Clinton Gets MSNBC Correspondent Suspended

I was going to beg off Madame Clinton for a while, but there always seems to be something she says or does that changes my mind!

Frankly, I'm tired of all her shenanigans- her faux tears, her inability to take the heat, or any criticism. Now she has had an MSNBC correspondent (David Shuster) suspended for commenting on how Hillary has "pimped out" her daughter Chelsea, by getting her to make phone calls on her behalf.

Okay- stupid comment, somewhat offensive, but it goes with the territory Hillary! You are always going to be criticized. That's what happens to those in power, particularly in government. And what happened to free speech, pray tell? Are we all going to be jailed because we criticize her if, God forbid, she happens to get elected?! I find that a terribly dangerous precedent. Not that I have any love for any of those ultra-liberal MSNBC correspondents. And is she going to throw a hissy fit because some foreign dignitary says something negative about her? Is this really what you all want? Because that's what you're going to get if you throw the election to her by not voting or actually voting for her, like Ann Coulter has threatened to do. There's a possibility that Obama might get the nomination, and we'd certainly have a more pleasant and stable person in Barack, but he's even more liberal than Hillary, so who wants that either.

Then we have the irresponsible Dr. Dobson throwing his support to Huckabee simply because he's a Christian, even though he's another Jimmy Carter and more liberal than McCain, in many ways. We're voting for a President not a preacher, as Karen at Pondering Penguin so eloquently put it, a while back.

Think about it folks, Obama, Clinton, Huckabee or McCain. I know who I'd prefer!

Exactly incog and isn't Obama gaining momentum ... sigh ... "Think about it folks, Obama, Clinton, Huckabee or McCain"? Thank you...

Are you afraid to say who you are supporting after the Rudy withdrawal?
Better than the McCain you know than the Obama you don't. We all know the Clinton's and their tricks so if we get them look out for more of the same. MUD

Thanks for the kind mention, Incog. We'll see if the Republicans come together for the good of the country or continue with the bruised ego routines. And Huckabee? I'm convinced it is all about the money and recognition for him these days. Campaign contributions and future book deals, plus a prominent spot speaking at the summer convention. What a guy, huh.

I do think you are right about Dobson!! I do not think people realize how many people count what he says like it is God. It will make a difference with the evangelical vote..unfortunately.

WHT: Me too Angel.

LIZZE: Heh... and I know who you want to win.. ;-)

MONDAY: I have no problem with people being religious, but it's so very important to keep politics and religion separate or we are no better than those countries who practice sharia.

PATJ: Well... get used to it buddy... cos it's gonna be Mccain.. :-) and I'm fine with that.. better than the other options. unless someone rides in out of nowhere.. and what are the odds of that? then again..

I thought the over reaction to the MSNBC thing was unbelievable. And I was extremely irritated at Dobson for endorsing the Huckster. But I don't think it makes much of a difference except for further lowering my respect level for Dobson.

Yes, unfortunately we are stuck with McCain but the problem is McCain like s to stab Republicans in the back almost as much as liberals do. No matter who wins this election our country is not going to be under great leadership. Many of us will probably hold our nose and vote for McCain but the empty suit Obama is poised to probably walk away with it. Depressing no matter how you look a t it.
