How convenient. Corrupt Illinois Democrat Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., who will spend the next 2 1/2 years in jail for spending $750,000 of his campaign funds to buy himself mounted elk heads, fancy jewelry and other stuff, conveniently developed a 'mood disorder' which qualifies him for government disability pay. Yes, indeedy, Jesse will get a check for $8,700 per MONTH for his so-called mental issues. I know people who deserve to be on disability who never qualified, and yet he gets that amount while in jail for corruption? He will also get some of his federal pension. $45,000.00
Something is seriously wrong with the system!
Mama Jackson Jr., Sandi, will also spend some time in the clinker for helping cover up her husband's fraud. Nice example to set for their offspring.
By the way, Jesse made it to Judicial Watch's list of the 'Top Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians'.
Judicial Watch has more on the sudden onset of his mental issues. Click here.

Gay Spy Ring Busted in Saakashvili's Georgia
Allegations of a gay honey trap have surfaced in Georgia, levied against President Mikhail Saakashvili's military police force. Saakashvili is considered to be pro-West and pro-NATO, and has been praised for fighting corruption (although he's also been criticized for being somewhat authoritarian), so it's rather disappointing that he would be involved in something like this, but politics and power corrupt.
Georgian prosecutors claim President Saakashvili’s military police created a network of gay agents who started relations with famous people and later used blackmail to ensure their loyalty to the authorities. The rest here.
The Georgian prosecutors’ office on Tuesday alleged the project involving gay agents had been instituted by the Military Police department of the Defense Ministry. Three top Military Police officers have been released on bail after appearing in court in connection with the case, the report said.
The prosecutors claim the former head of the Military Police, Legis Kardava, instructed some high-placed officials of his agency to gather information on homosexual men. Specially selected gay agents seduced their victims and took them to apartments equipped with audio and video recorders where they “secretly and illegally recorded fragments of private lives” of these people. After this the records were used to force the people to cooperate with the special services.
The investigators say the provocateurs chose famous people, though no names have been disclosed. It is also claimed that the ultimate objective was to force the Georgian celebrities into demonstrating loyalty to the existing political regime, headed by President Mikhail Saakashvili.
Prosecutors allowed some of the video from the case to be shown on national TV after the identities of participants were concealed.
Prosecutors also stated that the gay honey trap practice existed until the latest parliamentary elections that took place in October 2012. The poll was won by opposition party Georgian Dream and recent constitutional changes ensure that Mikhail Saakashvili has very little real political power even though he will remain on his post till October this year.

Head of Tunisia's Islamist Ennahda Wants Blogger Who Exposed His Son-In-Law's Affair Flogged
The daddy-in-law of Tunisia's Foreign Minister Rafik Abdessalem, whose embezzlement of public funds and extramarital affair were exposed by a female blogger, wants those charged with slander flogged. In other words, flog that blogger. Daddy-in-law also happens to be Rachid Ghannouchi, the leader of the Islamist Ennahda Party that now rules Tunisia with an overwhelming majority, so he could get his way.
Of course, the first thing Islamists do is claim that any accusations of corruption are just evil plots to defame their party, whereas it turns out their pious posteriors are simply just as corrupt as other politicians.
The Islamist leader said during a Friday sermon that the content published by Tunisian blogger Olfa Riahi reflects “values of hypocrites” punishable according to the Shariah law.
Female blogger Riahi had published what she said were authentic documents accusing Foreign Minister Rafik Abdessalem of having paid for nights he spent with a woman in Sheraton hotel from the government’s coffers.
Riahi said the hotel receipts and billing information she obtained beat the names of the minister and his alleged mistress. In an interview with alchourouk.com, Riahi said it took her two and half months to verify the authenticity of the documents and trace the bill payments.
“I have the bank account of the foreign ministry and I am certain the documents are authentic,” calling on the authorities to open a probe into the “scandal.”
The minister appeared in the state television dismissing the allegations as part of a plot against his Islamist government. He said he expects similar accusations to be leveled against other ministers.
But he admitted staying at the Sheraton hotel “because he does not own a house in the capital and because the hotel was near his office.” He also admitted that the woman mentioned in Riahi’s documents was true, but said she was a “relative” who came to see him at the hotel.
Mondir Thabet, a Tunisian political analyst said Ghannouchi’s statement was a rejection of the country’s civilian status and “a clear call for imposing Shariah.”
Ziad Krichan, editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper “al-Maghrib” said Ghannouchi’s call reflects the Islamists unable to separate religion from politics.
Of course, the first thing Islamists do is claim that any accusations of corruption are just evil plots to defame their party, whereas it turns out their pious posteriors are simply just as corrupt as other politicians.
