Bill Maher Confronts Howard Dean After Claiming Muslim Terrorists Are As Muslim As He Is

Bill Maher ripped fellow uber-liberal, former presidential hopeful Howard Dean- infamous for that campaign scream, oh so long ago- for claiming, during the aftermath of the Charlie Hebdo and Kosher deli massacres, that Muslim terrorists aren't, well, Muslim. Of course, he's not alone, but it's good to see Maher take him to task.

Howard Dean had said that the terrorists in Paris were "about as Muslim as I am," and after being confronted by Maher, he comes up with a pretty darn stupid explanation for why he believes that.

Interesting note- the audience kept applauding Dean.

Video on Mediaite.

And for a little humor, here's someones remix of that Dean scream.

Imagine if he had actually won the 2004 presidential elections.

Paris Massacres Blamed on Jewish Shape-Shifters

You can rest assured that whenever some horrific Islamist terrorist act (or actually any violent act) occurs, the conspiracy theorists crawl out of their caves and start blaming events on either the Jews, the Illuminati, or the U.S. government. Or a combination of all three. And yes, the Charlie Hebdo, and Kosher deli massacres in Paris are no different. This time, it's being blamed on the Jews and in one case on magical Jewish shape-shifters by one French-Algerian wacko.

A Daily Beast reporter told MSNBC that she had received that explanation while surveying people about the attacks that left 17 people dead, including four Jewish men, in Paris’s immigrant sections.
Many people, Dana Kennedy said, were of the opinion that Jews had staged the series of deadly terror incidents to make Muslims look bad, though one went even further with his explanation.
“One person told me that they weren’t just regular Jews that were doing this but in fact but a race of magical shape-shifting Jews that were master manipulators that could be everywhere at the same time,” Kennedy said.
In spite of the fact that Cherif and Said Kouachi were avenging their Prophet Mohammed, al-Qaeda in Yemen claimed responsibility for the Charlie Hebdo massacre, and Amedy Coulibaly was an ISIS member who hated Jews.

Kennedy has some interesting things to say about those French Muslims. Those wretched Muslim ghettos they're supposed to be living in?  Not so bad.

Kennedy also reported that the housing projects where many Muslim immigrants live, and that are often described as being so downtrodden they provoke desperate acts by residents, appear to be much better than poor housing projects in other places around the world, including the US.
“It was shocking to see these young Muslims with so much hatred towards the Jews and also to America, and they are also in areas that are portrayed as being these desperate areas but in fact they don’t look really so terrible,” Kennedy said.
But it's not just Muslims who blame things on Jews. Many non-Muslim Western conspiracy theorists do the same thing.

More here.  Video with Kennedy.

Dutch Muslim Mayor Tells Muslims Who Don't Want Freedom- "F**k Off" "Pack your bags and leave"

The Moroccan-born mayor of Rotterdam, Ahmed Aboutaleb, got it right when he told fellow Muslims in the Netherlands that if they don't want the freedom that is part and parcel of living in the West, then  "pack your bags and leave."  He came out with that pithy remark right after the Charlie Hebdo massacre in Paris. he also told them to eff-off.

According to the U.K. Daily Mail, Aboutaleb was quoted as saying on live Dutch TV:

“It is incomprehensible that you can turn against freedom." “But if you don’t like freedom, for heaven’s sake pack your bags and leave.”

“..and if you can't accept humorists who create a newspaper, then I would like to say f*** off.”

This is stupid, this so incomprehensible. Vanish from the Netherlands if you cannot find your place here. All those well-meaning Muslims here will now be stared at'.
53-year-old Aboutaleb was a journalist before eventually becoming mayor in 2008.

His message to immigrants:
'stop seeing yourself as victims, and if you don't want to integrate, leave'.

Yes. His is a voice of reason. We need more Aboutalebs. Though who knows how long he'll last being this outspoken.

Jon Stewart Skewers Obama & Holder For Not Attending Paris Rally

Liberal Jon Stewart of Comedy Central skewered Barack Obama and Eric Holder for not joining around 50 world leaders at the Paris rally of unity against terrorism that took place days after the Charlie Hebdo massacre in the city.

He takes time to poke fun at the French, but then  relevant comments start at the 4:30 mark.

40 Foreign Leaders And No Obama At Paris Rally For Freedom- Video of Rally

Almost 2 million people attended a rally in Paris celebrating free speech and solidarity. They gathered in the Place de la Republique in front of the statue of Marianne- symbol of the triumph of the Republic- holding an olive branch in one hand and the rights of man in the other.

Jews, Muslims, Christians and more than 40 heads of states were there, minus one glaring absence- Barack Obama. Where was he?  If his ego was too inflated to stand in solidarity with 40 foreign leaders, couldn't he have sent John Kerry. Obama sent three White House officials to the Michael Brown funeral, couldn't he have spared one person?  I'm thinking Europe might not be so enamored of the man.

What an embarrassment.  Shameful.

Hacktivist Group Anonymous To Target Jihadists Over Charlie Hebdo Massacre #OpCharlieHebdo

Every once in a while the hacktivist group Anonymous does the right thing, though more often than not they don't. They've taken on the Westboro Baptist Church wackos, and pedophiles, and now they're after terrorists.  Prompted by the Charlie Hebdo massacre, Anonymous is launching Operation Charlie Hebdo #OpCharlieHebdo. A video and statement posted on the Belgian Twitter account is "a message for al-Qaeda, the Islamic State and other terrorists"

In the clip, a figure wearing the group's symbolic Guy Fawkes mask is seated in front of a desk with the hashtag #OpCharlieHebdo - which stands for Operation Charlie Hebdo - featured on screen.

The figure, whose voice is obscured says: "We are declaring war against you, the terrorists."

They add that the group will track down and close all accounts on social networks related to terrorists in order to avenge those who have been killed.

This is backed up with a statement entitled "a message to the enemies of freedom of expression" posted to Pastebin, the hacker collective offered their condolences to "the families of the victims of this cowardly and despicable act".

They write "freedom of expression has suffered inhuman assault ... and it is our duty to react".
Anonymous are a group comprised of activists and hackers who claim to defend and protect democracy.

Video on Telegraph UK.

But this isn't the first time they've targeted terrorists, though. Last year they threatened ISIS with #OpIceISIS, and they're stronger than ever.

Good luck to them.
