Kim Jong-Un Song- Parody by Rucka Rucka Ali- Parody Video of the day

Here's an extremely un-PC parody on Kim Jong-un: Rucka Rucka Ali poking fun of the dictator with a parody of FGL ft Nelly "Cruise."

Definitely not for the faint of heart or easily offended, it can get pretty offensive.

I posted his parody of Carly Rae Jepson's wildly popular "Call Me Maybe" where he pokes fun of Barack Obama during his 2012 campaign, along with a little information on this Detroit singer who lampoons just about everyone.

This was from 2013.

Chinese Poke Fun At Kim Jong-Un- Viral video joke of the day

This one is hilarious. I think there's a longer version, but it's a compilation of video clips with the dictator's head photoshopped onto various movie and cartoon characters. Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama have supporting roles. Funny stuff.

Apparently, Kim Jong-un was terribly offended and wanted it removed. The Young Turks have a little information about the video and the cry-baby's fury at the upcoming Seth Rogan/James Franco movie "The Interview" which is about an attempted assassination of the dictator, calling it an act of war.

Kim Jong-un Gangnam Style- Parody video of the day

Just watched a video from a North Korean Youtube propaganda channel that I subscribe to. Always entertaining, on so many levels- from the overwrought narrators to the pro-DPRK versus anti-DPRK comments- and I noticed a slew of Kim Jong-un parodies. So, for your entertainment, I will start posting some.

I'll start with this Gangnam Style parody. The original by a South Korean pop star, became a global hit after the video went viral, several years back.

Kim Jong-Un Cries During A Concert - Video joke of the day

Here's a little evening entertainment courtesy of North Korea. The DPRK's God/Leader Kim Jong-un gets all misty eyed with some fellow officials at an uber-emotional concert.

Looks like he's packed on a few pounds, while his people starve.

Kim Jong-un Executes Ex-Girlfriend And 11 Other Musicians

Kim Jong-un, who is going to eventually rot in hell with his daddy and granddaddy, added another check mark on his karmic slate.  He just had his ex-girlfriend, singer Hyun Song-wol, publicly executed along with 11 other prominent North Korean musicians.  By firing squad. According to Chinese sources, the crime:  pornography. Some members of the Unhasu Orchestra, including the head Mun Kyong-jin, and dancers, singers and musicians from the Wangjaesan Light Music Band along with Hyun and members of her band were purported to have had a little x-rated side-business selling videos of themselves 'doing it'.  Some were also allegedly found with bibles. Another executable offense, I guess.

Now here's where it gets interesting, and is probably more likely the reason for Hyun's death sentence.
Kim met Hyon about a decade ago, before either of them was married. But he was later ordered to break off the relationship by his father Kim Jong-il and she married a soldier. Since then there have been rumors that the two were having an affair.
Kim's wife Ri Sol-ju was also a member of the Unhasu Orchestra before she married him.
Both bands have been disbanded, and according to a source:

"They were executed with machine guns while the key members of the Unhasu Orchestra, Wangjaesan Light Band and Moranbong Band as well as the families of the victims looked on."

And just for pudge-boy's pleasure, the witnesses and the families of all of those executed have been shipped off to prison camps where they will probably spend the rest of their lives.

Hyon was a popular singer with the Pochonbo Electronic Ensemble (video of her singing here) which focused on patriotic and revolutionary propaganda songs, not that there's much else allowed in the DPRK.

Obviously, there are those who do not buy into the official reason for execution and blame it on either political reasons or possibly on Kim Jong-un's pretty new wife.

"If these people had only made pornographic videos, then it is simply not believable that their punishment was execution," Toshimitsu Shigemura, a professor at Tokyo's Waseda University and an authority on North Korean affairs, told The Daily Telegraph.

"They could have been made to disappear into the prison system there instead.

"There is a political reason behind this," he said, suggesting that the groups may have been leaning towards a rival faction in Pyongyang's shadowy political world.

"Or, as Kim's wife once belonged to the same group, it is possible that these executions are more about Kim's wife," Professor Shigemura added.

Makes much more sense.

And there are actually people who admire the Kim dynasty. Unbelievable.

Uzbekistan Bans Meaningless Songs That "Don't Praise The Motherland"

If you think our government has too much control over our lives, check this out:

In a statement on its website, Uzbekistan's Culture and Sports Ministry has announced a ban on "meaningless" songs that fail to "praise the motherland."

In a rather insensitively worded ruling, the music of pop groups Mango and Ummon and singers Dilfuza Rahimova, Otabek Mutalhojaev, and Dilshod Rakhmonov were condemned as being "meaningless from musical and lyrical standpoints." (Ouch!)

They were stripped of their performing licenses, which are issued by an agency within the ministry, Uzbeknavo, and which are needed in order to perform in public in Uzbekistan.

Says the ministry:

"Their songs do not conform to our nation’s cultural traditions, they contradict our moral heritage and mentality. We should not forget about our duty to praise our motherland, our people, and their happiness.”
Seven other performers were issued "harsh warnings" and given a deadline of July 1 to eliminate what the ministry euphemistically calls their "creative shortcomings."
Of course, the daughter of Uzbek President Islam Karimov- Gulnara Karimova (aka Googoosha)- is not subject to that ban.  Here's her latest music video- "How Dare", which definitely does not comply with the nation's cultural traditions, whatever those happen to be. Note that the clothing and jewelry are Gulnara's designs. The jack-of-all-trades also happens to be an economist and diplomat.

Dennis Rodman Diplomacy- Obama "Can't Do Sh*t" So He's Heading To N Korea To Free Kenneth Bae

Since former NBA basketball star Dennis Rodman thinks Barack Obama "can't do sh*t", he's heading back to visit North Korea's Pillsbury dough boy to try to secure the release of US citizen Kenneth Bae. Bae, who was born in South Korea, was just sentenced to 15 years hard labor in some DPRK prison camp for allegedly trying to overthrow the government as part of some nefarious Christian plot called Operation Jericho.  Bae runs a tour guide company and was caught with "propaganda materials" including the National Geographic documentary by Diego Bunuel "Don't Tell My Mother- That I'm In North Korea."

I'm not quite sure why Rodman is waiting 2 months to go, but he plans on flying to North Korea on August 1st to plead with his best buddy Kim Jong-un.  The would-be diplomat says:

"I'm gonna try and get the guy out." "It's gonna be difficult."
Rodman and King bonded when he tagged along with the Harlem Globetrotters for a basketball match in Pyongyang a few months ago.  Kim told Rodman that he wanted Obama to call him. He didn't. And now Rodman is pissed off that Obama didn't make the effort to call.

"We got a black president [who] can't even go talk to [Jong-un] ... Obama can't do s**t, I don't know why he won't go talk to him."

 As for Obama:

"Obama? F**k him!"
Tell us how you really feel Dennis.

Will his efforts work?  Hard to say. As bizarre as they both are, it might.  Then again, Kim could be using Bae as a bargaining chip.

Two Coptic Priests In Sudan Arrested For Converting Muslim Woman

There are Coptic Christians in Sudan. I had no idea. And according to Al Arabiya they've done okay there for the past 23 years, no overt violence leveled against them like the Copts in Egypt. That seems rather surprising considering where they are living, and the fact that their President, Omar al-Bashir, is a genocidal Islamist 'war criminal'. But all that could change because of one woman's conversion to Christianity.

Two Coptic priests have already been arrested, because while 'dawah' (proselytizing) is part of a  Muslim's religious duty, converting to other religions is a crime, sometimes punishable by death.

“I understand there was someone from the Arab origin that accepted Christ and was baptized by them,” leading to their arrest within the past few days, one religious leader told AFP.

So two Christian priests are in jail, and some Al-Qaeda linked group calling themselves al-Qaeda in the Nilien States wants that Christian convert back.  Probably so they can stone her to death for apostasy.  If the Christians don't return they woman they claim was "kidnapped" they will target the Copts in retaliation.

"Soft War"- Iran Blames The West For Its Drought

Like many countries in the world, Iran has been dealing with droughts. But rather than acknowledge that we have no control over Mother Nature, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad likes to blame humans. Not in the man-made "global warming" kind of way, but in the pointing fingers at certain countries in the West kind of way.
Last May, Mahmoud actually blamed the West for sucking the water out of rain clouds and diverting it to their own lands. Ironically, the day he made that statement, it began to rain. This is what he said at the inauguration of a dam in Markazi province:

"Western countries have designed plans to cause drought in certain areas of the world, including Iran. According to reports on climate, whose accuracy has been verified, European countries are using special equipment to force clouds to dump" their water on their continent, he said.

By doing so, "they prevent rain clouds from reaching regional countries, including Iran," Mr Ahmadinejad charged.

He based his argument on some "Western" politician's article that claimed:

"droughts in some regions spanning from Turkey and Iran to east of Asia are predicted for the next 30 years. The regions (referred to in) the article ... include countries whose culture and civilisation frighten the West."

So that was last year. I guess they're still in a drought, because Iran's VP Hassan Mousavi, just declared that south Iran's drought is now a direct result of a "soft war" instigated by the West.
“I am suspicious about the drought in the southern part of the country. The world arrogance and colonist (term used by Iranian authorities to label the West) are influencing Iran’s climate conditions using technology... The drought is an acute issue and soft war is completely evident... This level of drought is not normal.”

Apparently, Iran has been experiencing severe sand storms emanating from Iraq, which has had an increase in desertification as a result of two wars. I'm surprised they aren't blaming Iraq for their drought woes.

Not that they're the only conspiracy nuts out there who buy into that theory. Kurt Nimmo over at Alex Jones' Infowars seems to concur, as do all the other wacko commenters responding to his post.

No, Mahmoud, Hassan and Kurt, the West isn't causing Iran's droughts. If the U.S. had control over the weather we wouldn't have 80% of this country under drought conditions.

Maybe Iran needs to take a look at their actions and see if something they are doing isn't somehow messing with the environment, like drying up Iraq's rivers.

The UK-based International Centre of Development Studies (ICD) warned of an environmental catastrophe that might hit the eastern and southern provinces of Iraq if Iran keeps on tampering with Iraq’s share of rivers that run through both countries.

The ICD report, obtained by Al Arabiya, stated that Iran stopped the flow of Alwand River, which runs from western Iran to eastern Iraq, for the past four years.

This caused the damage of around 10% of arable land and rendered the residents of several villages around the river homeless.

The production of several crops has also been greatly affected whether through quantity with a loss that amounted to 80% in some years or through quality that has witnessed a remarkable drop.

Iran, the report added, has also been pumping drainage water into several Iraqi rivers, which led to a rise in their salinity levels and in turn inflicted a substantial damage on marine life, basically demonstrated in the death of several fish species.

This also caused the migration of birds that lived in the area and the emergence of snakes which attack crops and kill livestock.

Iran has also diverted several tributaries of the Tigris River and built dams on others, which had a negative impact on the residents of provinces overlooking the river.

Read the rest here.

**Note: Al Arabiya inocrrectly quoted International Centre of Development Studies as the source of the information rather than Institute of Development Studies (IDS). I have changed it per ICD's request.

N Korea Executes 30 Officials For Failed Talks With S Korea

North Korea has been busy purging its government ranks by killing officials who have somehow failed in some form or other. According to a new report from Amnesty International, 30 people who were tasked with improving relations with South Korea were either executed or killed in apparent "staged traffic accidents." Of course,  the main reason those talks have failed is because the whacked out former "dear Leader" Kim Jong-il, and his equally touched son, Kim Jong-un, keep playing with their nukes and ballistic missiles. The country also happens to maintain one of the largest armies in the world, right on South Korea's doorstep. But no matter, 30 of those officials quickly dispensed with last year.

Then this January, when dear "Father's" fiefdom was passed on to his pudgy, 29-year-old baby-faced son, another 200 were either killed or sent off to North Korean gulags. Just making sure that any potential dissension was stopped before it happened. Amnesty estimates there are some 200,000 North Koreans rotting away in gulags.

But members of the oligarchy have never been safe in communist North Korea. Pak Nam-ki (or sometimes Nam-gi) Director of the Planning and Finance Department- was executed in 2010 for being

"a son of a bourgeois conspiring to infiltrate the ranks of revolutionaries to destroy the national economy"

In other words, he messed up an already incredibly messed up economy by revaluating the local currency, which caused further drastic problems.

Since relations with South Korea will continue to remain soured, and the economy will continue to suffer (unless they make major reforms), I'm sure there will be plenty more shipped off to gulags or executed.

After the failed missile test in April, there is talk that they might try again on May 28, Memorial Day:

"The North Korean regime is hell-bent on being a belligerent actor," said Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, chair of the US House Foreign Affairs Committee, during a visit to Seoul with a congressional delegation. "And I think that on holidays or sad commemorations like Memorial Day weekend is when the leadership tries to provoke the democratic allies into action."

We shall see.

China Sends Back North Korean Refugees To Face Jail, Torture and Death

It looks like North Korea's Kim Jong-un is following in his "dear" father Kim Jong -il's footsteps.  Jong-il's baby boy is continuing the legacy of torturing, jailing and killing defectors, all with the help of China.
Over the years many North Koreans have fled to China (and elsewhere), to escape the dire conditions created by the late lunatic dictator Kim Jong-il's leadership. But rather than helping these people, China has been sending them back knowing full well it's a death sentence.

In fact, in the 100 days of mourning for papa Jong-il, Jong-un decided to step up the tracking down of defectors:

As Kim Jong-Un attempts to consolidate his power in North Korea, one of the new regime's focus has been arresting as many North Koreans in China as possible. Right now, North Korea has sent into China a task force of covert agents numbering in the thousands -- a scale simply unprecedented -- who would pretend to be North Korean defectors, only to rat out true defectors to the Chinese police. The Chinese police arrests these defectors and repatriate them back to North Korea. Once back in North Korea, these defectors will face near certain deaths in gulags out of hard labor and starvation. Recently, there was an arrest of 28 North Korean defectors in China, who will be repatriated back to North Korea in just a few days. Right now, even as we speak, these defectors are essentially facing a death penalty if they are sent back to North Korea. Some of the defectors' families in South Korea (who defected before this group of defectors) are pleading that if these defectors are to be sent back to North Korea, they are better off killing themselves in the Chinese prison.

And it's not just North Koreans who hunt down these defector 'refugees', China is actively involved in doing the same thing, in spite of the fact that China is a party to the  U.N. Refugee Convention, its 1967 Protocol and the U.N. Convention Against Torture.  The U.N. is supposed to have access to refugees, but China has categorically refused.

Over 5,000 people per annum are repatriated to North Korea from China, and pregnant women who are deported are forced to abort their babies if they are half Chinese.

But it seems that the lives of North Koreans in China are as tragic as they probably were in their homeland, especially for women. According to Robert Park, a human rights activist, writing for the Mercury News:

Sixty to 70 percent of the North Korean refugees in China are women, 70 to 80 percent of whom, without recourse to legal rights or protections, have become victims of sex trafficking. Their children conceived through rape are considered stateless in China and are vulnerable to trafficking and abandonment. Furthermore, innumerable children who escaped from North Korea with their parents have become orphans because one or both of their parents were found by Chinese officials. These children also usually end up homeless or become victims of exploitation.
Park says that North Korean refugees are welcome in South Korea, and are considered citizens and thus should have diplomatic protection, but that doesn't seem to make any difference to the Chinese who currently have 80 defectors detained in prison ready to be sent home.

Among them are a 16-year-old orphan who escaped North Korea after losing his parents in an attempt to find an older brother in South Korea, and a 19-year-old woman whose parents live in Seoul. If sent back to North Korea, they will be tortured and most likely killed. Kim Jong-un vowed in January to annihilate those who attempt to leave the country and their entire families.

In spite of requests from South Korea not to repatriate nine caputured refugees, last week China sent them back anyway.

The problem is no-one seems to want to ruffle China's feathers, and so North Korean's will continue to be shipped back to an uncertain fate.

Parade Magazine's 2011 #1 "World's Worst Dictator" Kim Jong-il Is Dead At 69

North Korea's lunatic leader Kim Jong-il, who has hovered in the top ten of Parade Magazine's 'World's Worst Dictators' for as long as I can remember, had the dubious honor of being named 2011's number 1 the day before his death was announced.

This morning I picked up my Sunday Parade Magazine, and listed were this year's top ten.  At the top of the list was Kim Jong-il. Followed by

2. Isaias Afewerki, Eritrea
3. Omar al-Bashir, Sudan
4. Bashar al-Assad, Syria
5. U Thein Sein, Burma (Myanmar)
6. Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov (imagine having that name) Turkmenistan
7. Raul Castro, Cuba
8. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Equatorial Guinea
9. Hugo Chavez, Venezuela

I'm not sure what criteria is used for ranking, but over the years they have all at some point switched positions. Although these 10 certainly deserve to be on the list, there are plenty of others who definitely warrant joining them since they are all equally nasty. But as evil as they all are,  Kim Jong-il was one of the more bizarre ones.

Jong-il, aka 'Dear Leader', 'Supreme Leader', 'the General', 'Generalissimo' and 'Our Father', was 69 when he apparently dropped dead on a train a few days ago. According to the BBC, the announcement on state television claimed he had died of  '..physical and mental over-work', but as secretive as N. Korea is, the truth will probably never be known. His youngest son, Kim Jong-un, will take over leadership, and only time will tell whether Jong-un will continue the 'cult of personality' that began with Jong-il's dictator father, Kim il-sung.

I watched a fascinating documentary a few years ago about N. Korea (see part one below). Lisa Ling went undercover and exposed the grotesque manner in which Jong-il was revered and worshipped as a God.  One of the most isolated and secretive countries in the world he has starved, tortured and kept his people in poverty, all the while living a lavish lifestyle.  He is said to have deposited 4 billion dollars in banks in Luxembourg, just in case. A hedonist, he regularly chomped on lobster (with silver chopsticks), airlifted big macs from China, had 10,000 bottles of alcohol in his cellar, and had his personal chefs (many of whom were kidnapped and eventually fled) fetch caviar and other delicacies from around the world. And yet his people starved

And Jong-il was used to getting what he wanted. An ardent film buff, he actually kidnapped a South Korean director and his actress wife in the late 1970s to create propaganda films for the 'Dear Leader'.

Not that things could get any worse for the N. Koreans under his son, but one can hope they get better. Though I doubt it.  His children are all probably very happy living the good life, and like Jong-il continued his father's legacy, I'm sure Jong-un will continue his daddy's.  With nuclear capabilities, this evil, mad dictator won't be missed.

Next?

UPDATE: 50 bizarre facts about Jong-il and N. Korea
