Tulsi Gabbard Is NOT A Friend of Conservatives

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend" comes from an ancient Sanskrit proverb that suggests enemies can come together to fight against a common enemy. We've seen this occur most notably during WW11 when Germany betrayed the Soviet Union's pact with the Nazis to divvy up the land between their borders. The Soviets in tandem with the U.S and Britain were instrumental in defeating the Nazis.

It happens quite often when it comes to foreign policy, but the enemy of my enemy is not always our friend- take Tulsi Gabbard. Kudos to her for giving Kamala Harris a pummeling during the 2nd Democratic Debate when she called Kamala out on her abysmal record during her tenure as California Attorney General.

"She put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations, and then laughed about it when she was asked if she’d ever smoked marijuana. She blocked evidence that would have freed a man from death row until the courts forced her to do so. She kept people in prison beyond their sentences to use them as cheap labor for the state of California. And she fought to keep cash bail system in place that impacts poor people in the worst kind of way."

Boom.

And more kudos for giving Hillary Clinton a monumental smackdown in response to HC insinuating Tulsi is a "Russian asset" during a podcast interview with Campaign HQ's David Plouffe.

Hillary Clinton called Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard "the favourite of the Russians" in a recent interview while describing 2016 Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein as "a Russian asset."

During a podcast appearance this week on Campaign HQ with David Plouffe, the former secretary of state and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee did not mention the Hawaii congresswoman by name, but said she believes the Russians have "got their eye on somebody who's currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate."
"She's the favourite of the Russians," Clinton said.

"They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far. And that's assuming Jill Stein will give it up, which she might not because she's also a Russian asset."

The Russians know they can't win without a third-party candidate, Clinton added.
Tulsi responded on Twitter with the following:
The rest of her Tweet:
concerted campaign to destroy my reputation. We wondered who was behind it and why.
"Now we know — it was always you, through your proxies and powerful allies in the corporate media and war machine, afraid of the threat I pose.
"It's now clear that this primary is between you and me. Don't cowardly hide behind your proxies. Join the race directly."
Boom. Again.

And she's not the only one who believes Hillary has her eyes set on a third presidential run in 2020. There has been speculation from others including ex-aide Mark Penn who said as much back in November 2018. I certainly wouldn't be surprised, considering Clinton's power-hungry lifetime goal has always been to sit in the Oval Office. And it makes total sense calling Tulsi a favorite of the Russians. It's straight out of her playbook. After all, Clinton was the catalyst for the whole Russia/Trump collusion fiasco we've lived with for three unbearable years, and the subsequent rush by Democrats and their leftist supporters to call anyone they disagree with a Russian Bot or any variation thereof. So while I can understand why conservatives would come out in support of Tulsi after the Hillary hit- being called a Russian bot/asset or whatnot is irksome as hell- please remember Tulsi is NOT our friend. In many ways, she's as left as the rest of the Democratic presidential hopefuls.

If you haven't done your research I'll help you out a little. But here's her website for more in-depth information on all the issues, including teaming up with Bernie Sanders to raise the minimum wage, gun control, etc.

MEDICARE FOR ALL:  She's a co-sponsor of H.R.1384 - Medicare for All Act of 2019, which would provide universal health care to all Americans. Plus she's on the Medicare for All Caucus.

CLIMATE CHANGE: " Tulsi is a top leader in fighting for urgent action to address climate change." "I support the carbon neutrality goals of the Green New Deal and the awareness it has brought across the country on the critical issues of energy independence and the climate crisis.."

ABORTION RIGHTS:  She supports the right to choose.

And if that's not enough the website Progressive Army talks about just how progressive Tulsi is.

There might be some issues like her non-interventionist foreign policy stance that many conservatives might embrace, but other than that, she's not even a centrist.

Florida Republicans Targets Of Voter Suppression

Democrats always piss and moan about Republican voter suppression and fraud, but they're totally mute when it's the reverse. They seem to think that only Republicans are willing and capable of trying to cheat to get their candidate elected. They cried foul with Florida's hanging chads back in 2000 that won George W. Bush the election, but have conveniently dismissed or forgotten about ACORN in 2008, which handed the White House over to Barack Obama.

So it won't be surprising to not see much fuss about the fact that Florida Republicans (a swing voter state that is needed to win this election) have been targets of voter fraud. It seems that someone has been sending Republicans a letter telling them their citizenship is in question, which would mean they'd be ineligible to vote.

According to Charles Callaghan who received one of those letters, postmarked from Seattle, Washington with no return address:

“Basically, when I read the letter, I got the impression that I was not going to be able to vote, because my citizenship was being questioned." “I wasn’t quite sure why it would be, because I was born in the United States, and I’ve always been a United States citizen, and nothing has changed in my life … that would cause my citizenship to be called into question.”
“I said to my wife, somebody is just trying to keep me from voting." “To put that doubt in my mind that I can’t vote and then not give me a way that I could dispute it — because they didn’t give me a phone number or address — they are thinking I am going to get frustrated and just not go vote. ”

Apparently, many of the people who reported receiving the letters had donated to the Republican Party or candidates, and were told they had 15 days to provide original proof of citizenship to be eligible to vote. Those responsible probably figured people would simply not bother to check out the information, and just not vote.

Florida State is investigating.

“The Florida Department of State unequivocally opposes all attempts at voter fraud or intimidation and will pursue every avenue to ensure free, fair and open elections for all eligible voters,” Florida
[snip]

“We’ve received multiple reports of a fraudulent letter that impersonates supervisors of elections and indicates that eligible voters might be ineligible,” Chris Cate, spokesman for the Division of Elections, explained to the Tampa Bay Times, which reported the letters have gone mostly — if not entirely — to Republicans in the state.

“We’re working with the state’s supervisors of elections, as well law enforcement, to identify the source of the letters and put a stop to them,” Cate said.

Obama and CNN's Crowley Lie About The Benghazi Terrorist Attack During Debate

Obama did not win, as many liberals would like to believe- he was smug, aggressive, mean spirited, and more importantly he flat out lied about Libya and the Benghazi terrorist attack, with the backing of CNN moderator Candy Crowley. Crowley, who showed very obvious favoritism by allowing Obama to interrupt Romney on numerous occasions, and to have more time- 4 minutes, to be exact- told the audience that Obama did indeed call it a terrorist attack in his Rose Garden speech.  Lies!!

See for yourself.  The "Benghazi" Rose Garden statement is on the White House website, but I wonder how long it will remain.
Statement by the President on the Attack in Benghazi
I strongly condemn the outrageous attack on our diplomatic facility in Benghazi, which took the lives of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. Right now, the American people have the families of those we lost in our thoughts and prayers. They exemplified America's commitment to freedom, justice, and partnership with nations and people around the globe, and stand in stark contrast to those who callously took their lives.
I have directed my Administration to provide all necessary resources to support the security of our personnel in Libya, and to increase security at our diplomatic posts around the globe. While the United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others, we must all unequivocally oppose the kind of senseless violence that took the lives of these public servants.
On a personal note, Chris was a courageous and exemplary representative of the United States. Throughout the Libyan revolution, he selflessly served our country and the Libyan people at our mission in Benghazi. As Ambassador in Tripoli, he has supported Libya's transition to democracy. His legacy will endure wherever human beings reach for liberty and justice. I am profoundly grateful for his service to my Administration, and deeply saddened by this loss.
The brave Americans we lost represent the extraordinary service and sacrifices that our civilians make every day around the globe. As we stand united with their families, let us now redouble our own efforts to carry their work forward.
Where is there mention of it being a "terrorist" attack? I see the word "attack" but not "terrorist", and in the second paragraph Obama tells us that  the U.S. "rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others", an obvious reference to the anti-Islam film "Innocence of Muslims."  At that point in time they were trying to make us believe that it was a spontaneous response to the movie.  It took them a very long time before they even acknowledged that it was a terrorist attack.

Lies. Lies. Lies.  Wake up America.

In the video, while talking about 9/11 he does mention "no acts of terror", but it he was definitely not referring to the four killed in Libya.

UPDATE:

And here Crowley confesses she messed up. Conveniently, the damage has already been done.

Re-elect Obama Campaign Staffers Encourage Voter Fraud- Video

The Republicans are always being condemned for voter fraud, but watch this James O'Keefe Project Veritas video and see how the DNC encourages some undercover reporters to vote twice.

Stephanie Caballero, the woman at the beginning of the video who was the field director in the Houston office of  Organizing for America,  has since been fired.

Naughty, naughty.

Sign a letter to Eric Holder to stop voter fraud.

TN Obama "Team Member" Encourages Anti-Mormon "Whisper Campaign"

This election is going to get down and dirty before all is said and done; it already has.  Just watch some of the vicious SuperPAC ads running, and then there's people misquoting- as Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz did a few days ago. But I was waiting for someone to glom onto Mitt Romney's Mormonism, and it looks like that has finally happened.

When the Obama campaign released its much-anticipated Dashboard platform last May, it was touted as a potentially revolutionary organizing tool that would connect supporters, and merge online activism with real-life grassroots campaigning.
It can also be used as a platform to launch whispering campaigns, as one user proved this week.
On Monday, a "team member" named Laurence De Palma, who lists his location as East Nashville, presented volunteers with some talking points to convince Southern Christian voters they shouldn't vote for a Mormon. The message was available under "Resources" and tagged "persuasion."

"I'm thinking that even though we don't LIKE campaigns to get nasty, we in the south (TN) come to EXPECT it," De Palma began. "What we also know is that we have a very 'rigid' view of Christianity, and apparently, Mormonism isn't anywhere in our views. This could easily win TN/SC/AL/GA, etc."
The post goes on to include brief, oversimplified summaries of Mormon doctrines, framed to clash with evangelical Christianity.

Obama's campaign condemned it (at least in public), and has removed the post, but the whole idea has already been set in motion.

According to Buzzfeed, in spite of the fact that the forum allows users to moderate each others posts and flag the ones they deem inappropriate, this one sat there for four days until Buzzfeed brought it to the campaign's attention.  Only then was it removed.

Although both candidates have no control over what their supporters say and do, they do have control over how long a post sits on a campaign dashboard. Condemnation is also within their power.

Romney's camp condemned the action

"The news concerning the Obama Campaign's dashboard containing language based on sowing religious division is deeply disturbing. There is no place in politics for this, and it must be addressed and put to an end."
If the liberals are so concerned about Mormon politicians, maybe they should run Harry Reid out of Vegas, and Sen Tom Udall out of New Mexico, and all the other Mormon Democrats.

Anderson Cooper Rips Into Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (FL-D) For Misquoting

It's not often you see a liberal journalist holding a Democratic politician's feet to the fire, but Anderson Cooper's interview with Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman- Schultz is a thing of beauty.

During his CNN show on Thursday, the host proved that during his “Keeping Them Honest” segment where he ripped into Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) for “misquoting” a Los Angeles Times article in a fundraising email, in which she attempted to tie GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s abortion stance to Rep. Todd Akin’s. Akin came under fire this week from all sides for arguing that women’s bodies can prevent pregnancies in cases of “legitimate rape.”

The email in question argued that the GOP “just voted to embrace Akin’s position by including a constitutional ban on all abortions — even in cases of rape or incest — in their 2012 platform.”

In spite of the fact that Romney supports abortion in cases of rape, incest or the life of the mother is at risk and he condemned Akin's asinine remark, Wasserman-Schultz- like a bull-dog hanging on to its bone- refused to apologize for the misquote.

Kudos to Cooper for persisting, though.

Wasserman-Schultz is such an unpleasant woman.

Political Foul- Dirty Politics In The 2012 Elections

Dirty politics. Happens all the time, especially when campaigns and their PACs take to the airwaves. It's gotten particularly ugly this year, and both sides are guilty of engaging in low down attack ads. But even ABC is willing to admit the worst ad to date is the one by Priorities USA Action that claims Mitt Romney killed steel worker Joe Soptic's wife. But no mention, however, of the tacky ad levied against Allen West in Florida.
However, the Democrats seem to be delving a little deeper into the dirt than the Republicans, at least if the following video is any indication.

Obama Campaign Wants Dirt On Marco Rubio

Last year Barack Obama created 'Attack Watch', a handy little way to snitch on someone for posting something negative about Barack.

Now he's soliciting dirt on potential Mitt Romney vice presidential candidates. This isn't independent PACs, this is actually Obama's campaign asking Florida folk to send the Obama campaign peeps all "the good, bad and ugly" about Senator Marco Rubio. Yes, they want them to go find some dirt on Rubio and report back.

Ashley Walker, director of Obama for America in Florida, blasted out the email Tuesday soliciting unflattering information on Rubio.

“Share what you think the rest of the country should know about what Rubio’s really done in Florida,” Walker wrote, “the good, bad and ugly. And why he’d be a disaster as our next vice president.”

“We know Marco Rubio all the way from his time in the Florida House of Representatives to his election to the U.S. Senate,” Walker continued. “But most Americans don't know him or the extreme, tried-and-failed policies he'd bring with him to a Romney administration. As Floridians, it's our job to share what we know about Marco Rubio with the rest of Americans. Your feedback will help hold Rubio accountable, if and when Romney chooses him.”

In the letter, Walker also accuses Rubio when in the Florida legislature of balancing the state budget by “sticking it to the middle class” and in Congress of leading the way “on almost every extreme position Mitt Romney has embraced.”

“If and when Romney does select him, we need to be able to tell the full story about his record on Day One, which could very well be in the next few days,” according to the letter, reported by Politico. “As one of the architects of the top-down Bush budget, Portman practically invented the policies that punished middle-class families while exploding the deficit, and crashing our economy. ... Let's make sure we're ready.”

Many believe that Rubio is a strong contender for veep position, along with a few others, though Romney has promised a surprise.

They also targeted Ohio's Rob Portman.

Gotta love dirty politics.

"Classless" Attack Ad Shows Allen West Beating Women and Seniors

Congressman Allen West's Democratic opponent Patrick Murphy set up American Sunrise PAC with his rich daddy's money, and produced the uber-tacky ad below. Papa Tom Murphy, Jr (owner of Coastal Construction) donated $250,000 to the PAC.

Note, Patrick didn't even have the guts to enable comments or ratings. Afraid of the response, Patrick?

West had this to say about the "sad state of politics":

"The ad being run against me by my opponent's family depicting violence against women and senior citizens is reprehensible," West said. "It plays on stereotypes and fear to divide Americans, and it cheapens the very real and tragic occurrences of violence against women and seniors. The American people are suffering from crushing debt, horrific tax and regulatory policies, and epic unemployment. This classless ad shows a lack of regard for the issues plaguing our nation."

This year's election has turned very ugly.

All Lies- Priorities USA's AD Claiming Romney Killed Steel Worker's Wife

CNN exposes the blatant lie regarding Obama SuperPac Priorities USA Action's shameful ad blaming Mitt Romney for the death of steel worker Joe Soptic's wife.

Soptic's wife actually died a good FOUR years or so AFTER the plant closed, not 22 days as they would have us believe. And way after Romney had left the day to day operations.

CNN's Brianna Keilar is reporting that steelworker Joe Soptic's wife was insured through her employer, Savers Thrift Store. She was laid off from her job in 2002 or 2003, Soptic told CNN, at which point she lost her health insurance. So it would appear that Joe Soptic's firing had nothing to do with his wife's health insurance.

Priorities USA strategist Bill Burton told Keilar that the super PAC was not attempting to draw the connection between Romney and Soptic's wife's death. But as Keilar pointed out, that's the conclusion that many are drawing.

And the liberal Washington Post fact check awards the ad a whopping 4 out of 4 Pinocchios, and gives a more detailed account of the major misinformation.

I guess every fired employee can now blame every business owner, corporate CEO, and in a bad economy the POTUS, if anything happens to them or their loved ones.

Obama's Negative Campaign Ads- Jake Tapper Video

Obama isn't so squeaky clean as he'd like us to think when it comes to campaign ads. Here's ABC's Jake Tapper with a 'brief history' of Barack Obama's negative campaign ads, dating back to 2000 mind you.

NY Times: "No Evidence" Tying Romney To Bain After 1999

The traditionally liberal New York Times had this to say about Mitt Romney and Bain Capital.

Indeed, no evidence has yet emerged that Mr. Romney exercised his powers at Bain after February 1999 or directed the funds’ investments after he left, although his campaign has declined to say if he attended any meetings or had any other contact with Bain during the period. And financial disclosures filed with the Massachusetts ethics commission show that he drew at least $100,000 in 2001 from Bain Capital Inc. — effectively his own till — as a “former executive” and from other Bain entities as a passive general partner.

An offering memorandum to investors in Bain’s seventh private equity fund that was circulated in June 2000 also suggests that Mr. Romney was no longer actively involved in managing firm investments at the time. The memorandum, first published by Fortune, provides background on the “senior private equity investment professionals of Bain Capital.” Eighteen managers are listed; Mr. Romney is not among them.

On another filing with Massachusetts officials, Bain Capital listed all of Bain’s directors and officers for 2001. The form lists Michael F. Goss as “president, managing director and chief financial officer,” along with seventeen other managing directors. Mr. Romney is not among them, suggesting that while he still owned Bain’s management company, he was not an officer of the company.

By August 2001, Mr. Romney had announced that he would not return to Bain Capital. Talk was already swirling about a bid for Massachusetts governor; behind the scenes, Mr. Romney was negotiating his final departure from Bain. Mr. Romney’s partners agreed to pay him a declining portion of the firm’s profits in buyout deals and other businesses for 10 years. The deal, signed in 2002, incorporated a payout formula reflecting his passive role in the firm from February 1999 forward, officials said.

Will Obama apologize? Nope. In fact, he's ratcheting up the attacks. Would I believe Romney over Obama? You betcha.

So Romney, during his actual tenure at Bain, created a very successful company and is exactly what this country needs.

Dog Wars- Obama's Dog Eating Days versus Romney's Dog On The Rooftop Road Trips

Mitt Romney and family have been receiving a lot of flak for strapping Seamus (the dog) in his carrier (equipped with a windshield ) to the roof of their Chevy Caprice station wagon back in the 1980s during vacation road trips.  One particular incident has garnered the most criticism:  in 1983, while driving twelve hours from Boston to Ontario, Canada, Seamus got 'the runs' and pooped all over himself and the car windows.   Apparently, Mitt stopped at a gas station hosed the doggy and car down, strapped him back up on the roof and continued down the road. Ann Romney has defended her husband claiming Seamus "loved" his rooftop road trips- which is open to debate, and since Seamus is dead and doggy's don't speak, we'll never know. But, because of his questionable dog transport method democrats have been attempting to paint Romney as callous and insensitive.

Back in January David Axelrod, Obama's advisor, tweeted “How loving owners transport their dogs,”  along with a picture of Barack and Bo, the Obama dog. That tweet along with continued criticism of Romney has sparked a virtual on-line 'dog war' thanks to the Daily Caller's post on Obama's Indonesian dog-eating days (excerpt from his book Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance).
:

“With Lolo, I learned how to eat small green chill peppers raw with dinner (plenty of rice), and, away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy). Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths. He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share.”

Yeah, I know, he was a young boy and kids don't always get to choose what they do or don't eat, but Westerners aren't into dog meat and it's probably something he should have kept to himself. And if you're going to shove it, expect to get shoved back, and that shoving has come from the conservative blogosphere.

Naturally many took to the twittersphere:

Chihuahua Allah King #obamadogrecipes #p2 #tcot

Here's more.

And they hit photoshop:

Transporting  your dog on the roof of your car is pretty stupid, but so is writing about eating dog meat, even if it was decades ago.

Hugo Chavez Cronies Lanch Smear Campaign Against Opposition Candidate Henrique Capriles Radonski

The Venezuelan presidential election is scheduled for October 7 this year, and it's already getting ugly. Hugo Chavez and his cronies, who will do anything to remain in power, have resorted to mudslinging to ensure the newly elected opposition leader, 39-year-old Henrique Capriles Radonski, has no chance of becoming president.

Surprisingly, Chavez (not the sharpest knife in the drawer) is letting his stooges do his dirty work for him, and it's nasty.  Capriles, whose maternal grandparents were Jewish, is actually a committed practicing Catholic, but that hasn't stopped Chavez associates from launching anti-Semitic attacks. Of course this is nothing new for the popular governor who won this latest nomination with an overwhelming 60 plus percent of the vote, and who is Venezuela's greatest hope for defeating Chavez in October. Since he became governor of the state of Miranda in 2008, he has been subject to  anti-Semitic slurs, and it looks like  that won't end any time soon. Since anti-Semitism isn't anything new in Venezuela, many believe bringing up his Jewish roots is a way to play into the anti-Semitic/anti-Israel feelings prevalent in that country.

Chavistas obviously fear Capriles' popularity so the attacks started almost immediately after winning the Coalition For Democratic Unity's primary.  First there were the claims that the he's a "bourgeois" and a "fascist".  Chavista Diosdado Cabello, Congress leader, said of Capriles,

'Now we know who is the candidate of imperialism, of capitalism and the right wing. The anti-patriotic candidate has a face. He won't have an easy election campaign.'
In spite of the fact that Capriles considers himself a centre-left 'progressive',  inspired by former Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's form of government.

Then you have the sexual allegations from Mario Silva, the state media commentator on his The Razorblade TV show:

Silva insulted opposition leaders and then read out a purported police document reporting Capriles was caught in a car having sex with another man in 2000. Capriles denied the allegation and said the document was falsified. Police have not commented.

So far, Capriles isn't taking the bait:

'I wasn't elected to fight with anyone but to solve problems. 'The only confrontation I want is against violence, unemployment, corruption and other problems in Venezuela.'

Unfortunately, people are predicting Chavez will still probably win because of his huge support by the poor in Venezuela, but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck Henrique!!

His blog.

UPDATE:

Chavez has stepped into the fray. In a speech today he called Capriles a "low-life... pig" saying "you have a pig's tail, a pig's ears, and you snort like a pig."

His anti-Semitism rears its ugly head. Muslims have often called Jews descendants of apes and pigs.

Stay classy Chavez.

Millionaire Obama Has Nothing In Common With The 99% Who Still Adore Him

This photo has been making the rounds on Facebook, along with all the expected nastiness.

The individual that photoshopped these two pictures together clearly wanted to make everyone think that Romney is completely out of touch with the people compared to Obama. After all, here's millionaire Mitt Romney getting his shoes shined, while Barack Obama is fist-butting, or whatever that gesture is called, the common man.  The problem is, that's no shoeshine man, that's a TSA agent with a security wand doing his thing.

Whether it was a deliberate act to mislead or not, it was enough to cause a maelstrom of anger directed towards not just Romney but the entire Republican lot.  Even when one liberal 'friend' posted that he did not approve of the misleading propaganda, one piped in saying it was fair play because of Republican "lies." Referencing some programme she saw, another launched into a long diatribe about the Republican candidates'  "mansions" and how she believes Obama has her best interests at heart.  She believes he simply wants to put the country back on the right track- including cutting the debt. She went on to say that she believed the right wing wealthy candidates have nothing in common with her or the majority of the country.

Talk about out of touch, both my 'friend' and Obama. My friend is as out of touch because of her woeful, willful ignorance.  Obama, on the other hand is just out of touch because he is who he is. First of all, he's an elitist and a millionaire, to boot. People talk about Obama as though he's one of them, when he's not. He's one of the so-called "1%" along with all the Republicans everyone loves to lambaste:

In 2010 Gingrich paid 31.7% tax on $3,142,066 adjusted gross income, while Obama only paid 26.3% on $1,728,096. Newt Gingrich has a net worth of 7 million, on the other hand Obama has a net worth of 10.5 million.  And it's not like Obama lived in a nice, modest home when he was a Chicago senator.  In 2005 he purchased a home for over 1.5 million dollars, although it's not worth as much due to the housing crash. Obama also takes $4 million vacations, and his wife has a penchant for expensive designer clothes, as frightfully ugly as they might be.

Obama has absolutely nothing in common with my 'friend' or the other 99% who still adore him.

Hypocrite Ron Paul Accuses Newt Gingrich of "Serial Hypocrisy"

Here is Ron Paul calling Newt Gingrich a serial hypocrite in a campaign ad.

And here's what Jeffrey Lord from The American Spectator has to say about Ron Paul's hypocrisy.

Congressman Paul has made much of his opposition to Washington "special interests." But when it comes to funding his political career --where has Congressman Paul gone?

Yes indeed. Hat in hand -- and hand out -- Paul is not a whit different from Newt Gingrich.

Take a spin through these contributions Paul has taken over the years as formally listed by the Federal Elections Commission here.

Interesting, no? Talk about political profiteering! Right there in black and white candidate Ron Paul is recorded as taking money from the Bigs.

The Bigs? Yes, the Bigs:

Big Insurance
Big Banking
Big Medicine
Big Financial Services
Big Beer

And so on and on and on and on through every Big Money special interest out there. Ron Paul takes money from the Builders and Contractors, from AFLAC, from AT&T, from milk producers and Bank of America and… well… take a gander at the very long list yourself.

Granted, none of the listed campaign contributions are recent, but it still proves that Dr. Paul is not the complete "outsider" he claims to be.

Attackwatch.com : Big Brother Obama's Campaign Creates Snitch Website

Cuba has its neighbourhood snitches, now Barack Obama's campaign has created http://www.attackwatch.com/, a website that will allow Obama lovers to report links and comments that are deemed attacks on his fiscal and foreign policy, Israel and jobs, whether true or not.  Oh, and there's a link especially for the GOP.

Their rationale for creating this:

The smears didn’t end with the 2008 election. President Obama’s opponents are still using false allegations against the President and his record in an attempt to derail the momentum of this movement.

That’s why we’re launching Attack Watch—to provide a hub for the facts and fight back with the truth.

But we can’t do it alone. We need your help to render these attacks ineffective and expose them as the worst kind of politics. There are lots of ways to get involved: join our Attack Wire to stay up to date on the latest from our opponents, help spread the President’s message by signing up to volunteer, or donate to support this site and the campaign as a whole.

Check this news feed for updates in the coming weeks, and be sure to follow @AttackWatch on Twitter for breaking news as it happens.
I find it all rather chilling, and somewhat pathetic. Of course, this is nothing new. Back on his first go-round he established his other snitch-site http://www.fightthesmears.com/.

Misfitpolitics takes a stab at the whole issue in the following video.

Watching Out For Voter Fraud In The 2010 Mid-Term Elections

I never thought my beloved country would ever stoop to voter fraud to ensure a particular candidate would win over another, but considering it has happened in the past, including during the 2008 elections, thanks to ACORN, we can rest assured it will more than likely happen again during these 2010 mid-terms. There is way too much at stake, so it is incumbent upon us all to make sure that with the many tight-races occurring nationwide, that someone doesn't win as a result of fraudulent activity. An election should be won fair and square, regardless of whether or not we like the results, but since the Democratic Party has far more to lose, in many ways, my bets are on them, and this time they have SEIU on their side.

The following conservative website has been established specifically for reporting any voter fraud that you might encounter on election day. Keep those eyes and ears open.

Dirty Politics- The 2010 MidTerm Elections

Midterm elections are upon us and I've never seen it quite as down and dirty. On both sides, mind you. More than likely it has to do with the fact that both the Democratic and Republican Parties have much to lose, or gain, depending on your political perspective. The right is trying to dig its way back from the major losses it incurred in 2008 from an Obama win that should never have happened. I blame that on all the disenfranchised Republicans and Independents who chose to sit out the 2008 election or vote Third Party simply because they hated John McCain more than they wanted to retain control. I warned people about that foolish decision- that punishing the Republican Party would ultimately punish the American people, and we are now suffering the consequences.

But the miserable past few years have now galvanized the conservatives into action- the Tea Party movement (which really isn't a Party at all, so they claim) emerged, and people are ready to vote the bums in our government out. However, in their over-zealous efforts to not repeat the mistakes of the past, people blindly voted for a few duds that the Tea Party backed, and who have no chance in hell of ever getting elected. Christine O'Donnell comes to mind, to name a few. While I'm sure she's a lovely woman there is no way the woman will win. I could be wrong but I doubt it. She's way too fringe for the the majority of moderates, independents and liberals, who I believe make up the majority of the American people. Perhaps this will serve as a lesson to the Tea Party elite, that it's ultra important to vet a candidate before you put all your efforts into ensuring they get the nomination. Mike Castle in Delaware, although considered a RINO by many, would have at least voted 70 to 80% of the time with the Republicans, as opposed to the 0% of the time which will happen if as-left-as-you-can-get Chris Coons wins. I'd be much happier with 80% than zippo%, but some people can't quite fathom the importance of that distinction. Then we have Nevada's Harry Reid who should have been dead in the water, but it's looking like he might just retain that seat, thanks to another tea Party favorite who is just too far right for most.

As for the liberals, they're desperately trying to hold on to control of the House and Senate. Thankfully, it looks like that won't happen with the House, but they're doing their damnedest to hold on to the Senate, and doing whatever they can to make sure they don't lose it all.

Politics have always been dirty, and those who started off with a relatively respectful campaign were dragged into a much more negative stance by their opponents. Florida Republican Congressman, LtC Allen West's TV ad's eventually turned negative in response to his Democratic opponent Ron Klein's vicious attacks. The Democrats, in fact, stooped so low that they released West's social security number on an anti-West flyer. Klein's reps claim ignorance, but the flyer included an Indiana tax lien West took 4 months to pay off with the social security number clearly visible, and the lien issue has been prominently featured in all of Klein's rancorous TV ads. I sincerely doubt he wasn't aware of the flyer's contents.

It's too bad we can't have civility in politics, but with a President as polarizing as the one we currently have in office, we can't expect much. All I know is I will be ecstatic come November 3rd, whatever happens.

Dirty Politics- New Low With Gawker's Publication Of Christine O'Donnell "One Night Stand"

Even as Republican I am no fan of Christine O'Donnell. The Tea Party made a huge mistake by not vetting a few of its candidates who should never have won in the first place, including O'Donnell. And even though she has no chance in hell of winning the Delaware Senate seat that Mike Castle could have handily won, people are stooping to new lows to seal the deal. Politics can get nasty and ugly, but this goes beyond the pale and both sides of the fence are condemning it.

Gawker, a U.S. blog, published an anonymous story about an alleged "one-night stand" that some lowlife claims he had with O'Donnell three years ago. This unnamed 25-year-old Philadelphia jerk was paid 'low four-figures' for this information.

First of all, the fact that they paid for the story and that the pig wasn't even named makes the whole story suspect. In the post he claims she was 'a decent kisser' but that she claimed she was a virgin, as if that should be something to condemn.

He also claims the two did not have sex and makes intimate comments about her body and grooming.

Thankfully, fan or not of O'Donnell, people have condemned Gawker for publishing the story.

'Gawker hits O'Donnell while she's down,' wrote The Atlantic.

In a column for the Huffington Post, author Danielle Crittendon wrote: 'This whole story reeks as a pre-election plant, and Gawker should own up to the identity of this cowardly sexual creep.'

Meghan McCain, daughter of Senator John McCain, Tweeted: 'I am no fan of O'Donnell but what Gawker has done is disgusting and vile, and once again not showcasing the real issues in this election.'

She added: 'This is the exact reason why women don't want to run for office in this country... Anybody saying there isn't a double standard for how the media treats women versus men running for office isn't living in reality.'

The National Organisation for Women (NOW) initially refused to comment, since they are endorsing O'Donnell's opponent Coons, but eventually wrote a statement condemned condemning the story.

It issued a statement tonight stating that 'sexist, misogynist attacks against women have no place in the electoral process.'

The organisation's president Terry O’Neill said: 'NOW repudiates Gawker’s decision to run this piece. It operates as public sexual harassment. And like all sexual harassment, it targets not only O’Donnell, but all women contemplating stepping into the public sphere.
Gawker claims they know who the man is and verified his connections to O'Donnell, but that doesn't mean the story is true, especially in light of the fact they did not get a sworn affidavit. Even though there are pictures of O'Donnell in a silly Lady Bug outfit that he supposedly provided Gawker, it still doesn't mean the actual story is true.

O'Donnell is certainly bizarre, and didn't deserve the nomination to begin with, but she also doesn't deserve this, especially since everyone knows there is no way she will win. This is just another demonstration of dirty politics, and in this case it's despicably low.
