Haaretz Lied About Rihanna Giving Nod To Palestine During Israel Concert- Retracts Story

The singer Rihanna has been at the center of quite a bit of controversy during her recent Middle East tour. It started in Abu Dhabi where she was tossed out of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque for taking some "inappropriate" selfies before her scheduled concert there, and then posting the photos on her Instagram account.  She's actually covered from head to toe, but that wasn't enough to stop the usual suspects from becoming offended.

Then she pissed off the Boycott Israel crowd by performing in Israel, so much so that the ultra liberal Haaretz newspaper felt the need to fabricate a story. In an article titled “All Rihanna sees ‘is Palestine’, but Israelis didn’t seem to care,” Haaretz claimed that in her song "Pour it up" she switched the lyrics from "All I see is dollar signs" to "All I see is Palestine," and that "she just kept inserting calls of “Tel Aviv!” in every song – never once saying the word Israel.”  Problem is, Michael Dickson of StandWithUs was at that same concert, and although she did keep throwing in "Tel Aviv"- since that's the town she was playing in, and that's usually what musicians do, mention the town not the country- he never heard her say "Palestine."  But it wasn't just Haaretz, The Huffington Post picked up on the Haaretz story and posted it there, titled: "Rihanna's Tel Aviv Concert Includes Nod To Palestine." Dickson, troubled by what he read, wrote a piece for The Times of Israel regarding what seemed to be a complete fabrication, mentioning he had tried contacting Haaretz for either a back up of the claim or retraction, and was being ignored.  Then a video of the concert surfaced which clearly shows she did NOT, after all, give a nod to Palestine, and this eventually led to a retraction by Haaretz and Huffington Post, along with a change of title on Haaretz, but not on Huffpo.

Shameful for HuffPo to not even do due diligence by checking out the video before reporting on the story, and even more shameful for Haaretz to have posted an outright lie.

Here's Dickson's thorough rundown including the video and updates.

Huffpo Predicts Perverse #Twogging Will Be The Next Internet Dance Craze

Twerking has become the latest dance fad for those, including Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus, who think shaking their booty is somehow sexy. People have flooded Youtube with videos of their gyrating butts. But it's not sexy, it's obscene. Now "Twerking" has devolved into a horrifyingly disgusting fad that the Huffington Post has coined  #twogging. Yes, it's #twerking on or with dogs. Huffpo seems to think it's funny and has compiled a video of young women twogging away with their canine friends, but it's basically one step from bestiality, and Huffpo somehow thinks this is newsworthy.

In the above video we have compiled several examples of this new trend. If, after watching the video, you feel compelled to try it out yourself, we encourage you practice safe #twogging by only performing for canines you have a previous relationship with and are sure will not be startled into aggression by having an ass shaken in their face.

I refuse to post the video here, it was so appalling, so I am just linking to Huffpo's article, where you can see the video for yourself, if you so choose. They predict it will be the next Internet craze, and, sadly, they are probably right.

This is why our country is looked upon as a sick and perverse nation.

Obama's Bin Laden Ad "Despicable" Says HuffPo's Arianna Huffington

Since the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden is the only real major accomplishment of Barack Obama's 3 plus year's in office, it's obvious he would try to capitalize on that achievement. Had he been smart, he would have simply bragged about dispensing with the most wanted man on earth during his tenure in his campaign ads. But no, he had to copy Hillary Clinton's  3 a.m. phone call ad, which obviously did her no good.
He obviously misjudged how people would react to his Bin Laden ad (his version of  the "3 a.m. call"), which calls into question whether Mitt Romney would have had the cojones to order the raid.  And when queen of the liberal blogosphere Arianna Huffington, of the Huffington Post, calls it "despicable", you know he made a huge mistake.
Appearing on CBS News, Arianna Huffington said there should not be an ad questioning whether presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney would’ve ordered the raid against the Al-Qaeda leader last year.
“I don’t think there should be an ad about that,” Huffington told CBS News. “I think it’s one thing to celebrate the fact that they did such a great job (with television specials). All that is perfectly legitimate. But to turn it into a campaign ad is one of the most despicable things you can do.”
The new web video questions whether Romney would have taken the same path Obama did. It features a quote from a 2007 Romney interview in which he said it was not worth “moving heaven and earth spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person.”

“(The ad) quotes a snippet from Romney and uses that to imply that Romney would not has been as decisive,” Huffington told CBS News. “There’s no way to know whether Romney would have been as decisive. To actually speculate that he wouldn’t be is, to me, not the way to run a campaign, on either side.”
Not that we can assume this means Romney has Huffington's vote. I sincerely doubt it, but it's interesting she bothered to criticize Obama for that misstep.
Romney's camp obviously chimed in as well calling the video divisive:
“It’s now sad to see the Obama campaign seek to use an event that unified our country to once again divide us, in order to distract voters’ attention from the failures of his administration,” Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul said.
Jay Carney (White House spokesman) naturally defended their tactic:
“I think the way that we’ve handled it represents exactly the balance you need to strike.”
Of course, this won't make any difference to those who still adore the president, and there are many who still do.
