9/11 2019- Never Ever Forget

Hard to believe it's been 18 years since we were viciously attacked by Islamist terrorists on September 11, 2001. Almost 3,000 people were mercilessly killed on that day, and that's not counting all those first responders and civilians who have since died- and will die in the future- from 9/11 related injuries and diseases from toxins and dust at Ground Zero. That accounts for another 1,400 or so people to date. That's a hell of a lot of people. Murdered in cold blood.

It's estimated around 200 people fell or jumped to their deaths. I cannot even fathom what they must have been going through at the time when they had to make the decision to either jump or burn to death.  Horrifying.

In 2015 news.com.au published 30 photos from 9/11 as a reminder of why we must never forget September 11.

2016- Fifteen Years Since 9/11- Never Forget

Hard to believe it has been 15 years since that horrific day- September 11, 2001- when a bunch of Muslim extremists started what has become an escalating violent battle against Western civilization.

Since then, Al-Qaeda has splintered, the Islamic State (ISIS) has now taken center stage, and they all have a common goal- they want Islam to dominate the world, and will mercilessly kill anyone to accomplish that goal.

Since then, we've had 15 more years of violence. Thousands upon thousands of people have been massacred by the evil scourge of the world. And all I know is that I am sick of the slaughter. However, I also realize it will not end, at least not any time soon, and probably not in my lifetime.

Al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri threatened the US that the September 11, 2001 attacks will be repeated "thousands of times", in a video marking the 15th anniversary of the deadly assault.
Addressing the United States in a video message posted Thursday on YouTube, Zawahiri blamed 9/11 on "your crimes against us".

This is why we must never forget. Since 2001, it's happened in Europe and elsewhere, perhaps not on the scale of our 9/11, but don't think it can't happen again. Here. This is why our porous borders need to be secured. This is why Muslim immigrants and tourists need to be vetted. They did it with people from Communist countries during the Cold War, it needs to be done now.

Homeland Security has posted a series of publications and documents from the 9/11 attack.

9/11 - 2014 Video NYC Time Lapse of Freedom Tower At Ground Zero

I'm posting this in honor of all those tragic lives lost on September 11, 2001.

It's a time-lapse video of the Freedom Tower being built at Ground Zero.

Let us never forget!

Saudi Journalist Blasts Conspiracy Theory Jews Involved In 9/11

And in this MEMRI video, Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi balks when asked if the Jews were involved in 9/11 and was it really Al Qaeda.  As editor-in-chief of Arab News, he refused to publish the conspiracy theory that was floating around all the Arab news agencies at the time, blaming Jews for 9/11. If Al Qaeda claimed responsibility, then why would it not be true, and that it was preposterous to think that  "40 or 50 Jews convened and agreed- "Menachem, don't go to work today because something's going down," referring to one of the theories out there that passed through his news desk.

It's not just the Arabs who maintain the theory that the Jews were behind 9/11, there are plenty of Westerners who do as well. And in this country.

Saudi Florida Family Had Ties To People Connected To 9/11 Terrorists- Declassified FBI Report

In 2001, Saudi Abdulaziz al-Hijji was living with his family in an upscale luxury home in a gated community in Sarasota, on the east coast of Florida. In late August of that year, the family suddenly disappeared, abandoning the home, three cars (one of them brand spanking new) expensive clothing and jewelry, toys, diapers a fridge full of food, fruit on the kitchen table and other items.  We all know what happened 2 weeks later on 9/11.  There has been speculation that the al-Hijji family had indirect ties to at least  three of the terrorists responsible for hijacking those planes that September day, and newly (partially) declassified FBI documents seem to confirm that notion, contradicting the 'official' FBI story that the al-Hiji's had no connection whatsoever.

One partially declassified document, marked “secret,” lists three of those individuals and ties them to the Venice, Fla., flight school where suicide hijackers Mohamed Atta and Marwan al-Shehhi trained. Accomplice Ziad Jarrah took flying lessons at another school a block away.

Atta and al-Shehhi were at the controls of the jetliners that slammed into the twin towers of New York’s World Trade Center, killing nearly 3,000 people. Jarrah was the hijacker-pilot of United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in a field in rural Pennsylvania.
The names, addresses and dates of birth of the three individuals tied to the flight school were blanked out before the records were released to BrowardBulldog.org amid ongoing Freedom of Information Act litigation.

The information in the documents runs counter to previous FBI statements. It also adds to concerns raised by official investigations but never fully explored, that the full truth about Saudi Arabia and the 9/11 attacks has not yet been told.

Read the full story on the Miami Herald. It's terribly disturbing.

It does make one wonder about the original Saudi 'person of interest' in the Boston Marathon Bombing Massacre. Quickly ruled out as a suspect, Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi was rumored to be deported next week, although Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has denied that possibility. I'm not questioning the guilt of the two Chechen brothers, but were there others involved, and could it possibly have been Alharbi after all?

9/11 2012- Randy Scott's Note

It's been 11 years since that terrible day on September 11. In keeping with honoring the many lives that were snuffed out in the name of Allah, I thought I would share this story:

For almost 10 years, Randy Scott's family thought he had mercifully died instantly when the Twin Towers were struck. Randy worked at Euro Bankers on the 84th floor of the 2nd tower of the World Trade Center. Last year his widow discovered that wasn't so. A note he had written and thrown out of the office window on the 84th floor made its way to Denise right before the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

All the note contained was:

and a thumb print sized drop of blood.  The DNA from that small drop finally led to "the note" writer's identification. How it arrived in the hands of Denise Scott's hands is somewhat of a miracle.  The note was caught by an individual in the street below and eventually wound up at the medical examiner's office.

It wasn't easy for the Randy's family since the note meant that he and the others had suffered until the tower collapsed.

"I spent 10 years hoping that Randy wasn't trapped in that building," Denise, 57, said Friday from a front room in her Stamford home with two of her three daughters, Rebecca, 29, and Alexandra, 22, at her side.
"I thought he was killed instantly," Rebecca interjected."It was so close to impact," Alexandra concluded.
Randy Scott's daughters fought tears as his message again triggered new mental images.
In a steady tone, their mother explained the power of the note. "You don't want them to suffer. They're trapped in a burning building. It's just an unspeakable horror. And then you get this 10 years later. It just changes everything."
Read the full story here.  It is very poignant.

Ron Paul Says 9/11 Wouldn't Have Happened On His Watch

Ron Paul is truly an idiot. His naivete would get us all killed. Thank GOD, as I predicted, he would not win the nomination.

How can anyone take this man seriously??!! Really, how?  9/11 wouldn't have happened had he been in charge?  How dare he!

This man is as enamored of himself, and deified by his supporters, as Obama is/was.

Psychologists Explain Why 9/11 Truthers Are Right and The Rest Of Us Are In Denial

Good Lord. A bunch of PhD and MA psychologists who happen to be '9/11 Truthers' explaining why those of who don't believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy are in denial and resistance.

Right, because those 19 hijackers were figments of our collective imagination.

And these people are practicing psychologists? Scary!

For anyone who might think it's a conspiracy, Debunking9/11 will set you straight.

Yes, Virginia, Al-Qaeda Exists- Latest Issue Of Al-Qaeda's 'Inspire' Magazine

There are actually fools who don't believe that Al-Qaeda exists, or that it's a CIA fabrication. I personally know some of them, and those same people believe 9/11 was a conspiracy.  I'm not quite sure who they think rammed those planes into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, and what entities are responsible for all the ongoing violence and savagery.  But  they refuse to acknowledge that evil exists in the form of religious Islamic extremism, and would rather blame the U.S. government (mostly under G.W. Bush's tenure) for all the ills of the world.

I guess they haven't seen Al-Qaeda's slick online English language magazine, Inspire, downloadable from the various jihadi sites that post it.  The latest issue (#7) that Blazing Catfur downloaded and posted here, is worth a look, for all the doubters.  Then again, I'm sure they will claim it too is a fabrication.

Not sure what will happen with future issues since Anwar Al-Awlaki was offed, as Inspire was his pet project, but I'm sure someone will carry on the legacy.  There will always be another roach looking for his 72 virgins, or willing to inspire others to get their 72.

The latest edition was a special 9/11 edition. The editor in chief Yahya Ibrahim says:

As for conspiracy theories, there's a particularly interesting article about Iran's stance on the issue:

The Iranian government has professed on the tongue of its president Ahmadinejad that it does not believe that al Qaeda was behind 9/11 but rather, the U.S. government. So we may ask the question: why would Iran ascribe to such a ridiculous belief that stands in the face of all logic and evidence?
Ridiculous indeed!

[Snip] 9/11 was neither the beginning of the war between the Muslims and the West nor was it the end. It was merely an episode in a long, protracted war that started at the time of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم and will end with al-Malĥama, the epic battle mentioned in the hadith. [snip]

10th Anniversary Of 9/11- We Must Never Forget

1

It's hard to believe that ten years have passed since that infamous day on September 11, 2001, when the world changed forever.  It also amazes me that there are those who would like the rest of us to forget that 3,000 plus people were murdered in the name of religion.  Worse yet, there are the fools who still believe in the ludicrous notion that it was actually some major, nefarious government conspiracy that was at the root of 9/11.  Sadly, I personally know both of these types, seemingly intelligent people who obviously have no mental capacity to discern truth from fiction.

The past few days I  noticed people posting certain comments and linking to articles on FaceBook that took me completely by surprise.  I realize that most of my colleagues in the entertainment industry are die-hard liberals, but I had no clue that some of them were  delusional '9/11 Truthers'; 'friends' who actually believe that 'al Qaeda' is a "fictional enemy created by the Bush administration  to justify the 'war on terror'."  And they're not alone. There are many who share those paranoiac beliefs.   Those same people believe Osama Bin Laden was killed years ago, and that his death was kept secret for various reasons that make no sense. In fact, none of their theories make sense, but still people are drawn towards the conspiracy conceit.

As for those who would like to 'forget', I remind them of the George Santayana quote:
"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it".
There are certain historical events that should never be forgotten, and 9/11 happens to be one of those. When we forget, we become complacent, when we become complacent, history can and will repeat itself.  Never forget!

9/11 2010 -Lest We Forget

There are some things in history that should never be forgotten. What happened on 9.11.2001 is one of those occurrences that should remain indelibly etched in our memories, lest we forget. However, there are many who already seem to have forgotten what happened that horrifying morning, when radical Islamists changed our world forever. They don't seem to realize that when we forget, we become less vigilant, and that's when our enemies take advantage of us. Those with evil intent will capitalize on our inherent goodness, and the supreme stupidity that comes with thinking that everyone should be trusted. They know that when we become polarized as a country, we become weakened, and that's when they will strike. Not necessarily in the form of a terrorist attack, but through dividing and conquering us as a people. They will start by separating us through issues that we all hold near and dear. Like freedom of speech, and freedom of religion.

The whole debate surrounding the proposed mosque near Ground Zero (conveniently changed from the Cordoba Initiative to Park51), demonstrates just how this tactic can work. I have been debating many of my colleagues and friends on Facebook, who in their admirable yet naive efforts to think the best of people, fail to realize that evil does exist in this world. They refuse to see that there is more than meets the eye when it comes to Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, and his so-called attempts to heal the rifts created post 9/11 between Muslims and other religions. In spite of the fact that most of the over 70% of Americans opposed to the mosque being built near Ground Zero have no problems with it being built elsewhere, my friends insist that it should be allowed to be built as planned, and vilify those of us who disagree. We are called Islamophobes, racists, bigots, xenophobes, and no matter what you say, or what arguments you present them, or what articles you forward to them, they are incapable or unwilling to see the truth.

They couldn't care less that Rauf promotes Shariah law and, in fact, has written a book about it.

They couldn't care less that Rauf essentially blamed the U.S. for the 9/11 attacks by claiming we were an accessory to the crime.

They couldn't care less that the financing behind the project is questionable.

They couldn't care less that it was initially called "The Cordoba Initiative", and that the multi-faith prayer room was only included after people balked about both these issues.

They couldn't care less that even Muslims have criticized the decision to build a mosque in that particular space. Here, here and here.

With Islam the fastest growing religion in the world, and the surging trend towards fundamentalism, our freedoms are slowly being eroded in the West. Freedom of religion (which I will defend to my death) is not reciprocated in Muslim majority countries, and yet is demanded of Western nations. In fact, Muslim minority sects ( the Ahmadis and Ismailis, about the only ones you can truly consider moderates) are as persecuted as non-Muslims in Pakistan and elsewhere. Forget freedom of speech. It doesn't exist over there, so they are trying to take it away from us in the West. Muslim organizations worldwide are trying to turn criticism of Islam into a 'hate crime'. Bloggers in Canada have been sued for being critical of the religion, and one Austrian woman has been charged with a hate crime , as has Dutch politician Geert Wilders, who is still awaiting the verdict.

In our over zealous attempts to accommodate everyone, to be the good hosts not wanting to offend, we are losing the battle to what is coined as 'creeping shariah'. I realize there are Muslims in this country willing to adapt, and who love freedom as much as we do, they are the ones opposing Park51; but there are just as many who don't, and who want to turn this into a Shariah compliant nation. Shariah has no place in a modern, democratic, free society, and my good-hearted but very foolish friends can't seem to see that we're headed in that direction.

How can people not see what Islam turns into when faced with criticism, most notably the violence that ensues. I do not condone the burning of Qu'rans, as the Gainesville publicity-whore Pastor Jones had planned on doing (and still might do), in spite of the fact that Bibles have been burned by Muslims in the past. But the monumental global overreaction to this lunatic Pastor of no more than 50 congregants is beyond the pale. And as we all know, this isn't the first time there has been a major, violent reaction to something Muslims take offense to, and it seems that they take offense to pretty much everything these days.

I refuse to tiptoe around anyone, and will continue to criticize anything I feel is worthy of criticism. If we give in, they win. Though it seems they've already won, since all they have to do now is threaten violence and we back down. In fact, Rauf's interview on CNN's "Larry King Live" with Soledad O'Brien says as much, insinuating that if the mosque is not built in the planned location, it will inflame the radical Muslim world. It's obvious that most Muslim clerics exacerbate the problem by either fueling the flames or saying nothing at all; and those that do bother to condemn the violence and extremism are in danger themselves of retaliation.

It might just take another terrorist attack on our soil to open our sleeping eyes and say enough is enough. I just hope we pull our heads out of the proverbial sand before it's too late.

9/11- Lest we forget!

It's been 8 years since that dreadful day; a day that some of us, who witnessed the true face of evil, will remember in vivid, horrific detail. The 3,000 innocents who died. Those poor souls who chose to jump to their deaths rather than burn alive. The massive destruction and devastation. But for others, as the years pass by, the memories start to fade and what happened on that fateful Tuesday morning, September 11, 2001 has less impact, and in some cases forgotten. A few days ago I mentioned to someone that we were approaching 9/11- they asked what was so important; they had simply forgotten what had occurred that day.

What transpired that tuesday was not a terrible accident, or a tragic act of nature, it was a deliberate, flagrant act of aggression against this country and its citizens by religious Muslim fanatics. And although those Saudi Arabian funded jihadists who hijacked the planes on 9/11 would be considered extremists, what about all those people who were dancing in the streets in the Middle East, celebrating the death of 3,000 men, women and children? Should they too be considered extremists? I think not.

The problem with the passage of time is that complacency settles in, and with complacency we become less vigilant. Back when the memories were fresh, we understood how real the threat of Islamic fundamentalism was and were being proactive. But things have changed since then. We have become politically correct, appeasers, unwilling to offend those who would love to do us harm. What was once coined "the Global War on Terror", is no longer part of our government's terminology in describing our fight against global terrorism. Suddenly, the terrorists have rights and our CIA are under scrutiny. With Obama's naive and frankly dangerous belief that we can reach out and touch an Islamic fundamentalist, by trying to negotiate with the likes of the Taliban and other crazies like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will lead this country to destruction, or at least another terrorist attack on our soil.

I realize that there are times when it is best to forget and move on, but there are certain events that we should never forget, and 9/11 is one of those. And we need to be even more vigilant.

God Bless the victims, their families and all the heroes of 9/11!

'Meet Me In The Stairwell'- 9/11- Never Forget

'MEET ME IN THE STAIRWELL'

You say you will never forget where you were when
you heard the news on September 11, 2001.
Neither will I.

I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room
with a man who called his wife to say 'Good-bye.' I
held his fingers steady as he dialed. I gave him the
peace to say, 'Honey, I am not going to make it, but it
is OK..I am ready to go.'

I was with his wife when he called as she fed
breakfast to their children. I held her up as she
tried to understand his words and as she realized
he wasn't coming home that night.
I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a
woman cried out to Me for help. 'I have been
knocking on the door of your heart for 50 years!' I said.
'Of course I will show you the way home - only
believe in Me now.'

I was at the base of the building with the priest
ministering to the injured and devastated souls.
I took him home to tend to his flock in Heaven. He
heard My voice and answered.

I was on all four of those planes, in every seat,
with every prayer. I was with the crew as they
were overtaken. I was in the very hearts of the
believers there, comforting and assuring them that their
faith has saved them.

I was in Texas , Virginia , California , Michigan , Afghanistan .
I was standing next to you when you heard the terrible news. Did you sense Me?
I want you to know that I saw every face. I knew
every name - though not all know Me. Some met Me
for the first time on the 86th floor.

Some sought Me with their last breath.
Some couldn't hear Me calling to them through the
smoke and flames; 'Come to Me... this way... take
My hand.' Some chose, for the final time, to ignore Me.
But, I was there.

I did not place you in the Tower that day. You
may not know why, but I do. However, if you were
there in that explosive moment in time, would you have
reached for Me?

Sept. 11, 2001 was not the end of the journey
for you. But someday your journey will end. And I
will be there for you as well. Seek Me now while I may
be found. Then, at any moment, you know you are
'ready to go.'
I will be in the stairwell of your final moments.

GOD

Palestinian's Sick Humour- or let's celebrate 9/11

Text: “Exclusive to Al Hayat Al Jadida”

While much of the civilized western world has condemned Osama Bin Laden and his vile terrorist tactics, and much of the world mourned (and continues to mourn) the loss of thousands of innocent lives on 9/11, there are still those who continue to praise and celebrate Bin Laden and the shaheeds he has inspired to commit terrorist acts.

The Palestinians are guilty of this, but what else is new. According to the Palestinian Media Watch, the Palestinian Authority (PA) has published (since 9/11/01) in its daily newspaper, Al Hayat Al Jadida, cartoons glorifying Bin Laden and the terror attacks of 9/11; like the one above of Bin Laden with his 2 fingers in the shape of the Twin Towers proudly lifted in the sign of "victory". Of course, the Palestinians have a history of virulent anti-US sentiment, so it's not surprising. Remember, those horrifying videos of Palestinians celebrating in the streets the day of the attacks? And in a poll taken in December of 2005, it was found that 65% of the Palestinians supported Al Qaeda attacks on the U.S. and other western countries.

Interesting to note, per PMW, that Al Hayat Al Jadida is owned by the PA, and apparently controlled by the office of Ahmoud Abbas. And yet, we still continue to support the Palestinian Authority, both financially and politically, in spite of this profound hatred for the U.S.

According to PMW:

Earlier this year, a former Minister from Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah party wished Al Qaeda success in its attacks against the U.S., and in its targeting of President George W. Bush. The Fatah leader, Abu Ali Shahin, said in an interview on official PA TV: "Oh [Al-Qaeda] brother, leave us and focus on your business. You have Bush! Do to Bush what you want, and we wish you success with Bush, even more. I, Abu Ali
Shahin, wish you success with Bush... We are fighting the Americans and hate the Americans more than you!" [PA TV, Jan. 1, 2007]

I realize the U.S. has a history of often siding with the lesser of 2 evils (in this case Abbas) but one has to wonder how productive is that, considering the money we send could be used harm us. When are we going to draw the line and say "enough is enough! We refuse to support those who hate us and wish us harm!"?

Flying home on 9/11

September 11, 2007

6 years have passed since that vicious attack on September 11, 2001. One of the few events in my personal life that have been indelibly etched in my memory, in mind-numbing detail. I remember exactly where I was...the exact moment that I, in concert with most of the civilized world, and in total disbelief, witnessed that horrendous massacre executed in the name of the god of a so-called religion of peace. Almost 3,000 people gone, in one fell swoop. Most people mourned, others celebrated. It was that day the lines were drawn in the proverbial sand.
Unfortunately, the longer time passes, the further it seems to recede from people's minds and those lines become faded for many. Some cross over to the other side, in spite of the continuing violence in the name of Islam and the increasing demands of an intolerant religious ideology. And yet for others, for those able to see the larger picture, that violence has only served to strengthen their resolve to combat the cancer that is conservative Islam. So they hold "anti-Islamisation" demonstrations in places like Brussels, in spite of being banned by the mayor. Others blog about the problem, in spite of threats and lawsuits. But we have to do what we can, to make sure that the world remains free!
Although we left Kaua'i last night, September 10, we actually arrived on September 11, and it was quite a sobering thought to think that so many people died on this same day, 6 years ago, on their way somewhere. Life has changed, forever, since that day. Air travel is a major pain, thanks to Islamist terrorists. They have forced us to change our flying habits, and to suspect everyone who looks like a Muslim or Middle Eastern. There happened to be 2 women in veils on our flight, 1 looked south asian the other looked mid-western, and yet I couldn't help but wonder. I wondered if they might be terrorists, I wondered what would possess them to fly on September 11, and I wondered what I would do if they tried anything. Until I drifted off to sleep, and dreamed about crash landing. Twice.
