Jesse Jackson, Jr. Gets $8,500 Month Disability For 'Mood Disorder'

How convenient.  Corrupt Illinois Democrat Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., who will spend the next 2 1/2 years in jail for spending $750,000 of his campaign funds to buy himself mounted elk heads, fancy jewelry and other stuff, conveniently developed a 'mood disorder' which qualifies him for government disability pay. Yes, indeedy, Jesse will get a check for $8,700 per MONTH for his so-called mental issues.  I know people who deserve to be on disability who never qualified, and yet he gets that amount while in jail for corruption? He will also get some of his federal pension. $45,000.00

Something is seriously wrong with the system!

Mama Jackson Jr.,  Sandi, will also spend some time in the clinker for helping cover up her husband's fraud. Nice example to set for their offspring.

Bilking The UK Welfare System- Iraqi Woman Sublets Taxpayer Funded £2 million flat

Another immigrant family bilking UK welfare system, which seems to find nothing wrong in settling welfare recipients in multi-million dollar flats. How absurd is that!

An unemployed Iraqi 'benefit queen' charged £4,000 a week to sublet a taxpayer funded £2million flat, it has been claimed.

Bushra al-Rahimi is claimed to have rented out the flat to a family of Kuwaiti tourists, while also being in receipt of housing benefits from Westminster city council to cover the cost of the city centre five-bedroom property.

Al-Rahimi and her family have now been re-housed at taxpayers' expense in nearby Islington, in a block of flats where another property is let at £5,000 a month.

The alleged offence came to light after director of Lord Estates Hany Hanna was asked to intervene by the head lessor of the flats at Harrowby Court, in a street near Marble Arch, the Sunday Times has reported.

Mr Hanna said when he called at the flat, which is close to Tony Blair’s home in Connaught Square, in the first week of July 2011 a man claiming to be the rightful tenant opened the door - in an e-mail to the head lessor Anthony Slingsby, Mr Hanna said he could tell by his accent he was from Kuwait.

He said he heard the man talking on the phone after he shut the door and was later called by al-Rahimi who asked him to leave. He accused her of committing a fraud and warned her the matter had been reported to Seymour police station.

KY Woman Tries To Buy iPads With Food Stamps

In Obama's world people try to buy iPads with food stamps, but they're stupid enough to try it twice.

Apparently, Tracy Browning decided she needed two iPads so she took a little trip to her local Louisville, Kentucky Walmart to purchase them. When her EBT (food stamps) card was declined, she assaulted a clerk as she made a run for it, items in hand.  Then the Darwin Award contender made her way to another Walmart where she attempted to buy a few more. That's when she was arrested.

Woman Hoards 30 "Obama" Lifeline Phones Funded By The US Taxpayer

Did you know that the 'Universal Access Fee', 'Universal Service Fund', or in the case of Verizon Wireless the 'Federal Universal Service Charge' that I pay approximately $1.27 every month, supports a Federal programme that provides all those Obama phones to people in need. Now I wouldn't mind if that was truly the case, but as the following video shows, some of those allegedly needy people are actually gaming the system. The woman in the video has 30 of those 'free' Obama phones, and it appears they are easily obtainable.

Apparently, that fee each and every one of us pays every month happens to fund a programme called Lifeline which was initially created to make sure people have access to a landline phone and 9/11 service. At some point cell phones were added, and this is where it has become a huge problem.  Because they are so easy to get, many people will stockpile phones and sell the extra ones they have. In Maryland alone, the amount of people signed up for the Lifeline programme has skyrocketed from 6,000 in 2008, to 231,000 in 2011 increasing the costs from $1 million to $24 million a year in just 3 years.

Arkansas congressman Tim Griffin is trying to change that by removing cell phones from the Lifeline programme.

This is one of the many reasons this country is broke.

Obama "gave us a phone" - Obama Supporters At Romney Rally

Barack Obama supporters at a Mitt Romney rally in Bedford, Ohio (near Cleveland).  This is who Romney was referring to as the 47%- not the hard working shlubs who do pay tax but get it all back because they don't make enough, but rather those 'entitled' food stamp welfare queens who often bilk the system and believe that the government should pay for their gas and mortgages and give them cellphones without doing anything to deserve it.

These are the people Romney said won't vote for him anyway, and he's absolutely right. They won't. Who is going to give up  free stuff for sitting on their duffs.

Michigan $1-Million Lottery Winner Loses Her Food Stamp Benefits

24-year-old Amanda Clayton ought to be ashamed of herself. So should her mother Euline.  Last September the young mother of two hit the jackpot when she won the $1-million dollar Michigan lottery. Granted her winnings dwindled to about half of that when she chose to take the money in a lump sum (less taxes), but that's still a hefty sum for an unemployed mom.  She immediately purchased a second house and a new car. But what Amanda didn't do was notify the Michigan Department of Human Services that she now no longer qualified for her $200.00 per month food stamp allotment, because, well, she thought she deserved it because she still had bills to pay.  According to an interview with Amanda on Detroit Local 4 TV station, she thought the state would cut her off, but since they didn't she figured it would be okay since she wasn't working. After all, she now has two houses to deal with. Amanda doesn't seem to think there's anything wrong with continuing to collect food stamps even though she has a tidy sum in the bank, two houses, and a brand new car. No- because she has that typical feeling of entitlement that many 99%ers have, the classic 'the government owes me mentality.' 

And mama, Euline?  She won't comment on whether  what her daughter did  was right or wrong, although she did say "... it‘s nobody’s business if she’s not breaking the law.”

Well, as it turns out, it is against the law, and after much outrage Amanda is no longer receiving those food stamp benefits.   In fact, anti-fraud officials are on the case.



Bilking the government isn't anything new, it happens all the time in some form or another, and to a greater or lesser degree. Unlike the Seattle couple that were living in their $1.2 million house and collecting a lot more in welfare subsidies than the paltry $200.00 per month Amanda was getting for her food stamps, willfully stealing from the state is stealing from you and me, and that makes me angry.

"DHS relies on clients being forthcoming about their actual financial status,” Department of Human Services Director Maura D. Corrigan said in a prepared statement. “If they are not, and continue to accept benefits, they may face criminal investigation and be required to pay back those benefits.”
