Anti-Obama Ad You Will Never See- From Our Friends Up North

Our Canadian friends up north, who are having their own problems with censorship etc., at least chose conservative Stephen Harper in their recent elections. But we are still in the fight for our lives, with 15 days until d-day. Who knows what will happen come November 4th, but we can at least fight until the end.

They too are concerned for this country. Kathy Shaidle, a Canadian writer, blogger put together the following powerful ad that John McCain should but would never air, about Bill Ayers' connection to the Fort Dix bomb plot in 1970.

while McCain was being tortured in the Hanoi Hilton, Ayers and his dirty hippie friends got this close to murdering hundreds of McCain's fellow soldiers, and their dates, at a dance at Fort Dix. And Ayers supports Obama.

With an Obama presidency, the radicals' "long march through the institutions" will end in triumph.

Has the culture war really been for naught, America?

Will you really hand those hippie traitors this ultimate victory? I read about the foiled Weatherman plot against the Fort Dix Dance here and here. I got so pissed off I wrote the script for a campaign ad I'd make for McCain if he asked me, which he never would.

In these troubled times the last thing we need is an Obama presidency, so every tuesday until the election I will be participating in these blogbursts.

An informed voter is not only a wise voter, he or she is probably also a good American. In this regard, the press has always been the cornerstone in the foundation of American democracy … that is, until the press became such an advocate of socialism and liberal politics that it can no longer be relied upon to convey “fair and balanced” information.

For this reason, Confessions of A Closet Republican joins with several others in a Noobama08 blog burst each Tuesday of the week until Election Day. If we cannot obtain the truth about our politicians from an unencumbered press, then we’ll form a cooperative to distribute information independently.

Stanley Kurtz is a journalist and senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center. Mr. Kurtz’ article in the Wall Street Journal explains why Barack Obama is untrustworthy for the office of the President of the United States . He lacks integrity … and if it is one thing we do not need in the White House, it is yet another dishonest politician.

Mr. Kurtz writes:

Despite having authored two autobiographies, Barack Obama has never written about his most important executive experience. From 1995 to 1999, he led an education foundation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), and remained on the board until 2001. The group poured more than $100 million into the hands of community organizers and radical education activists.

The CAC was the brainchild of Bill Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground in the 1960s. Among other feats, Mr. Ayers and his cohorts bombed the Pentagon, and he has never expressed regret for his actions. Barack Obama's first run for the Illinois State Senate was launched at a 1995 gathering at Mr. Ayers's home.

The Obama campaign has struggled to downplay that association. Last
April, Sen. Obama dismissed Mr. Ayers as just "a guy who lives in my
neighborhood," and "not somebody who I exchange ideas with on a regular basis." Yet documents in the CAC archives make clear that Mr. Ayers and Mr. Obama were partners in the CAC. Those archives are housed in the Richard J. Daley Library at the University of Illinois at Chicago and I've recently spent days looking through them.

The Chicago Annenberg Challenge was created ostensibly to improve Chicago 's public schools. The funding came from a national education initiative by Ambassador Walter Annenberg. In early 1995, Mr. Obama was appointed the first chairman of the board, which handled fiscal matters. Mr. Ayers co-chaired the foundation's other key body, the "Collaborative," which shaped education policy.

The CAC's basic functioning has long been known, because its annual reports, evaluations and some board minutes were public. But the Daley archive contains additional board minutes, the Collaborative minutes, and documentation on the groups that CAC funded and rejected. The Daley archives show that Mr. Obama and Mr. Ayers worked as a team to advance the CAC agenda.

One unsettled question is how Mr. Obama, a former community organizer fresh out of law school, could vault to the top of a new foundation? In response to my questions, the Obama campaign issued a
statement saying that Mr. Ayers had nothing to do with Obama's "recruitment" to the board. The statement says Deborah Leff and Patricia Albjerg Graham (presidents of other foundations) recruited him. Yet the archives show that, along with Ms. Leff and Ms. Graham, Mr. Ayers was one of a working group of five who assembled the initial board in 1994. Mr. Ayers founded CAC and was its guiding spirit. No one would have been appointed the CAC chairman without his approval.

The CAC's agenda flowed from Mr. Ayers's educational philosophy, which called for infusing students and their parents with a radical political commitment, and which downplayed achievement tests in favor of activism. In the mid-1960s, Mr. Ayers taught at a radical alternative school, and served as a community organizer in Cleveland 's ghetto.

In works like "City Kids, City Teachers" and "Teaching the Personal and the Political," Mr. Ayers wrote that teachers should be community organizers dedicated to provoking resistance to American racism and oppression. His preferred alternative? "I'm a radical, Leftist, small 'c' communist," Mr. Ayers said in an interview in Ron Chepesiuk's, "Sixties Radicals," at about the same time Mr. Ayers was forming CAC.

CAC translated Mr. Ayers's radicalism into practice. Instead of funding schools directly, it required schools to affiliate with "external partners," which actually got the money. Proposals from groups focused on math/science achievement were turned down. Instead, CAC disbursed
money through various far-left community organizers, such as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (or Acorn).

Mr. Obama once conducted "leadership training" seminars with Acorn, and Acorn members also served as volunteers in Mr. Obama's early campaigns. External partners like the South Shore African Village Collaborative and the Dual Language Exchange focused more on political consciousness, Afrocentricity, and bilingualism than
traditional education. CAC's in-house evaluators comprehensively studied the effects of its grants on the test scores of Chicago public-school students. They found no evidence of educational improvement.

CAC also funded programs designed to promote "leadership" among parents. Ostensibly this was to enable parents to advocate on behalf of their children's education. In practice, it meant funding Mr. Obama's alma mater, the Developing Communities Project, to recruit parents to its overall political agenda. CAC records show that board member Arnold Weber was concerned that parents "organized" by community groups might be viewed by school principals "as a political threat." Mr. Obama arranged meetings with the Collaborative to smooth out Mr. Weber's objections.

The Daley documents show that Mr. Ayers sat as an ex-officio member of the board Mr. Obama chaired through CAC's first year. He also served on the board's governance committee with Mr. Obama, and worked with him to craft CAC bylaws. Mr. Ayers made presentations to board meetings chaired by Mr. Obama. Mr. Ayers spoke for the Collaborative before the board. Likewise, Mr. Obama periodically spoke for the board at meetings of the Collaborative.

The Obama campaign notes that Mr. Ayers attended only six board meetings, and stresses that the Collaborative lost its "operational role" at CAC after the first year. Yet the Collaborative was demoted to a strictly advisory role largely because of ethical concerns, since the projects of Collaborative members were receiving grants. CAC's own evaluators noted that project accountability was hampered by the board's reluctance to break away from grant decisions made in 1995. So even after Mr. Ayers's formal sway declined, the board largely adhered to the grant program he had put in place.

Mr. Ayers's defenders claim that he has redeemed himself with public-spirited education work. That claim is hard to swallow if you understand that he views his education work as an effort to stoke resistance to an oppressive American system. He likes to stress that he learned of his first teaching job while in jail for a draft-board sit-in. For Mr. Ayers, teaching and his 1960s radicalism are two sides of the same coin.

Mr. Ayers is the founder of the "small schools" movement (heavily funded by CAC), in which individual schools built around specific political themes push students to "confront issues of inequity, war, and violence." He believes teacher education programs should serve as "sites of resistance" to an oppressive system. (His teacher-training programs were also CAC funded.) The point, says Mr. Ayers in his "Teaching Toward Freedom," is to "teach against oppression," against America 's history of evil and racism, thereby forcing social transformation.

The Obama campaign has cried foul when Bill Ayers comes up, claiming "guilt by association." Yet the issue here isn't guilt by association; it's guilt by participation. As CAC chairman, Mr. Obama was lending moral and financial support to Mr. Ayers and his radical circle. That is a story even if Mr. Ayers had never planted a single bomb 40 years ago.

To say Mr. Obama is not ready for the presidency is a gross understatement. It is not simply that he lacks experience … it is also that he repudiates traditional American values and culture by embracing Marxist ideology, has been an acolyte of black racist theology, cuddled up with the anarchist activism of Saul Alinski, and even worse … the man is simply and irrevocably dishonest. There is nothing about Barack Obama that may cause us to think he honors American tradition, or shares with us our time-honored values. Significantly, a man who works to undermine our education system through socialist engineering is a man who seeks to destroy America .

If the American people elect this man to the presidency, he will certainly destroy the cultural and political fabric of the United States , and when he has finished his work, none of us will recognize what he has left behind: The People’s Socialist Republic of the United States.

Barack Obama Speaks With Forked Tongue- Or The Art Of Political Pandering

Politicians will say virtually anything to get elected; contradict themselves or even blatantly lie, in hopes that a stupidly gullible voter will not bother to question the inconsistencies and contradictions and vote for him anyway. This is what Barack Hussein Obama hopes to do by pandering to the American voters. In an effort to ingratiate himself, at an invitation-only townhall meeting at a Boca Raton, Florida synagogue this past Thursday, he spent 20 minutes trying to convince the congregation that he loves the Jews, and has Israel in his best interests:

"One of the raps on me when I first ran for Congress in the African-American community was, 'He's too close to the Jewish community. ...All his friends are Jews" [snip] "The bottom line is this: Nobody can find any statement that I have ever made that is anything less than unequivocally pro-Israel."

Ah yes, the typical "my best friend's a ....... ", you fill in the blank. Umm, Barack I beg to differ. Though you mightn't have made any direct statements, the fact that you have consistently surrounded yourself with anti-Semitic, anti-Israel advisers and colleagues, speaks volumes.

General Merrill "Tony" McPeak, an Obama policy advisor and potential candidate for secretary of defense, no less, in an Obama White House, blamed the failure of the Middle East process on Miami and New York Jews. He has been

"a long-time critic of Israel's presence in Judea, Samaria, Gaza and the Golan Heights. In a 1976 article in Foreign Affairs magazine, he criticized Israel for refusing to withdraw from areas liberated in the 1967 Six Day War, even as he wrote poignantly about the vital security advantages Israel obtained by conquering those areas."

Obama was a board member of the charitable Woods Foundation (the same one William 'the terrorist' Ayers was a member of) which has funded the pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel organization Arab American Action Network (AAAN).

In an interview in French Magazine Match, he claimed that once president, he would call for a summit of Muslim Nations (including Iran and Syria):

"I want to ask them to join our fight against terrorism. We must also listen to their concerns."

Concerns? Hello, Barack, their concerns are the very existence of Israel and the Jews. Do you really think you're going to change that decades-old mindset? How supremely naive.

Then we have Obama's ex-spiritual advisor-cum-preacher the Reverend Jeremiah Wright who is most definitely anti-American and anti-Israel. A 20 year affiliation folks.

Wright has called Israel a "racist country," said that "Israel" is a dirty word, and claimed US foreign policy was responsible for the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

But most telling, in my mind, are affiliations one hears nothing about in the mainstream media. His strong affiliation with Arab-American and anti-Israel activists, like Professor Edward Said, seated next to Barack and Michelle (in photo) at a 1998 Arab community function where Said was keynote speaker. Then we have Ali Abunimah, the co-founder of The Electronic Intifada who wrote a fascinating article about his relationship with Obama. Abunimah, claims

"The last time I spoke to Obama was in the winter of 2004 at a gathering in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood. He was in the midst of a primary campaign to secure the Democratic nomination for the United States Senate seat he now occupies. But at that time polls showed him trailing. As he came in from the cold and took off his coat, I went up to greet him. He responded warmly, and volunteered, "Hey, I'm sorry I haven't said more about Palestine right now, but we are in a tough primary race. I'm hoping when things calm down I can be more up front." He referred to my activism, including columns I was contributing to the The Chicago Tribune critical of Israeli and US policy, "Keep up the good work!"

Echoing the Reverend Wright's accusation that Obama was simply being politically expedient with respect to Obama's criticism of his sermons, Abunimah says of Barack:

"If disappointing, given his historically close relations to Palestinian-Americans, Obama's about-face is not surprising. He is merely doing what he thinks is necessary to get elected and he will continue doing it as long as it keeps him in power."

I'm not convinced, at all, that he will continue, once he is firmly in power.

And back at the Boca Synagogue

Things got heated once, when Michael Ackerman of Boca Raton asked Obama to name Jewish friends who were not elected officials and who had influenced his thinking on foreign policy. Several South Florida Jewish politicians, including U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler, D-Delray Beach, introduced Obama. Ackerman, who later said he was a lifelong Democrat who planned to vote for McCain, also asked whether Obama was a friend of Rashid Khalidi, a controversial Palestinian scholar at the University of Chicago. Ackerman took several minutes setting up the question and was eventually booed and hissed by the crowd when he asked Obama to provide names of people who could prove he was "anti-terrorist." Obama quieted the crowd and said his and Khalidi's children went to the same school. He said he had spoken with Khalidi but the professor was not on his team of advisers.

However, there are those who disagree with that pronouncement

According to a professor at the University of Chicago who said he has known Obama for 12 years, the Democratic presidential hopeful befriended Khalidi when the two worked together at the university. The professor spoke on condition of anonymity. Khalidi lectured at the University of Chicago until 2003 while Obama taught law there from 1993 until his election to the Senate in 2004. Sources at the university told WND that Khalidi and Obama lived in nearby faculty residential zones and that the two families dined together a number of times. The sources said the Obamas even babysat the Khalidi children.

Khalidi in 2000 held what was described as a successful fundraiser for Obama's failed bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, a fact not denied by Khalidi, who spoke to WND in February.

Khalidi's wife, Mona, just so happens to run the AAAN, that same organization the Woods Foundation funded with 2 separate grants.

The Boca congregation listened as Obama spent much of his 20-minute speech pledging his support to Israel, denouncing terrorism and distancing himself from the meetings former President Jimmy Carter held with Hamas.

How can he live with himself, blatantly lying to the American people? Then again, he's just a politician, and that's what they do.

If you can bear to watch 20 minutes of duplicitous, barely tolerable pandering, have at it. It sickened me.

Obama, Ayers, Wright- Cut From The Same Leftist, U.S. Hating Cloth

Want to guess who this disrespectful , bespectacled, middle-aged man trampling on the American flag is?!

Yes, none other than Barack Obama's buddy William 'the terrorist' Ayers. Yes, folks, this is the land of the free where anyone can do pretty much anything without fear of governmental reprisal. Ayers blew up buildings as part of the radical, leftist Weathermen group, and served no jail time for his actions. In an article in Chicago Magazine, published in 2001, Ayers claimed the guiding principles of the Weathermen were to

"Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents—that's where it's really at,"

although he claims that was more fiery rhetoric than truth. Similar to Reverend Wright's claims that all his anti-U.S. rhetoric is taken out of context, Ayers too claims certain quotes of his were taken out of context, like:

"Guilty as hell, free as a bird—America is a great country!"

Yes, yes and yes. Ayers gets that right!

And Ayers has no regrets, whatsoever. Although he claims, in a blog post, that he is often misquoted and misunderstood, this statement speaks for itself:

1. Regrets. I’m often quoted saying that I have “no regrets.” This is not true. For anyone paying attention—and I try to stay wide-awake to the world around me all/ways—life brings misgivings, doubts, uncertainty, loss, regret. I’m sometimes asked if I regret anything I did to oppose the war in Viet Nam, and I say “no, I don’t regret anything I did to try to stop the slaughter of millions of human beings by my own government.” Sometimes I add, “I don’t think I did enough.” This is then elided: he has no regrets for setting bombs and thinks there should be more bombings.

The illegal, murderous, imperial war against Viet Nam was a catastrophe for the Vietnamese, a disaster for Americans, and a world tragedy. Many of us understood this, and many tried to stop the war. Those of us who tried recognize that our efforts were inadequate: the war dragged on for a decade, thousands were slaughtered every week, and we couldn’t stop it. In the end the U.S. military was defeated and the war ended, but we surely didn’t do enough.

I'm not sure what part of "I don't think I did enough" is misinterpretable.

Another blog post entitled "I'M SORRY!!!!! i think..." is a long convoluted diatribe with ne'er an apology.

Bottom line: Ayers thinks he was right. He believes the violence was justified.

He also predicted, in the 2001 Chicago magazine article, that

"... there will be another mass political movement... [snip] because I believe that the kind of injustice that is built into our world will not go quietly into the night."

Participant in the 1968 Democratic Convention riots, his prediction might prove to be true. There is a group that has formed, called recreate68, intent on recreating the chaos. He'll probably be center-stage, or perhaps as part of the establishment now- a tenured Professor, anti-globalist hypocrite who loves Starbucks, he'll watch from the sidelines.

And guess what, he also happens to be a Chavez lover.

So, now we know why Obama refuses to wear an American Flag Pin, or place his hand on his heart for the Pledge of Allegiance. He's cut from the same leftist, anti-U.S cloth as Ayers and Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Do we want that for our country? I know I don't!

After All "He's A Politician"- The 2 Faces Of Obama

Turns out Barack Obama- the messiah of the Democratic Party, the self-righteous, purported agent of change is simply "... a politician [snip] and he says what he has to say as a politician." At least according to his preacher of 20 years, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. That comment, in a recent interview with PBS's Bill Moyers, was an obvious knee-jerk reaction to Obama semi-dissing him in Philadelphia and Indiana when pressed about his connection to Wright's virulently anti-American, hate-fest of a United Trinity Church of Christ. But Wright's outright betrayal in the interview, and in subsequent appearances at an NAACP fundraiser and the National Press Club, in turn, spawned a retaliatory full condemnation by Obama, on Tuesday, in both a news conference and a written statement. Of Wright, Obama said:

"He's drawn attention as the result of some inflammatory and appalling remarks he made about our country, our politics, and my political opponents. Let me say at the outset that I vehemently disagree and strongly condemn the statements that have been the subject of this controversy. I categorically denounce any statement that disparages our great country or serves to divide us from our allies. I also believe that words that degrade individuals have no place in our public dialogue, whether it's on the campaign stump or in the pulpit. In sum, I reject outright the statements by Rev. Wright that are at issue."

And at a news conference in North Carolina, Obama further hung Wright out to dry by adding:

"I am outraged by the comments that were made and saddened over the spectacle that we saw yesterday. [snip] The person that I saw yesterday was not the person that I met 20 years ago. [snip] I find these comments appalling. [snip] His comments were not only divisive and destructive, but I believe that they end up giving comfort to those
that prey on hate."

Responding to Wright's contention that Obama denounced the Pastor for political expediency, he stated:

"if Reverend Wright thinks that that's political posturing, as he put it, then he doesn't know me very well."

After commenting on the good deeds Wright had performed in the past, Obama went on to say:

"..but, when he states, and then amplifies, such ridiculous propositions as the U.S. government somehow being involved in AIDS; when he suggests that Minister Farrakhan [leader of the Nation of Islam] somehow represents one of the greatest voices of the 20th and 21st century; when he equates the United States' war time efforts with terrorism, then there are no excuses, they offend me, they rightly offend all Americans and they should be denounced."

But whether he truly means what he says, or is denouncing Wright for political gain, (considering the Pied Piper of the Dems has recently lost some of his mass appeal), is subject to conjecture. What we do know, definitively, is that Obama is not who he claims to be.

We all have our public and private personas, and although we try to keep those 2 faces apart, every once in a while they unwittingly collide. As a private citizen you can rest assured that, for the most part, nothing will come of it, but those in the public arena who believe that what lies behind their outward appearance will somehow remain forever buried, are exceedingly ignorant.

Yes, I think we can all agree that Barack Obama, on the surface, and at least until his recent troubles, was one helluva charismatic speaker; he had the ability to galvanize and inspire, to bring disparate groups together. A great televangelist, perhaps, but as the next President of the United States of America, during these trying times? No way! For those who have been digging deeper beneath that fresh, baby-faced, we need major change facade, some dark realities have surfaced. Why Obama thought he would never be held accountable for the questionable people he associates with, proves his tremendous lack of discernment, which is not a quality we need in a President! Furthermore, if he truly had no idea what the Reverend Wright was preaching, for the past 20 years, then he lacks sufficient enough brain cells to be Commander in Chief.

It is said that you can judge a person's character by the company they keep. So let's take a peek at the colorful characters Obama has been associated with:

1. Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Obama's Pastor for 20 years, is very obviously racist, anti-American, anti-Semitic, anti-middle class, anti pretty much everything. And although Obama claims "he has never been my political advisor", he actually prayed with the Reverend prior to announcing his candidacy. Why Obama waited until now to formally and categorically denounce Wright for the ludicrous claims and rants he has shared with his congregants over the years, just proves Obama is a political opportunist, not to be trusted. Bill Moyers in the interview with Wright mentions "Here is a man who came to see you 20 years ago wanting to know about the neighborhood. Barack Obama was a skeptic when it came to religion. He sought you out because he knew you knew about the community. You led him to the faith." One has to wonder if Obama had his sights set on the White House back then, and whether this 20 year affiliation was a mere tactic to help him get there.

2. William Ayers, of Weatherman fame hosted a 1995 campaign fundraiser for Obama, and has served on panels and on the board of the Woods Fund of Chicago with him. Ayers, founder of the radical left-wing organization the Weather Underground, and other members were responsible for bombing federal buildings and banks in the late 1960s and 1970s. Ayers and his wife, fellow terrorist Bernardine Dohrn, were in hiding for a number of years, and although they eventually turned themselves in, they were never charged, due to prosecutorial misconduct. Ayers and Dohrn, now prominent academics in Chicago (God help our kids), in 2001 claimed they had no regrets, whatsoever for their past terrorist actions.

3. Antoin Rezko, indicted entrepreneur, restaurateur, real estate developer. There's a whole blog devoted to the Obama/Rezko connection, and there's more than meets the eye with respect to some real estate Obama purchased through Rezko, for a pittance of what it was worth.

Then we have the whole 'elitist' flap that occurred after the champion of the common man actually called the common man "bitter", at a private political fundraiser in San Francisco. I can guarantee that the comment was never meant to go public. And then we have awife, Michelle, who proclaims this is the first time, in her adult life, that she has been proud to be an American.

What we are left with is a man who claims to be someone he's not. A man who is either a very clever, convincing liar or an incredibly stupid man. Either way, he does not deserve to be our next President.
