EPA Head Lisa Jackson Invited To Justice Sandra Day O'Connor's Anti-Mining Fete

Former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor apparently hosted an event last night featuring conservationists, activists, commercial fishermen and others in Alaska opposed to a multi-national gold mine planned near Bristol Bay. What this group of people oppose is the potential pollution that an open-pit mine could create. And understandably so, considering Bristol Bay has a huge salmon run. Polluting waters in Bristol Bay could be harmful to the whole salmon industry. However, what has many up in arms is the fact that O'Connor's guest-of-honor was none other than the EPA's head honcho Lisa Jackson. Doesn't seem quite kosher.
