Resources for Voting GOP in the 2020 Elections- Get Out The Vote!

The Democrats are panicking and Biden voters are mobilizing. Big time.

It actually started a long while ago with invites from my lefty entertainment industry friends to join Facebook groups to rock the vote for Biden. Mind you, these same people who are so enthusiastically trying to get Biden elected are only voting for him because they despise Donald Trump so much. Yep, they would literally vote for Jeffrey Dahmer if he happened to be running against Trump. Ironically, in spite of all the obvious signs of dementia, including the fact that Biden is everything they hate about Trump and more, they'll still #VoteBlueNoMatterWho. Needless to say, I never joined any of those groups. But none of the few courageous vocal Trump supporters that I know on Facebook have started any similar kind of action group, and the rest of us are too afraid to jeopardize our prospects for work, since the Leftists in our industry have become so unhinged and hateful. Blackballing still exists, and getting worse.

But back to the mobilization of the Democrats- they're going at it full force.  I received this pretty little postcard with a pretty little stamp addressed to Resident. Postmarked New York, which I found very odd. As you can see, at the bottom it says "When Palm Beach County Dems vote by mail, Dems win!"

Now, I've been a registered Republican for decades, so I was flummoxed as to how I wound up on someone's personal 'Vote Dem' mailing list, until I saw a friend post about this group on FB yesterday.  Postcardstovoters.org.

Postcards to Voters are friendly, handwritten reminders from volunteers to targeted voters giving Democrats a winning edge in close, key races coast to coast.

What started on March 11, 2017 with sharing 5 addresses apiece to 5 volunteers on Facebook so that they could mail postcards to voters in Jon Ossoff’s race grew in one month to 1,200+ volunteers nationwide and over 51,000 postcards mailed.

Now, we consist of over 75,000+ volunteers in every state (including Alaska and Hawaii) who have written close to 8 million postcards to voters in over 200 key, close elections.

Now, it might have made a bit of a difference in those close races around the country that Republicans were winning and then wound up going to Democrats, but I'm still convinced there was some voter fraud going on. But, why doesn't our side have anything similar? Or maybe we do, but I'm just not hearing about it.

We need to step up to the plate and do as much as we can to get Trump re-elected for another four years, regain the House, and retain the Senate. It's imperative! Yes, I truly believe there is a silent majority with many who will vote for Trump but are keeping it to themselves. But that's not enough. We cannot afford to be complacent, so I've compiled a list of ways you can get involved.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED:

1. Donate to the Trump campaign and the campaigns of the numerous candidates running for House and Senate across the nation- if you have the extra cash. Many are young conservatives who support Trump, and are very enthusiastic. We have a ton of great minority candidates also running. Please support them. They are the future of the Republican Party.

2. Volunteer at a local campaign office for Trump, or any local candidates running for office. Ask them how you can help with their campaigns.

3. Check out KeepAmericaAmerica.com. I heard about this organization listening to Sean Hannity while running errands. It lists resources on how to get involved.

4. TrueTheVote.org is a conservative voting rights organization that also has resources.

With a panicked corrupt Democratic Party doing everything in its power to get rid of Trump, it's imperative that we make sure they don't cheat. They will and they have. No, it's not a myth as the Democrats would have you believe. There has already been a slew of fraud this year during the primaries. I don't think I need to tell you how life changing this election will be if we lose. I know that this is the most important election of my lifetime.We're on the verge of either taking a hard leap to the left, or trying to hang on to what freedoms we still have.

Gig, Freelance, Independent Contractor Work Is Doomed If Joe Biden and The Democrats Win In 2020

If you're one of the 57 million or so gig and freelance workers out there you might want to take a good hard look at who you're planning to vote for in the upcoming 2020 elections.

Any of you familiar with the new California law AB5 that took effect on January 1, 2020? That epic mess of a bill that was cobbled together by Democratic Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez, and endorsed by Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom? The law that is pretty much decimating the gig economy in California for pretty much every independent contractor other than "doctors, dentists, psychologists, insurance agents, stockbrokers, lawyers, accountants, engineers, real estate agents" and some other lucky ones who happen to live in the Golden State? The bill that is basically forcing businesses to switch independent contractors to employees? The bill that could effectively bankrupt many of those companies and small businesses because they can't afford to hire those contractors full time? The bill that is making people prove that they fit the criteria of being an independent contractor through the ABC Test, which entails submitting a myriad of paperwork?

Guess who supports AB5 and wants to make it national- Joe Biden. Yes, the man who some thought was the most palatable and moderate of the sorry lot of Democratic candidates running for president. Joe Biden tweeted his support for the bill  6 days after Gonzalez actually admitted she was WRONG  for believing the bill wouldn't somehow adversely affect gig workers, including musicians. 

“we never intended for a band member to be another band member’s employer if they’re playing on the weekends or here and there..”

People are losing work- many their livelihoods- due to this epic failure of a law. Female home-based business owners (including women of color)- many of whom need the flexibility of freelance work- are being hard hit. Including LGBTQ folk, and those with physical disabilities.

 According to Forbes:

"In recent years, a growing number of women have flocked to self-employment. Given the glass ceiling and gender pay gap in many companies, some women find they earn more as independent workers than in a traditional job. For those juggling caregiving and a heavy load of unpaid household work, running a business from home instead of commuting is often the only way they can get everything done."

And this:

"... many independent workers in California say AB5’s complexity has scared away their clients, who are afraid of getting hit with fines by the state if they misinterpret it. Governor Gavin Newsom’s proposed 2020 budget includes about $20 million for enforcement."

But it's not just California- there are other blue states including Illinois, New Jersey, and New York considering similar job-killing bills. If the Democrats retain Congress, retake the Senate, and win the White House those 57-plus million gig workers can effectively kiss their businesses goodbye.

So which gig workers are being targeted?

-Newspaper delivery workers (exempt for 1 year)
-Rideshare workers (Uber/Lyft)
-Food delivery drivers (Postmates etc)
-Writers (can only submit 35 submissions per year per outlet, Vox Media fired hundreds of independent contractors because of AB5.
-Photographers (can only submit 35 submissions per year per outlet)
-Many musicians (the industry fought back and some will be exempt) but if you're a musician working in theme parks, forget it.
-Film and TV workers not working under a Union Contract (including freelance dubbing and voice-over work, makeup artists)
-Convention workers
-Unlicensed manicurists (exempt for 2 years)
-Health Aides (in Nursing homes and Assisted Living facilities)
-Janitors and housekeepers
-Land surveyors, landscape architects, geologists
-Campaign workers
-Language interpreters and translators
-Strippers
-Rabbis
-Seamstresses
-Commercial fisherman (exempt until 2023)
-Truckers (some)

Some health professionals are also not exempt. Those include:

Audiologist, clinical social worker (licensed), marriage and family therapist, nurse practitioner, occupational therapist, optometrist, physician assistant, radiation therapist, speech therapist, professional clinical counselor (licensed), respiratory therapists.

The fact that Joe Biden and the Democrats support such a job killing bill should have you truly frightened.  Do your research before you vote yourself out of your freelance jobs.

Time to ratchet up the blogging considering the current state of affairs in our beloved land.  It's going to be an exceedingly long two years.

Since the Democratic Party is swinging way left, with many young socialists currently in Congress, and the daddy of them all Bernie Sanders ranking second in the polls for the 2020 Democratic presidential race, albeit way behind Biden, the following video seems very timely.

In 2017 Joe Marranca put together a short film titled "We Were Warned: Freedom to Chains" highlighting a speech the eloquent conservative radio host Paul Harvey gave back in 1965 warning the American people about the dangers of giving in to Socialist influences. What Harvey discusses well over 50 years ago is uncannily apropos. And scary.

Joe Biden's $1 MillIon 2 Night Hotel Stay In Paris and London

VP Joe Biden and his posse cost the U.S. government $459,338.65 for hotel rooms alone- for one night- on his recent jaunt to London this past February.

Biden and gang stayed at the Hyatt Regency London The Churchill Hotel.  136 rooms were booked for 893 room nights, which means the rooms were probably booked for more than one night. The rooms cost around $500.00 per night.

Yes, these trips are part of the job, yes I understand they can't requisition bids for hotel stays (because of security issues) but can't they stay at maybe a four star hotel. And doesn't the State Department have travel advisers that can do a little preliminary comparison shopping? And what about hotel loyalty programmes?

And if you think $459,338.65 is outrageous, his 1 night stay at a Paris Intercontinental Hotel cost a whopping $585,000.50.

Election 2012 Cabbage Patch Dolls To Be Auctioned On EBay

So, they have Chia Barack Obama and Mitt Romney heads for sale on-line and at K-Mart, but if you want your own plush and chubby Cabbage Patch doll version of Obama, Biden, Romney, Ryan or even Michelle Obama you'll have to head on over to EBay  and bid on it starting October 30 through November 6th, the day of the election.

Jakks Pacific Inc, (owners of Cabbage Patch Kids) is auctioning off the dolls for charity, and have done this since 2004. The first lady is a new thing this year.

The Michelle Obama version of a Cabbage Patch Kid is as fashionable as the first lady, sporting a pink dress, thick black belt, cheetah-patterned purple blazer and black peep-toe pumps.

Unlike the presidential Halloween masks and the Chia heads that people are claiming will determine who wins the election, if you buy into all that, it's not the case with the Cabbage Patch ones.  The winning bid for the Sarah Palin one, in 2008, was four times higher than Joe Biden's. Palin's was a whopping $19,000, while Biden's cost the bidder $3,550. And unfortunately, we all know who won that year. The $37,000 that the dolls fetched in 2008 was donated to the Marine's Toys for Tots. The Red Cross was the beneficiary of the money in 2004. John Kerry's doll fetched $1,200 while George W Bush's was purchased for around$1,000. And Bush won that year.

Rock the Vote will get the proceeds this year. Rock the Vote is supposed to be non-partisan, though I've always associated it with liberals and the Democratic Party.  Wonder how much these will go for?

"Joe Bidenopoulos"- Biden's Latest Gaffe

What an incredible gaffeball. While Joe Biden was stumping in Warren, Ohio he walked up to a group of Greek men in a cafe and introduced himself  as "Joe Bidenopoulos."

The U.K. DailyMail has a list of gaffes, including the above mentioned, but remember this one back in January, 2012:

During a speech at a manufacturing plant in New Hampshire the vice president spoke about outsourcing to India and put on a bad Indian accent while asking 'How many times do you get the call, 'I like to talk to you about your credit card.'

Or that time when he said:

"you cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent."

And then there was his comment to an audience of blacks about how Republicans are 'going to put y’all back in chains'.

Had he been a Republican, he would have been branded a racist and crucified in the media. But because he's a Democrat, he gets a pass; the liberals don't seem to have a problem with all his boneheaded faux pas.

There are so many Biden gaffes, people have compiled lists, and some have even put together a "best of" video.

And this man could be one step away from the presidency? Let's make sure that doesn't happen.

The best of the best of Joe Biden's gaffes, from his most recent offensively stupid 'pandering' gaffe, to ones dating back to the 1980s, and the liberals thought Dan Quayle was bad.  Biden is a total buffoon.

Rudy Giuliani said it best during an interview with Larry Kudlow on CNBC.

But the — I think the vice president of the United States has become a laugh line on late night television. I mean, he — I’ve never seen a vice president that has made as many mistakes, said as many stupid things. I mean, there’s a real fear if, God forbid, he ever had to be entrusted with the presidency, whether he really has the mental capacity to handle it. I mean, this guy just isn’t bright. He’s never been bright. He isn’t bright. And people think, ‘Well, he just talks a little too much.’ Actually he’s just not very smart.

Biden Says West Virginians Who Voted For Convict "Frustrated" "Angry"

The best part of the last 4 years of the Obama/Biden tenure has been the amusement factor with the clueless, loose cannon Biden.

Apparently, Biden totally understands why West Virginian Democrats turned out in droves to vote for Texas convict, Keith Judd, who gave Obama a run for his money with a whopping 41 percent of the vote and a potential of at least one delegate (which he won't get, for various reasons.) He doesn't blame them at all,  they're just angry and frustrated over the economy.

“Look, I come from a household where whenever there’s a recession, somebody around my grandpop or my dad’s table lost a job. A brother, a sister a friend, a neighbor," Biden said. "When you’re out of work, man, it’s a depression."

"And so I don’t blame people. They’re frustrated, they’re angry," Biden said.

Darn right they're angry. They're angry because of  Obama's job-killing war on coal, the main industry and employment opportunity for West Virginians.  Of course, that stance is changing, and Biden can be seen flip-flopping on the issue in the amusing RNC produced video below.

As Biden and Obama are apt to do, he blames all the current economic recession problems on the previous administration, but believes that we will eventually wise-up and realize that Obama's 'approach' not Romney's will get us back on track with regards to 'employment and prosperity'. I guess he just needs another four years to do that.

All I know is that the past four years have been the worst, economically speaking, for me, and I know I won't be voting for him.  Hopefully, those who voted for him last time around won't buy into Obama's spin and hype- again.
