Ben & Jerry Goes Off The Liberal Deep End with #Resist Ice Cream

Was never a Ben & Jerry's fan even when I did eat dairy, but their latest political stunt would most definitely put me off their ice-cream if I did have a penchant for it.

Back in October, the Vermont ice cream company led by two old lefties launched their #resist ice-cream, effectively thumbing their collective noses at probably half their customer base.

Colorful, though not very appealing, art work.

Like many Donald Trump haters they are part of the #resist movement. You know, those liberal folk out there actively lobbying to get the duly elected president impeached, or whatever it takes to get him out of office. I suppose it probably also includes the #NeverTrumpers- or Republican traitors as I call them- though I'm not sure to what extent, if at all.  Anyway, Ben and Jerry decided they would create an ice cream flavor to reflect their #resist sentiments, so they came up with Pecan Resist.

From their website:

Together, Pecan Resist!
Alongside all those nutty chunks, this pint packs a powerful message under its lid: together, we can build a more just and equitable tomorrow. We can peacefully resist the Trump administration’s regressive and discriminatory policies and build a future that values inclusivity, equality, and justice for people of color, women, the LGBTQ community, refugees, and immigrants. Pecan Resist supports four organizations that are working on the front lines of the peaceful resistance, building a world that supports their values. Get to know them, then find Pecan Resist here!
Those four organizations:
Color of Change
Color of Change designs campaigns powerful enough to end practices that unfairly hold Black people back, and champions solutions that move everyone forward.
Honor the Earth
Honor the Earth works on issues of climate change, renewable energy, and environmental justice with Indigenous communities.
Neta
Neta is one of the fastest-growing independent media platforms led by people of color along the Texas-Mexico border.
Women's March
Women’s March is committed to harnessing the political power of diverse women and their communities to create transformative social change.
That last organization is what really got people up in arms, and rightfully so. Speaking of regressive and discriminatory policies, and lack of equality- the head of Women's March is none other than Linda Sarsour. That rabid anti-Semitic Muslim Linda Sarsour. Yep, the so-called feminist who wears an hijab which demonstrates just how ultra religious she is, and is actually a symbol of oppression. And remember, it's the uber religious ones who believe in Shariah law, which certainly does not promote equality, and is as regressive and discriminatory a law as it gets. They kill gays under Shariah. They call for adulterers to be stoned. Women are worth half what a man is worth.

Sarsour is also a staunch supporter of Nation of Islam's Louis Farrakhan, who manages to stay on Twitter even after calling Jews "termites."  In the past he has said:
“Hitler was a very great man” in a 1984 speech or that in 1985 he warned Jews: “And don’t you forget, when it’s God who puts you in the ovens, it’s forever!”
Sarsour recently told American Muslims not to "humanize" Jews. And she happens to love The Muslim Brotherhood.

As for co-president of Women's March Tamika Mallory:
In a February 2018 speech, Farrakhan said, “Jews were responsible for all of this filth and degenerate behavior that Hollywood is putting out, turning men into women and women into men. White folks are going down. And Satan is going down. And Farrakhan, by God’s grace, has pulled the cover off of that Satanic Jew, and I’m here to say your time is up, your world is through.”

Mallory attended the speech. She once posted a picture of herself embraced by Farrakhan, referring to him as “the GOAT” (Greatest Of All Time). So when she pointedly refused to condemn Farrakhan’s anti-Semitic and anti-LGBT comments after being asked, it was no surprise.

But Ben and Jerry seem to have no qualms about supporting these women even though what they espouse is counter to what their Pecan Resist mission statement promotes.

Liberals are hypocrites so maybe I shouldn't be surprised.

Louis Farrakhan Compares Jews To Termites on Twitter, Twitter Does Nothing

Anti-Semitic hater Louis Farrakhan, head of the Nation of Islam, just posted a video of himself comparing Jews to termites while his congregation laughed, and Twitter won't do a damn thing about it because it doesn't yet violate its Terms of Use. Apparently, there is a policy on "dehumanizing language" but it hasn't been implemented yet. But a slew of conservative Twitter users have been locked out of their accounts, or suspended, for no good reason. Some yes, but most don't even have a clue why.  It happened to me the weekend of the Kavanaugh confirmation.

In the short video Farrakhan says:

“Now, white folk don’t like Farrakhan. Some of them respect me. But those who have been our deceivers, they can’t stand me. I’m not mad with you. In fact, to the members of the Jewish community that don’t like me, thank you very much for putting my name all over the planet because of your fear of what we represent, I can go anywhere in the world and they’ve heard of Farrakhan. Thank you very much. I’m not mad at you, because you’re so stupid. Don’t you know my teacher, Elijah Muhammed, taught me one day: he said, ‘There once was a donkey that fell in a ditch, and everybody came along and picked up a stone and threw it at the donkey. They threw so many stones til the ditch got filled up, and the donkey walked out.’ So my teacher said, ‘Brother, remember: every knock is a boost.’ So when they talk about Farrakhan, call me a hater, call me anti-Semite…I’m anti-Termite. I don’t know nothing about hating somebody because of their religious preference.”

Read more and watch the video on Buzzfeed. If you can stomach looking at him.

Louis Farrakhan- Ebola Created By Whites To Kill Blacks

According to Nation of Islam's race-baiter and King of the Tinfoil Hats Louis Farrakhan, the U.S. government has a plan to depopulate the world of black people, and Ebola is one method of achieving that goal.

On his website he writes:

Another method is disease infection through bio-weapons such as Ebola and AIDS, which are race targeting weapons. There is a weapon that can be put in a room where there are Black and White people, and it will kill only the Black and spare the White, because it is a genotype weapon that is designed for your genes, for your race, for your kind.

I guess he forgot that there are several white Americans who happened to contract the disease while ministering to the sick in Africa. Dr Richard Sacra, Dr Kent Brantly and aid worker Nancy Writebol. I wonder how these whities managed to get sick.

You can read the rest of his drivel in this article on his website.

Jew Bashing Video- People from left to right, Christian to Muslim

Wow. In this video, they're not talking "we're anti-Zionist, anti-Israel but we love the Jews" b.s., these people interviewed are flat-out anti-Semites. Jews are responsible for everything- bad, that is- according to these people. And it's coming from all sides: neo-Nazis, left-wingers,Muslims and Christians. One Missouri white supremacist, Alex Linder, wants them exterminated.

You'll see all sorts of people you might recognize, including African-American writer Alice Walker, Nation of Islam's Louis Farrakhan, Lauren Booth (Tony Blair's sister-in-law), Brother Nathanael (fka Milton Kapner, a Jew-turned-Christian anti-Semite).

As Alan Dershowitz, Harvard University says at the end: imagine if they talked this way about blacks, gays or Muslims.

Unbelievable.

Chicago- No To Chik-fil-A, Yes To Anti-Gay Nation of Islam Restaurant Salaam

By now everyone knows about the Chik-fil-A controversy, and the call for a boycott of the Christian-owned fast food chicken eatery by the gay and lesbian community (and supporters) after president Dan Cathy admitted he is anti-gay marriage. He didn't specifically say he was anti-gay, he simply stated that he believes in the "biblical definition of the family unit."  Heck, there are gays I know who are against gay marriage. Not many, mind you, but there are some. Does that make them anti-gay? I really don't care one way or another, there are far more pressing global issues to be concerned about, like a nuclear Iran, or the massacre in Syria.  Should gays and lesbians and their partners have rights, absolutely. Should they be discriminated against? No way. But gay marriage is not something  I spend much time thinking about.

So now everyone wants to shut down a company that employs thousands, in an economy that is tanking. How smart is that. If you don't agree with the philosophy of a particular company, don't patronize that business, but don't force everyone else to do the same. Cathy is  not going to change his stance on gay marriage, so what's the point?  He didn't call for the killing of gays, unlike the Westboro Baptist wackos; or that extremely un-Christian pastor in N.C. who thought it would be a great idea to round up gays and lesbians, corral them behind an electric fence, and let them die; or pretty much the bulk of one particular religion, at least in the Middle East and parts of Asia.

Ironically, Chicago just opened its arms to a restaurant built by anti-gay, anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan's the Nation of Islam, and yet Rahm Emanuel has said he backs the blocking of the construction of another Chik-fil-A in Chi-town. What most of the people calling for a boycott don't realize is that Chik-fil-As are franchised, and maybe some owners might not have as strong an opinion against gay marriage as Cathy, and they will suffer as well, along with all the people they employ who might so happen to be pro-gay marriage.
So, back to Salaam, the Nation of Islam's 5 million dollar eatery.  It sounds like a great place to eat, healthy dining, great vegetarian options. Just up my alley  Would I eat there? Never. Why? Because of Farrakhan's hate-filled ideology. Would I tell people to boycott? No. Should gays boycott Nation of Islam restaurants because of their anti-gay rhetoric? If they are boycotting Chik-fil-A, they sure as heck should. The Nation of Islam is a far greater threat than a man who doesn't support gay marriage.  Farrakhan also happens to be anti-gay marriage.

Legal Insurrection blog also points out the hypocrisy of Boston Mayor Thomas Menino's declaration that he would block a planned Boston Chik-fil-A- although he was taken to task for that by a Boston Globe editorial:

But which part of the First Amendment does Menino not understand? A business owner’s political or religious beliefs should not be a test for the worthiness of his or her application for a business license.

Chick-fil-A must follow all state and city laws. If the restaurant chain denied service to gay patrons or refused to hire gay employees, Menino’s outrage would be fitting. And the company should be held to its statement that it strives to “treat every person with honor, dignity and respect — regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation, or gender.” But beyond the fact that Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays, the religious beliefs of the company’s top executive don’t appear to control its operations.

LI also references a blog post by Michael Graham that claims Mayor Menino supported a homophobic mosque in Boston.

This is the Islamic Society of Boston’s mosque in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood, a.k.a. “Menino’s Mosque.

Mayor Menino “sold” $2 million worth of city property to the ISB for $175,000, despite their well-documented links to Muslim extremism. The mosque teaches a form of Islam that condemns homosexuals to death.

And Menino won’t let a guy spend his own money opening a restaurant because he doesn’t support same-sex marriage? Hey, Mayor Moron—when was the last time Chick-Fil-A stoned a gay guy to death?

How's that for liberal hypocrisy.

Jesus Was A Muslim- Claims Christian College Professor

There's a Christian professor who teaches Islamic Studies who just wrote a book "Was Jesus A Muslim?"

Yep, believe it or not, Robert F Shedinger is an Associate Professor of Religion at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa who believes that Jesus was more into "social justice" than spirituality, and Islam is more a "social justice movement" than a religion, so therefore Jesus must have been a Muslim. Using his logic, since a banana is yellow and so is a sunflower, does that make a banana a sunflower?

Did he somehow miss the part about Christianity pre-dating Islam (by a very long time) during his  M.Div. studies at Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary or his Ph.D. studies at Temple University?

In Shedinger's own words:

“I came to the conclusion that [Islam] was a social justice movement and I think that’s who Jesus was in the first century so I conclude Jesus is more like a Muslim.”

What a fool and a dupe. And this man teaches college?

He's not the only one, however, who believes that Jesus was a Muslim. So does Nation of Islam's Louis Farrakhan, but Farrakhan also believes he was black.

Uhuh.

Jesus Was a Black Muslim, says Leader of Nation of Islam Louis Farrakhan

The Nation of Islam's Louis Farrakhan has just rewritten religious history at an Alabama A & M University appearance:  Jesus was a Black Muslim.  I've heard the whole 'Jesus Christ was a black man' theory and, frankly I could care less what color his skin was, but Muslim?  So, how did he come to that conclusion?

“Because Jesus said ‘Not My will, but Thy will.’ You know what we call that in Arabic? Islam. He was a Muslim.”

Right!  The fact that Jesus and Christianity predate Mohammad and Islam, by centuries, somehow eludes his  racist, anti-Semitic, delusional, ignorant mind. Hey Farrakhan, maybe Mohammad was actually a Christian?!
