French Jihadists Want To Go Home Because Their iPods Don't Work

French ISIS jihadists are getting tired of Syria because their iPods are no longer working, or because they're being forced to perform menial tasks rather than getting some action, or because they don't know how to fight and are being sent to the front lines.

Or so they say.

"I'm fed up. My iPod doesn't work any more here. I have to come back," wrote one Frenchman, complaining about his mission to fight in Syria.

A series of letters from foreign militants seen by Le Figaro newspaper have given a rare glimpse into the lives of the fighters unhappy with their situation, with some begging for advice on how to return home.

Others are unhappy with the duties they have been given to carry out.

"I've basically done nothing except hand out clothes and food," wrote one, who wants to return from Aleppo, according to Le Figaro. "I also help clean weapons and transport dead bodies from the front. Winter's arrived here. It's begun to get really hard."

Another wrote: "I'm fed up. They make me do the washing up."

And another letter revealed how one man is being sent to the frontline, despite his apparent objection.

"They want to send me to the front, but I don't know how to fight."

It could be true- these Western-raised scumbags might be fed up- or it could be a ruse to be allowed to return to France so they can raise hell from the comfort of their homes. 100 have already gone back 76 of those are spending time in jail. There are still 376 or so jihadists from France in Syria.

So their i-Pods don't work. Well, boohoo.  Too bad. If they're not killed in Syria, they should all be jailed upon return.

The Connection Between Aussie Radical Islamists and Muslim Gangs/Criminals

Although it seems to be exclusively an Australian problem, there seems to be a connection between the Lebanese Muslim community gangs and criminal element, and easy recruitment of ISIS militants.

The children of refugees who fled Lebanon’s civil war for peaceful Australia in the 1970s form a majority of Australian militants fighting in the Middle East, according to about a dozen counter-terrorism officials, security experts and Muslim community members.

Of the 160 or so Australian militants believed to be in Iraq or Syria, several are in senior leadership positions, they say.

But unlike fighters from Britain, France or Germany, who experts say are mostly jobless and alienated, a number of the Australian fighters grew up in a tight-knit criminal gang culture, dominated by men with family ties to the region around the Lebanese city of Tripoli, near the border with Syria.

"Jihadi John" -James Foley's Beheader- Is Son Of Egyptian Terrorist On Trial In US

"Jihadi John", former rapper "L. Jinny" and the animal suspected of beheading journalist James Foley, is the son of  54-year-old Egyptian lawyer Adel Abdel Bary whose terrorism trial in New York is set to commence on November 3rd. He's standing trial for the 1998 American Embassy bombings in Tanzania and Kenya. 224 people lost their lives and over 4,000 were injured on August 7th- Americans and Africans. Bary had apparently been sitting in a UK prison since 1999 until he was extradited in 2012. Papa must be spitting mad that his son is following in his footsteps, considering Bary's lawyers are already worried that all this terrorism activity might adversely effect the outcome of his trial.

Abdel Abdul Bary’s lawyers say in order for him to receive a fair trial in New York, sensational references to terrorism must be eliminated from his case.

But that was before his son was named in reports by British newspapers as among those being looked at by investigators in the beheading of journalist James Foley.

Abu Anas al-Libi, who is also facing terrorism charges in N.Y. in connection with the 1998 bombings, had been free until he was nabbed in Libya last year.  Bary's lawyers want separate trials.

They warned that no amount of instructions to a jury “can erase from the minds of jurors the acts of Muslim-associated terrorism that took place” while Bary was detained and al-Libi was free.

“In the charged atmosphere of post 9/11 New York, in the shadow of the New Freedom Tower that by its grace only serves to highlight the absence of the twin towers, Mr. Bary would be substantially prejudiced by a joint trial” with al-Libi, the lawyers said.

Tough luck.

Now his son- 24-year-old Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary- is being investigated for beheading James Foley. But Foley isn't his first one.

 Earlier this year, he posted a picture of himself holding a severed head on Twitter after resurfacing in Syria, the Independent newspaper reported.

He had captioned the picture with: “Chillin' with my other homie, or what's left of him.”

His father was a lawyer-cum-terrorist, he lived in his parent's $1.7 million London home in affluent Maida Vale (though in his music he talks about his early life living in council flats), and he winds up fighting in Syria with some of the most barbaric Muslim militants the world has seen- ISIS.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, as they say.

French Mum Gets Fined For Son Jihad's "I Am A Bomb" T-Shirt

Remember Bouchra Bagour, the stupid French mum who went to trial- with her brother Zeyad- for sending her 3-year-old son Jihad to nursery school last September sporting a T-shirt with "I am a bomb" inscribed on the front, and "Jihad, born September 11" (which he was) on the back?

The T-shirt was apparently a gift from the kid's equally stupid uncle, and both were facing jail sentences and fines for "apologie de crime" (condoning, defending a criminal act).  Mommy claimed it was "tactless" but not a provocation, and Zeyad said he had no ulterior motives.

Well the verdict is in: they were both found guilty, but lucked out with suspended jail sentences, and a 2,000 euro fine for Bouchra, and 4,000 euro fine for Zeyad.

Who knows where the truth actually lies, but both were incredibly stupid to send the kid to school wearing something like that.

"Jihad" Spray Painted On Sound Barrier Off I-95 In Florida

Someone spray painted "jihad" in huge letters across one of the sound barriers off of I-95 in Delray Beach, Florida, and a fight ensues between two men: one who is offended, the other who claims there are no terrorists and that it's just a word.

They still have no clue who the culprits are.

Terrorist Summer Camp For Kiddies In Gaza

As Americans ship off their children to summer camp where Joey and Sally might learn some cool things in arts and crafts, swim, hike, enjoy some campfire sing-alongs along with roasted marshmallows, Gazan parents are shipping off Ahmed and Mustafa to terrorist-run summer camps. Those lucky kiddies will get to play with live ammunition and simulate kidnapping IDF soldiers, nothing new, apparently, since they get that in school. Hamas officials expect 100,000 or so young-uns to attend.

Hamas, the Islamic Jihad and the Popular Resistance Committees are all holding their own summer camp.

The Islamic group's leader in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh said the goal of the summertime activities is to instill children with values, strengthen their moral core and spread the spirit of Jihad.

Parents do have other choices.

UNHCR, UN's refugee agency, offers a summer camp centered on sports.

The agency said it expects some 150,000 children to attend its camps spread all along the coastal enclave. In previous years UNRWA's camp facilities were vandalized in protest for their instilling values incompatible with those of terror groups.

Mumbai Muslim Girls Organization Brainwashing Girls For Jihad?

Mumbai, India- Girls Islamist Organization part of Jamaat-e Islami Hind is apparently indoctrinating Muslim university and school girls for armed jihad, according to an internal police memo that got leaked to the public.

The organization, of course, wants an apology.  Not sure if they ever got one.

Trial For French Mom Who Sent Son "Jihad" To School In "I Am A Bomb" T-Shirt Wraps Up

Interesting case in Avignon, France.

35-year-old Bouchra Bagour (along with her brother Zeyad) could get up to five years in prison and fined £39,000 for sending Jihad (her 3-year-old son) to school sporting a T-Shirt inscribed with "I am a bomb" on the front, and on the back "Jihad, born September 11", which he was. Allegedly.

The charges: "apologie de crime" (condoning, defending crime)

Neither Bouchra or her 29-year-old brother Zeyad thought anything of sending a boy named Jihad to school in that T-Shirt. During her trial Bouchra said, yes it was "tactless", but not meant as a provocation. Zeyad, who purchased the shirt for the boy, said that he too had no ulterior motives, since the boy was born on 9/11.

"It's the day of his birth I wanted to highlight, not the year," he told the court, according to the BBC.

Prosecutors believe it's ".. a direct and scandalous reference" to terrorism.

It could be, or  just two incredibly stupid people.

What mother in the West, Arab-Muslim or not, would call her son Jihad, knowing full well the current connotation of that word?  An organization that has thrown its support behind Bouchra and Zeyad, the Movement Against Racism and for Friendship between Peoples (MRAP), has said Jihad is common in the Arab-Muslim world, and that it was all an "innocent joke", but Jihad is not common in the West.

I'm not sure what I think about jailing someone for stupidity, considering there are extremists in that country who do deserve to be jailed for truly condoning and inciting violence. We shall see how it all turns out on April 10, when the court is expected to rule in the judgement.

What I find interesting, is that one would expect a mother who calls her son Jihad to be conservatively dressed, which she's not. No hijab, niqab or burqa.

Does she deserve to be a parent, probably not. Who knows what else is going on in that home of hers. Hopefully, if they do get off, police will keep an eye on them. Just in case.

Lebanese Singer Sings of Martyrdom and Jihad

Most Christians and Jews aspire to help others, in some form or other. Then you have those whose goal is to martyr themselves, and kill others in the process.

Fadl Shaker, a Lebanese singer on Saudi TV, January 26, 2013 sings a cappela about jihad and martyrdom, because it's more appealing to kill than to help.

"I aspire to die as a martyr."

Wife of Al-Qaeda's Zawahiri Urges Muslim Women To Raise Their Kids For Jihad and Death-

Egyptian butcher physician Ayman al-Zawahiri, al-Qaeda's current head honcho, had one of his four wives (Umaima Hassan) make an on line appeal to the Muslim women of the world: birth them babies, mamas, so we can have an endless supply of suicide bombers.

But first of all Umaima commended them for their participation in the Arab Spring. Sure, why not congratulate them, after all the Arab Spring paved the way for an Islamist resurgence, right up al-Qaeda's alley.

"I congratulate all females of the world for these blessed revolutions and I salute every mother who sacrificed her loved ones in the revolutions. It is really an Arab Spring and will soon become an Islamic Spring."

Then comes the recommendation to raise those kids as shahids (martyrs):

"I advise you to raise your children in the cult of jihad and martyrdom and to instil in them a love for religion and death. Each woman would raise her child to be a new Saladin (a 12th century Kurdish general who defeated the Crusaders in battle) by telling him 'it is you who will restore the grandeur of the Islamic nation and you will liberate Jerusalem."

I'm glad she admits it's a cult. 

Oh, and don't forget those veils:

"The veil is the Muslim woman's identity and the West wants to remove this identity so she will be without an identity."

Zawahiri, who was second in command, took over al-Qaeda's leadership after Osama Bin Laden was dispatched to meet his maker.  I wonder if he's used any of his own kids as suicide bombers.

Imagine raising your children to love death, and inspiring them to murder others- all in the name of religion.

What a sick, perverse form of child abuse.

It's not Umaima's first appeal. Back in 2009 she was recruiting women to fight. I guess they're  more valuable as breeding machines.

"Obama We Are All Osama" Chant 1000s of Tunisian Salafists At Rally

Thousands of Salafi Muslims gathered in Tunisia in a bizarre 'show' of force, at an Ansar Al-Sharia event on May 20. It seems they wanted to send a message to the world that jihad is great and they're coming- for us, I presume.

And they definitely don't like Barack Obama. At the beginning of the video we hear them chanting "Obama, Obama, we are all Osama". Like that isn't quite obvious enough.  Ironic, since other than giving the go-ahead to kill Osama Bin Laden - a terrorist - Obama has been a champion of Muslim causes. Then again, these ordinary Tunisians (some bearded, some not) obviously have terrorist sympathies, which just makes them terrorists, too.

Then Tunisian cleric Mokhtar Jbeli starts preaching:

"Some Tunisians and some Muslims are afraid of the jihadist. We must ask: how come? Because the enemies have distorted the image of the jihadists, presenting them as the enemies of the Muslims. We say: no! Every Muslim is a jihadist. The enemies of Islam want us to be like sheep, to act like women. They want to deprive us of our will. They plundered Palestine, and other lands and holy places. They want jihadists behind bars. Why? So that the holy places will not be liberated. We are all jihadists, supporting Jerusalem and elevating the word of Allah. Let us all cry "Allah Akbar" together, so that Obama the ape can hear us. All together now! Say "Allah Akbar.! Allah Akbar!" Let America hear us. "Allah Akbar!'

That goes on for a while, and then shouts of "We are coming! We are coming!"

More Allah Akbars, and "Hear us Obama! Say Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar!"

The video switches to a wussy, ninja fight demonstration, and to the obligatory threats to Jews. "Khaybar, Khaybar, oh Jews, the army of Mohammed is returning."

At the end some other speaker says: "We wan to convey a clear message, one that will reach the heavens. Say Allah Akbar!"

We don't want you to act like sheep or women, Mokhtar, we just want you to act civilized. And yes, we want jihadists behind bars, so you can't go around blowing people up.

And they wonder why some in the West have a problem with Islam?

Afghan Taliban Asks Muslim World To Donate To Their Jihad Fund

The Taliban in Afghanistan have gone hi-tech. Though they might be hiding out in caves on the Pakistan/Afghanistan border, they actually have their own dedicated website, Voice of Jihad, that primarily serves as a means of reporting and glorying in all the infidel casualties that they're responsible for.  VOJ also has a  forum where you can 'ask a Taliban' a question.  But that's not all, they also have two email addresses (gmail and yahoo), and two cell phone hotlines where you can donate money to the cause. Yes, apparently they are in "desperate" need of funds to continue their jihad against the "infidel invaders" and the masses of fellow Afghans who just so happen to be in the way.

According to their on-line appeal:

This Islamic land is in the tyrannical grip of the combative infidel enemy, posing the greatest threat to the entire Muslim world.

As a result, in the light of Islamic sharia, all Muslims everywhere are duty-bound to join the Jihad with money and soul.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan which stood up with Muslim Ummah’s physical and financial support, are still waging legitimate Jihad single-handedly with mere help from common sincere Islam-loving masses and is in dire need of financial assistance from the Muslim brothers worldwide for its military and non-military expenditures.

What may come as surprise, well worthy of mention, is the fact that the Jews and Christians in order to prolong and win the prevailing war on the ground, keep raising and collecting funds from their people in every corner of the world and calling on meetings and conferences for the very purpose.

Similarly, the Muslims, too, out of their true spirit of faith are not to forget their Muslim brothers defending and upholding the truth in Afghanistan and extend a helping hand in the form financial aid in the same way as they take part in Jihad physically.

Thus, save yourself from a greater hardship in the Hereafter and protect yourself against hellfire.

There is no life worth living except the life of the Hereafter and our hereafter depends on our present.

Let us save up for our Hereafter by doing our share of Jihad responding to the call of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and offer our monetary aid and donation to the financial officials of the Islamic Emirate so that it may be used to meet the requirements of the Jihad and Mujahideen fighting the invading forces on the ground in appropriate ways.

Yes, Virginia, Al-Qaeda Exists- Latest Issue Of Al-Qaeda's 'Inspire' Magazine

There are actually fools who don't believe that Al-Qaeda exists, or that it's a CIA fabrication. I personally know some of them, and those same people believe 9/11 was a conspiracy.  I'm not quite sure who they think rammed those planes into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, and what entities are responsible for all the ongoing violence and savagery.  But  they refuse to acknowledge that evil exists in the form of religious Islamic extremism, and would rather blame the U.S. government (mostly under G.W. Bush's tenure) for all the ills of the world. 

I guess they haven't seen Al-Qaeda's slick online English language magazine, Inspire, downloadable from the various jihadi sites that post it.  The latest issue (#7) that Blazing Catfur downloaded and posted here, is worth a look, for all the doubters.  Then again, I'm sure they will claim it too is a fabrication.

Not sure what will happen with future issues since Anwar Al-Awlaki was offed, as Inspire was his pet project, but I'm sure someone will carry on the legacy.  There will always be another roach looking for his 72 virgins, or willing to inspire others to get their 72.

Hezbollah Training Mexican Drug Cartels Across Our Borders

There is reason to believe that Lebanese Hezbollah is stockpiling arms and training drug cartels in Mexico.  The ties aren't all that surprising, since there's certainly no difference between narco terrorism and Islamist terrorism in terms  of the violence.  The similarities in brutality and barbarism are astounding. 

So now, not only do we have to contend with the drug violence on our borders, we have  Islamists waiting for easy entry.

A Lesson From An Extremist On How To Counter Counter-Terrorism

There are two ways to look at dealing with the radical Islamist websites that pop up like big, pus-filled pimples on the face of the Internet. First of all, one can do one's best to shut them down, knowing full well that they will re-emerge somewhere else in the bowels of the World Wide Web; or you can leave them alone, so that you can monitor what is going on in their sick little jihadist heads. I tend to favor the latter since knowing where your enemies are and what they are up to is far more profitable then not knowing what the scum are thinking and planning. Knowledge is power, as they say.

So, when RevolutionMuslim.com was down (though it seems to be back up in all it's sickening glory) I did some googling and came across their blogger blog. While doing some digging there, I discovered another blog that their "South Park" PDF article was linked to: The Mujahid Blog . There's just one post by the same slug that wrote the "South Park" diatribe, this time instructions on how to counter, counter terrorism. It's fascinating in as much as it describes exactly the tactics that most jihadists use. So much for CAIR's asinine comment about RevolutionMuslim being an anti-Islam conspiracy, and Obama's equally asinine choice to ban the use of jihad and terrorism from our vernacular.

Bismillah,

In sha'a Allah I will keep these things going with beneficial points for countering counter terrorism efforts. There are some things that obviously will not be said, because only a few people need to know them and it is harmful for CT officials to have a heads up on what is going on. However, there are some things which they already know, or which they cannot do anything about, or which the Muslims have significantly greater capabilities to counteract anything CT officials can come up with.

As things stand, we are currently dominating nearly every front in this war, but we are neglecting the true potential of this movement by allowing it to continue with almost no direction whatsoever. Al-Qa'ida does what they can to direct things, but it is not so easy when you are fighting a physical war at the same time. Also, we are much more aware of our own situation than they are, simply due to the fact that we are here and they are fighting jihad already.

Anyway, here begins the first set of points:

Anytime the kuffar have something which is perceived as a success it must be hidden:

In the event of the death of a leader we need to focus on things such as martyrdom and putting our trust in Allah. We should bring to light the fact that the greatest commander of all, salaa Allahu 'alayhi wa salam, died and left this Ummah in the most desperate situation it could possibly be in. They were against far greater odds than we are today.

We should not publish their media which is negative on our forums and websites. Even if it is the only source making a certain claim, and we know it is true, then we should not post it.

If a large number of mujahideen die, then we should mention how two or more people from their friends and families will take their places. Also, we should treat this in a similar manner to the death of a leader. This is only in the event of a large catastrophe.

Rather than saying someone died we should say that he/she embraced martyrdom in sha'a Allah.

* These stories can also be hidden by drawing people's attention to other successes of the mujahideen. However, unless we control the major newspapers and television programs, then outright "hiding" these stories will not work.

Successes of the mujahideen must be emphasized:

* Have we forgotten how beardless men and hijabless women were dancing in the streets on September 11th?

* We need to spread their success stories, articles, and videos massively. The kuffar need to see them as well, so that they are demoralized.

* We should use terms like, "5 Western pigs sent to Hellfire in sha'a Allah." There needs to be a clear bias in every story. This is why they call mujahideen who are clearly not insurgents "insurgents." It is to say, "These are the bad guys." That is also why the mujahideen use the words, "puppets," "apostates," and others.

Unbiased journalism is a myth and we should not seek to operate by it. It is extremely effective at getting a kafir to be against a war if he sees a dead body of his countryman and is told that he is in a ditch from Hellfire in sha'a Allah. It might get a bad reaction, but they will eventually feel like they are losing and nobody likes to lose.

* Make sure you publish the truth. Lies are counterproductive. Do not invent successes like the kuffar do. If you do this it might build temporary momentum, but it will eventually backfire when it is shown to be false.
Kill the sympathy factor:

* There can be absolutely no sympathy shown for dead kuffar. Even if the attack was clearly wrong, we should still emphasize that the kuffar who died will be in Hellfire and that they will never come out in sha'a Allah. If an attack is completely wrong we should say so, but we should defend the Muslim who carried it out. We should bring up the issue of his intentions and how people are forgiven for ignorance in sha'a Allah.

* Videos of kuffar dying should be spread. Death is an extraordinarily powerful image. There is nothing stronger in killing one's sympathy for the enemy than seeing him die enough times that there is no longer a "shock factor."

* This is not to say that we should not have mercy toward the disbelievers. One should not kill their humanity in this. We should look to the Sunnah and find the correct approach from there. We should not be rude to the kuffar and insult them. This is not the same thing as killing the sympathy factor. If you want to insult the kuffar then do so in a clever way where the wit can be appreciated.

* Publish statistics of how many Muslims have been killed by the kuffar and use the highest estimates from credible sources. Do not cite just violent deaths from the war in Iraq, but count those who lost their food, medicine, and shelter. Also, count those who died from depleted uranium and other toxins. The total impact of the actions of the kuffar must be known and spread.

* There are obviously different levels of killing the sympathy factor that should target different groups of people. The Muslim who still has a Barack Obama sticker on his/her backpack is not the target audience for a video of kuffar being mowed down by mujahideen.

Emphasize unpopular actions of the kuffar:

* Whenever a kafir does something wrong, then it should be emphasized. This ranges from silly statements that make them sound stupid (Bush had a lot more of these) to intentionally bombing civilians, these things need to be emphasized.

* Use only embarrassing photos of the kuffar when you can. How much different is it when the kuffar show the image of Khalid Shaykh Muhammad with no beard and disheveled than it is when they show him at peace with his long beard and nice clothing?

* Always label their "aid" as simply tools of imperialism. Point out how they drop bombs on a town and pass out free lunches to the survivors whose families they butchered the previous day. Show how it is American farmers who benefit the most. Show how most countries are actually harmed by American development aid in the long term.

* Emphasize drone attacks and the use of mercenaries.

* Show the kuffar disrespecting Islam and the Muslims. Forexample there is a large group of idiots who write "kafir" on their uniforms and weapons. This should be spread and explained.
Emphasize actions of the mujahideen which nobody disagrees with:


* Show images of them handing out zakat and publish articles about it. Show them taking people to hospitals and defending their families. Show the building of houses and schools. Mention how the mujahideen really are not against girls schools and how they actively work toward them.

* Use images which are the best looking. We should not use images which are awkward for the mujahideen.

* Mention areas in which the mujahideen were successful before the invasions, but which are problems now. For example, the poppy fields were almost non-existent in 2001. Now Afghanistan is destroying numerous countries with opium.

This is nowhere near complete and in sha'a Allah this is just a starting point. Many of these things are policies of the kuffar which we are not implementing or we are not implementing intentionally. All of these are things which anyone can do. We outnumber counter terrorism officials by millions, so as long as we evolve our methods and finetune them, then, in sha'a Allah, we will always outdo them. A Ph.D. does not make up for a righteous cause and a dedicated base. Those are our two advantages. We should use them. Allah is on our side so long as we are striving in His Path.

Wife of CIA Bomber Very Proud Hubby Was A Martyr And Killed 8 People

How sick and pathetic someone would actually be proud that her husband was a suicide bomber, but Defne Bayrak, Turkish wife of the Jordanian CIA bomber Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi, double agent supreme, is definitely proud. Proud that her husband played God and killed 8 people including a fellow Muslim, a Jordanian intelligence officer. Proud that he was what she considers a martyr, but who is actually nothing more than a vile murderer. Speaking with journalists in her black chador from somewhat-secular, becoming-less-so, Turkey she said,

"I am proud of my husband. He carried out a great operation in this war. I hope Allah will accept his martyrdom, if he has become a martyr," Defne Bayrak told reporters in Istanbul, where she lives.

"I am not ashamed. He did this against the American occupation" of Afghanistan, she said, the Turkish news agency Anatolia reported.

Let's face it, this has nothing to do with the "occupation" of Afghanistan or anywhere else for that matter, it's all about supporting al-Qaeda and terrorism, since the 8 victims were in a battle against al-Qaeda and terrorism. And she's absolutely right, it is a war- against terrorism and radical Islam - though many people are too afraid to call it what it is.

As for his martyrdom? I've always wondered what happens to married Muslim jihadis, do they also get the 72 virgins when they martyr themselves? I had the impression that was just for the young, stupid, unmarried kids who are so repressed during this life time the only thing they have to look forward to is their 72 virgins. Perhaps if modern Islam banned that from the Qran, we would have fewer men sign up to blow themselves to bits. And come to think of it, what do the female suicide bombers get? Nothing? That's certainly not fair, then again, Islam isn't very fair to women.

It always amazes me how educated men and women come to be jihadists. Al-Balawi was a medical doctor, Bayrak has a journalism degree and has written and translated books.

It's sad what religious fanaticism can do to individuals.

Taliban Should Join Afghan Forces Says NATO's Brit General Barrons

NATO's Senior British Major General Richard Barrons has suggested that the Taliban must be allowed to join Afghan forces (police or army), if they make nice with the Afghan government. Is this man on crack? Or am I totally missing something here, because the idea is absolutely, categorically insane. That's all our men and women need in Afghanistan. It's hard enough for them- living under horrendous conditions in a barren, hostile land- but to actually have the enemy within their camp, not knowing which one might pull a gun and shoot you in the head is not an added pressure they need to deal with. The Taliban are not our friends, they are not to be reasoned with. They are insane, religious fanatics who, when push come to shove, are going to chose Mohammad and Allah over some crusading infidel, and the sooner our leaders (both military and political) come to terms with that perhaps something might get accomplished in that God-forsaken land.

It's not like infiltration hasn't happened before.

In two separate incidents last week, a Taliban bomber wearing a military uniform and a suicide vest entered a base in Khost and blew himself up inside the gym, killing eight Americans thought to be CIA officers, and an Afghan soldier killed a member of the US forces and wounded two Italian soldiers when he opened fire at an army base in western Afghanistan. In November, a rogue Afghan policeman shot dead five British soldiers while serving alongside them.

Fighting alongside people when you have no clue whether they're friend or foe is not a good idea, no matter how great the general thinks it might be. He is also talking about making sure the Taliban are given senior positions in Hamid Karzai's government. Well, isn't that just peachy. First it's a few, then a few more and eventually they take over the Afghan government because like the idiots in Gaza who voted for Hamas, the people will vote in the Taliban- even if it's out of fear and intimidation. Or they'll just co-opt the government through a coup, because there is no democracy under extremist rule.

And Nato is apparently willing to spend a bunch of money on these Taliban soon-to-be Afghan soldiers and police officers.

He spoke as the coalition prepares to spend millions of pounds on jobs and training for Taliban footsoldiers if they agree to lay down their arms. The schemes is designed complement Barack Obama's 30,000-strong troop reinforcement surge, which begins in earnest in the New Year.

Okay, so let me get this straight, they're supposed to lay down their arms, which will then be replaced with NATO-approved arms? Great, so now the Taliban parading around as NATO troops will have more targets to choose from. It'll be far easier to massacre the 30,000 new U.S. troops that are about to enter the fray. How about adding more NATO troops from other countries, so they can get massacred too? They'll be like sitting ducks.

For some reason Barrons thinks NATO can negotiate with the Taliban and that the fight is not ideological but more a lack of prospects.

The general said this year's push led by the senior Nato and US commander, Gen Stanley McChrystal, would include Afghan-led efforts to persuade Taliban to give up their fight.

Eight years on, coalition commanders have accepted that military might alone will not end the increasingly bloody insurgency. They do however, believe the majority of fighters are open to negotiation if they can be given an alternative.

Gen Barrons, who discusses previous insurgencies with a scholarly air, said most Taliban were motivated not by entrenched ideology but by lack of money and jobs, local grievances, or a sense of injustice at government corruption.

I hate to disillusion him but it's mostly about ideology. I'm sure lack of money and jobs probably doesn't help the situation, but bottom line is they want Afghanistan to revert back to Taliban governance. And that's exactly what will happen if they are allowed to reintegrate into Afghan society. When are they going to open their eyes and realize that? In the meantime, if they do integrate Taliban fighters into Afghan forces, we can expect a lot more tragedies like we have seen recently.

Jihad A Family Affair- Wife of al Qaida's #2 Henchman Calls On Women To Join Jihad

How heart-warming, Jihad is becoming a family affair. Al Qaida has been recruiting men and their male children, and now their wives are being called into action by none other than the wife of Osama Bin Laden's number 2 henchman, Ayman al-Zawahiri. So now, instead of being asked to stand by their men by giving birth to and raising Jihadi babies and donating money, the women are being asked to join in the fun. Although unverified, Umaima Hassan posted her message on the internet- apparently the first time an al Qaida wife has encouraged others to fight and/or blow themselves up- telling women it was an "obligation" to fight. She did add that it would challenging since

"Fighting is not easy for women, because she needs a male guardian at her side."

I guess making it a family project would deal with that issue quite well.

NBC News counterterrorism analyst, Evan Kohlmann, said Umaima

wrote specifically of "martyrdom" and "how many sisters carried out a martyrdom operation in Palestine, Iraq and Chechnya, and caused the enemy high costs and caused the enemy a big defeat. We ask from Allah to accept them and connect us with them with goodness."

Kohlmann seems to think there might be a shortage of jihadi fighting machines, hence the call for female participation. My question is, if women go off to fight, who is going to raise the next generation of jihadis? Not that I care. Maybe Umaima and the whole family (along with all her friends and relatives) will strap on bombs and get blown up together. That would solve the al Qaida problem quite nicely.

The Swedish Red Cross recently condemned Israel for targeting an ambulance in the Gaza Strip.

But look carefully at this video, and you will understand why the Israeli military might target an ambulance.

Not that this is anything new.

Just another Hamas dirty trick, like hiding behind children and women's hijabs. Or shooting rockets from schools, mosques or hospitals.
