Islamists- Destruction of Israel A "Matter of Time"

Gatestone Institute has posted a sobering article by Dr. Mitchell Bard about just how futile it is to expect peace in the Middle East. In fact, if Islamists have their way, the destruction of Israel is just "a matter of time."

What makes negotiations with Iran, ISIS, Hamas or any other Islamist group impossible is that their leaders believe they are acting according to the immutable word of God. America, Israel, other Muslims with whom they disagree, cannot do anything to satisfy them except "submit" (the Arabic word "Islam" means "submission"). As Egyptian cleric Muhammad Hussein Ya'qub said in a televised sermon in 2009, "If the Jews left Palestine to us, would we start loving them? Of course not. The Jews are infidels not because I say so but because Allah does... They aren't our enemies because they occupy Palestine; they would be our enemies even if they had not occupied anything."

Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and other terror groups do not conceal their intentions. The Hamas covenant explicitly calls for Israel's destruction and does not distinguish between Israelis and Jews:
"Our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious... It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine... It is one of the links in the chain of the struggle against the Zionist invaders...
The Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him salvation, has said: "The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say, 'O Muslims, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him'".... There is no solution for the Palestine question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors. Palestine is an Islamic land."

But the ultimate goal of Islamists is not just the destruction of Israel, but the Islamization of any land Muslims have occupied in the past, like Spain, and beyond.

43 Islamist Groups Form 'Army of Islam' In Syria

The 'Army of Islam' (Jaysh al-Islam) has formed in Syria. It's an amalgamation of 43 Islamist groups to be headed by Sheikh Muhammad Zahran ibn Abdallah Alloush.

Apparently, al-Qaeda affiliate Jabhat al-Nusra, Ahrar al-Sham (Free Men of the Levant), and others of the same ilk did not join.

This does not bode well for Syria.

A snippet from the official announcement/ceremony where the 43 groups are named, along with a call for others to join forces.

Pro-Morsi Islamist Tries To Set Colleague On Fire Over Pro-Egyptian Army Ringtone

Don't like your colleague's politics- set them on fire. That's what an Egyptian pro-Morsi Islamist tried to do to a female co-worker after he heard the pro-army ringtone blaring from her cell phone.

The newspaper said the 23-year-old woman had told the police that her colleague started insulting her after he heard the ringtone. He then attempted to set her on fire by dousing her in petrol.

The suspect reportedly works in a pharmaceutical company and frequently got into big arguments with his coworker for using a ringtone praising the Egyptian army.

The song “Tislam al-Ayade” or “May God Reward the hands” gained massive popularity among Egyptians after the army, led by Egypt's army chief General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, toppled Mursi on July 3, sparking a violent crackdown on Muslim Brotherhood supporters and officials.

Not that something as bizarre as this hasn't happened in this country. The last presidential election raised the hackles of many a voter on both sides of the fence, including the Arizona woman who ran over her husband for not voting, blaming him for another four years with Barack Obama.

Yemeni Girl Who Refused Forced Marriage and Uncle Threatened By Islamists

Both the uncle of a Yemeni 11-year-old girl Nada al-Ahdal who said she would kill herself if she was forced to marry a Yemeni man living in Saudi Arabia, and the girl herself, have been threatened by Islamists linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.

The girl had been living with her uncle Abdel Salam al-Ahdal since she was three, but had returned home after her parents insisted she was to move back home.  She she ran away again after she was to be married off again.

The parents apparently have been marrying off their daughters for profit.

Al-Qaeda To Establish Islamic State In Syria, Claims FSA

Looks like there will soon be fighting in Syria on 3 fronts- Bashar al-Assad's forces versus the Free Syrian Army (FSA) versus the al-Qaeda linked and influenced Islamists.  The latter two will probably duke it out after al-Qaeda announces an Islamic state in the northern part of Syria where the rebel forces have prevailed. According to an anonymous rep of the FSA this is going to happen once they are done with Ramadan, the first day of Eid.

He said: “The implementation of this plan started last week with the killing of Commander Fadi El-Qash and his brother in Dana village, followed by the killing of senior member of the Supreme Command Council, Kamal Hamami, and will be followed by more assassinations of officers and important figures in the FSA.”

The sources confirmed that “the FSA circulated this information within limited, trusted circles as soon as it became available, and will avoid any confrontation that could weaken the rebels in their fight against the government forces.”

He claimed that the FSA was currently “deploying units and erecting checkpoints in towns that will be targeted according to the plan, and strengthen our presence in these towns to stop them becoming prey to the Islamic state.”

Meanwhile, the FSA source said “we will try to sit down and talk to the Islamic state if we find someone who listens, in order to avoid bloodbaths and clashes which would reflect negatively on the fight against the government forces.”

He added, however, that “whatever we do, there will definitely be war between us.”
The BBC reported on Tuesday that the FSA, following the killing of Hamami, said: “The Islamic state had threatened to kill all of the other members of the Supreme Military Council, another sign of the escalating struggle within the armed uprising.”

And weapons are headed for the rebel opposition forces from the EU and the US.

It's going to get even uglier and bloodier in Syria, before the dust finally settles, whenever that happens.

Egyptian Islamists Beat Young Boy- Viral Video

Al Arabiya has posted a video that has gone viral of a young Egyptian boy being attacked by a group of pro-Morsi Islamists after they discover he's not there to support Mohammed Morsi.

Islamists flooded Ramses Square in Cairo after stuffing their faces for Iftar- the meal that breaks the Ramadan fast.

Thousands of Islamists poured into the square after breaking their Ramadan fast on Monday seeking to organize a sit-in there, threatening to paralyze traffic in one of the busiest parts of Cairo.

Their move prompted police intervention and violent clashes throughout the night. During the clashes a boy showed up to the scene and the angry Islamists grabbed him with one of them asking him:

“Who sent you here?” “Who are you?” “Are you with Mursi?” and “Who are you with?”

The horrified-looking boy was then beaten on the back of his head and then he was slapped.

When a man attempted to stop the assault, they shouted at him saying that the boy was hired by Mursi’s opponents.

“I know he is, but he’s just a child,” the young man responds. The crying boy pleads for help as several men continue to beat him.

“This isn’t merciful,” says a man approaching them.

He and others take the boy away, but it is unclear what happened to him afterwards.

At the end of the video, a protester notices that the incident is being filmed, so he tells the cameraman to film photos of Mursi instead.

So here we have a group of adults beating a defenseless young boy during Ramadan the holiest of holy Muslim holidays. One of the Five Pillars of Islam. Maulana Muhammad Ali said of Ramadan fasting:

“The real purpose of fasting is to attain righteousness. A person who undergoes hunger and thirst, but does not behave righteously, has done nothing. If someone is told the aim and object of doing a certain duty, and he does that duty but does not attain the required aim and object, it is as if he has not done that duty.”

Violence is not righteous.  This just demonstrates how hypocritical the most self-righteous and supposedly pious Muslims really are.

We Will Burn Christians and Become Suicide Bombers, Claim Pro-Morsi Islamists

Once again, Islamists proving what violent animals they are.

At a pro-Morsi demonstration in Egypt, Islamists tell General Abdul Fattah al-Sisi that with the ousting of Mohammad Morsi, he has created a new Taliban and al-Qaeda in Egypt, and that they (the Islamists) will turn into suicide bombers and destroy him and Egypt if "matters" are not brought "to where they were." I assume he means reinstate Morsi to the presidency.  Al-Sisi will also be to blame for the death of secularists, Christians, Shiites and all those who opposed Morsi.

Then the treat: an old, niqab-clad woman, claiming she's not part of the Muslim Brotherhood, just a religious Egyptian lady who vows to set her Christian neighbours on fire.

How's that for Muslim piety.

Head Of Egyptian Military, el-Sisi, Islamist Sympathizer?

Some troubling background information on General Abdel Fattah el-Sisi- the defence minister who made the statement about ousting Mohammed Morsi- from the Guardian UK.

Sisi, a career soldier, was head of military intelligence and the youngest member of the 19-strong Supreme Council of the Armed Forces. But despite coming from the heart of the security establishment he had a reputation for being sympathetic to the Muslim Brotherhood — the reason, many Egyptians assumed, Morsi chose him for the job. Sisi is said to be a religious man, and his wife, unusually, wears the full niqab (face veil.)

Mohamed Beltagy, a senior Brotherhood figure, has described receiving a "brotherly" warning from the intelligence chief about an impending attack by regime thugs on demonstrators in Tahrir Square in what became known as the "battle of the camel" — one of the brutally defining moments of the revolution that overthrew Hosni Mubarak, in February 2011.

But Sisi also attracted criticism for appearing to defend the behaviour of the armed forces in detaining and beating women protestors who were subjected to strip searches and "virginity tests" and threatened with prostitution charges.
Apparently Sisi also allowed Islamists to attend the "apolitical" military officer's training academy.

Hopefully he will remain neutral.

Islamist Threats Force Egyptian Writer Hamed Abdel-Samad To Disapper

Egyptian writer and political scientist Hamed Abdel-Samad- who is now a citizen of Germany and lives there- has so angered Islamists they want him dead. As a result, he has had to go into hiding.

According to publishers Droemer Knaur, based in Munich, the threats came from Islamist websites:

“He takes these calls seriously,” Knaur said in a statement on Tuesday.

Knaur said Salafi and Muslim Brotherhood sites had earlier posted a picture of the author with a caption reading “Wanted Dead.”

Leading Jama’a al-Islamiya member Assem Abdel Maged and Salafi preacher Mahmoud Shaaban had called Abdel-Samad an “infidel” during an Al-Hafez programme, after the writer delivered a lecture in Cairo last week criticizing radical Islamism in Egypt.

Here's an interesting video interview where he discusses his notions about Islam.

Apparently Abdel-Samad moved to Germany in the 1990s, and his dad was an Imam.

Islamists Attack "Kissing" Protesters In Turkey

Remember the "kiss-in" protest after the Chik-Fil-A anti-gay marriage controversy?  Well, Turkey is having a similar kissing protest, but this one has nothing to do with gay marriage. It has to do with the increasing Islamization of once-secular Turkey.  Apparently, a couple who were caught kissing in public were subsequently chastised by officials of the ruling Islamist- Justice and Development Party (AKP). After the incident, subway authorities then made demands of their passengers:

"to act in accordance with moral rules" after security cameras spotted the couple kissing.
The issue prompted an opposition lawmaker to question the Islamist-rooted ruling party, which many secularists fear wants to expand the role of Islam in Turkey, about whether subway officials were authorized to make such demands.

So some 100 - 200 or so people took to a subway stop in Ankara, along with their "free kisses" placards, to participate in a "kiss-in" protest.  Then the Islamists had to get involved in a counter-protest. Even though there were only about 20 or so there chanting the obligatory "Allahu Akhbar", they allegedly brought their knives with them and then things got ugly. The Islamists attacked the kissers, and one individual was stabbed.

Secular Turks are also not happy with the recent decision to ban alcohol advertising and late night alcoholic beverage sales, other than in tourist areas.

Video of the protest. Note the vast difference between the peaceful "kissers" and the rabid pro-Islamists.

Mali Islamists Using Rape As A Weapon Of War- UN Study

According to a study commissioned by UN Women, when the Islamists took over the northern part of Mali they began raping women some as young as 9, others as old as 70. The Islamists call it 'marriage' or Nikah Mut'ah- a temporary marriage which is allowed in Islam. These so-called 'marriages' are nothing more than a form of Islamically sanctioned prostitution, and in the case of the women in Mali, rape.

Interviews with Malian women revealed:

Throughout the occupied regions, girls are forced into marriage. When an Islamist marries you, you can be sure that, at night, you will be visited by at least four or five people, and that every night, you’ll receive a visit from a different man, a “new husband”. One girl told me: “it was by the smell that I knew that it was a different man coming to me every time. Every time, I was aware of a different smell than the last time.”

The Islamists perform religious marriages in order to escape the clutches of international criminal justice. They carry out a form of “marriage” so that, at night, you can be treated as a sexual slave. During the day, you are there to serve tea to the men and attend to their every need. This is why I always say that what’s happened in Mali is unprecedented.

It’s true to say that rape is being used as a weapon of war.

Imagine, in Gao, armed men bursting in on a family. The husband is there. They seize his wife, rape his wife and his daughter. I warn you, what I’m going to say is hard but they force him to rape his daughter. It’s dreadful. When you do that to a man, it takes away his humanity. Even if he wants to resist, he can’t. It’s to be expected, it’s human.

Anyone who turns a woman’s body into a trophy of war, he’s already won the battle. He doesn’t need any other weapons. He’s already won.

The rest here.

Egyptian Preacher Badr Would Execute Judges If He Were President

The oh-so enlightened Islamists  are not pleased at all that Egyptian judges threw out the lawsuit demanding that Bassem Youssef's show be banned, and cleric Sheikh Abdullah Badr  believes that the only solution for dissent or people who refuse to do his bidding is death.   Yes, he told viewers during a recent talk show that if he were Egypt's president, he would have them all killed.

Badr said of Youssef:

“Bassem Youssef is a fool and all what he does is foolishness, ignorance and incivility."
And of the judges:

“A respected court or judge, yet, comes and tells you: I will not shut down the channel or the program; this is a purposeful program that presents constructive criticism.”

“I swear to god, if I were ruling Egypt I would execute them, I swear I would execute them.”

He's also pissed that President Mohammed Morsi has yet to establish Shariah law, a campaign promise he has yet to fulfill.

So much for the "religion of peace."

Egypt's Satirist Bassem Youssef Now Charged With "Insulting Pakistan"

It didn't take long for Bassem Youssef (Egypt's 'Jon Stewart') to make headline news again. Last week, the courts threw out a lawsuit filed against him for skewering President Mohammed Morsi and Islam, this week some new complaints have surfaced- this time for "insulting Pakistan", "spreading atheism", and another charge for "insulting Islam."

In his weekly show al-Bernameg, the satirist wore a hat similar to, but much bigger than, that worn by Mursi while receiving an honorary doctorate from a university in Islamabad last month.

Another lawsuit claimed Youssef was attempting to “spread atheism” after he allegedly made fun of the prayer ritual, which constitutes “questioning one of the five pillars of Islam,” Egypt’s Tahrir newspaper reported.

The third lawsuit accused him of disrespecting a lawyer at the public prosecutor’s office, and police officers outside the court, when he was summoned in March.

Youssef posted satirical comments on Twitter such as: “Officers and the lawyer at public prosecution’s office want to take a picture with me.” The complaint considered the Tweet “insulting,” Tahrir reported.

The charges against Youssef have raised international concerns.

Mursi’s presidential office has insisted that citizens’ complaints, not the office itself, are behind the probe.

Youssef’s high-profile case has prompted the United States to express “real concerns” about the direction being taken by the Egyptian government.

Although the court threw out the lawsuit demanding Youssef's show be banned, the charges of insulting Islam and Morsi are still pending, and he's out on bail pending further investigation.

And we give this country millions in aid.

Lawsuit against Bassem Youssef -Egypt's Jon Stewart- Dismissed

Good news for Egypt's version of Jon Stewart Bassem Youssef. The target of a Muslim Brotherhood lawsuit for insulting Islam and current President Mohammed Morsi and his cronies, Youssef also faced arrest. But a Cairo court threw out the lawsuit demanding Youssef's show be banned from Egyptian airwaves.

Libyan Islamists Publicly Lashing Citizens

Vigilante Islamists (allegedly from the extremist group Ansar Al-Sharia) publicly lashing citizens for unknown crimes in Libya, just because they can.

Lashings have resurfaced since crazy Muammar al-Gaddafi's (Qadhafi) was killed.  And forget the law, Islamists take it upon themselves to dish out the punishment without going through Shariah courts.

And the poor fool crying "Allahu Akbar".

Ahmadinejad Gets Shoe Thrown At Him In Egypt

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad took a little trip to Egypt probably to advise Mohammed Morsi how to turn the country into an Islamic state, just like his own. And although the Islamists were obviously fawning over him, not everyone was so thrilled with the visit. In fact, Mahmoud suffered the same indignity that George W. Bush did when some fellow threw his shoe at him.

2nd Arab Spring? Anti-Muslim Brotherhood Protests Turn Violent in Egypt

If the photo is any indication, there were thousands upon thousands of protesters in Cairo's Tahrir Square on the second anniversary of the Egyptian Arab Spring uprising. Last time around it was to protest President Hosni Mubarak and his regime, this time they were prostesting the Islamist they overwhelmingly voted for as president-  Mohammed Morsi. The people are so disenchanted, the protests have once again turned very violent with some 100 or so wounded, and at least seven dead. As a result, troops are being mobilized in the Suez Canal. Protesters have stormed buildings and even torched one of the Muslim Brotherhood's.

Egyptian protesters on Friday stormed the governorate headquarters in the canal city of Ismailiya and attempted to storm two other buildings elsewhere, witnesses said.

Protesters surrounded the governorate building in Damietta and in the Nile Delta city of Kafr el-Sheikh they stormed the courtyard of the governorate leading to clashes, witnesses told AFP.

Meanwhile, the headquarters of the political wing of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood, the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), was torched in Ismailiya east of Cairo, an official told Al Arabiya.

[snip]

The Muslim Brotherhood said protesters also attempted to storm one of its offices in the Cairo district of Tawfikiya.

[snip]

Demonstrators outside the state television building in Cairo blocked traffic as marches of tens of thousands of people swarmed the capital, and tear gas was also fired at protesters in second city Alexandria.

I don't blame them, they fought long and hard for freedom, but did they really expect anything good to come of voting in to power the Muslim Brotherhood? And did the MB think the people would sit still while the little freedom they did have under Mubarak erodes even further.

Is the  beginning of a second Arab Spring?

Morsi Rants About Jews And Obama, The US Gifts Him With F-16 Fighter Jets

We've sent four F-16 fighter jets to Egypt, and plan on sending more? Really? After Morsi was outed for his anti-Semitic/Israel rants, and for criticizing Barack Obama? We're sending fighter jets to a country that is now run by Islamists, and borders Israel?

Four F-16 fighter jets left the U.S. this morning, bound for Egypt as part of a foreign aid package critics say should have been scrapped when the nation elected a president who has called President Obama a liar and urged that hatred of Jews be instilled in children.

A source who works on the naval air base in Fort Worth, Texas, confirmed the departure of the state-of-the-art fighter planes to FoxNews.com. Sixteen F-16s and 200 Abrams tanks are to be given to the Egyptian government before the end of the year under a foreign aid deal signed in 2010 with then-Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, a longtime U.S. ally.

Critics, including several in Congress, say it doesn't make sense to follow through with the package, given that new Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, elected last summer, has given decidedly mixed signals about relations with the U.S. While he has toned down his rhetoric since his election, in 2010 - the same year the aid package was struck - Morsi attacked Obama for supporting Israel.

“One American president after another — and most recently, that Obama — talks about American guarantees for the safety of the Zionists in Palestine," Morsi, then a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, said on Egyptian television in reaction to Obama's 2009 speech in Cairo. "[Obama] was very clear when he uttered his empty words on the land of Egypt. He uttered many lies, of which he couldn’t have fulfilled a single word, even if he were sincere — which he is not.”

The aggravating rest of the story here.

Shariah For Mali- British Islamists Protest French Embassy- video

MEMRI now has a video (see link below) of Islamist hate preacher Anjem Choudary and a bunch of other bearded bums demonstrating in front of the French Embassy in London protesting France's presence in Mali.

Several take the microphone, including Choudary, calling for a caliphate for Mali, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq and, well, Shariah for the whole darn world. There are the usual threats claiming that Western governments will have no choice but to accept the inevitability of Shariah, otherwise "they will find us on your own doorsteps, outside your own embassies." And promising us Western infidels that they have their eyes set on Paris, Brussels, London and they won't stop until the whole world is governed by Islam.

Yeah? Over my dead body.

Someone talks about how they do not accept democracy, and that Mohammed is their leader: "he is the messenger, he gave us glad tidings: that we will conquer, and we will lead, and will spread justice whether you like it or whether you don't like it."

Pretty strange form of "justice" when it's forced down someone's throat.

One French speaker describes the French involvement in France as an "act of terrorism" (even though it's the extremists who have been terrorizing the moderate Muslim Mali people),  and calls for the removal of all non-Muslims from Muslim lands.  How about removing these Muslim yahoos from non-Muslim lands and exporting them to countries where they will feel far more at home.

Watch the video here.

Coptic Christians Leaving Egypt In Droves

Coptic Christians in Egypt have always been persecuted to some extent, but fears of escalated violence against them under an Islamist-led regime, and a country that is turning ever more conservative, has them leaving the land of the pyramids in droves. Actually, according to this Telegraph UK article, even liberal Muslim families are getting the heck out of Dodge, and I don't blame them. Things might seem okay now, but when the country is firmly entrenched in Islamist ideology it's going to get much uglier for those who don't conform.

Coptic Christian churches in the United States say they are having to expand to cope with new arrivals, as priests in cities like Cairo and Alexandria talk of a new climate of fear and uncertainty.

"Most of our people are afraid," Father Mina Adel, a priest at the Church of Two Saints in Alexandria said. "Not a few are leaving - for America, Canada and Australia. Dozens of families from this church alone are trying to go too."

Father Mina's church has an important place in the history of the Arab Spring. It was struck by a car bomb on New Year's Eve 2010, Egypt's worst sectarian attack in recent decades, in which 23 people were killed.

After the bombing, liberal Muslim groups staged protests in support of Christians, printing posters showing the cross and the crescent interlinked which then went on to be symbols of inter-faith unity during the Tahrir Square protests three weeks later.

But the victory of the Muslim Brotherhood in parliamentary and presidential elections has changed the mood - particularly as the biggest opposition party is the even more hardline Salafist movement which wants strict Sharia law implemented.

"Salafis meet Christian girls in the street and order them to cover their hair," Father Mina said. "Sometimes they hit them when they refuse."

President Mohammed Morsi has promised to respect Christians' rights, and issued a New Year message insisting Egypt was "one homeland for all". But several Brotherhood leaders and clerics issued thinly veiled threats against them during protests in late 2012, accusing them of being part of a plot to overthrow the government.

The biggest change in attitudes has come since the passing of a new constitution giving Sharia law more prominence.

"With the new constitution, the new laws that are expected, and the majority in parliament I don't believe we can be treated on an equal basis," said a congregation leader in Cairo's Church of St Mary and St John the Baptist.

He said he knew a dozen families who had left already and 40 or 50 more friends who had applied - including, he added, liberal Muslim families who were also unhappy with the prospect of more restrictive laws.

The rest here.

Soon the Middle East will have no Christians, because they will  have been killed or emigrated to the West, which I'm sure is exactly what conservative Muslims in those countries want.
