Swiss School Caves To Male Student Muslim Demands- No Shaking Female Teachers Hands

A school in Switzerland has caved to the religious demands of two Muslim male students who refuse to shake hands with their female teachers.

What next, demands for segregated classrooms?

And thus continues the  Islamization of the world.

Male Muslim students at a school in northern Switzerland will no longer have to shake hands with their female teachers, following a ruling that has caused an uproar across the country.

A school in the northern municipality of Therwil, in the canton of Basel, reached the controversial decision after two male students, aged 14 and 15, complained that the Swiss custom of shaking hands with the teacher is counter to their religious beliefs if the teacher is a woman.

They argued that Islam does not permit physical contact with a person of the opposite sex, with the exception of certain immediate family members.

The local Therwil council did not support the school's decision, but said it "will not intervene as [it] is the responsibility of the school to set the rules," spokeswoman Monika Wyss said.

The decision triggered an outcry across Switzerland, with the Justice Minister Simonetta Sommaruga insisting on Swiss public television Monday that "shaking hands is part of our culture".

ISIS Female Jihadist Manifesto: Women Should Be Veiled and Hidden

The latest manifesto from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria is aimed at females, who are allowed to marry at nine, since they are the "most pure" at that age, but definitely by 16 or 17, basically espouses the whole keep 'em barefoot and pregnant mentality.

... all women should consider motherhood the purpose of their existence, according to a manifesto attributed to an all-female branch of the Islamic State (IS) militant group.

The Quilliam Foundation, a UK-based anti-terrorism think-tank, said the text states women should be hidden and veiled, stay at home and shun fashion boutiques and beauty salons as the work of the devil. Produced by the Al-Khanssaa Brigade, the manifesto reveals a more sober picture of what is expected of Muslim women than the accounts of Western female jihadists who have exaggerated their role on social media, the foundation, which translated the document into English, said. “Just as they have sexed up what it is to be a women living in the so-called caliphate, this document dresses it down.

Women, it is unambiguously stated, are homemakers and mothers,” the foundation said in concluding remarks to its translation. “The matters of adventure and excitement, themes most used by female Western recruiters trying to recruit young girls to IS, are the realm of men,” it added.

The document, which first appeared last month in Arabic, sets out what is permitted in terms of education and work. From seven to nine, girls should learn religion, Quranic Arabic and science. From 10 to 12, there should be more studies relating to Islamic sharia law on marriage and divorce in addition to knitting and cooking.

The manifesto indicates that a girl’s education ends at the age of 15. It states that a woman may leave the house if she going to study theology, if she is a woman doctor or teacher and if it has been ruled by fatwa that she must fight jihad or holy war.

German Imam Tells Flock Women Should Stay Home and Never Say No To Sex

One of MEMRI's latest videos.  A Muslim imam at the al-Nur Mosque in Berlin, Germany, tells his flock that a woman needs to be confined to the home to service her husband and children, she must have sex with her husband whenever he wants, even if she has her period, claiming that "there is nothing to prevent her husband from using her body for pleasure." This is in Germany, not Yemen or Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan, German!

Two Saudi Women Drivers Sent To "Terrorism" Court

Women drivers are terrorists, at least that's what Saudi Arabian authorities seem to think since they sent two women's rights activists to a "terrorism" tribunal after they defied the kingdom's driving ban.

Loujain Hathloul has been detained since December 1 after she tried to drive into the kingdom from neighbouring United Arab Emirates in defiance of a ban.

Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world which does not allow women to drive.

Maysaa Alamoudi, a UAE-based Saudi journalist, arrived at the border to support Ms Hathloul and was also arrested.

Activists said the ruling came at a hearing in Al-Ahsa, in the kingdom's Eastern Province.

They did not provide full details of the allegations against the pair but said investigations appeared to focus on the women's social media activities rather than their driving.

"They will transfer her case to the terrorism court," said an activist familiar with Ms Hathloul's case, adding that her lawyer plans to appeal.

According to other activists, it seems the authorities "are intent to basically make an example of the two women."

Because an empowered Muslim woman is obviously a threat.

Hard to believe that in the 21st century there are women who are not allowed to drive.

Birth Control Is Treason, Claims Turkey's Prez Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other conservative politicians there have been coming out with some doozies recently. Women shouldn't laugh in public. Women are not equal to men. Gender equality leads to more suicides. Now Erdogan has said that promoting birth control is "treason".

Erdogan made the comments on Sunday, addressing the bride and groom at the wedding ceremony of the son of businessman Mustafa Kefeli who is one his close allies.

He told the newly-weds that using birth control was a betrayal of Turkey’s ambition to make itself a flourishing nation with an expanding young population.

“One or two (children) is not enough. To make our nation stronger, we need a more dynamic and younger population. We need this to take Turkey above the level of modern civilizations,” Erdogan said.

“In this country, they (opponents) have been engaged in the treason of birth control for years and sought to dry up our generation,” Erdogan said.

Erdogan went on to praise marriage and said: “Marriage is a long journey. There are good days and bad days. Good days become more frequent as we share them and bad days finally bring happiness if we are patient.”

“One (child) means loneliness, two means rivalry, three means balance and four means abundance. And God takes care of the rest,” he added, in comments reported by the Dogan news agency, which also posted a video of his speech.

Now that's waging a war on women.

 Guess he didn't get the memo that three's a crowd.

The man has two boys and two girls.

Turkey's population is 76 million.

Gender Equality Leads To More Suicides, Claims Turkey's Prime Minister

"Mechanical [gender] equality" leads to increased suicide. That's what Turkey's Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu (of the conservative AKP Party) believes.

“Why is the Gross National Product in most developed countries – I don’t want to name it but in Scandinavian countries and in many other countries – at the highest level on one side [GDP], but the suicide rate is also at the highest level there. Why?” 

The premier, who was speaking at a meeting hosted by the women’s branch of his ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), described “mechanical equality” as something that it is beginning to “destroy the complementary relationship in life.”

“That’s why, since our women are fulfilling that divine mission of keeping humanity alive, then they have the right to rest before and after becoming a mother and spare time for their children. Granting this is not a favor, it is just paying a debt.”

Yes, keep them barefoot and pregnant.

Of course, he's just parroting what Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan who has already said women are not equal to men.

Then we have these other enlightened pronouncements:

Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç encouraged women not to laugh in public because it's morally corrupt.

And Muslims discovered the Americas.

He does get points for denouncing the rampant violence against women.

Iranian Women Being Stabbed By Paramilitary Basij Forces

Women in Iran are once again being targeted, but rather than acid, they are being attacked with knives- this time in Jahrom, in the southern part of the country. Around 12 or so young women, five of whom were university students, have been stabbed in their hips in recent days.

Of four attackers, only one has been identified, and he happens to be the son of the head of the notorious paramilitary Basij Force in that region. They're the ones who are now the enforcers of the Islamic dress code and conduct.

Mohamad Beheshtifar was identified through recorded footage from a security camera near where he attacked one victim.

Mohamad Beheshtifar’s father is IRGC Colonel Jalil Beheshtifar who heads the Basij force in Ghotbabad district in Jahrom County, south of the city of Jahrom.

This criminal act followed recent protests by 300 students in Jahrom University where students protested against the suppressive measures in the university.

The attacks on university students are also taking place as university students across Iran are expected to take part in the annual protest on the occasion of Student Day on December 7 – known locally as 16 Azar – to demand political freedom in Iran.

Beheshtifar's motive:

The attacker has said he had been motivated to attack after one cleric has said “killing of a Bad-Hejab (improperly veiled women) is permissible” and he has done this to act to “prevent vice”.

Women are not equal to men, and should focus on motherhood. This, from Recep Tayyip Erdogan, president of a country that has been battling to join the European Union for a decade or so.

He shared that morsel of Islamic idiocy (though, granted, there are other religious conservatives who believe the same) at a meeting regarding women's rights.

And feminists suck, because they don't embrace motherhood.

“Our religion gave woman a station. What station is this? The station of motherhood ... Motherhood is something different and is the most unobtainable, the highest station."

“There are those who understand this, those who don't. You can't tell this to feminists, because they do not accept motherhood. They have no such concerns.

ISIS Publishes Price List For Yazidi and Christian Slaves As Young As One-Year-Old

According to the Iraqi News, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) slave trade has been slowing down, so it put together a price list for abducted Christian and Yazidi women and children in order to control prices. They range from $43.00 for a middle-aged woman to $172.00 for a toddler. This, after a video surfaced showing men joking about Yazidi sex slaves.

“The market to sell women and spoils of war has been experiencing a significant decrease, which has adversely affected ISIS revenue and financing of the Mujahideen.”

You'll lose your head if you don't adhere to the controls, and forget about buying more than 3 "spoils" of war. However, if you're a foreign jihadist from Turkey, Syria and Arabs from the Gulf States, it seems you get carte blanche.

Prices:

A (Yazidi or Christian) woman, aged 40 to 50 years, is for 50,000 dinars.

The rate of a (Yazidi or Christian) woman, aged 30 to 40 years, is 75,000 dinars.

The rate for a (Yazidi or Christian) woman, aged 20 to 30 years, is 100,000 dinars.

A (Yazidi or Christian) girl, aged 10 to 20 years, is for 150,000 dinars.

A (Yazidi or Christian) child’s price, aged 1 to 9 years, is 200,000 dinars.

Video- ISIS fighters in Iraq Joking About Yezidi Sex Slaves

There's a video that has surfaced of alleged ISIS jihadists in Iraq joking about buying, selling and trading their Yezidi sex slaves, which is sanctioned in Islam.

It was translated by an Arabic journalist for Al Aan TV in Dubai- Jenan Moussa- who translated the video, and posted it on Twitter.

From the comments on YouTube, there are some who believe the men are Saudi, others think that it's fake, and then we have people like this idiot:

This is in accordance with the Koran, stop attacking these people and their culture. who are you to criticize?
White people invented slavery. if anything these men are victims of white imperialism.

No wonder young men are joining ISIS in droves, as repressive as the religion is, they can get lucky, and it's cool with Mohammad and Allah.

Saudi Cleric- Rape, Fornication and Divorce Will Rise If Women Drive

The Saudi mentality, and the typical Muslim attitude towards women:

Islamic researcher Hussein Al-Nu'ami said that women should not be allowed to drive because they are "subject to menstruation and pregnancy" and "internal psychological factors", which "prevent women from coping with pressure." Al-Nu'ami claimed that the rates of rape, fornication, and divorce were higher in societies in which women drove. His argument was countered by Saudi journalist Daham Al-'Anzi, who asked him: "If a woman commits an act of depravity, what's that got to do with driving?" The debate was broadcast on the Saudi Selah TV channel and posted on the Internet on September 26, 2014.

He has no problem with a woman driving in some remote area where she has no contact with anyone, however.

He admits there's a problem with some men harassing women, so rather than address that issue, women should just stay home, because some Muslim men have no control over their libido.

Ex-Muslimah- Oppression Of Muslim Women Exists

"Marwa" is a "mostly-liberal" Arab, Middle-Eastern, ex-Muslimah, atheist blogger living in the U.S., and she's written an interesting response to an article she read on PolicyMic by Lauren Rankin. Rankin is a white, liberal feminist Western woman, who was being very critical of a series of tweets by Joyce Carol Oates equating the rape and sexual harassment of women in Egypt with religion.  Ms. Oates wrote:

Rankin launches into the typical accusations of Islamophobia, which she stupidly believes is a form of racism, claiming that it's patriarchy not religion that contributes to the oppression of Muslim women.  Marwa  begs to differ.

I love my feminist allies and friends, but sometimes white Western feminists get things all backwards when they try to speak about the experiences of foreign women of color. Especially if they’re talking about people they’ve never met, places they’ve never lived, religious and legal and patriarchal systems they are unacquainted with, and make broad, sweeping generalizations about those systems. This is such an example. I understand that it might be driven by a reflection of the voices of Muslim women who freely choose and cleave to their religion and rail out against accusations that they are being oppressed–what I do not understand is how the experiences and insights of free women with agency and self-determination can speak to the experiences of their sisters who do not have such freedom–the woman who is free to practice Islam or not, to wear hijab or not–this woman does not speak for me or my ex-Muslim and Muslim friends who suffer under Islamic systems any more than a Western woman does.

To be clear, I applaud the instinct to try to reduce anti-Muslim hate and bigotry. It is the approach here that I think is utterly misguided and frankly dangerous. Rankin is attempting to object to Islam being characterized in a monolithic manner…by characterizing it in a monolithic manner, as something that never contributes to or causes misogyny, rape, and oppression of women in Muslim-majority countries. And while I myself am a champion of trying to oppose anti-Muslim bigotry, I believe the strongest and most compassionate way of doing this is by resisting the characterization of Islam as a monolith. What has happened here is that Rankin has engaged in what I say is a dangerous refusal to examine the very real influences and intermingling of religion and patriarchy in violence and oppression against women and children in Muslim-majority countries.

Women Have Half The Brain Function As Men- Claims Saudi Scholar Al Arifi

Sheikh Muhammad al-Arifi is a famous Saudi scholar and professor at King Saud University. He has a Twitter following of 7 million. In a video on YouTube he explains why Allah (in the Quran) requires the need for two women to testify versus the testimony of one man.  Because, apparently, we have half the brain function as men:

".... the man has a gland in his head that allows him to do two things: Remember, and talk-- at the same time. As for the woman, her gland only allows her to do one thing. Either she remembers, or she talks. So God almighty said: One man, and two women. So that if one woman forgets, the other one reminds her."

Of course this is the same man who said that fathers should never be alone with their daughters lest they tempt them into lust, which prompted some to say he needs psychiatric help.

Saudi Justice- Preacher Gets 8 Years For Raping and Killing 5-Year-Old daughter

So, it looks like Fayhan al-Ghamdi, the sick preacher who raped and brutally tortured his 5-year-old daughter because he thought she was no longer a virgin, didn't exactly walk free, as had previously been reported.  But he's only getting a mere 8 years in jail and 800 lashes for the crimes which eventually led to the death of little Lama. His ex-wife is now getting $270,000 in "blood money", as per Shariah law,  although she had wanted $2.7 million.

The little girls injuries included a broken back and ribs, a broken left arm, a crushed skull, severe bruising and burns, and according to social worker Randa al-Kaleeb working at the hospital, she had been raped "everywhere."

Ghamdi was a TV preacher.

According to Al-Arabiya, in Saudi Arabia where men reign supreme, murder and rape can garner a death sentence all except for fathers and husbands.  Hubbies can kill their wives and dads can kill their kids and only face from 5 to 12 years.  That's it.

Women Should Never Leave The House, According To Bangladeshi Islamist

According to the Bangladeshi Islamist Emir of Hefajat-e-Islam - Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi- if women truly believe in the Quran they should stay at home. raise kids and never venture out, because Allah says so.

He goes on to explain that women are like tamarind- which makes you salivate. In fact, they're worse than tamarind, and since men have absolutely zero control over their lustful urges, women should hide away so as not to tempt men, including old men. Like the old fool himself, I guess.

Women have no need to leave the house, if they need food they should get their sons or husbands to go shopping. I guess if you're single you should starve.

In other words, stay at home, ignorant, barefoot and pregnant, and live like an indentured slave.

And women should only be educated until 4th or 5th grade, so she at least can do bookkeeping for her hubby.

He makes some other woefully ignorant remarks.

Female Afghan Politican Injured, Young Daughter Killed By Taliban In Ambush

Another female politician attacked in Afghanistan by the Taliban. It's Ramadan, the holiest of Muslim holidays and they still shed blood.  

Senator Rouh Gul Khirzad was driving on the main highway to spend Eid al-Fitr at her home in Nimroz province when her convoy was ambushed en route from Kabul. She was seriously wounded along with her husband, son, and one daughter.  Her 8-year-old daughter and their bodyguard were not so lucky- both were killed during the ambush.

Khirzad has been a senator  in the upper house since the end of 2010. She heads the defense and internal security commission. 

Hanifa Safi, another politican, was killed a year ago when a bomb in her car exploded. Her husband and daughter were injured. There have been more who have been targeted.

Turkish Sufi Scholar: Immoral For Pregnant Women To Be Seen In Public

More Muslim chauvinism: pregnant women should not be seen in public, so says Omer Tugrul Inancer, a Turkish Sufi Muslim scholar and lawyer who shared that enlightened comment on the state TRT 1 TV channel.

''It is against our civilization to use fanfare to announce a pregnancy. Pregnant women also should not go around in public with those bellies. It's not aesthetic'. 'After seven or eight months, future mothers should only leave the house by car with their husbands to get some fresh air, and only in the evening. Instead we see them all over television. It's unpleasant. This is not realism, it's immorality''. 

A pregnant woman is immoral? Wow.

Naturally, secular Turks  were outraged taking to Twitter and calling for protests.

''Inancer says it is unpleasant to see pregnant women on the street. But isn't it unpleasant hearing the premier say women must have at least three children?'' protested secular nationalist Mehmet Oktay, accusing TRT of having become a mere mouthpiece of the Islamic government. Islamist Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan has more than once called on Turkish women to have at least three children in the name of national growth, berating abortion and cesareans. 

The Grand Mufti came up with a compromise, of sorts.

''Religion does not call for the isolation of women, pregnant or otherwise. Becoming a mother is a gift from God'', he said. ''However, pregnant women should dress carefully, as all women should, and not wear garments that reveal the belly or the lower back''.

I have keys.

When I first moved to the United States eleven months ago, it took me several weeks to grasp this bit of information.

I have keys.

I have keys to my own front door and I can open this front door and walk down the street whenever I want to.

I can walk down the street without being watched through the windows and without anyone calling my parents and telling them I am roaming loose on the street.

I can walk down the street, sit down on a bench under a tree, and eat an iced cream cone. Then I can stand up and walk back home.

There will be nobody waiting for me at my house to ask me where I have been, refuse to let me in, call me a liar, and use my walk as renewed incentive to rifle through all of my possessions for proof that I am doing something wrong.

Because the simple desire to take a walk cannot but hide something deviant.

Because there is no good reason why a woman should want to walk down the street just to walk, and expose herself to the questioning and predatory eyes of the neighbors and strange men.

I have keys to my front door, now, and I can open my front door and walk down the street whenever I want to.

Raped Norwegian Expat Pardoned In Dubai

The Norwegian woman who was raped by a colleague on a business trip to Dubai has been "pardoned."  Marte Deborah Dalelv is free to leave Dubai. One would hope that women might think twice before choosing to live in a Middle Eastern country where such draconian laws can land a rape victim in jail. Being "pardoned" for being raped is as egregious as the sentence itself, though I'm happy that she can get the hell out of dodge.

A Norwegian woman at the center of a Dubai rape claim dispute said Sunday that officials have dropped her 16-month sentence for having sex outside marriage and she is free to leave the country.
"I am very, very happy," Marte Deborah Dalelv told The Associated Press. "I am overjoyed."
The sentence against the 24-year-old Dalelv last week stirred widespread outrage in the West and highlighted the frequent clash between Dubai's Western-friendly image and its Islamic-based legal codes.

Dalelv claimed she was raped in March by a co-worker, but was charged with having sex outside marriage after going to the police. Her decision to go public about the sentence last week in a series of interviews appeared to put pressure on authorities in Dubai and tarnish the city's reputation as a cosmopolitan hub, including possible fallout on its high-profile bid for the 2020 World Expo.

"I have my passport back. I am pardoned," said Dalelv, who worked for an interior design firm in Qatar and was in Dubai for a business meeting when the alleged rape took place.
