Tunisian Islamist Organization Wants To Legalize Polygamy

Polygamy is illegal in Tunisia, but Tunisian Islamists want to change that because one wife just isn't enough. Besides, it's un-Islamic not to allow polygamy.

Adel Elmi, who is head honcho of what used to be the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, and is now called Tunisian Moderate Association for Awareness and Reform claims:

“Sanctioning polygamy is a popular demand now in Tunisia.”

The "moderate" in the organization's new name is a major joke, considering there is nothing moderate about wanting to establish shariah law in what used to be a somewhat secular country. A country that in the mid-1950s banned polygamy, outlawed forced marriages for underage girls, raised the marriage age to 17, and made it easier for women to divorce. But not only does he want to legalize polygamy, he wants any laws that are not Islamic in nature to be abolished.

The ruling Islamist Ennahda Party has promised women will not lose their rights, but Tunisian women's rights activists are very concerned, and with good reason, even though Elmi has said that the first wife will have "to approve before her husband is allowed to remarry”. How progressive is that.

According to Radia al-Nasrawi, a lawyer and activist, there is already a member of the Ennahda party that has bucked the polygamy ban by having two wives.

"He had a wife in Tunisia then married another in exile and brought her with him when he got back,” Nasrawi said.

Nasrawi added that the first wife filed a lawsuit against him with the court of Nabeul in northeastern Tunisia, but no measures have been taken against him so far.

We'll see whether Ennahda keeps its promise, or whether Tunisia becomes the Islamic Republic of Tunisia, down the road.

Banning Words: State Dept and NYC Dept Of Education Want To Ban Words and Phrases That Are "Racist"

Every once in a while someone gets a p.c. bug up their proverbial posterior and decides certain words or phrases need to be banned for some asinine reason or other. The New York City Department of Education thinks it would be a great idea to do away with certain words used in standardized tests like, dinosaur, birthday and dancing; in fact there are 50 or so similar and totally innocuous words they want to ban because they might somehow make a kid or two feel bad.

The word “dinosaur” made the hit list because dinosaurs suggest evolution which creationists might not like, WCBS 880′s Marla Diamond reported. “Halloween” is targeted because it suggests paganism; a “birthday” might not be happy to all because it isn’t celebrated by Jehovah’s Witnesses.
You won't believe some of the others they would like removed.

And then you have Scotland Yard that banned the word "blacklist" because it's racist.

Now the U.S. State Department is calling for a ban on certain words and phrases it deems racist, like "holding down the fort", because according to the Department's Chief Diversity Officer, John M. Robinson, "holding down the fort" is actually:

.. the linguistic equivalent of scalping a Cherokee? According to Robinson, the phrase dates back to American soldiers on the western frontier who wanted to “hold down” all that land they stole.
Well, who knew.

And here's more words and phrases Robinson would like to see eliminated:

“Handicap” and “rule of thumb” are two more figures of speech that Robinson, in his wisdom, has decreed offensive. The latter, Robinson says, refers to the width of a stick a man could once use to legally beat his wife.

But, get this, according to the Daily Caller Robinson hasn't a clue if any of the "etymologies" are based on truth.
“Much has been written about whether the etymologies below are true or merely folklore, but this isn’t about their historical validity,” Robinson writes. “[I]nstead, it is an opportunity to remember that our choice of wording affects our professional environment.”
Okay.

Some other phrases that he feels should be verboten:

“going Dutch” is a reference to Netherlanders’ apparently well-known parsimoniousness, and that your widowed neighbor, sweet old Mrs. Rasmussen, cries every time she hears you use it?

Pretty soon there will be no words or phrases left in the English language that are non-offensible. Maybe we should all just grunt, but then someone would come along and ban grunting because it's offensive to pigs.

This p.c. b.s. really needs to stop.

Joke of The Day- Mr. Scam Man - Anti-Obama Song Parody

Dan Roberts sings "Mr Scam Man", an anti-Obama parody sung to the tune of "Mr Sand Man".

Yahoo News Fires Bureau Chief David Chalian For Asinine Remark About The Romneys

Bye-Bye David Chalian, the Washington bureau chief for Yahoo News, who was caught on tape joking about Mitt and Ann Romney "They are not concerned at all. They are happy to have a party when black people drown", referring to Hurricane Isaac making landfall during the RNC.

What an asinine thing to say, as if the RNC had any control over where and when  the hurricane hit.

Yahoo's statement:

“David Chalian’s statement was inappropriate and does not represent the views of Yahoo!. He has been terminated effective immediately. We have already reached out to the Romney campaign, and we apologize to Mitt Romney, his staff, their supporters and anyone who was offended.”

David Chalian's apology on his Facebook page:

I am profoundly sorry for making an inappropriate and thoughtless joke. I was commenting on the challenge of staging a convention during a hurricane and about campaign optics. I have apologized to the Romney campaign, and I want to take this opportunity to publicly apologize to Gov. and Mrs. Romney. I also regret causing any distraction from the exceptional coverage of the Republican convention by Yahoo News and ABC News.

I bet he is.

What happened to unbiased journalism.

Obama Posts Tribute To Neil Armstrong With Picture Of Obama

Obama loves Obama, that's quite obvious. But never more so than his tribute to the passing of the legend of space travel Neil Armstrong this past Friday.  Rather than post one of the iconic photos of Armstrong's moon walk, Barack Obama posted on the Obama-Biden Tumblr page this artsy photo of himself staring  into space, a crescent moon in the night sky, with the following words:

Neil’s spirit of discovery lives on in all the men and women who have devoted their lives to exploring the unknown—including those who are ensuring that we reach higher and go further in space. That legacy will endure—sparked by a man who taught us the enormous power of one small step.

—President Obama on the passing of Neil Armstrong

Ironic coming from a president who effectively killed the possibility of going further into space.

Radical Islamists To Hold Jummah Prayers At DNC

The Republicans were all too happy to have Catholic Cardinal Timothy Dolan say a little prayer at their delegate prom, as I like to call the Republican and Democratic National Conventions. But so as not to ruffle feathers he also offered to say benediction at the DNC which takes place September 3rd through 6th. He never heard back. But guess what one of the official pre-convention events is going to be?    Jumah at the 2012 DNC.That's right, on the preceding Friday (August 31st) there will be two hours worth of Muslim prayers hosted by The Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs, (BIMA). Bima is described as a non-profit, non-partisan organization:

...designed to serve and facilitate the efforts of Islamic organizations and Institutions in their endeavors as well as spread awareness about Indigenous Muslim issues. BIMA’s purpose in rallying large numbers of Muslims to participate in this event, Jumah at the DNC, is to make the general public aware that the Muslim community is a healthy and vibrant component to the American society. This platform is non-partisan; meaning that it is not an endorsement of any political candidate or elected official. It is intended to address the concerns and issues that are challenging to the American Muslim citizens in the 21st century.

Non-partisan? Are they holding anything similar at the RNC? A few small ones but those I'm sure are more protests than prayer events. Now I have no problem if the DNC wants to have someone from every faith participate in some sort benediction, but why snub the Catholics? That did change, however, and Dolan will now give the closing benediction, but what was up with that?  Muslim yes, Catholic no?  BIMA wants  a large showing - and 20,000 are expected- to ensure that Muslims do not become marginalized, and to deal with issues including the infamous "Islamophobia", The Patriot Act and anti-Shariah sentiment.

But not all Muslims are thrilled about two of the leaders of the event. Though most are in denial about the radical element in their midst, some are well aware, and what they have to say is very troubling.  According to The Blaze:

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, a devout Muslim and the Founder and President of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, wrote:
The leaders of this event – Jibril Hough and Imam Siraj Wahhaj [are not] moderates. They are radicals. These individuals embrace Islamist supremacy and have demonstrated support for radical ideologies.
Jasser goes on to say:
A quick Google search by the DNC would have shown them that Hough and Wahhaj are leaders in the separatist American Islamist movement. While they may be able to get a few thousand Muslims to attend the event, they are NOT going to be mainstream Muslims.  Most will likely come from Hough and Wahhaj’s radical networks that have long been entrenched in the Charlotte area. Make no mistake they are part of the Islamist movement. This is not about their right of assembly; this group under a different name pulled the same stunt at the US capitol in 2009 claiming 20k and getting 2-3k. THIS IS ABOUT the DNC calling this an “official function” listing these radicals as typical of the DNC community and more importantly about this organization speaking out AS representing supposedly typical American Muslims (or “Mainstream”).  If that is who the DNC is consorting with then all Americans, Democrats should be concerned. There are many patriotic Muslims who are part of both parties, and when radical ideologues like this do a demonstration of “solidarity” in the name of our faith and choose an imam like Siraj Wahhaj who I saw with my own eyes in 1995 seditiously say it his duty and our duty as Muslims to replace the US Constitution with the Quran- then we need to speak up!
Read the rest of his commentary here.  Thankfully there are those like Jasser who speak up, but not enough.  You might remember him as the voice of reason and narrator of The Third Jihad.

Ron Paul Says 9/11 Wouldn't Have Happened On His Watch

Ron Paul is truly an idiot. His naivete would get us all killed. Thank GOD, as I predicted, he would not win the nomination.

How can anyone take this man seriously??!! Really, how?  9/11 wouldn't have happened had he been in charge?  How dare he!

This man is as enamored of himself, and deified by his supporters, as Obama is/was.

GEICO Fired Drill Sgt Lee Ermey For Criticizing Obama

Just to prove that I am fair and balanced I'm going to weigh in on the latest GEICO firestorm.

In April, 2010 GEICO fired Lance Baxter aka D.C. Douglas for calling Tea Party members "retarded". He stupidly left that message on the answering service of FreedomWorks, along with his name and phone number. There was enough outrage that he was fired. I explained in a post back then the reasons why this might happen:

When you represent a product, even if it's just your voice, you're the face (or voice, in this case) of that company, and anything you do reflects on said company. You certainly don't want to make them look bad, and you definitely do not go around acting badly without suffering the consequences. Not necessarily because the company disagrees with your actions, but there are enough people in this country who might, and they'll have your ass.

Yes, it's censorship, but it's their product, and ultimately their right to censure those who 'represent' their product, even if that means firing.

Jump ahead 2 years, and we discover GEICO  fired someone else for being political, but this time it was a conservative. According to drill sergeant Lee Ermey- of "Full Metal Jacket" fame- he told TMZ that he was fired for criticizing Obama (see video below). He claims he apologized but that wasn't enough. He then went on to say that:

"If you're a conservative in this town, you better watch out."
Yeah, that's very true, but in this case I think it was simply the bottom line.

If you want to be a spokesperson or represent a particular  'product', you need to keep your mouth shut about politics.

Karzai Calls Beheading 17 Villagers For Partying "Irresponsible"

The Afghan Taliban were at their barbaric best this weekend after they beheaded 17 people for partying in Southern Afghanistan, because dancing to music, especially with the opposite sex, is just so evil it warrants hacking off someone's head.

Taliban insurgents beheaded 17 civilians, including two women, who were holding a party with music in a southern Afghanistan village, officials said Monday.
The atrocity drew immediate condemnation from the commander of NATO’s military force in Afghanistan, the United Nations, the U.S. and Britain.
“I can confirm that this is the work of the Taliban,” the Helmand provincial governor’s spokesman Daud Ahmadi told AFP, referring to Islamists notorious during their rule for public executions and the suppression of music and parties.
“Two women and 15 men were beheaded. They were partying with music in an area under the control of the Taliban,” he said.
Nematullah Khan, the Musa Qala district chief confirmed that the villagers had organized a party with music, and one local official said he suspected that the two women had been dancing.

After calling for an investigation, Afghan President Hamid Karzai had this to say:

"This attack shows that there are irresponsible members among the Taliban."

Irresponsible? That's it? Perhaps the word was lost in translation but hacking off the heads of 17 people is a tad more than irresponsible.

Sad to say, that country is a lost cause.

COSTCO Goes Halal

COSTCO is now offering an halal family-sized portion of Chicken Tikka Masala to some West Coast stores. I suppose if they have Kosher foods they are going to cater to the demands of the Muslim population. When they start demanding all meats be halal, then that's a huge problem. But interesting to note the changes in the religious demographics of the U.S. population.

Saffron Road, the packaged food brand of Stamford, Conn.-based American Halal Co., is now shipping a family-sized portion of Chicken Tikka Masala to select Costco stores on the West Coast. The deal is the first with Costco. The new Chicken Tikka Masala family portion is ideal for families who want to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine at home, that are easy to make, the company said.
“Our Muslim consumers have expressed their desire to see family sized portions of our Halal Certified meals, and we’re happy to provide this new meal option the whole family can enjoy,” said Saffron Road Chief Executive Officer Adnan Durrani.
Consumers can find the new item now at select Costco stores in the freezer aisle for the suggested retail price of $10.99 each. All Saffron Road products are Halal Certified by the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America. Halal is an Islamic tradition that has healthfully fed literally billions of people over the last 1,400 years. Halal promotes the sacred tradition of respect for the land, fair treatment for farmers, humane treatment of livestock and clean, healthy food to eat.
Saffron Road’s All Natural Certified Halal entree uses chicken that is Certified Humane by Humane Farm Animal Care. All of Saffron Road’s livestock are fed 100 percent vegetarian feed and are never given Antibiotics or Hormones.

“We are excited to now have our brand in Costco stores,” said Saffron Road Executive Vice President Jack Acree. “We know that a lot of our consumers seeking Halal options are shopping at Costco stores already, and are often looking for authentic meal options for the entire family.”

Mitt Romney's Tyler Foundation and the Millions He Donates To Charity

For all the bitching and moaning about  Mitt Romney's wealth, over the years the Romney's have donated millions to charitable organizations, according to Forbes.  Since they have the means, and the Mormon Church requires a 10% tithing of annual income, the Romneys have been very generous donating to organizations as diverse as AIDs Action and the Wright Museum through their Tyler Foundation.

Romney and his wife Ann also maintain a separate foundation, established in 1999, the same year that Romney left Bain Capital to serve as CEO of the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics Organizing Committee. The couple have contributed approximately$13.6 million, including an initial gift of more than $3.6 million, to their Tyler Charitable Foundation, based in Boston, MA, in the past 13 years.
Since the Tyler Foundation began making grants in 2000, its annual disbursements have averaged approximately $650,000 per year. The foundation’s most active years were 2003 and 2008, with approximately $2 million given away in each. In 2010, the most recent year for which data is available, the foundation hit its average, donating $650,000.
All told, Mitt and Ann Romney have doled out over $7 million via the Tyler Charitable Foundation. And although last year’s annual tax disclosure won’t be publicly available until this coming November, I would wager that the Romneys kept the pace in 2011, and that figure is now around $8 million. As of the 2010 disclosure, the Tyler Charitable Foundation had assets of more than $10 million.

His favorite top ten organizations and charities, and the amounts the Tyler Foundation has gifted  since 2000 are:

1. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints: $4,781,0002. Brigham Young University: $525,0003. The United Way: $177,0004. Right to Play: $111,5005. The George W. Bush Library: $100,0006. Operation Kids: $85,0007. Center For Treatment of Pediatric MS: $75,0008. Harvard Business School: $70,0009. City Year: $65,00010. Deseret International: $50,000Weber State University: $50,000
Yes, the bulk has gone to the Mormon Church, but according to one of the comments in response to a disparaging remark regarding that fact, the Church helps not only the community but aids countries in need.

Yes, Mormons contribute 10% tithing to the Church, as well as more to various other charities. But it is worthwhile to know where the Church is spending that money. Since the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has no paid clergy, it has much more to use for the welfare of its members and their neighbors. When a natural disaster or catastrophe occurs around the world, the Church is often the first organization there to offer help and relief. The Sunday following the Tsunami I was one of the volunteers who removed tons of clothes off the racks of Deseret Industries and prepared them for shipment to Japan. We bundled the clothes on Monday, they traveled to Salt Lake City by truck on Tuesday, and were on a plane to Japan on Wednesday. I was honored to have that privilege. And, one more comment, this one from then US President Ronald Reagan: “If, during the period of the Great Depression, every church had come forth with a welfare program founded on correct principles as the LDS church did, we would not be in the difficulty in which we find ourselves today.” He urged that in our need we turn not to government but rather to ourselves. He also commented, “What I think is that if more people had this idea back when the Great Depression hit, there wouldn’t be any government welfare today, or need for it.”

Well said.

Obama Has More "Fake" Twitter Followers Than Romney

Apparently you can buy Twitter followers for as little as $5.00. You can amass 1,000 for  just $18.00. I had no clue. I use Twitter very infrequently, since I have yet to figure out its usefulness, so my count fluctuates a bit and pretty much remains static at a little over 100. Yeah, not very popular, but as cheap as it costs to increase the amount of followers one has seems a bit of a waste of money- at least as a blogger.

But apparently there's a status thing that goes along with being popular enough to have a boatload of Twitterers following you.  Especially for celebs and politicians. Mitt Romney  called out for having an overnight spike of a little over 100,00 followers, and it turns out 16% percent of his total count were fake. But guess what, 28% percent of Barack Obama's followers are fake. That's almost double.

According to WebProNews, Status People has a free faker checker, and as of today:

Obama had: 28% Fake  30%  Inactive 33% Good

Mitt Romney on the other hand had:  16% Fake 38% Inactive 46% Good

Obama has a whopping 18,917,572 followers
Romney has a mere 917,357

As with all Twitter accounts the above numbers fluctuate. WebProNews had slightly different percentages when they posted the article, but it proves it's not just Romney bulking up his follower totals.

And here's one for irony-

@Knowmuammad has100% fake followers:

I've no idea how they figure out the percentages, or how they determine which accounts are fake or inactive, but it's pretty dang interesting. Of my paltry few, I have no fakes, as of today.

TN Obama "Team Member" Encourages Anti-Mormon "Whisper Campaign"

This election is going to get down and dirty before all is said and done; it already has.  Just watch some of the vicious SuperPAC ads running, and then there's people misquoting- as Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz did a few days ago. But I was waiting for someone to glom onto Mitt Romney's Mormonism, and it looks like that has finally happened.

When the Obama campaign released its much-anticipated Dashboard platform last May, it was touted as a potentially revolutionary organizing tool that would connect supporters, and merge online activism with real-life grassroots campaigning.
It can also be used as a platform to launch whispering campaigns, as one user proved this week.
On Monday, a "team member" named Laurence De Palma, who lists his location as East Nashville, presented volunteers with some talking points to convince Southern Christian voters they shouldn't vote for a Mormon. The message was available under "Resources" and tagged "persuasion."

"I'm thinking that even though we don't LIKE campaigns to get nasty, we in the south (TN) come to EXPECT it," De Palma began. "What we also know is that we have a very 'rigid' view of Christianity, and apparently, Mormonism isn't anywhere in our views. This could easily win TN/SC/AL/GA, etc."
The post goes on to include brief, oversimplified summaries of Mormon doctrines, framed to clash with evangelical Christianity.

Obama's campaign condemned it (at least in public), and has removed the post, but the whole idea has already been set in motion.

According to Buzzfeed, in spite of the fact that the forum allows users to moderate each others posts and flag the ones they deem inappropriate, this one sat there for four days until Buzzfeed brought it to the campaign's attention.  Only then was it removed.

Although both candidates have no control over what their supporters say and do, they do have control over how long a post sits on a campaign dashboard. Condemnation is also within their power.

Romney's camp condemned the action

"The news concerning the Obama Campaign's dashboard containing language based on sowing religious division is deeply disturbing. There is no place in politics for this, and it must be addressed and put to an end."
If the liberals are so concerned about Mormon politicians, maybe they should run Harry Reid out of Vegas, and Sen Tom Udall out of New Mexico, and all the other Mormon Democrats.

Anderson Cooper Rips Into Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (FL-D) For Misquoting

It's not often you see a liberal journalist holding a Democratic politician's feet to the fire, but Anderson Cooper's interview with Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman- Schultz is a thing of beauty.

During his CNN show on Thursday, the host proved that during his “Keeping Them Honest” segment where he ripped into Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) for “misquoting” a Los Angeles Times article in a fundraising email, in which she attempted to tie GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s abortion stance to Rep. Todd Akin’s. Akin came under fire this week from all sides for arguing that women’s bodies can prevent pregnancies in cases of “legitimate rape.”

The email in question argued that the GOP “just voted to embrace Akin’s position by including a constitutional ban on all abortions — even in cases of rape or incest — in their 2012 platform.”

In spite of the fact that Romney supports abortion in cases of rape, incest or the life of the mother is at risk and he condemned Akin's asinine remark, Wasserman-Schultz- like a bull-dog hanging on to its bone- refused to apologize for the misquote.

Kudos to Cooper for persisting, though.

Wasserman-Schultz is such an unpleasant woman.

Vote!! Free Apple Game App Has Romney and Obama Duking It Out

Wanna see Mitt and Barack slug it out? There's a free I-phone, I-Pad game app by Epic Games called Vote!!! You pick your fave candidate and then go at it, that is if you can figure out how it works.

CNN goes into a little more detail into the mechanics of the game. I just downloaded the app, but don't have much time right now to play around with it. It's apparently non-partisan, but Obama seems to be winning, that's because:

"The game becomes more than just a single-player fight between Obama and Romney," Mustard said. "There's this cool metagame where millions of people around the country will be playing the game and earning votes. If you're actually voting for Obama, then you'll likely be playing as him in the game. So we'll have this running tally of who's winning the election, at least in terms of battling it out in this cool new game."

It's also tied in to Rock The Vote, which was definitely very partisan the last time around.

Potus and His Totus, part Deux

I have little respect for some of the shenanigans that Reuters pulls, but this photo of Barack and his Teleprompter is hilarious, probably the funniest one yet.  It just makes me laugh. According to the Daily Mail, Matt Drudge thought it was rude. Why?  I have no idea. I took a stroll over to Drudge Report, and sure enough the link title called it rude, though it has since been removed.

More photos of Obama and his handy, dandy teleprompter.

Media Whitewashes Liberal Gay Rights "Nut Job" Floyd Lee Corkins

28-year-old Democratic gay rights advocate Floyd Lee Corkins II, from Virginia, shows up at the Christian Conservative Family Research Council in DC, Chik-fil-A bags in tow, walks in with a loaded weapon and starts shooting. Before he opens fire, he mentions something about not liking FRCs policies [on gay marriage].  He wounds a guard who manages, with the help of others, to overpower Corkins, and prevent a potential massacre.

How long did that story stay in the mainstream media?  Not long at all. Of course, had it been a right wing-nut job attacking some liberal organization, we'd still be hearing about it. But since it was a liberal-nut job, it's no big deal.

Corkins had apparently volunteered at the DC Center for the LGBT Community.  The executive director, David Mariner,  condemned the attack- as did 40 other LGBT organizations- saying:

"I was shocked to hear that someone who has volunteered with the DC Center could be the cause of such a tragic act of violence. No matter the circumstances, we condemn such violence in the strongest terms possible. We hope for a full and speedy recovery for the victim and our thoughts are with him and his family."
Are the media and police officials taking the attack seriously? It doesn't seem like it. The Hollywood Reporter mentions this:

Despite the Chick-fil-A connection, his activities as a gay-rights activist and the shooter's reference to what FRC "stands for," law enforcement officials were careful not to imply a motive while speaking to the press.
"We don't know enough about him or his circumstances ... we are going to try to sort this all out, pull the evidence and do all the interviews we can," FBI agent James McJunkin told ABC News.

The motive seems pretty darn obvious. Some news reports did say the FBI were treating it as a case of domestic terrorism, whether that sticks is another story.

Corkin's 9mm handgun was legal, and purchased "fairly recently", which would indicate that it was purchased specifically for this attack.

I doubt we'll hear too much more about this whole incident.

UK Muslim Polygamists To Get More Welfare Benefits In 2013

Polygamy is illegal in the U.K., but not for Muslim immigrants. Nope. Not only is it okay for Muslim men to have as many wives as they choose, the British nanny state is actually encouraging it by increasing the welfare benefits for those in polygamous marriages. Yes, indeed, when welfare reforms take place in 2013, Muslim men who have more than one wife will get an increase in their benefits,
according to an article in the Gatestone Institute.

Currently the state pays extra wives in polygamous households reduced amounts of individual income support, in addition to the normal amount received by the husband and his first spouse.
Under the new rules, however, the extra wives will be eligible to claim a full single person's allowance (despite being married), while the original married couple will still receive the standard married person's allowance.
The changes are part of wide-ranging reforms to the welfare system that are being implemented by Prime Minister David Cameron's coalition government, which admits that it wants to treat extra wives as single so that the state will not officially be recognizing polygamy as it is under the current system.
Critics who had hoped the government reforms would do away with benefits for polygamy altogether say the so-called Welfare Reform Bill is simply opening up a loophole for polygamous families to claim more money from the state.
Details of the changes were revealed in a 13-page legal brief dated July 19, and published by the library of the House of Commons. The document states: "Treating second and subsequent partners in polygamous relationships as separate claimants could mean that polygamous households receive more under Universal Credit than under the current rules for means-tested benefits and tax credits."

Eye-opening. No wonder they're broke, and doomed.

"Aisha's In Hell" Sing Shiite Muslims in London Celebrating Her Death

Who knew that Shiites hated Mohammed's child bride Aisha. I certainly didn't until I saw the video below: Shiites in London happily celebrating her death and banishment to hell.

This site explains the reasons why she is dissed by Shia Muslims, including the fact that she was a jealous, argumentative wife who was not the favored one, as Sunni adherents believe.  Jealous? Ya think maybe it was because she was so young when old Mohammed married her?

The Shiites also believe she is a murderer, explained here.

Mali Islamist Militants Ban Secular Western Music

Muslim extremists are slowly taking over Africa. Northern Mali, home of the famed city of Timbuktu, struggled with an Islamic insurgency, and sadly lost. It is now run by Islamists and they're starting to establish Shariah law there. Women have already been forced to wear head scarves, and now the only music that will be allowed on the air waves must be religious in nature. Singing Quranic verses is okay, everything else is banned. That means no Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber allowed because Western non-Muslim lyrics are Satanic.

The spokesperson for the Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO), Oussama Ould Abdel Kadersaid that:

“We, the mujahideen of Gao, Timbuktu and Kidal from now on refuse the broadcasting of all western music on radios on Islamic land."

“We have already spoken to people who own the radio stations. We no longer want Satan’s music. Instead there must be verses of the Koran. Western music is Satanic music.”

because

“sharia demands it.”

Although MUJAO only rules Gao, Kader was speaking on behalf of all the lovely al-Qaeda-linked jihadists including Ansar Dine that have overrun that region like rats since the March 22, 2012 military coup. Thanks to that coup, the Mali northerners' lives have changed, for the worse.

Besides banning smoking and drinking, and forcing women to wear hijab,

In recent weeks the Islamists have stepped up the application of sharia, stoning an unmarried couple to death and cutting off the hand of a thief.

They also systematically destroyed ancient treasures in Timbuktu, which happened to be Islamic.

Mali is headed the route of Somalia, at least the al-Shabaab run areas.

Very sad.

3 Jordanians With The Paralympic Team Charged With Sexual Assault in Northern Ireland

Well, isn't this interesting. Three men from Jordan- associated in some way with the Jordanian Paralympic team- have been arrested and charged by Northern Irish authorities "in relation to allegations of indecent assault." In some cases with a child. Teams are in training for the Paralympics which are scheduled to take place in London from August 29 through September 9. The Jordanian team happens to be training in Antrim, Northern Ireland.

No details yet whether they were athletes or just part of the delegation, but a man in his 20s and two men in their 30s have been charged.

"...a 23-year-old, was charged with two counts of sexual activity with a child, one count of sexual assault on a woman and voyeurism.

A second man, aged 35, was charged with two counts of sexual activity with a child, and the third, aged 36, was charged with one count of sexual assault on a woman.

Not much else is known.

Do they really think they can get away with in the West what might be acceptable in their own country? If the allegations are true, throw the book at them.

UPDATE 8/23/12:

The three have been identified as powerlifters and their trainer.

In Northern Ireland, police said a 14-year-old girl claimed that she posed for photographs with Omar Sami Qaradhi, 31, before he groped her between the legs in the town center of Antrim on Aug. 18.

That same day, a 16-year-old girl said she and a friend were walking along the river near the sports center where the men were training when they blocked their path. Police allege that one of the men pushed the girl towards Qaradhi, who wrapped his arm around her waist and tightened his grip before she ran away.

Qaradhi is facing three charges of sexual assault, two of which are against a child. He also is charged with one count of voyeurism after allegedly entering a women’s changing room at the local sports center.

The two other men were identified as Motaz Al Junaidi, 45, and trainer Faisal Hammash, 35, who also appeared at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

They are heading home, but have promised to return for the October 18 hearing. Good luck getting them back to Ireland once they're safely home in Jordan.

ANONYMOUS Threatens The RNC In Tampa

The hacktivist group Anonymous is calling on 'citizens of the world' to "fight back" at the Republican National Convention in Tampa on August 27th.  And they ask people not to fear them.  What a joke.

Why don't these people do something constructive and go to places where there is true oppression.  Why don't they fight for true freedom for the poor, hungry and suffering in countries like Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Yemen, and a plethora of other countries that truly oppress their citizens.

Grow up!

Posted on the Youtube channel:

The time is coming, RNC is near. So we lay a final message to the Activists that will be at RNC. As well as a message to people of America. And a special message for the ones who have been feeding misinformation to the public the F.B.I, T.P.D and PI Bill Warner. The public needs to know that they should not fear us, we are on the side of the American people. We are not terrorists but we are not pacifists. We are Anonymous, we fight for every American who is sick of politicians and corporations running our lives, making our decisions and causing the suffering of our people. No matter how many of us fall in battle we can not be stopped. Anonymous is indeed very real and alive. We are collectives of normal everyday Americans all around you, we are not a few but many. We all share one ideology, what we stand for is true freedom. Freedom from the oppressive regime that our government has become. Let us band together and knock down the walls of the clean zone for it violates our constitution. The city of Tampa is our city, the peoples city. Together united by one divided zero we will fight for what belongs to the people. May freedom be with you all.

Muslim Ex-Employee Imane Boudlal Sues DIsney Over Her Hijab

She's baaack. Imane Boudlal, the restaurant hostess who filed suit against Disney in 2010 for not allowing her to wear her hijab to work has filed another law suit.  I actually thought I was reading old news on Al Arabiya, so I googled her name, and sure enough this  Moroccan-American woman has decided to once again sue Disney. Back in 2010, Boudlal decided that after two and a half years of working at the California Disneyland Storyteller  CafĂ©  in the Grand Hotel she would start wearing her hijab to work.

Anyone who knows anything at all about Disneyland knows that they have a squeaky clean image to uphold and a very strict dress code. Every single aspect of Disneyland or Disney World is designed to be Disney-esque- from the rides and shops to the uniforms everyone must wear. This is not a place that you can come dressed as you please. And although Disney generously offered her another job where she would not be serving customers, this young 26-year-old (at the time) Moroccan woman decided to take offense instead, and chose to sue the company.
"Their offer to put me in the back is humiliating," she said in a statement. "They're saying because I'm Arab, because I'm Moroccan, because I'm Muslim, they don't want to see me in the front."

Humiliating, in what way? And no, they were not saying it was because she's a Moroccan, Arab Muslim, it's because they have STRICT DRESS CODES.  Disney hires have extensive paperwork to sign when they are employed which includes information regarding the dress code. Crosses, Stars Of Davids and any other religious items are to be worn UNDER the costume. Men can't sport beards and must wear their hair a certain, conservative length. She was obviously very aware of the rules and simply chose to buck the system either to make some money by suing, or to make some kind of religious, political statement. People have the right to fire or hire whom they choose and she's lucky they didn't immediately give her the pink slip. She deserved it.  If she had problems NOT wearing her hijab, then she should have gone elsewhere for employment. Like Target. I often see cashiers and saleswomen wearing head scarves there, she would have fit right in.

According to Boudlal, she discovered she had the "right" to wear her hijab while studying for her U.S. citizenship; she then:

asked her employers at Disneyland's Grand Californian Hotel [snip] whether they would permit her to wear a headcovering while working as a hostess, a spokeswoman for a worker's union said.

But when no reply was forthcoming, she decided to don the headscarf anyway, timing her decision with the beginning of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Leigh Shelton, a spokesman for the UNITE HERE Local 11 union said.

Disney bent over backwards to accommodate her by offering a 'backstage' job or go home, and each time she opted to go home.

Disneyland spokeswoman Suzi Brown said Disney has a policy not to discriminate. The resort offered Boudlal a chance to work with the head covering away from customers while Disneyland tries to find a compromise that would allow Boudlal to cover her head in a way that fits with her hostess uniform, Brown said.

"Typically, somebody in an on-stage position like hers wouldn't wear something like that, that's not part of the costume," Brown said. "We were trying to accommodate her with a backstage position that would allow her to work. We gave her a couple of different options and she chose not to take those and to go home."
They even offered her a specially made bow-tie bonnet to wear over her hijab, but the ingrate refused, saying,

"The hat makes a joke of me and my religion, and draws even more attention to me. It's unacceptable. They don't want me to look Muslim."

Disney sees itself as a performance theme park. Uniforms are called "costumes". "On-stage" are the areas that employees can be seen. "Back stage" is, as it implies, away from the public. It's a little like a theatre production, where designers create the whole 'look' of a particular project. As an actress, I wear the costumes that have been designed for me, I can't suddenly show up wearing something that wasn't part of the design concept. If I was performing in a Shakespeare play and I happened to be Muslim and Ramadan came along, I'd be fired (and rightfully so) if I decided to wear a hijab as part of my costume.

Of course, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)  stepped into the fray as they often do, demanding that they allow Boudlal to wear her scarf.

"There is no justification for Disney's refusal to allow Ms Boudlal to wear her headscarf at work," said Ameena Mirza Qazi, deputy executive director and staff attorney at the group.

"To say that her headscarf would somehow impact guests is not only insulting to her, but is deeply offensive to the thousands of Muslims who open up their pocket-books at Disney parks and resorts every year," Qazi added in a statement.

Yes, there is justification since a strict dress code is part of the hiring process. It's shameful, how people have to bring in the race or religion card when oftentimes it has absolutely nothing to do with either.

After about a month, Disney eventually suspended her after refusing to wear the bonnet, and refusing on various occasions to work 'backstage'. So now, two years later, represented by the restaurant union Local 11, her law suit filed by the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) has finally been approved by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

The latest Al Arabiya article titled "If you're a Muslim Disneyland isn't the happiest place on earth" -a quote from one of her lawyers- claims Boudlal was also harassed by fellow co-workers who called her "camel" and "terrorist", which is more than likely embellishment to sweeten the deal.  The ACLU is asking, in addition to damages,  that all Disney employees receive training to prevent harassment and discrimination.

Even though another young Muslim intern- Noor Abdullah, who had a similar dispute in 2010- was perfectly happy with her specially made blue beret to wear over her hijab, Boudlal has decided to make a major issue of it. Come hell or high water, she's going to either get her way or make a bundle with her lawsuit.

Obama's Photoshopped Family Photo On His Facebook Page

What would possess Barack Obama to post on his campaign Facebook page, an obviously photoshopped photograph of himself, his mum Ann Dunham, and maternal grandfather Stanley Dunham in the Honolulu airport in the 1970s? Take a peak at mama Obama's hand. A pretty shoddy photoshop job when you forget to change the color of her hand.

The video below shows the hand and other photoshopped objects in more detail.  I found it in my sidebar of recommended videos and decided to check it out. I wasn't sure how legit it was so I wandered over to Obama's Facebook page, and damn if it wasn't there, brown hand and all, along with several other "family" photos. [Note, at the end the video touts someone's book.]

The theory is that the hand belonged to communist Frank Marshall Davis, who became Obama's mentor. Whether it is or not, it's certainly a bizarre photo; and even stranger, how did it wind up on BO's Facebook page?

Hamburg To Officially Recognize Islamic Holidays

I wonder when Muslim majority countries will start recognizing Christian or Jewish holidays so they too can celebrate them at home?

BERLIN - Authorities in Hamburg have become the first in Germany to officially recognize Islamic holidays so Muslim employees and students can celebrate them at home. The decision forms part of an agreement between the German city and local Muslim groups. Similar agreements exist with Christian and Jewish communities in the city.
Authorities estimate some 150,000 Muslims live in the city of almost two-million people.
The growing public presence of Islamic culture in Germany has sparked anger among conservatives and far-right groups. Police in Berlin were on alert for possible violence this weekend after a small far-right party said it planned to stage protests outside mosques in the German capital.

They also intend on improving Islam courses in school.

Joke of the day: Islamic Anger Management

Yep, pretty much nails it. But you'd never find them in therapy.

"Hit The Road Barack" An Obama-Bashing Piece Makes It To Cover Of Newsweek

Liberal Newsweek has taken a major turn to the right with its latest cover: Hit The Road Barack: Why We Need a New President by Niall Ferguson. Ferguson, a Scottish writer/historian and Harvard history professor, who was also, admittedly, an adviser to John McCain during the 2008 campaign skewers Obama with all his failed promises.

I was a good loser four years ago. “In the grand scheme of history,” I wrote the day after Barack Obama’s election as president, “four decades is not an especially long time. Yet in that brief period America has gone from the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. to the apotheosis of Barack Obama. You would not be human if you failed to acknowledge this as a cause for great rejoicing.”
Despite having been—full disclosure—an adviser to John McCain, I acknowledged his opponent’s remarkable qualities: his soaring oratory, his cool, hard-to-ruffle temperament, and his near faultless campaign organization.
Yet the question confronting the country nearly four years later is not who was the better candidate four years ago. It is whether the winner has delivered on his promises. And the sad truth is that he has not.
In his inaugural address, Obama promised “not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth.” He promised to “build the roads and bridges, the electric grids, and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together.” He promised to “restore science to its rightful place and wield technology’s wonders to raise health care’s quality and lower its cost.” And he promised to “transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age.” Unfortunately the president’s scorecard on every single one of those bold pledges is pitiful.
He also is very hyped about the Paul Ryan part of the Romney/Ryan ticket.

Over the past few years Ryan’s “Path to Prosperity” has evolved, but the essential points are clear: replace Medicare with a voucher program for those now under 55 (not current or imminent recipients), turn Medicaid and food stamps into block grants for the states, and—crucially—simplify the tax code and lower tax rates to try to inject some supply-side life back into the U.S. private sector. Ryan is not preaching austerity. He is preaching growth. And though Reagan-era veterans like David Stockman may have their doubts, they underestimate Ryan’s mastery of this subject. There is literally no one in Washington who understands the challenges of fiscal reform better.

Read the rest here.

It's huge that this made it to the front cover, although there are already the detractors.  But Ferguson is right, we do need a new president. And this November please.

Rep Todd Akin Apologizes For His Offensive No Pregnancy From "Legitimate Rape"

It's people like Missouri Republican Congressman Todd Akin who send moderates and independents flying to the other side, and convince liberals to remain there.

Akin has since apologized (if you can call it that) for his supremely idiotic, beyond ignorant, truly offensive statement about raped women and their ability to magically stave off pregnancy if it is a "legitimate" rape:

"It seems to me, from what I understand from doctors, that's really rare. If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down."

What? Are those doctors living in the same cave Akin is living in? And where did they get their medical degrees- from getyourmedicaldegree.com? If the female body was able to "shut down the whole thing", there would be no need for contraception, would there? Tragically, many women get pregnant from rape- some choose to abort others choose to keep their babies- but his remark implies that those who do get pregnant were not in actuality raped. Unbelievable.

The following apology was posted on Akin's website:

"As a member of Congress, I believe that working to protect the most vulnerable in our society is one of my most important responsibilities, and that includes protecting both the unborn and victims of sexual assault. In reviewing my off-the-cuff remarks, it's clear that I misspoke in this interview and it does not reflect the deep empathy I hold for the thousands of women who are raped and abused every year. Those who perpetrate these crimes are the lowest of the low in our society and their victims will have no stronger advocate in the Senate to help ensure they have the justice they deserve.

"I recognize that abortion, and particularly in the case of rape, is a very emotionally charged issue. But I believe deeply in the protection of all life and I do not believe that harming another innocent victim is the right course of action. I also recognize that there are those who, like my opponent, support abortion and I understand I may not have their support in this election.

"But I also believe that this election is about a wide-range of very important issues, starting with the economy and the type of country we will be leaving our children and grandchildren. We've had 42 straight months of unacceptably high unemployment, trillion dollar deficits, and Democratic leaders in Washington who are focused on growing government, instead of jobs. That is my primary focus in this campaign and while there are those who want to distract from that, knowing they cannot defend the Democrats' failed economic record of the last four years, that will continue to be my focus in the months ahead."

If he believes that this election is about "a wide-range of very important issues, starting with the economy", then he needs to keep his mouth shut on "emotionally charged" issues like abortion and rape. He is simply adding fuel to the anti-conservative/Republican fire. I'm not sure why politicians don't think before they speak. People like Akin are handing over the votes to the Democratic party.

How Obama Got Elected- The Biased Influence Of the Media

Back in 2008, a few days after my fellow citizens foolishly elected Barack Obama to the White House, I wrote about what I felt were the myriad of reasons he won the presidency. And there were plenty, including major media bias.

Filmmaker John Ziegler takes an in-depth look at exactly how the media influenced the vote in favor of Obama in his documentary film Media Malpractice: How Obama got elected and Palin was targeted.  Although Sarah Palin was not the best VP choice for McCain, she did not deserve being railroaded.

The Palin witch hunt by pretty much every major media outlet definitely influenced the outcome of the vote, and yet the average voter had no clue who, why or what he/she was voting for. Do you remember the  Howard Stern Show interview with Obama voters?  Obama supporters in Harlem were interviewed by 'Sal', one of Stern's staff members, and all of them were actually for McCain's policies, although they thought they were Obama's. What Sal did was ask them what they thought of McCain's policies although he attributed them to Obama, including if they were happy with Sarah Palin as Obama's choice of VP. They all said yes.

And to prove just how biased and influential the media was during the 2008 presidential election campaign, John Ziegler commissioned a Zogby poll to determine how the media can impact an election. A mix of twelve white and black Obama supporters were interviewed on November 4th, right after they had cast their vote.

These voters were chosen for their apparent intelligence/verbal abilities and willingness to express their opinions to a large audience. The rather shocking video below seeks to provide some insight into which information broke through the news media clutter and which did not.

Most had no clue who Barney Frank, Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi were. However when asked which candidate had a pregnant teenage daughter, and which candidate wore $150,000 worth of clothing their party paid for, they all correctly credited Palin. And although Palin had commented that you can see Russia from land in Alaska, Tina Fey's mockery of that statement "And I can see Russia from my house" was what stuck in the minds of the voters. When asked who said "I can see Russia from my house" using Palins phrase, they all piped in with Palin. When asked who claimed they had campaigned in "57 states"- an Obama gaffe- most said it was probably Sarah Palin or McCain. And this question that I actually had no clue about: Which candidate won their first election by getting all their opponents kicked off the ballot? Either they didn't know, or it was blamed on McCain or Palin. As for Biden's stupid comment that Obama would be tested in his first six months by an international crisis, a few had no clue, and the rest attributed it to McCain. And which candidate had to quit another campaign because he plagiarized a speech- which was Biden- no-one knew. And even though Obama said his own policies would bankrupt the coal industry and make energy prices skyrocket, the majority blamed McCain, one person had no clue, another thought it might be Biden. Only one man knew who Bill Ayers was.

To Beat and Kill Women Is Part Of Palestinian Identity - Says Israeli/Arab Lecturer

Israeli/Arab lecturer Yusuf Jabareen admits in a discussion on PA (Fatah) TV what most of us Westerners already know: Arab Muslim men have major anger management issues.

Palestinian Authority TV interview with Yusuf Jabareen, Israeli Arab lecturer at the Technion:Jabareen: "Part of our identity is to kill women, for example, to kill women, to beat women..."Host: "You generalize."Jabareen: "No. I don't generalize."Host: "Not everyone is the same."Jabareen: "Part of our identity is to attack women - we must acknowledge it. Every society has its defects and its charms. Palestinian identity has its charms, but there are things we have adopted from Arab culture for centuries that harm the individual and the woman. For example, in recent months, look how many women were killed in Lod, in Ramle, and in Acre, and so on. That's part of our identity."

He's absolutely right. The fact is, violence against women is a huge problem in Palestine. At least he has the guts to admit it, though the other man's denial is typical.

Barack Obama's Brother Tells Dinesh D'Souza "You are like a brother"

Conservative writer and filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza whose latest documentary film   "2016:Obama's America" is currently playing in select theatres, has some interesting news about Barack Obama's half brother George. He interviewed George in the film, so got to know him. So who does George call when he needs help? Not his bro Barack, he calls D'Souza.

D'Souza shares the story in an opinion piece on Fox News:  How I became George Obama's 'brother'.

A few days ago I received a call from a man I recently met named George. He was a bit flustered, and soon informed me that his young son was sick with a chest condition. He pleaded with me to send him $1,000 to cover the medical bills. Since George was at the hospital I asked him to let me speak to a nurse, and she confirmed that George’s son was indeed ill. So I agreed to send George the money through Western Union. He was profusely grateful. But before I hung up I asked George, “Why are you coming to me?” He said, “I have no one else to ask.” Then he said something that astounded me, “Dinesh, you are like a brother to me.”

George could have been conning D'Souza, but that's beside the point. D'Souza wants to know why Obama, who talks a good talk about redistribution of wealth and who has more than enough money to help his indigent half brother, doesn't.

One of Obama’s favorite phrases comes right out of the Bible: “We are our brother’s keeper.” Yet he has not contributed a penny to help his own brother. And evidently George does not believe, even in times of emergency, that he can turn to his brother in the White House for help.

So much for spreading the wealth around.

Obama’s refusal to help George is especially surprising because George doesn’t just live in American-style poverty but rather in Third World poverty. He lives in a shanty in the Huruma slum in Nairobi. He gets by on a few dollars a month. Obama also has an aunt named Hawa Auma, his father’s sister, who ekes out a living selling coal on the streets of a small village in Kenya. She says she would like to have her teeth fixed, but she cannot afford it. Obama hasn’t offered to help her either.

D'Souza then goes in to detailed explanation as to why he believes Obama won't help his less fortunate kin, and not surprisingly it all boils down to politics.

It's worth a read.

The rest of the story here.

World Humanitarian Day 2012- Honoring Aid Workers Who Risk Their Lives

Today is World Humanitarian Day honoring and celebrating all those who selflessly give of themselves to help those in need in countries most of us would never think of visiting. And not only do they have to deal with unusually harsh conditions, they now have to worry about their own lives. In the past 10 years more than 800 people involved in humanitarian work have been killed, and more than 1300 wounded or held captive. NGO aid workers are no longer safe; hey are subjected to threats of violence, death or kidnappings in countries like Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and certain African countries that are dealing with Islamist extremists like Somalia and Sudan.

They deserve to be honored, because if it was my decision, I'd pull them all out of those regions with Muslim extremists.

August 19th was chosen to also commemorate all those killed in Iraq when the U.N. headquarters in Baghdad was bombed on August 19, 2003.

Obama Threat To National Security- Claim Intelligence Officials In Documentary Film "Dishonorable Disclosures"

A fascinating documentary short, "Dishonorable Disclosures" explores the massive amount of security leaks that have occurred under Barack Obama's watch. Using the public disclosure of the Osama Bin Laden kill so soon after the incident as an example, ex-intelligence officers and special forces operatives discuss how incredibly detrimental that was, and how they believe that all the recent high level leaks including revealing the joint US/Israeli creation of the Stuxnet worm and divulging that Obama has a personal "kill list" was simply for political gain and irresponsible.  They want it to stop.  It puts those in Operational Security at risk, it endangers lives, it gets foreign nationals who help us, like the Pakistani doctor who led us to Bin Laden, jailed for 33 years.  Who will be willing to help us in the future if leaders like Obama are willing to throw them under the bus for political gain? No-one.

They also explain how revealing information so soon after Bin Laden was killed compromised the whole operation and the ability to gather more intelligence.  And they blast him for inviting the Hollywood elite to share every detail of how the operation went down, again putting lives at risk.

[snip]in perhaps the most egregious display of ambition over country by a sitting President in modern times, the President of the United States mounted a media platform on a Sunday night at 2345 hours to announce to the voters that OBL had been killed.

This naked grandstanding came despite the fact that DEVGRU (SEAL Team Six) and other operatives had recovered huge amounts of intelligence material, quite probably with information that could have been converted to actionable intelligence, to include dozens of flash drives, computer hard drives and documents that without doubt contained massive amounts of information on the names, locations and operations of Al Qaeda worldwide.

This may have been our sole opportunity to utterly and completely destroy Al Qaeda. But before any of this treasure trove of intelligence could be analyzed, without any thought as to consequences, and before any other terrorists could be seized, BHO ran to the stage and announced it to the entire world. In a few brief moments of selfish grandstanding and political opportunism, our Commander In Chief lost the single opportunity to exploit intelligence that, had secrecy been preserved, might well have crushed Al Qaeda once and for all.

Within a few minutes of that announcement, every AQ terrorist moved into another rabbit hole where they could not be found, so they could continue their murdering of American soldiers and innocent civilians across the globe. How many have died since that date?

They're also angry and tired of being politically exploited by Obama and the White House for pure political gain, while their lives and the lives of those in covert intelligence are compromised. It's unconscionable that a president would have such disregard for the men and women who already risk their lives for our freedoms. And it's particularly ironic that Obama took sole  credit for  killing Osama Bin Laden, and yet gives no credit to those business owners who built their businesses with their own hands. Yes, others built the infrastructure where those businesses are located- which is what Obama was apparently insinuating- just as it took a bunch of Navy Seals and a whole lot of intelligence operatives to track Bin Laden down and kill him.

They want Obama to keep his mouth shut, and at the end of the film they demand that of him.

Bottom line, there are some things that need to remain classified.  We can't afford another four years with Obama at the helm.

Conservative Black Blogger Lambastes MSNBC's Touré For Race-Baiting

In response to Mitt Romney's comment that Obama should “take [his] campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago,” TourĂ©, co-host of MSNBC's The Cycle, said:

“That really bothered me. You notice he said anger twice. He’s really trying to use racial coding and access some really deep stereotypes about the angry black man. This is part of the playbook against Obama, the ‘otherization,’ he’s not like us.”

“I know it’s a heavy thing, I don’t say it lightly, but this is ‘niggerization,’” TourĂ© said to the apparent shock of his co-panelists. “You are not one of us, you are like the scary black man who we’ve been trained to fear.”
Aside from the fact that Romney's assessment of Obama's campaign tactics is spot on- this country has never been so angry and polarized- since when did 'anger' become synonymous with blacks? Since when did the words anger and hate become racial epithets, like the ugly "n" word, which black rappers and others seem to throw around with the same weight as, say, "buddy" or "dude".

Of course it's not really surprising that a liberal would see "racism" in any criticism of Obama. No, it has nothing to do with his policies, or his arrogance, or his ineptitude, in their opinion we just dislike Obama because he's black, which isn't technically true since he's actually half white. That makes him bi-racial, but I suppose they believe we hate the "black" side of his genetic makeup.

On the show, conservative co-host S.E. Cupp took Touré to task for his dishonesty.

She took particular issue with the fact that TourĂ© admitted that VP Joe Biden‘s “chains” comments were divisive, but is now calling Romney a “racist” for saying the Obama campaign is “angry.”

“Do you see how dishonest that is?” she asked.

TourĂ© denied calling anyone a racist, which prompted Cupp to say, “Certainly you were implying that Mitt Romney and the base will respond to this dog-whistle, racially-charged coding, and hate Obama, the angry black man?”

“Absolutely,” he replied.

“That’s so irresponsible,” Cupp answered back.

“This is not a revolutionary comment,” TourĂ© later said. “This is a constituency all-white party that rejects the black vote.”

“You have two white guys in Joe Biden and Mitt Romney,” Cupp clarified. “Joe Biden made the overtly racial comment and has a history of making bigoted remarks. Mitt Romney was responding to the comment. Yet he is the one responsible for the whole Republican history of racism in politics?”

“That’s not what TourĂ© is saying,” co-host Krystal Ball interjected. “You’re twisting his words.”

“No, he can speak for himself,” Cupp shot back.

“He’s using the playbook Republicans have been using for decades now,” TourĂ© concluded

All-white party? There are no black Republicans? Really? There may not be a multitude, but there are black conservatives, and they're smart, they're just rarely seen because the liberal media doesn't want that information out there.  But let's see, there's black conservative blogger Kira Davis who videotaped an open-letter to TourĂ© lambasting him for his race-baiting comment.

And there's these young black Republicans. And I guess there's enough black Republicans to justify a National Black Republican Association (NBRA). And AlfonZo, of Macho Sauce Productions. There are probably way more than anyone would care to acknowledge, just like in the entertainment industry.  Many people feel it's not worth the flak they would inevitably get by being open about their conservative politics.  It's simply not worth the grief.

Tunisian Salafis Targeting "Un-Islamic" Cultural Events Worrisome

Angry Tunisian Islamists

Tunisia is taking a quick dive into Islamist hell.  I'm not sure what was expected when the people voted overwhelmingly for an Islamist leadership, but they're certainly getting what they voted for. Perhaps some were foolishly duped into thinking that they could trust the so-called 'moderate' Islamist Ennahda party's vows of moderate Islam; but guess what, it 'aint happening. The ultra-conservative bearded Salafis are flexing their muscles and the Islamist-led government is doing nothing to stop them.

It starts slowly, with little things like cultural events. Salafis destroyed art they believed to be offensive at an art exhibit/fair in June. And they're back targeting the arts again. This time it was the "un-Islamic" Bizerte music and theatre festival that was attacked by a bunch of Salafis bearing arms which left five people wounded. Four men were arrested, but people there said it took a good hour before the police did anything about the melee, and that the government isn't doing anything to control the Salafis thuggish behavior. And the attacks on culture have increased to the point that some producers are cancelling events.

Last week, the director of a festival at Gboullat, in the northern Beja region, announced he was cancelling the event under pressure notably from the Salafi -- adherents of a strict Sunni interpretation of Islam similar to the one practiced in Saudi Arabia.

Another festival had been cancelled at the end of July, in Sejnane, with the organizers again blaming radical Islamists, who interrupted the event, saying it was unacceptable during the month of Ramadan.

But the Bizert festival isn't the only event that has been targeted recently, in fact there have been a spate of attacks since the violent confrontation in June that left many wounded and one dead.

It was the third and most violent such incident in just three days, after Salafi prevented an Iranian group from performing at a Sufi music festival in Kairouan, south of Tunis, saying their Shiite chanting amounted to a violation of Islamic values.

On Tuesday, renowned Tunisian actor Lotfi Abdelli was prevented from performing his comedy act “100% Halal” by hardline Islamists who had occupied the auditorium.

The fact that the Salafis are allowed to wreak havoc and yet anti-government protests are quickly dealt with has some believing that the Ennahda are involved.

“They leave the Salafi alone,” said Tunisian actress and playwright Leila Toubel.

“How can we believe that this government and Ennahda are not involved? I would like to think that there is nothing to it, but these people (the Salafi) go unpunished, they make their own law,” Toubel said.

She accused the ruling Islamists of “complicity at least by silence.”

And some online media sites, like Kapitalis, feel the same way.

“What is serious about all this, more than the activism of these religious extremists, which grows by the day, is the laxity of the authorities who give in every time when faced with the diktats of some bearded fanatics."

Although the ministry of culture weighed in on the cancelled Abdelli show by saying it was an “attack on freedom of expression and a dangerous threat to cultural rights,” it's doubtful anything will be done; after all, an Islamist is an Islamist, whether they claim to be moderate or not.

It starts with the cultural events, and then eventually it will creep into other areas of life, until it is too late to do anything about it.
