Fix*Us Contest on LiveCitizen.US- a call for entries

Have a solution to this country's problems, and want to make money for your favorite charity at the same time?  AVC, an Internet solution company based out of Los Angeles, has created www.livecitizen.us, a

.. platform for the exchange of ideas and opinions by everyday citizens. LiveCitizen seeks to encourage dialogue between people at both ends of the political spectrum so they are more informed and more confident in our aim to make a difference.

LiveCitizen is a community of outspoken citizens who voice their opinions on an array of political topics, current events and public affairs. It's not just chatter, but a microblogging platform for discussing and debating the entire spectrum of ideas and attitudes that shape and influence the world around us.

As part of LiveCitizen, they've launched a contest called fix*us. You can pick from the following 5 categories:

#economy #foreignpolicy #immigration #healthcare and #socialissues

You have 360 characters tops to detail your solution.

You can access through Twitter or Facebook through their app- which I'm usually not so thrilled to do- and the topic tag has to include the hashtag #fixus and one of the above topic tags.

The contest is open to the public, and whoever gets the most votes will win $1,000 for the charity of their choice.

You have until Halloween, October 31st, to participate. Winners will be notified November 13.

For more details you can check out their website. If you decide to participate, let us me know and I will make sure to vote for you.

If I have the time I might just join in, as well.

Interesting to note- the first one I looked at ranked #1 with 44 'agrees', was an anti-Israel post:
