Obama, Ayers, Wright- Cut From The Same Leftist, U.S. Hating Cloth

Want to guess who this disrespectful , bespectacled, middle-aged man trampling on the American flag is?!

Yes, none other than Barack Obama's buddy William 'the terrorist' Ayers. Yes, folks, this is the land of the free where anyone can do pretty much anything without fear of governmental reprisal. Ayers blew up buildings as part of the radical, leftist Weathermen group, and served no jail time for his actions. In an article in Chicago Magazine, published in 2001, Ayers claimed the guiding principles of the Weathermen were to

"Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents—that's where it's really at,"

although he claims that was more fiery rhetoric than truth. Similar to Reverend Wright's claims that all his anti-U.S. rhetoric is taken out of context, Ayers too claims certain quotes of his were taken out of context, like:

"Guilty as hell, free as a bird—America is a great country!"

Yes, yes and yes. Ayers gets that right!

And Ayers has no regrets, whatsoever. Although he claims, in a blog post, that he is often misquoted and misunderstood, this statement speaks for itself:

1. Regrets. I’m often quoted saying that I have “no regrets.” This is not true. For anyone paying attention—and I try to stay wide-awake to the world around me all/ways—life brings misgivings, doubts, uncertainty, loss, regret. I’m sometimes asked if I regret anything I did to oppose the war in Viet Nam, and I say “no, I don’t regret anything I did to try to stop the slaughter of millions of human beings by my own government.” Sometimes I add, “I don’t think I did enough.” This is then elided: he has no regrets for setting bombs and thinks there should be more bombings.

The illegal, murderous, imperial war against Viet Nam was a catastrophe for the Vietnamese, a disaster for Americans, and a world tragedy. Many of us understood this, and many tried to stop the war. Those of us who tried recognize that our efforts were inadequate: the war dragged on for a decade, thousands were slaughtered every week, and we couldn’t stop it. In the end the U.S. military was defeated and the war ended, but we surely didn’t do enough.

I'm not sure what part of "I don't think I did enough" is misinterpretable.

Another blog post entitled "I'M SORRY!!!!! i think..." is a long convoluted diatribe with ne'er an apology.

Bottom line: Ayers thinks he was right. He believes the violence was justified.

He also predicted, in the 2001 Chicago magazine article, that

"... there will be another mass political movement... [snip] because I believe that the kind of injustice that is built into our world will not go quietly into the night."

Participant in the 1968 Democratic Convention riots, his prediction might prove to be true. There is a group that has formed, called recreate68, intent on recreating the chaos. He'll probably be center-stage, or perhaps as part of the establishment now- a tenured Professor, anti-globalist hypocrite who loves Starbucks, he'll watch from the sidelines.

And guess what, he also happens to be a Chavez lover.

Viva Mission Sucre!
Viva Presidente Chavez!
Viva La Revolucion Bolivariana!
Hasta La Victoria Siempre!

His views:

Totalitarianism demands obedience and conformity, hierarchy, command and control. Royalty requires allegiance. Capitalism promotes racism and militarism – turning people into consumers, not citizens. Participatory democracy, by contrast, requires free people coming together voluntarily as equals who are capable of both self-realization and, at the same time, full participation in a shared political and economic life.

Typical elite leftist mentality.

So, now we know why Obama refuses to wear an American Flag Pin, or place his hand on his heart for the Pledge of Allegiance. He's cut from the same leftist, anti-U.S cloth as Ayers and Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Do we want that for our country? I know I don't!

The Weathermen were closer to Narodniks, than anything. Even in 70s, they were apart from the mainstream antiwar movement.

Bill Ayers was a rich boy who had temper tantrums against his parents. When he didn't get his way, he returned to his parents.

Don't we all struggle with the current way our Government is getting more involved with the things that we should be doing for ourselves? Didn't we all struggle with the Clinton's and now the cost of a War that is ongoing? A wise man once said I love my Country but fear my Government. No, I am no where as extreme as to ever thing taking up arms against our government is appropriate but I do struggle with how to say I do not like some of the things ongoing with the Leadership in Washington. Perhaps a taste of Never Re-elect Anyone is needed.

The Utopian equality the Left seems to think should happen (Mao jackets, anyone?) never strikes them as dry and uninspiring...here are the people who are supposed to be progressive and "cool", and they're the ones who think we shouldn't honor self reliance and the thrill of great success...instead, they want to kill all of that (see tax cuts to the rich, etc etc, leftist celeb guilt, etc.). "If we can't be absolutely a PERFECT country, we need to demolish it". Nothing can happen that isn't PERFECT in America...all has to be equal, fair, just and socialist. scum, you should pardon me for saying.
Nice piece, Incognito.
I'd been told about this Ayers' pic but hadn't seen it. The pride on his face tells it all.
Obama and his wife will only love this country when their thugs take over, God help us all.

The up side to this long drawn out process on the Democrat side is that we are learning so much more about Obama than he ever intended us to do. He thought he'd create a tidy little package of his life story and sail into the nomination before anything began to come out. All of his supporters will continue to support him and make excuses but in the general election? Looking more and more like McGovern, without the heroic military service.

great point incog, of that flag he so holds in disgust granting him equality with any man. it is unfortunate the left has trampled, as ayers' does on HIS own flag, on that idea of equality with the notion of their own fairness!!!.... this fight will not go away.

These scummy socialists are the biggest hipoctrites that I know. They rail about how terrible the United States is and yet are getting fat and happy at our expense. I wish that we could rid ourselves of this human bacteria, but that is what living in a truly free nation is about. The ability of morons like Ayers to have the right to be a moron!

REN: Thanks for that insight. I remember all my sisters friends in Colombia, Jewish, commie, rich kids who would go out into the fields and rile up the campesinos and go home to their BMWs and champagne caviar.. the height of hypocrisy.

MUD: I may be foolish but I still have faith in out government. We may be doing some things wrong, but for the most part, we are blessed to live here.

Z: That's the sad thing about that mindset. There is never equality. Maybe for the peons, but the ruling elite in communist countries have everything, while the rest share nothing.

KAREN: Yeah.. it's brilliant.. But how arrogant of him to think he was such a shining light, that no-one would bother to investigate his past, and those he associates with. The Dems have no choice.. they have to support either or, though thankfully some are opting for neither.

PATJ: No... and the fight between the 2 of them, will go go all the way to the convention. I don't think either is willing to give up.

RIGHTY64: I know... i had to laugh when I read that Ayers loves Starbucks. And the scary thing is that he and his wife are both teaching our kids.

Love this post... I think Obama will undoubtedly play the victim when the big bad GOP machine 527's him. I still think there is more to come out about the senator and he thinks he can rise above it all. Michelle Obama is a time bomb and she can go off any minute...leftist elitist politicians you gotta love em...:)N

HUH? Which part of that is "elitist?" The part about "free people coming together voluntarily as equals"? You keep using this word, "elitist." I don't think it means what you think it means.

NIKKI: Thanks m'dear. Yes, he will play the victim and the racist card. Lots of people seem to think she is, and I would have to agree. There are jokes going around how he needs to send her off somewhere until the elections.

ANON: What it means, my friend, is that even under a socialist/communist government you have the masses, who usually have little, and you have the privileged ruling class, who have it all. I've been to Cuba.. only the top echelon of the Communist party were allowed into the Diplo Supermarkets. That "privileged" group ruling the roost are the elite, in my opinion.

Venezuela is far from a participatory democracy, and they are not a 'free' people coming together voluntarily. that whole notion is bogus. Chavez is as privileged and elitist as they come. And you can add corrupt.
