"14 Questions I'd Ask Hillary After I Hooked Her Up to a Lie Detector"

Heard about this article on a local radio talk show, and thought I would share. Written by John Hawkins and posted at Townhall, it's entitled:

14 Questions I'd Ask Hillary After I Hooked Her Up to a Lie Detector

I'll post the 1st 4 questions, but I would highly recommend reading them all.

Few politicians in America have as much scandal, sleaze, and controversy surrounding them as Hillary Clinton and perhaps none of them, with the exception of her husband, has been given a bigger free pass.

As Peggy Noonan once said, "People have pointed out (Hillary's) ethical lapses for so long that they seem boring, or impossible to believe. ‘That couldn't be true or she wouldn't be running for president.’ This thought collides with ‘And we already know all this anyway.’ Her campaign uses the latter to squash the latest: ‘old news,’ ‘cash or rehash.’

That is indeed how it works with Hillary Clinton's campaign, but nobody who is running for the presidency in the era of the blogosphere and YouTube should be allowed to skate on the controversial issues.

With that in mind, here are 14 yes or no questions I'd like to ask Hillary after I hooked her up to a polygraph machine, assuming that she hasn't gotten so good at lying that she could beat the machine.

A Culture Of Corruption

1) Your former friend and business partner, James McDougal, claimed that "he and a longtime businessman at McDougal's S&L, Henry Hamilton, 'developed a system to pass money to Clinton.' Did you or your husband ever take payoffs from your friend James McDougal?

2) While you were with the Rose Law Firm, you personally worked on a document that was used to "obfuscate and hide the fraudulent nature" of a piece of the Whitewater land swindle. Did you know that the document you were working on was going to be used for illegal purposes?

3) Your Rose Law Firm billing records were removed from Vince Foster's office after his death. Those records were "(m)issing and under subpoena for two years (and) they turned up in January 1996 in the Clintons' private quarters at the White House." Whoever took those records committed a crime by obstructing justice. Despite the fact that your records were taken and eventually turned up in your private quarters, you have denied taking the records or having anyone take them for you. Is that true?

4) Clinton supporter David Hale claimed that your husband pressured him into making a "fraudulent $300,000 federally backed loan to Susan McDougal, some of which went into Whitewater Development Corp." Did your husband pressure David Hale into making that fraudulent loan?

I'd like to hear a plain "yes" or "no" out of Madame Clinton's mouth, but that will never happen!

You're right, Incog. We'll never know the true extent of the corruption levels for the Clintons. They have lived this life for so long I don't think they know how to be truthful. About anything.

They blow the way the wind does !

KAREN: You're absolutely right.. at least with Bill.. I think he truly believes his lies.. you tell 'em long enough and you begin to believe them. But they're great questions.

FRASY: Well me too.. but then no-one would vote for them.

ok incog i have a fear in dredging all this stuff up again... yes we know she is sneeky... but if the republicans try to "nail" them both (her and slick willie) on the old charges i say they can use the victim card of poor little ole them getting picked on.. it worked for bill before.... giving her some unneeded sympathy...i say she will wear on people simply by being who she is. why make a martyr out of her.... my take!!!!

OH sure, we'll hear the old "Swift Boating" and piling on complaint from Hillary & co. I don't think she is capable of telling the truth from fiction any more and the shame is that not everyone can see her cover ups and feel the way we do. Did you see the Michael Keys portion of the Debate last night? Our black is more right than their black candidate. MUD

UGH!! I cannot believe that we may have to deal with the Clinton's AGAIN! (I pray we do not.) It is like a bad nightmare. I cannot believe that anyone would want to put her in office...and have to put the country through all of this again! What is insanity? Doing the same thing and expecting different results!!!

I'd like to know how independent she will be from Mr. Clinton or is this buy 1 get 2 for free?

I'm not 100% sure what it will take to turn this Ship of State a different direction, but I will remind everyone of the age old saying that applies to the Clinton's, "Do what you did and you'll get what you got." NRA - Never Re-elect Anyone. MUD

well, goodness... wonder what happened to my response! Well here goes again.. and will respond to a few new ones.

AI: I initially thanked you for your heads up and said I would check it out. well, I did. Thanks. Some interesting stuff on there. I've bookmarked it for future reference.

PATJ: At least it isn't other candidates. Just old me trying to enlighten any dems that might stumble upon my humble blog. :-)

MUD: As I had mentioned in what I thought was a response... unfortunately, I did not see the debate. But I heard that both dems and rrepubs were quite tame.

MONDAY: I agree.. but many people are planning to vote for her because of Bill. we know he'll be running the country from behind the scenes. and I have no idea why they'd want him either. Love your definition of insanity. :-)

LIZZE: Heh... yup. Buy 1 get 1 free.... She won't be independent at all.. and I think that's what she's banking on. She will be able to turn to him when she's totally stumped, because of lack of experience.

MUD: :-) so true... so very true. Let's hope people are astute enough to understand the consequences.

Now that would be some interesting listening. The Hildebeeste in the hot seat in front of a journalist with the cahones to ask her those four questions rather than the ones she gets her plants to come up with...LOL
Seriously, we all know what Hillary is all about. What's amazing is that she has any support at all. I can think of a million reasons why we wouldn't want a liar with connections with the underworld in the Whitehouse.

Incognito said...

It would indeed, Aurora. She could never answer yes or no. I'm not sure why people still consider voting for her. Dad?
