CAIR Files Complaints Against DHL For Firing Muslims Over Prayer Breaks

Council on Islamic-American Relations (CAIR-Cincinnati) has filed complaints against DHL in Hebron, KY for firing Muslims over taking time out to pray after their flextime was changed and they prayed anyway.  24 were fired and CAIR has filed 11 complaints so far with the EEOC. It will sue if nothing is resolved.

Muslims better be careful, they might find themselves unable to get jobs. Pray on your own time, if you want to be gainfully employed.

Interview with some of the fired employees.

The Hypocrisy of Firing Lesbian Phys-Ed Teacher From Catholic High School

A little hypocrisy from the Catholic Church.

After 19 years with Bishop Watterson High School Carla Hale, a lesbian phys-ed teacher, was fired because of her sexuality.

The private life of former Bishop Watterson High School educator Carla Hale became public when her female partner was listed as a surviving family member in her mother’s obituary.
Soon after the article was published, a parent anonymously notified the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus about Hale’s sexuality.

The outraged parent wrote:

"I was shocked by what I saw. It had her teacher's name and that of her 'spouse' listed. It was two females. How can the Diocese of Columbus allow this?"

Hale was pink-slipped a week later.  Her attorney filed a grievance and Hale met with school Principal Marian Hutson as the first step in that process.

The reason she was given for being fired, in the initial termination letter, was:

"Your written spousal relationship violates the moral laws of the Catholic Church."

Um, the rampant pedophilia within the priesthood violates moral laws, and yet pedophile priests have been shuffled around parishes for decades.  Had she been messing around with young girls I would say fire her ass and jail her, but that's not the case.

After Hales meeting with Hutson, and in response to the grievance, Hutson insisted the firing had nothing to do with her being gay, but rather her "spousal situation."

The Diocese also responded to criticism for the firing:

The Catholic Diocese of Columbus sent the following statement to ABC 6/FOX 28 regarding Hale's firing: "Personnel matters remain confidential by policy of the Diocese of Columbus, and thus cannot be discussed in specific terms by diocesan staff, even cases that are working their way through grievance procedures and/or have gained significant publicity. "However, what can be said in general terms is that all Catholic school personnel at the outset of their employment agree that they will abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of the Catholic Diocese, including respecting the moral values advanced by the teachings of Christ. "The Catholic Church respects the fundamental dignity of all persons, but also must insist that those in its employ respect the tenets of the Church. Personnel who choose to publicly espouse relationships or principles that are contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church cannot, ultimately, remain in the employ of the Church."

If this is the case, then they do have a right to fire someone who does not abide by their tenets. However, it's still hypocrisy.

Hale has had overwhelming support from the community and students, and a petition was created on Change.org asking for her to be reinstated:

“Reinstate faculty member Carla Hale and apologize for discriminating against her on the basis of sexuality.”
“She was a teacher who cared for her students and treated each one with respect. The diocese, however, did not reciprocate that respect in its treatment of her.”

Chardon High Killer Gets Life In Prison- Shows No Remorse

Thomas "T.J." Lane, the Ohio kid who in February 2012 shot six fellow students in the Chardon High School cafeteria killing three and wounding three- one of whom will be wheelchair-bound for life- has been sentenced to three life sentences without the possibility of parole.

Too bad the 18-year-old Lane wasn't eligible for the death sentence. He deserved it,  particularly after his demeanor at the sentencing where he showed up with a prison t-shirt with "killer" scrawled on the front, smirked while the families gave their final words, and responded with  "The hand that pulls the trigger that killed your sons now masturbates to the memory. Fuck all of you!" and then ended by flipping the families off.

He showed absolutely no remorse for killing Russell King Jr., Daniel Parmertor and Demetrius Hewlin.

And he gets to live, while we waste taxpayer money on his miserable life.  We can't even blame this on mental illness since he was found to be mentally competent and not insane.  Just downright evil.

He plans on appealing the life sentence.

What the heck is wrong with the youth today?

More Potential Voter Fraud In Ohio

And we have even more potential voter fraud in another must-win state- Ohio. Of course, this is not at all surprising. Democrats are desperate at this point because Barack Obama isn't miles ahead of Mitt Romney at this juncture, and they were convinced he would be.

According to Human Events, van and bus loads of non-English speaking Somali people are being transported to polling stations in Ohio, for early voting, and are being told who to vote for by Democratic get-out-the-vote volunteer interpreters.

An anonymous poll worker at the Morse Road voting station told Human Events that the Somali "voters" are being given a voter "slate card" and told by the Democrats to “vote Brown all the way down.” Sherrod Brown is running for re-election there, so it's assumed they are referring to her. And though there were plenty of Democratic interpreters, there was not one Republican in sight.

I had no idea, but Ohio has one of the largest Somali populations in the U.S., outside of Minnesota. Around 45,000 live in Ohio, so that could mean some nice votes for Obama. Problem is, who knows how many of them are even citizens. Human Events checked on the Somali Community Association of Ohio's website and:

Only 40 percent have become citizens of the United States, and only 25 percent speak English well enough to get a job.

Apparently, though people who do not speak English are allowed the use of an interpreter, those interpreters are not allowed to tell them who to vote for. Another anonymous volunteer poll worker told Human Events she also saw Democratic interpreters telling the Somali voters how and who to vote for. And it looks like they aren't doing much to ensure that the voters are actually citizens. Sara Marie Brenner of Human Events writes:

The voter is not required to show the driver’s license or social security card, but must merely write it on the absentee ballot request form. While the individual would be required to show a utility bill, bank statement or other printed document if he or she chooses that option, this is in lieu of writing the driver’s license or social security number. Therefore, the information cannot be checked against the Bureau of Motor Vehicles or other state databases. Essentially, a person is asked to check a box stating that they are a citizen, and the poll worker is to trust that they are the person who is listed on the item being shown or the information being written. In other words, someone can be an illegal resident of the state of Ohio and the United States, get an apartment, turn on the heat, bring in the Columbia Gas bill, register to vote by the deadline, and vote by showing that same bill. There is then no verification that this individual is a citizen of the United States.

Matt McClellan, the press secretary for Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted, explained, “There is a process to challenge a voter’s eligibility. The point in time for a challenge to be brought ended mid October. A poll worker could challenge a voter if they had questions as to whether or not a voter was registered or eligible to vote.” However, if the poll worker does not raise the issue at the time the voting occurs, that person’s vote will otherwise be counted on election day along with everyone else’s vote. McClellan was not aware of any reports of irregularities at the Morse Road voting place in Franklin County.

Two phone calls and a text message to the Public Information Office at the Franklin County Board of Elections were not returned.

And that's not all, there has also been voter intimidation at the same voting station, according to one of the anonymous poll workers.

A Mitt Romney bus stopped near the voting center, approximately 30 Democrats who were outside handing out the slate cards rushed over to the bus. They yelled at the bus, and swarmed around its door when anyone attempted to exit the bus.

Of course, voter intimidation isn't anything new. Remember, the Black Panthers in Philadelphia in 2008?

Not that there hasn't been voter fraud problems perpetrated by Republicans, it's just that when it's conservatives doing something inappropriate, their actions get prime time exposure, the Democrats don't.

Five Ohio Anarchists Busted By FBI For Trying To Blow Up Bridge

The five Ohio anarchists, who had planned on blowing up a bridge in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Cleveland, look like they could have stepped right out of Central Casting.  When I think of anarchists I think young, scruffy and stupid, like 20-year-old Connor Stevens, 23-year-old Joshua Stafford, 20-year-old Brandon Baxter and 26-year-old Douglas Wright, but Anthony Hayne is 35 and old enough to know better. As for stupid- apparently blowing up bridges, in their minds, does not constitute terrorism. And disrupting corporate America by blowing up a bridge downtown (which is what they had initially wanted to do) also effects your ordinary working schlub- a fellow 99%er in need of that weekly paycheck to pay his/her mortgage, and put food on the table for his/her kids. It seems that thought eluded them.

"Taking out a bridge in the business district... would cost the corporate big wigs a lot of money not just because of structural damage to the bridge but because it's going to stop a lot of people going to work," Brandon Baxter, 20, allegedly said in a secretly recorded conversation.

Apparently an informant alerted the FBI after the 'anarchist five' complained about their cohorts not wanting to "act violently", not enough action I guess, and so the group was infiltrated back in October by the Feds. For months they plotted how best to harm "Corporate America and the financial system,", they purchased explosives (which they had no clue did not work) and fretted about which target would be best:
They initially plotted to distract the police with smoke grenades while knocking signs off bank buildings, but decided there weren't enough people in Cleveland willing to participate in a riot.

Some of the other plots discussed were: targeting the headquarters of a neo-Nazi or Ku Klux Clan group; attacking a hospital or bank with stink bombs, explosives or paint guns; sinking a cargo ship; derailing a train; and action at the G8 summit in Chicago or the Republican convention in Florida.

They eventually settled on the plot to blow up a bridge that spans the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, although they had also discussed blowing up a bridge downtown.

Once the decision was made, they asked the informant to help them obtain the explosive materials and riot gear. Wright, naturally, said he could raise the funds selling pot. Even though they claimed they were not terrorists and didn't want to physically harm anyone, use of explosives anywhere leaves the possibility of injury.

They were arrested and charged with "conspiracy and attempted use of explosive materials to damage physical property affecting interstate commerce", after they attempted to detonate the inoperable bombs, which means prosecutors won't have too much trouble getting them a nice 8x12 in the slammer.

"The complaint in this case alleges that the defendants took specific and defined actions to further a terrorist plot," said Steven Dettelbach, US Attorney for the northern district of Ohio.

"The defendants stand charged based not upon any words or beliefs they might espouse, but based upon their own plans and actions."

Adios Anarchists.
