Arab Voice Of Donald Duck Proud He Was Fired For Anti-Israel Tweets

The Arabic voice of Donald Duck used to be Egyptian Wael Mansour until he started tweeting anti-Israel posts which resulted in a big fat pink slip. And he's dang proud of the fact that he was fired. He posted that on Twitter too.

“Disney decided I am no longer the official voice of Donald Duck in its middle-east dubbed cartoons because of an anti-Zionism tweet. Proud!”

He told al-Arabiya:

“I am proud of what happened, I do not regret it at all as it was exactly how I felt at that time.”

“I am against Zionism and Israel but I love the Jews,” He highlighted several times during the conversation clarifying that he even got text messages from Jews telling him that they respected his opinion.

He loves the Jews?  Doubt that very much, but he does respect and understand Disney's decision to fire him.
“Now, I understand what they come from especially that it is an International organization which cares about its image.”
The Twitter post that led to the firing was:

“I truly wish #Israel is demolished, I hate Zionism, I have so much hate inside me with every single child they murder or land they seize!”
Yes we are free to say whatever we like, but we will suffer the consequences for that freedom.

Israel A Wound That Needs To Be Removed- Says New Iranian President Rohani

Anyone who thought things might change under the leadership of the new so-called 'moderate' Iranian president Hassan Rohani (Rouhani) can lay those hopes to rest. At least when it comes to Iran's relationship with Israel. Rohani claimed that Israel is "a wound" that must be excised.

"The Zionist regime has been a wound on the body of the Islamic world for years and the wound should be removed," Rouhani was quoted as saying by the semi-official ISNA news agency.

The president-elect also expressed doubts about the possibility of an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal even as the two sides resumed negotiations in Washington this week, ending a five-year freeze in Mideast talks.

"Israelis show a compromising face to the world but continue their expansionism in practice," Rouhani said, according to Fars, another semi-official news agency.
Talk about showing one face to the world, but he's simply echoing what most every Muslim in the Middle East believes.

Peace in that region? Never. The Muslims will always hate the Jews/Israelis, and the Sunnis will always hate the Shia and vice versa. They're incapable of embracing peace. There are a few exceptions, but not enough to make a difference.

U.S. Condemns Egypt's Morsi For His 2010 Anti-Semitic Rhetoric

UPDATE:  Here's Morsi's 2010 video where he calls Obama insincere and talks about "nursing our children and grandchildren on hatred towards those Zionists and Jews, and all those who support them."

It's taken a while for the U.S. to respond to both a translated video of a 2010 interview with Egypt's current President Mohammed Morsi that emerged on January 3rd, courtesy of MEMRI, showing his virulently anti-Semitic side, and another video of Morsi at a rally purportedly encouraging Egyptians to "nurse our hatred" for Jews and Zionists.  But they finally have, via State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland.

Nuland said:

“The language that we’ve seen is deeply offensive. We think that these comments should be repudiated, and they should be repudiated firmly.” [snip] “We completely reject these statements as we do any language that espouses religious hatred." “This kind of rhetoric has been used in this region for far too long. It’s counter to the goals of peace.”
But why would he repudiate what he said when he obviously believes it? And even if he did, that wouldn't change a thing.

White House mouthpiece, Jay Carney, had this to say:

“We believe that President Morsi should make clear that he respects people of all faiths and that this type of rhetoric is unacceptable in a democratic Egypt."
And why should Morsi be any different than his counterparts in other Middle Eastern and Muslim Asian nations?

Granted, Morsi has said he will maintain the peace treaty with Israel, but for how long?

Naturally, the Israelis are a tad concerned since this has all come to light,

“When the leader of a country has a history of statements demonizing Jews, and he does not do anything to correct it, it makes sense that many people in Israel would conclude that he cannot be trusted as a partner for peace,” Kenneth Jacobson, deputy national director of the U.S. based Anti-Defamation League, told The New York Times.
Of course, no comment from Morsi and his people.

I still want to know what took so long for the U.S. to condemn Morsi. I posted about the video on January 3rd, it is now the 15th. Perhaps it took Egyptian satirist Bassem Yousef, who is in trouble himself for lambasting Morsi and who aired the video recently on his TV programme, to prod them into action.

Tunisian Cleric Denies Calling For Wiping Out The Jews

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Suhayli, the Tunisian cleric who called for wiping out the Jews in a sermon which was broadcast on Hannibal TV denies he said any such thing. Nope. He was not talking about killing them all. Not at all calling on killing Tunisian Jews. He was only talking about:

"...a sect of Jews that was mentioned in the Quran." "was talking about their digression from the path and laws of Allah, and their distortion of his words."
I guess it matters not to Suhayli that since they were NOT Muslims, they had every right to digress from those laws and path. And because they were naughty Jews they deserved what they got, back in the day.

"That sect, mentioned in Quran, justly earned the wrath and punishments of Allah." [for killing some Muslim prophets] "These are Quranic facts. These are the words of Allah."

Referring to that evil Jewish sect that he claims still exists in Palestine:

"These are the extremist racist Zionists, who have been killing and slaughtering the Palestinian people for decades.  They have occupied their lands and trampled their honor.  Everybody in the world knows this."
"Then I called upon the Islamic nation to assume its responsibility regarding these continuous attacks." "I absolutely did not call to kill the Jews- I did not call to kill them all. Obviously, some among them are peaceful."
I would venture to say that he believes that those "Zionist Jews" are fair game.

Then he talks about anti-Zionist Jews, probably referring to the wacko, self-loathing Jews  Neturei Karta (who also happen to be holocaust deniers of sorts), and  how in Islam, Muslims are not allowed to harm non-Muslims (even though they do) because:

"Islam is a religion that preaches tolerance and non-violence."

And yes it is, for some.  Canadian Tarek Fateh comes to mind.

Of course Suhayli's backtracking has more to do with the lawsuit filed against him by a group in Tunisia that advocates for minorities, and the Facebook page "Ennahda Made Me Hate Islam."  He was horrified to find his photo posted along with comments like: "Tunisian criminal of jahili origins calls to kill our Jewish Tunisian people."

Hamas Leader Meshaal Will Never Recognize Israel

For all you pro-Palestinian tools who think that Palestinian leaders have any true desire to make peace with Israel, and that it's the Israelis that are the major stumbling block in the whole peace process, take note of this:

Khaled Meshaal, exiled Hamas leader, said of Israel during his first visit to the Gaza Strip- ever:

"Palestine is ours from the river to the sea and from the south to the north. There will be no concession on an inch of the land."

"We will never recognise the legitimacy of the Israeli occupation and therefore there is no legitimacy for Israel, no matter how long it will take."

He also said that he would free more Palestinian terrorists (though he called them "prisoners") that are still jailed in Israel. In other words, he intends on kidnapping more Israeli soldiers like Gilad Shalit, since that worked so well for them. After five years in captivity Shalit was sent back to Israel in exchange for 1,027 Palestinians, many of them terrorists who are probably itching to kill some more Israelis.

Meshaal said :

"We will not rest until we liberate the prisoners. The way we freed some of the prisoners in the past is the way we will use to free the remaining prisoners."

Meshaal went to Gaza for a quickie trip to celebrate the terrorist organization's 25th anniversary.

As long as Hamas exists, there will never be peace between Israel and Palestine.  And all you people who call yourselves anti-Zionists but not anti-Semites, take a long hard look within, because they are one and the same.

Israeli Zionist Regime Will Implode- Claims Jewish Iranian Lawmaker?

Iran's official PressTV picked up on an alleged comment made by Dr. Siamek Mareh-Sedq on Iran's semi-official Fars News (more like Farce News) in response to the latest self-immolation by an Israeli.  The good doctor supposedly said:
“Given the injustices that exist even with regard to the settlers inside the occupied territories, emergence of such conducts as self-immolation was predictable and I believe we will soon witness the disintegration of the Zionist regime (of Israel) from within.”

Sounds like the typical anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, anti-Zionist rhetoric one would expect from some Muslim zealot, but Mareh-Sedq is actually the rep for Iranian Jews in Iran's parliament. Whether he actually said it is up for debate, but PressTV and Fars news would have us believe Mareh-Sedq is predicting the "imminent implosion" of Israel.

PressTV goes on to report:

The incident came just two days after another protester, 57-year-old Moshe Silman, died of the 94-percent burns he sustained after setting himself alight on July 14.

Silman self-immolated during a demonstration held to mark the first anniversary of protests against social injustice and high cost of living that swept Israel last summer. Several demonstrations have been held in support of Silman over the past days.

Demonstrators also attacked and torched the office of the National Insurance Institute in Tel Aviv a few days ago. The institute is blamed for Silman’s financial troubles and his self-immolation.

Analyzing the situation, the Iranian lawmaker said the “inhumane structure” of the Zionist regime, both within and outside the occupied territories, has incited such acts of desperation.

“The structure of the Zionist regime is inhumane; so the relations defined within this framework will not be humane and it is natural for the victims of these inhumane relations and structure to react.”

What a joke. Inhumane? At least Israel doesn't kill, torture and rape political prisoners, or people who demonstrate against the Iranian regime and its evil Mullahs. At least apostates and adulterers aren't executed or stoned to death. At least children aren't sentenced to death and executed. At least gays aren't hanged.

I have a query into an Iranian/Jewish website as to the veracity of the above quotes, but since the Internet in Iran is highly regulated, I doubt I will hear back.  I will update, if I hear back. But at this point, I would venture to say the comment was not made, misconstrued or coerced. Or he could be a Jewish anti-Zionist, they do exist.

Iran Blames Illegal Drug Trade On Zionists

More wackiness from Iran, but this time not from Mahmoud but from Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi who blamed the world's illegal drug problem on Zionists.

Zach Peterson over at Radio Free Europe writes:

According to the UN’s most recent report on drug use, somewhere between 3 and 6 percent of the global adult population uses illicit drugs. That’s a lot of people -- hundreds of millions.

Although countless amounts of money have been spent countering illegal drug production and trafficking, and millions more spent on treatment and research into addiction, the motivating factors behind addiction may be far more simple -- The Talmud.

In a speech at an antidrug conference in Tehran on June 25, Iranian Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi posited his theory that “Zionists” -- particularly those who follow Talmudic teachings -- are in control of the illegal drug trade. He went so far as to offer money to any member of the audience who could “research and find one single Zionist who is an addict.” According to Rahimi, there is no such thing as a Zionist drug addict, thus proving his point.

Interestingly, the UN report shows that Israel actually has relatively high rates of illicit drug use (not all Israelis are Zionists, of course) when compared to the rest of the world. More than 8 percent of the adult population uses marijuana, more than 1 percent uses amphetamines, and from 0.5 to 1 percent uses opiates and ecstasy.

Israeli drug use aside, Iran stands on one of the front lines of the global drug trade. According to Narconon International, an estimated 140 metric tons of finished heroin crosses the Iranian border with Afghanistan annually on its way to Europe. Most of it makes it through, as only about 30 metric tons are seized by authorities.

To boot, the UN’s antidrug representative to Iran had -- literally minutes before Rahimi’s speech -- praised Iran’s cooperation in combating the global drug trade. Just a week before the conference, Iranian state media quoted Brigadier General Ali Moayedi -- the country’s top antinarcotics officer -- as saying Iran has “shown practically to the world that we can stop drug trafficking and we are ready to share our experience.” Apparently, vice president Rahimi didn’t get the memo.

This supposed “Zionist plot” is the latest in what has been a common theme from the regime in Tehran. Other such plots include (but are certainly not limited to): the swine flu, the “Harry Potter” series, the London Olympic logo, and the Norway massacre.

It's always easier to blame someone else for a problem you are in denial about. And why not the Zionists.

Iran, of course, is in denial about pretty much everything it finds sketchy, including its gay population which doesn't exist according to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

"Dirty Looks" Will Destroy Israel, Says Ahmadinejad

Iran's mad  Mahmud Ahmadinejad doesn't think a war is needed to destroy arch enemy Israel. There's a simpler way of destroying the country he abhors so much.

“The destruction of the Zionist regime does not necessitate making war,” he said in a speech during a tour of northeast Iran.

“If countries of the region cut ties with the Zionists and give them dirty looks, it will spell the end of this puppet regime,” said the hardline Iranian leader.

Yes, those nasty looks and cold shoulder will do it.

Does he realize that's what the rest of the world are doing to his country?

Neturei Karta Leader Meir Hirsch More Muslim Than Jewish

Rabbi Meir Hirsch, the leader of the bizarre anti-Zionist, Orthodox Jewish fringe extremist sect Neturei Karta, was happy as a clam that anti-Semite, anti-Zionist pro-Palestinian activist Sheikh Raed Salah won't be deported from England. I'm sure Salah is elated about it too, considering the UK is a great place for radicals to live for free.  He's got lots of extremist buddies over there, like Anjem Choudhary and Rich Dart, that live very nicely (courtesy of the Brit taxpayer) all the while preaching hate.  That was the reason Salah was banned from entering Britain to begin with, because it was believed he might "incite racial hatred.

But Hirsch and the Neturei Karta have no problem with inciting racial hatred, since they do it themselves.  They claim Israel and the Jews have no right to rule the Holy Land, and in his speech Hirsch actually sounds more like a Muslim extremist than a Jew when he says that he prays to "Allah to remove the Zionist regime from the entire land of Palestine."

He goes on to say:
"We declare: End the Zionist terrorism! End the cruel occupation! We believe that the final and just solutin that will put an end to the cycle of blood, and will achieve peace and stability for Muslism and Jews, is to restore the rule to a single Palestine on the entire land, for all its residents, with Al-Quds as its capital. Prior to the Zionist occupation, Jews and Arabs lived in peace and security under Muslim rule for centuries. We pray toAllah that the triumph of our beloved sheik Raed Sallah will finally bring an end to the cruel Zionist takeover of Palestine, and will restore peace, calm, fraternity, compassion, justice, and integrity among all human beings, so that they will worship Allah together, side by side. Allah Akbar, Allah Akbar.  Inshallah (Allah willing)
I guess he has no problem with paying the jizya (tax for non-Muslims).

Note his use of the words "infidels" "Allah" "Allah Akbar" and "Inshallah" in the video below.  .
