimately being left with no rights or protection both during and after their so-called marriages," Rahmoni says. "In all cases, the men eventually leave the country, leaving their temporary wives behind. The most painful part is that sometimes children are born into such unions."

Rahmoni blames the trend on the "dire" economic situation that prevails in Tajikistan.

"Many Tajik men have left the country for migrant work," he says. "There are foreign men coming to work in Tajikistan, and that's why the [mut'a] practice is on the rise in Tajikistan. Social and economic hardship are contributing factor to the rise of this phenomenon in recent years."

Imams have gone so far as to call it 'legalized prostitution', "un-Islamic" "contradictory to Tajik religious beliefs and traditions."

"Mut'a is an attempt to legalize prostitution," says Imam Saidov. "It shouldn't be recognized as a religious matrimony, and we consider it a sin."

In his Friday sermon, religious leader Saidov said Tajik women's "naivety and lack of awareness of their religious and civil rights" was to blame for their falling victim to temporary marriages.

Since these women are unfamiliar with temporary marriages, they are ignorant participants.

For Maya, a 25-year-old hairdresser from Dushanbe, her temporary marriage was initially "love at first sight" with a man from a foreign culture.

Maya, who declined to give her full name, said she met her former partner -- an Iranian businessman -- a year ago in a city restaurant popular with well-to-do foreigners.

A marriage proposal came "surprisingly swiftly," and Maya accepted. She says the religious marriage ceremony was conducted by a friend of the groom, with two others attending as witnesses.

"He mentioned something about short-term marriages, but I didn't quite understand it, I thought he was just being cautious," Maya admits. "But he left six months later. I live with my baby daughter. I don't get any support from him, financial or moral."

The women are being told to register those marriages with the secular authorities, and to sign a prenuptial agreement. That's pretty darn progressive or a Muslim country.

In addition to not recognizing religious marriages in any form, they also ban polygamy, SMS-text message divorces, and underage marriages. In fact, they want to raise the legal age to marry (for women) to 22. Currently, the legal age to marry is 18.
