Tennessee's Chattanooga Times Free Press published this cartoon.
It very simply clarifies what the whole Egyptian revolution is all about. After toppling the autocratic- albeit mostly secular- rule of Hosni Mubarak, the battle is now raging between those who want Democracy, and those Islamist/Muslim Brotherhood types who want a Theocracy.
The secular Egyptians believed that Mohammed Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood would rule with a moderate hand. That proved to be an incredibly foolish mistake. Now they are all suffering the consequences.
I doubt either side is going to give up.

More Violence In Egypt- Pro-Morsi Supporters Torch Three Churches, Journalists Killed
Violence in the Middle East is never gone for very long. Egypt is back in the throes of it, and pro-Mohammed Morsi supporters are taking it out on the Coptic Christian minorities.
Meanwhile, there have been many wounded and killed, on both sides, including 61-year-old Sky News cameraman Mick Deane, and 26-year-old Dubai reporter for XPRESS Habiba Ahmed Abd Elaziz. No-one seems to know who is responsible for their deaths.
Supporters of deposed Islamist president Mohamed Mursi torched three churches in central Egypt on Wednesday in reprisal attacks as police dispersed demonstrations in Cairo, reports said.
The assailants threw firebombs at Mar Gergiss church in Sohag, a city with a large community of Coptic Christians who comprise up to 10 percent of Egypt’s 84 million people, causing it to burn down, the official MENA news agency said.
Security officials told AFP that another two churches were attacked in el-Menia province, leaving them partially damaged by fire.
Coptic rights group the Maspero Youth Union reported the same information, accusing Mursi’s Muslim Brotherhood movement of “waging a war of retaliation” against the country’s Christians.

Video interview with the 11-year-old boy who was beaten up at a pro-Morsi protest.
The brave young kid has been identified as Ahmad Osama Sayyed, and he claims that he was telling the protesters "Shame on you. You're destroying the country. To hell with Morsi" when he was attacked by pro-Morsi goons. According to the boy, one of those was allegedly Yahya Hamid, the Minister of Investment in Mohammed Morsi's cabinet. Ahmad tells the interviewer that he hates the Muslim Brotherhood because he considers them barbaric.

Head Of Egyptian Military, el-Sisi, Islamist Sympathizer?
Some troubling background information on General Abdel Fattah el-Sisi- the defence minister who made the statement about ousting Mohammed Morsi- from the Guardian UK.
Hopefully he will remain neutral.
Read more on Guardian UK.
Sisi, a career soldier, was head of military intelligence and the youngest member of the 19-strong Supreme Council of the Armed Forces. But despite coming from the heart of the security establishment he had a reputation for being sympathetic to the Muslim Brotherhood — the reason, many Egyptians assumed, Morsi chose him for the job. Sisi is said to be a religious man, and his wife, unusually, wears the full niqab (face veil.)Apparently Sisi also allowed Islamists to attend the "apolitical" military officer's training academy.
Mohamed Beltagy, a senior Brotherhood figure, has described receiving a "brotherly" warning from the intelligence chief about an impending attack by regime thugs on demonstrators in Tahrir Square in what became known as the "battle of the camel" — one of the brutally defining moments of the revolution that overthrew Hosni Mubarak, in February 2011.
But Sisi also attracted criticism for appearing to defend the behaviour of the armed forces in detaining and beating women protestors who were subjected to strip searches and "virginity tests" and threatened with prostitution charges.
Hopefully he will remain neutral.

Mohammed Morsi Has Gone Bye-Bye- Military Coup In Egypt
The Egyptian people managed to do it. Again! Well done.

Video of the statement by el-Sisi (sometimes al-Sisi), and the jubilation that ensued.
Not that there won't be any trouble from the pro-Morsi Islamists. You can bet that there will be.
But lets hope the people choose the right leader next time around.
Egypt's military has ousted the nation's Islamist president, replacing him with the chief justice of the Supreme Constitutional Court, calling for early presidential election and suspending the Islamist-backed constitution.
Army chief Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi, in a televised address to the nation on Wednesday, said a government of technocrats will be appointed to run the country during a transition period he did not specify.
An aide of ousted President Mohammed Morsi, Ayman Ali, said the former leader has been moved to an undisclosed location. He gave no details.
Morsi's Facebook page quoted him on Wednesday as saying he rejected measures announced by the army as a "military coup." It was unclear whether Morsi has access to his own Facebook page or if the statement was posted by an aide.
Cheers erupted among millions of protesters nationwide who were demanding Morsi's ouster. Fireworks lit the Cairo night sky.

Egyptian Husband Beats Wife For Mocking Morsi- Wife Asks For Divorce
After being subjected to beatings by her husband for mocking President Mohammed Morsi, an Egyptian woman has filed for a divorce after twelve years of marriage.
Then again, Arizona housewife Holly Solomon ran over her husband because she blamed him for Barack Obama's win after she discovered he did not vote.
Filing for divorce this week, the 31-year-old schoolteacher, who was not named by Egyptian press, told the court that her 35-year-old partner battered her on several occasions, for speaking about the embattled Egyptian president in a “disrespectful way.”At least she's still alive. This Egyptian plumber beat his pregnant wife to death for not voting for Morsi.
The violence resulted in her often leaving home to stay with her parents, according to local media reports.
The husband confessed in court that his wife continually mocked Mursi.
“I cannot live with him anymore,” said the woman, as quoted by Egypt-based al-Masry al-Youm. “We’ve been fighting over this for 8 months.”

Video- Anti-Morsi/Anti-U.S. Protest In Egypt Led By Women
Some very angry Egyptians protesting against the man they voted into power. Looks like they are having buyers re-Morsi. A group of women (and men), led by a veiled older lady in the town of Manufiyya, chanting for the "dog" to get out.
Note the anti-U.S. sentiment, though. Apparently they don't want our money, too bad that can't be arranged. But I can see why they might feel resentment towards the U.S. After all, the Obama administration has embraced the Muslim Brotherhood. And then we have the U.S. Ambassador to Egypt Anne Patterson criticizing their protests.

US Ambassador To Egypt Pisses Off Opposition Groups By Criticizing Their Protests
The U.S. has had a history of backing the wrong people in foreign lands, and Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood is no exception. Sure, the Egyptian people voted overwhelmingly for the Islamists, but that doesn't mean we need to get cozy with them, or meddle in their affairs. Egyptian opposition groups are holding President Mohammed Morsi's hand to the fire by continuing to protest, and we have no right to tell them they can't. But that's what we've apparently done, courtesy of Anne Patterson, U.S. ambassador to Egypt, who pissed off a lot of people when she criticized plans for demonstrations aimed at forcing Morsi to step down.
Anne Patterson responded to widespread talk among Egyptian liberals that Washington had thrown its weight behind Islamist President Mohamed Mursi by saying in a speech on Tuesday that the United States was working closely with the elected government and also listening to all Egypt’s political groups. The Egyptians foolishly voted the Muslim Brotherhood in, and now they want Morsi out, but Patterson feels the protests are only risking more violence and that they should just deal with who they have in power.
But by Thursday, after extensive local media coverage of her remarks and condemnation by opposition leaders of “interference” in Egypt’s internal affairs, social media was dominated by angry and hostile comments directed toward Patterson and her embassy.
Among the more polite, tycoon Naguib Sawiris tweeted: “Madam Ambassador, ... Please bless us with your silence.”
“This is the government that you and your fellow citizens elected,” she said. “Even if you voted for others, I don’t think the elected nature of this government is seriously in doubt.
“The United States took the position that we would work with whoever won elections that met international standards.”
“Egypt needs stability to get its economic house in order, and more violence on the streets will do little more than add new names to the lists of martyrs. Instead, I recommend Egyptians get organized.
“Join or start a political party that reflects your values and aspirations. Egyptians need to know a better path forward. This will take time. You will have to roll up your sleeves and work hard.”She doesn't realize that Egypt is not the U.S., and if Islamism is allowed to take root in that country it will be very difficult to return to secularism and democracy. We need to let the people of Egypt do what they have to do to create a democratic, secular state. We need to stay out of it.

"Super Morsi"- Super Mario Spoof of Egypt's President - Video
Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi stars in a spoof of Super Mario as "Super Morsi."
The spoof game’s “Mushroom Kingdom” includes opposition include cut-out heads of the National Salvation Front’s Amr Moussa and Hamdeen Sabahy, also former presidential candidates running in the election with Mursi last year.
Before the video ends, we see “Super Mursi” encountering a collision of a different kind with Muslim Brotherhood’s Supreme Guide Mohammed Badie.
“Super Mursi” appears to push Badie above his head, with a little nudge, rather than crushing him below – like he had done with the opposition figureheads.
The video ends with an alternative to the words “Game Over.” Instead “Thawra Over” appears on a black screen, with the word “Thawra” meaning revolution in Arabic – an indication that “Super Mursi’s” moves may have done more harm to the uprising than good.

Egypt's Morsi Entered Into Space Contest By Protest Group
You could be one of 22 lucky people to travel into space by entering Axe Company's Apollo Space Academy contest. Axe, which makes men's personal care products, along with U.S. astronaut Buzz Aldrin- of moon-walking fame- are sponsoring the trip. But you'll have to compete with Egypt's president Mohammed Morsi for one of those spots. That's because the April 6 Youth Movement, the fools who were instrumental in getting Morsi elected, have had a change of heart, so they entered him into the competition. They're hoping he wins and never comes back.
On the April 6 Youth Movement Facebook page, they claim they signed him up and that he's in the lead. However, I clicked on the link to the Axe profile page for Morsi, and it's not there. I can only assume Axe removed it.
On the Arabic version of their Facebook page they wrote:
A little background on the April 6 group who were the backbone of the 2011 Arab Spring in Egypt:
They wish.
I hope the Arab world has learned its lesson about voting in Islamists, though I doubt it.

A little background on the April 6 group who were the backbone of the 2011 Arab Spring in Egypt:
Many of its supporters backed Dr Mursi in the June 2012 election he narrowly won to become Egypt’s first freely elected president.
But later, the group became among the fiercest critics of the president and his Muslim Brotherhood, the fundamentalist group from which he hails. The opposition accuses Dr. Mursi of monopolising power and going back on campaign promises to have an inclusive government and introduce far reaching reforms.Contestants are supposed to mention why they want to travel into space, under Morsi's profile they wrote:
“I want to go to space because I completed my mission.”

Iranian Ayatollah Lackies Offer To Islamize Egypt
While leftists and Islamists decry U.S. "hegemony", they have been far more guilty of imperialistic and supremacist goals than we have- in the past and to this day. Centuries ago we had the Ottoman Empire. Then we had Soviet imperialism in Eastern Europe. China invaded Tibet. Russians invaded Afghanistan. Now Iran wants to help Egypt Islamize the country. They're already meddling in a bunch of neighbouring lands in the region (including Syria), so with an Islamist-led government, Egypt seems a perfect target.
Apparently, 17 of Iran's Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei's lackies, including his brother-in-law and his international affairs advisor, have offered to help set Egypt on the road to becoming an Islamic state. According to Afkar News:
Maybe they eliminated poverty in the rural areas, but half the urban population lives in poverty. They're even writing rap songs about it.

.. the signatories of the message addressed to Mursi took this initiative on the occasion of the second anniversary of the Egyptian revolution and owing to their belief that the experience of the Islamic revolution in Iran should be emulated in Egypt to establish a religious state.
“In spite of the economic sanctions and political blockade, Iran is proud to have achieved a great progress thanks to its Islamic law and the wise leadership of Sayyid Ruhollah Mostafavi Musavi Khomeini and Khamenei,” said the message.
This progress, the message added, can be seen in the elimination of poverty in Iran’s countryside and impoverished towns as well as scientific and technological advancement and several educational, industrial, and economic achievements.
The signatories, who called themselves the Muslim Thinkers of Iran, said they are willing to transfer all the expertise and knowledge they have to the Egyptian government and people.
They urged Mursi to form a religious state and not to pay attention to “international goals and pressures” or “trends that call for separating religion from politics, culture, and economy.”

Ahmadinejad Gets Shoe Thrown At Him In Egypt
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad took a little trip to Egypt probably to advise Mohammed Morsi how to turn the country into an Islamic state, just like his own. And although the Islamists were obviously fawning over him, not everyone was so thrilled with the visit. In fact, Mahmoud suffered the same indignity that George W. Bush did when some fellow threw his shoe at him.

2nd Arab Spring? Anti-Muslim Brotherhood Protests Turn Violent in Egypt
If the photo is any indication, there were thousands upon thousands of protesters in Cairo's Tahrir Square on the second anniversary of the Egyptian Arab Spring uprising. Last time around it was to protest President Hosni Mubarak and his regime, this time they were prostesting the Islamist they overwhelmingly voted for as president- Mohammed Morsi. The people are so disenchanted, the protests have once again turned very violent with some 100 or so wounded, and at least seven dead. As a result, troops are being mobilized in the Suez Canal. Protesters have stormed buildings and even torched one of the Muslim Brotherhood's.
Egyptian protesters on Friday stormed the governorate headquarters in the canal city of Ismailiya and attempted to storm two other buildings elsewhere, witnesses said.
Protesters surrounded the governorate building in Damietta and in the Nile Delta city of Kafr el-Sheikh they stormed the courtyard of the governorate leading to clashes, witnesses told AFP.
Meanwhile, the headquarters of the political wing of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood, the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), was torched in Ismailiya east of Cairo, an official told Al Arabiya.
[snip]
The Muslim Brotherhood said protesters also attempted to storm one of its offices in the Cairo district of Tawfikiya.
[snip]
Demonstrators outside the state television building in Cairo blocked traffic as marches of tens of thousands of people swarmed the capital, and tear gas was also fired at protesters in second city Alexandria.
I don't blame them, they fought long and hard for freedom, but did they really expect anything good to come of voting in to power the Muslim Brotherhood? And did the MB think the people would sit still while the little freedom they did have under Mubarak erodes even further.
Is the beginning of a second Arab Spring?

Morsi Rants About Jews And Obama, The US Gifts Him With F-16 Fighter Jets
We've sent four F-16 fighter jets to Egypt, and plan on sending more? Really? After Morsi was outed for his anti-Semitic/Israel rants, and for criticizing Barack Obama? We're sending fighter jets to a country that is now run by Islamists, and borders Israel?
The aggravating rest of the story here.
Four F-16 fighter jets left the U.S. this morning, bound for Egypt as part of a foreign aid package critics say should have been scrapped when the nation elected a president who has called President Obama a liar and urged that hatred of Jews be instilled in children.
A source who works on the naval air base in Fort Worth, Texas, confirmed the departure of the state-of-the-art fighter planes to FoxNews.com. Sixteen F-16s and 200 Abrams tanks are to be given to the Egyptian government before the end of the year under a foreign aid deal signed in 2010 with then-Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, a longtime U.S. ally.
Critics, including several in Congress, say it doesn't make sense to follow through with the package, given that new Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, elected last summer, has given decidedly mixed signals about relations with the U.S. While he has toned down his rhetoric since his election, in 2010 - the same year the aid package was struck - Morsi attacked Obama for supporting Israel.
“One American president after another — and most recently, that Obama — talks about American guarantees for the safety of the Zionists in Palestine," Morsi, then a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, said on Egyptian television in reaction to Obama's 2009 speech in Cairo. "[Obama] was very clear when he uttered his empty words on the land of Egypt. He uttered many lies, of which he couldn’t have fulfilled a single word, even if he were sincere — which he is not.”
The aggravating rest of the story here.

15 Years Jail For Egyptian Christian Convert and Her 7 Kids
In spite of Islam supposedly advocating 'no compulsion in religion', and Mohammed Morsi claiming that there should be respect for all religions, an Egyptian widow and her seven kids have been sentenced to 15 years in jail for converting to Christianity. The irony of it all is that she was originally Christian, married Mohamed Abdel-Wahhad Mustafa (a Muslim) 23 years ago, converted to Islam, and then when he passed away decided to convert back to Christianity so she could receive her Christian family's inheritance.
Not only did Nadia Mohamed Ali and her seven children receive prison sentences, so did the people in the registration office that helped her get new identity cards between 2004 and 2006.
Thanks to Mohammed Morsi, his oh-so tolerant Muslim Brotherhood, and the new constitution, things are only going to get worse.
Jordan Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice said:
Diplomatic intervention won't do a damn thing to change religious persecution in Egypt or any other country that persecutes its minority religious population.
So Christians who are in the financial position to do so will continue leaving Egypt, and those who aren't will continue to be persecuted, because that's what Islamists do so well.
Samuel Tadros, a research fellow at Hudson Institute's Center for Religious Freedom, said conversions like Nadia's have been common in the past, but said Egypt's new Sharia-based constitution "is a real disaster in terms of religion freedom.”
"The cases will increase in the future," Tadros said. "It will be much harder for people to return to Christianity."
[snip]
Tadros said the constitution limits the practice of Christianity because “religious freedom has to be understood within the boundaries of Sharia.” He added that the constitution prescribes that the highest Sunni authority should be referred to as an interpreter of the religion clause contained in the constitution.
Opponents of the constitution, including Coptic Christians and secular and liberal groups, protested at the time against passage of the document because of the mix of Islamic-based Sharia law and politics.
Jordan Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice said:
"Now that Sharia law has become an integral part of Egypt's new constitution, Christians in that country are at greater risk than ever. " "This is another tragic case that underscores the growing problem of religious intolerance in the Muslim world. To impose a prison sentence for a family because of their Christian faith sadly reveals the true agenda of this new government: Egypt has no respect for international law or religious liberty.” [snip]
Sekulow urged U.S. diplomatic intervention in Egypt to promote religious freedom. Morsi is scheduled to meet with President Obama, possibly in March
”The U.S. State Department must play more of a role in discouraging this kind of persecution," Sekulow said. "The U.S. should not be an idle bystander. The U.S. provides more than $1 billion to Egypt each year. The State Department should speak out forcefully against this kind of religious persecution in Egypt.”
Diplomatic intervention won't do a damn thing to change religious persecution in Egypt or any other country that persecutes its minority religious population.

Egypt's President Morsi Caught In Lie About Working For NASA- MEMRI Video
Egypt's President Mohammed Morsi caught in a lie about having worked for NASA.
These people who so blatantly lie must be idiots to think that someone won't find out they fibbed.
I'm so glad to see journalists in that country courageous enough to challenge their leaders. Of course, the talk-show host who proves Morsi lied, Mahmoud Saad, will probably some day end up dead or in jail, but at least people are finally finding out that Morsi is an anti-Semite and a liar, for those who even care.

U.S. Condemns Egypt's Morsi For His 2010 Anti-Semitic Rhetoric
UPDATE: Here's Morsi's 2010 video where he calls Obama insincere and talks about "nursing our children and grandchildren on hatred towards those Zionists and Jews, and all those who support them."
It's taken a while for the U.S. to respond to both a translated video of a 2010 interview with Egypt's current President Mohammed Morsi that emerged on January 3rd, courtesy of MEMRI, showing his virulently anti-Semitic side, and another video of Morsi at a rally purportedly encouraging Egyptians to "nurse our hatred" for Jews and Zionists. But they finally have, via State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland.
Nuland said:
White House mouthpiece, Jay Carney, had this to say:
Granted, Morsi has said he will maintain the peace treaty with Israel, but for how long?
Naturally, the Israelis are a tad concerned since this has all come to light,
I still want to know what took so long for the U.S. to condemn Morsi. I posted about the video on January 3rd, it is now the 15th. Perhaps it took Egyptian satirist Bassem Yousef, who is in trouble himself for lambasting Morsi and who aired the video recently on his TV programme, to prod them into action.

It’s counter to the goals of peace.”But why would he repudiate what he said when he obviously believes it? And even if he did, that wouldn't change a thing.
White House mouthpiece, Jay Carney, had this to say:
“We believe that President Morsi should make clear that he respects people of all faiths and that this type of rhetoric is unacceptable in a democratic Egypt."And why should Morsi be any different than his counterparts in other Middle Eastern and Muslim Asian nations?
Granted, Morsi has said he will maintain the peace treaty with Israel, but for how long?
Naturally, the Israelis are a tad concerned since this has all come to light,
“When the leader of a country has a history of statements demonizing Jews, and he does not do anything to correct it, it makes sense that many people in Israel would conclude that he cannot be trusted as a partner for peace,” Kenneth Jacobson, deputy national director of the U.S. based Anti-Defamation League, told The New York Times.Of course, no comment from Morsi and his people.

Morsi in 2010: No Negotiating With "Descendants of Apes and Pigs"
This is what Egypt's President Mohammed Morsi had to say about Israel in 2010, only two years ago:
That all Muslims and Arabs must support the Palestinian fighters against Zionist "blood-suckers" and "descendants of pigs apes and pigs", and besiege them wherever they are. There should be military resistance within Palestine, and political and economic resistance through boycotts, including boycotting all U.S. (and others) products that support Israel. "None of the Arab or Muslim peoples and regimes should have dealings with them." "They must not stand on any Arab or Islamic land. They must be driven out of our countries." "Resistance is the only way to liberate the land of Palestine." "All ties of all kinds must be severed with this plundering criminal entity." "We want a country for the Palestinians on the entire land of Palestine."
And this is the kicker:
"They have been fanning the flames of civil strife wherever they were in history. They are hostile by nature."
Ironic, considering all the violence and hostility Muslims have been perpetrating- even against each other- over the centuries, but most noticeably the last few decades.
And note, Zionist is just another word for Jew.

Israel Will Cease To Exist In 10 Years, Claims Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Official
Essam el-Erian of the Islamist Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), and one of President Mohammed Morsi's advisers, is in hot water for telling Egyptian Jews to come on home during an interview on Dream2 TV on December 27, 2102.
Erian said of the Jews:
But Morsi spokesman Yasser Ali has said Erian's comments are not representative of Morsi's administration, and lawyer Mohamed Salem wants blood.
During the ONTV interview Erian tried to explain what he meant by his December 27 comments.
The difference is, as far as I can tell, last week he didn't actually mention Israel will cease to exist. There's a major difference between welcoming the Jews back to Egypt and claiming there will be no Israel within a decade.
And why would Egyptian Jews want to return to an Islamist-led country where the Christian population is persecuted and marginalized? They'd be fools. As it is, I doubt they will be welcomed back.
Erian said of the Jews:
"It is better for Jews to live in a country like Egypt rather than in a country contaminated by occupation."This had some Israelis elated, including one Israeli TV channel:
He added that Jews should return to Egypt to "make way for the Palestinian people" and said, "Every Egyptian has the right to come back to Egypt, no matter what his religion.
“Egyptian Jews should refuse to live under a brutal, bloody and racist occupation stained with war crimes against humanity,” Erian said.
“After thousands of years since Egyptian Jews left Egypt, finally someone has called for their return,” the channel said, according to a report from the Egyptian Al-Wafd newspaper.
But Morsi spokesman Yasser Ali has said Erian's comments are not representative of Morsi's administration, and lawyer Mohamed Salem wants blood.
Lawyer Mohamed Salem filed a complaint with prosecutors on Saturday against Erian, demanding he be stripped of parliamentary immunity and interrogated for his remarks which, Salem said, endanger the country's sovereignty and unity. He also accused the Islamist leader of disseminating false information by suggesting that Arab and Egyptian Jews in the occupied lands, who left Egypt during Nasser's presidency, are to be blamed for the occupation. Then on Tuesday, Erian told ONTV that in ten years time there will be no Israel, which is probably what he really meant by welcoming the Egyptian Jews to return to Egypt. This ceasing to exist of course does not take into account what happens to all those Jews who did not happen to migrate from Egypt to Israel back in 1948, 1958 and 1967 after the Israel/Egypt wars. Apparently, most of the 80,000 or so who lived there left the country.
During the ONTV interview Erian tried to explain what he meant by his December 27 comments.
Erian said: the “ideology of Zionism” had ended in failure and “Palestine’s occupiers” should leave to make way for the return of the Palestinians.
“Jewish occupiers of the territory of historic Palestine are an obstacle to the Palestinians’ right of return”, he said. “Anyone who can read the future can see that this project has a decade, less than a decade to go, and it is our faith that the people of Palestine can then return to Palestine”.
Erian’s latest comments have alarmed Israel, with the official Israel Radio station expressing “disappointment”.

According to Egypt’s private-owned newspaper “Youm 7”, Israel Radio blasted Erian, saying Israel has never questioned the legitimacy of the Egyptian state, and expects to be treated equally by Egypt, with which it has a peace treaty.
The backlash from Israel Radio was an altogether different response from other Israeli media outlets.
Earlier this week Israel’s Channel 10 welcomed Erian’s remarks inviting Jews to return to Egypt.
“After thousands of years since Egyptian Jews left Egypt, finally someone has called for their return”, the channel said, according to the Egyptian Al-Wafd newspaper.
