"I don't know how you live with yourself and work here. I don't understand it. This is a horrible corporation, with horrible values."
Well, Adam, this is still a free country, and right or wrong everyone is entitled to his/her own set of
values. And in case you didn't know, every corporation donates to causes and organizations that probably half of its employees oppose. I guess that means that those people should quit their jobs too? I assume that's what you wanted poor Rachel to do. And in case you didn't know, it's not that easy getting a job in today's economy. Maybe you'd like to support Rachel and all the other Chik-fil-A employees you think should quit their jobs? My unions donate to liberal causes, guess I should quit my unions? And as far as fast food corporations go, most are into selling franchises. Maybe, just maybe, those owners don't donate to the same organizations that the corporate heads do.
It's not nice to pick on Chik-fil-A employees. If you have a beef with Dan Cathy, the president- who was the one who sounded off on gay marriage- send him all your hate-filled invective. For all you know one of those employees you are harassing could be gay. And there are gay people working at Chik-fil-As.
And, believe it or not, there are gays who don't support the boycott, just like there are gays who couldn't care less about the whole gay marriage issue.
Apparently, Adam realized his stupidity and pulled his video from YouTube, and then removed his LinkedIn profile. Smart move. Thankfully it was saved by some bloggers since it's a great demonstration on how nasty liberals can get.
Rachel is to be commended for her composure.
UPDATE: The video has no been removed, but here's an interview on Fox where Smith talks about his apology. There are snippets of his harassment here.
