U.S. Hikers Imprisoned In Iran Leftist Tools: Thank Hugo Chavez & Cindy Sheehan For Release

This is an interesting Wall Street Journal interview with James Kirchick, contributing editor at New Republic Magazine, about the two young American hikers (Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal) held as "Political Prisoners" in Iran for 2 years. Kirchick has some interesting notions about the young men based on some of their comments upon their release from prison, including comparing the U.S. with Iran, and thanking the usual lefty icons.
While neglecting to thank either President Obama or Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for helping secure his freedom, Mr. Bauer expressed gratitude toward Hugo Chávez, Sean Penn, Noam Chomsky and Yusuf Islam (formerly Cat Stevens).
Read Kirchick's article here: Wall Street Journal article.

And let's not forget Cindy Sheehan, who along with Muhammad Ali (and others) also got kudos. You can read their full statement here

Democratic National Convention- Haven For Moonbats and Misfits!

The Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Denver, Colorado commences today with the saviour of the world Barack Obama as the revered guest of honour. But in addition to Barry Hussein, his veep Joe "no-one wanted as Prez to begin with" Biden, the jilted Clintons (including daughter Chelsea) and other lefty notables, it looks like all the other usual suspects will be in attendance, as well. Yes, those career protesters who revel in the thought of having their posteriors dragged off to jail, because they have nothing better or more constructive to do with their lives; and most of whom are trying to relive the glory "give peace a chance" days of the 1960s. From aging hippies to young wannabees, to your generic lefties and typical anti-war activists, to anarchists and militant Blacks, Recreate68 is hosting a ragtag group of speakers and musical entertainment to demonstrate to the world their dissatisfaction with the U.S. as it is today. Although they claim that they are not looking to recreate the chaos and violence that erupted during the 1968 DNC, their decision to use "recreate68" as their motto, shows a clear lack of wisdom, typical of the left field.

And can anyone guess who is making a guest appearance as one of the speakers at the recreate68 protest-fest? Yes, indeedy, the Queen of the Moonbats herself, Mizz Cyndy Sheehan, is joining in all the fun. Did anyone truly think she would miss out on this photo op?!

Other lefty luminaries to speak at recreate68 are Green Party Presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney (yes, the former Democrat who beat the Capitol policeman in the chest back in 2006) and Green Party Vice Presidential candidate Rosa Clemente
along with
Ida Audeh, Palestinian refugee.
Kathleen Cleaver, Black Panthers.
Ward Churchill, anarchist, activist, former professor, author of the 2001 essay "Some People Push Back: On the Justice of Roosting Chickens" where he claimed we provoked the 9/11 attacks.
Mark Cohen, Chairman of Recreate 68.
Fred Hampton Jr., Prisoners of Conscience Committee.
Larry Hales, World Worker's Party, i.e. Communist.
Larry Holmes, Troops Out Now Coalition.
Ron Kovic, anti-war activist, veteran and author of "Born On The Fourth of July".
Glenn Spagnuolo, Recreate 68 Alliance.
Pamela Africa, MOVE Organization (anarchists)
King Downing, National Coordinator of the ACLU’s Campaign Against Racial Profiling.
Jenny Esquiveo, (Spokesperson for Eric McDavid, anarchist, in jail for conspiring to blow up corporate and government buildings in 1977.)
Mumia Abu Jamal, Recorded from Death Row (for the murder of a police officer). Former Black Panther activist.
Gloria Estela La Riva, Spokesperson for the Cuban Five (jailed for espionage).
Ricardo Romero, National Coordinator for the Mexican Liberation Organization.
Natsu Saito, Author, Activist, and Human Rights Scholar on Guantanamo Inmates.
Ann Erika White Bird, American Indian Movement Spokesperson.

The DNC should prove incredibly interesting, if nothing else, with this group of moonbats and misfits.

And I'm still not counting Hillary out!

Cindy Sheehan Hearts The Muslim Brotherhood

Did anyone really think that Cindy "Queen of the Me-Mes" Sheehan would stay out of the public spotlight for very long? It had been a while since her last publicity-seeking stunt, so I had actually (happily) forgotten about her. Until now. Not surprisingly, sheeee's baaaack, and in better idiotic form than ever.

Crawling out from under some rock, Sheehan headed over to Egypt, this past Wednesday, to protest the military trials of some 40 members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Now, don't get me wrong, I am by no means a fan of Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak, who was ranked number 17 in Parade's "2008 Top 20" list of the world's worst dictators. Mubarak happens to jail bloggers who are critical of him. Egyptian blogger, Kareem Amer, was sentenced to 4 years in prison, on February 22nd 2007, for “inciting hatred of Islam” and for defaming Mubarak, and has been languishing in jail ever since.

But defending the Muslim Brotherhood? The same Muslim Brotherhood whose credo is:

Allah is our objective.
The messenger
is our leader.
Quran is our law.
Jihad is our way.
Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.

and main objectives are:

1- Building the Muslim individual: brother or sister with a strong body, high manners, cultured thought, ability to earn, strong faith, correct worship, conscious of time, of benefit to others, organized, and self-struggling character .
2- Building the Muslim family: choosing a good wife (husband), educating children Islamicaly, and inviting other families.
3- Building the Muslim society (thru building individuals and families)and addressing the problems of the society realistically.
4- Building the Muslim state.
5- Building the Khilafa (basically a shape of unity between the Islamic states).
6- Mastering the world with Islam.

Note their 6th objective: "Mastering the world with Islam."

For anyone who might not understand the true meaning of that sentence, I'll translate: we want the whole world to be Muslim, just like us.

And for those of you who might not be aware, the Muslim Brotherhood is not just active in the middle east, it is a global movement that has branches in over 70 countries, including the U.S. They've been here since the 1960s, and although they'd like to consider themselves moderates, they are far from it.

So, rather than appealing to Egypt's first lady Suzanne Mubarak for clemency for people who truly deserve support, like Kareem Amer, Cindy Sheehan was out there demonstrating for the Muslim Brotherhood 40, with their ties to terrorism. Frankly, I'm not surprised considering she's had tête a têtes with fellow loon Hugo Chavez, further proving her discernment faculties are sorely lacking. But, she can now add another credit to her to her ever increasing resume' of colossal acts of stupidity!

Thank you Cindy for constantly entertaining us with your foolishness.

Sheehan threatens Pelosi: Impeach Bush or else!

Sheehan and Pelosi in better days

Did anyone really think Cindy Sheehan would fade so easily into oblivion? I knew the pull of 'fame' was far too intoxicating and addictive for her to ride off into the sunset of obscurity so quickly. Once a media ho, always a media ho. After she resigned, in a huff, from the Democratic Party and as poster-loon for the anti-war movement back in May, within a few days she jumped on the wacko 9/11 Conspiracy Theory bandwagon and now, she's baaaaaaack, even wackier than ever.

Sheehan's madder than heck and ain't gonna take it anymore. She's issued an ultimatum to Nancy Pelosi: Impeach Bush by July 23rd or she'll run against Madame Pelosi as an Independent in 2008! Says Sheehan:
"I would give her a run for her money." Although Sheehan has never held public office, she said she already has the name recognition and would not have to run against Pelosi in a primary."
Oooooooohhhhh scary, scary. Pelosi must be quaking in her boots. Then again, she could win. Stranger things have happened.Queen Sheehan and her minions will be arriving on July 23rd
"in Washington, D.C., after a 13-day caravan and walking tour starting from the group's war protest site near Bush's Crawford ranch."
If Pelosi has not filed impeachment articles by the time they arrive in D.C., she will announce her candidacy at that time.
"Sheehan, who turns 50 on Tuesday, said Bush should be impeached because she believes he misled the public about the reasons for going to war, [good grief, not this again!] violated the Geneva Convention by torturing detainees [but it's okay for the insurgents to torture, behead etc. soldiers AND civilians] and crossed the line by commuting the prison sentence of former vice presidential aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby. [as if Bush is the only President to ever pardon or commute a prison sentence] She said other grounds for impeachment are the domestic spying program and the "inadequate and tragic" response to Hurricane Katrina." [Oh yes, and Nagle and Blanco were not at fault, in any way]
She blames the Libby commutation for dragging her "kicking and screaming back in" to political activism. It doesn't take much, does it? Look, I can understand the woman's grief at losing a son, and my heart breaks for every person who has lost someone in this global war on terrorism, but her "peace-mom" motives are far from honorable. It seems Ms. Sheehan might be a tad anti-Israel, and I truly believe that it has become more about the glory of celebrity and not being validated in the way she sees fit, than a grieving mom's wish for an end to the Iraq War. She wrote a letter, in response to an episode of Nightline where she felt she was unfairly treated:
"Imagine my distress when I turned Night Line on last night and I was confronted with the gory details of my son's murder in Sadr City, Baghdad, Iraq on 04/04/04. Imagine, also, my sorrow and rage at the side of the story that you presented to the American public...........I was
on the Night Line Townhall Meeting in Washington, DC on 01/27/05. After I spoke (which I think was a fluke), Ted Koppel dismissed me as being "emotional." First of all, how can I approach this discussion without emotions, MY SON WAS KILLED, AND KILLED FOR LIES? Second of all, that show was not fair and balanced and I think the conclusion "Should we stay" was foregone."
Although she claims the person who forwarded this email to Nightline doctored her words, and denies that she ever said the following about Israel, there are leftist, anti-semitic sites that claim she did. And they would have no reason to lie.
"Am I emotional? Yes, my first born was murdered. Am I angry? Yes, he was killed for lies and for a PNAC Neo-Con agenda to benefit Israel.[huh? Guess that's another Conspiracy Theory] My son joined the Army to protect America, not Israel. Am I stupid? [yes! you are] No, I know full-well that my son, my family, this nation, and this world were betrayed by a George Bush who was influenced by the neo-con PNAC agenda after 9/11. We were told that we were attacked on 9/11 because the terrorists hate our freedoms and democracy...not for the real reason, becuase the Arab-Muslims who attacked us hate our middle-eastern foreign policy. [I assume she means our support of Israel] That hasn't changed since America invaded and occupied Iraq...in fact it has gotten worse."
So, would it have been okay if her son Casey had died had she not believed that Israel was a factor? The problem with most anti-Israel/anti-Semitic stooges is that they fail to realize that without democratic Israel in the midst of raging, Muslim-dominated territories that whole region would become an enclave of fundamentalist, hardline Islamic rule. Israel is a stabilizing force in that part of the world.

So, it looks like Cindy Sheehan is here for the long term, as I had predicted. She will always find some cause to glom onto to keep her in the media spotlight. For now, it looks like she's ready to duke it out with Pelosi. This should be fun!

Cindy Sheehan trades in her "anti-war" Queendom for the "9/11 Truther movement"

Well, I figured it wouldn't take long for someone so englamoured with the spotlight to find her way back to it, though I had no clue it would be this quick. People who are accustomed to attention, like actors, will always "find their light" (a stage term), otherwise they remain in obscurity.

Apparently, Cindy Sheehan has now jumped onto the 9/11 Truther bandwagon.

Paul Joseph Watson Prison Planet Thursday, May 31, 2007

Anti-war icon Cindy Sheehan has gone public on her support for the 9/11 truth movement after she told a radio show that the collapse of the twin towers looked like a controlled demolition and that there should be a new investigation into the terrorist attacks.

Sheehan, who made headlines this week after she distanced herself from the Democratic party and the establishment left, joined Alex Jones to share her views on her skepticism towards the official 9/11 story.

Sheehan said her decision to desert the Democrats was sparked last week when the Iraq war funding bill was passed and it was at this point she realized the Democrats had co-opted her simply to help them regain Congress and that they had no interest in ending the war.

Sheehan attacked Hillary Clinton as a "warhawk" and a "warmonger" and said there was very little distinction between her and John McCain or Rudy Giuliani.

On 9/11, Sheehan expressed her support for the Jersey Girl's petition, which calls for a new independent investigation of the terrorist attacks, slamming the 9/11 Commission Report as a "total travesty and a smokescreen."

"George Bush and Dick Cheney held hands and testified behind closed doors, not under oath," said Sheehan, adding, "There are many things that just don't add up on that day."

Sheehan questioned why U.S. air defenses were distracted by drills and exercises scheduled for the morning of 9/11 and why standard operating procedure for intercepting errant aircraft was not followed for the first and only time in history.

"When you lose control of an airplane, you intercept it with a military jet and that should only take seconds - from what I understand it's not even an order to do that it's mandatory," said Sheehan.

Speaking on the collapse of the twin towers, Sheehan stated, "It does look to me like a controlled demolition - I'm not an expert - but it does look to me like a controlled demolition - I'm looking at common sense."

"I do see some very high profile people saying it was an inside job," concluded Sheehan.

I knew she wouldn't fade so easily into oblivion. Now, she has another "project" she can focus on, which will continue to garner her the attention she so obviously needs.

Cindy "Queen of the anti-war movement" Sheehan calls it quits

Anyone want to buy 5 acres in Crawford, Texas? Cindy Sheehan, self-appointed poster-wacko for the U.S. anti-war movement, is selling cheap. She says she'll consider any reasonable offer.

Apparently, Ms. Sheehan has decided to call it quits (or so she says in a letter posted on Daily Kos), because she's no longer considered "the darling of the so-called left." Frankly, I was amazed to hear it, but she claims she's been "trashed on such "liberal blogs" as the Democratic Underground" ever since she "renounced any tie[s]......with the Democratic Party." Being vilified by the "Right" was fine, that just spurred her on, but "being called an "attention whore" and being told "good riddance", by the "Left", seems to have pushed her right over the edge. Betrayed by those who deified her in the past, she is now martyring herself by giving up on the cause that garnered her so much attention to begin with. So, Cindy Sheehan is resigning as "the "face" of the American anti-war movement."

Her disingenuous letter to the American people is so full of platitudes and self flattery, I have to wonder if it was actually motivated by a desire for more attention, or if she is truly resigning herself to the fact that, no matter how hard she tries, she, Cindy Sheehan, is not going to force the American government to do her bidding, just because she demands it.

She also bemoans the fact that she has depleted most of her financial resources: "I have spent every available cent I got from the money a "grateful" country gave me when they killed my son and every penny that I have received in speaking or book fees since then. Sacrificed a 29 year marriage and have traveled for extended periods of time away from Casey’s brother and sisters and my health has suffered and my hospital bills from last summer (when I almost died) are in collection because I have used all my energy trying to stop this country from slaughtering innocent human beings." She seems to be blaming the ungrateful people of America for all her woes, as if we asked her to devote all her time, money and energy on 'the cause'. This was her choice. The American people did not ask her to become "the face" of the anti-war movement.

I also find it offensive that rather than placing the blame where it rightfully belongs, on the insurgents in Iraq and their battle against democracy, she speaks of how this country "killed" her son and how "this country" is "slaughtering innocent human beings."

This woman, with her delusions of grandeur ends her letter with: "This is not my "Checkers" moment, because I will never give up trying to help people in the world who are harmed by the empire of the good old US of A, but I am finished working in, or outside of this system. This system forcefully resists being helped and eats up the people who try to help it. I am getting out before it totally consumes me or anymore people that I love and the rest of my resources.
Good-bye America ...you are not the country that I love and I finally realized no matter how much I sacrifice, I can’t make you be that country unless you want it. It’s up to you now."

Does this mean she won't be running for Congress? And if she no longer loves this country, maybe she can move to Venezuela. I'm sure her best bud, Hugo, would welcome her with open arms.

(Thanks Pat, for informing me about this letter)

Cindy Shee'has got to be kidding'han is considering a bid for Congress in 2008!

Remember when Cindy 'anti-war activist, Chavez-is-my-best-bud' Sheehan, considered running for U.S. Senate against Dianne Feinstein, D-CA, last year?

Well, guess what, she's considering running for office, once again, but the U.S. Congress, this time! She told Atlanta Progressive News that
“I’m on the National Board for the Progressive Democrats of America and they’re really trying to talk me into running for a Congressional Seat in 2008. It’s almost getting to the time to make my mind up by now. I do have the name recognition. I still can’t make my mind up on whether it would hurt the movement.”

And yes, Sheehan is still pushing for impeachment of Bush and Cheney. Sigh. At a post Mother's Day Peace rally, scheduled to start in front of Lafayette Park and end with a March to Congress, today, she mentioned that,
“One demand on Monday will be for people to co-sponsor H Res 333 [US Rep. Kucinich’s (D-OH) bill to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney]. They have to know they have popular support from the grassroots. We also need an effective campaign to target [US House Speaker] Pelosi and other Democratic leaders to put impeachment back on the table where it belongs. The grassroots is coming alive and I think it’s very exciting. I wish our politicians would come alive.”

Can you imagine Kucinich as Prez and Sheehan in Congress. God help us all!

Isn't her 15 minutes of fame up by now?

IDIOT DANNY GLOVER EMBRACES HUGO CHAVEZ

I didn't actually witness the scene but my Dad, who is a die-hard Democrat, did. Thankfully he isn't as hoodwinked by the left as some people, so he is in agreement that Chavez is an idiot, along with all the other idiots that have embraced him, both literally and figuratively. Let's see, Cindy Sheehan, Harry Belafonte to name a few.

What surprised me most was that 2 other idiots actually defended our President:
both Charlie Rangel and Nancy Pelosi actually defended Bush calling Chavez a "thug". Nice to see that they were able to set partisan politics aside and react as Americans not Democrats.

But going back to Danny Glover, a fellow actor, it just re-affirms my belief that actors, on the whole, are total idiots. I, obviously, do not include myself in that assessment, but for the most part we are. Although actors will delve into researching a part, when it comes to politics etc. they can't be bothered. Or don't have the brain resources to see the Truth. Not sure which. But.... it's hard to believe that there are leaders in this world like Chavez (in Venezuela) and Ahmadinejad (in Iran) that some people actually respect.

There's a great blog on Chavez from Venezuela. Check it out for everything you want to know about Chavez. Caracas Chronicles, there are posts both in English and Spanish.
