Robert De Niro Willing To Give Trump A Chance

Remember during the contentious presidential campaign when Robert De Niro told us he'd like to punch would-be-president Donald Trump in the face, saying:

“He’s a punk, he’s a dog, he’s a pig, he’s a con, a bullshit artist…he talks about how he’d like to punch people in the face. Well, I’d like to punch him in the face.”

Well, now he's decided to wait and hope.

His message to President-Elect Trump:

“I would only say that we’re all hoping, waiting and hoping, that he will lead the country in a way that’ll benefit everyone and benefit our neighbors around the world...
“We’re waiting and hoping, and we’ll see.”

Good for him, at least he's willing to give Trump a chance, unlike the myriad of angry liberals trying to find any way they can to get Hillary Clinton into the White House.

Grubhub Boss Tells Employees To Quit If They Are Pro-Trump

Grubhub is an online service that allows you to order food from local restaurants that deliver. Matt Maloney is the CEO. On Wednesday November 9th, his employees received a post-election email telling them that if anyone agrees with anything Donald Trump has said during his campaign they should quit.

“If you do not agree with this statement then please reply to this email with your resignation because you have no place here,” wrote Matt Maloney, Co-Founder of Grubhub. “We do not tolerate hateful attitudes on our team."

Wow.  Talk about hateful. As if anyone would have the guts to admit they voted for Trump, considering the vitriol and unbridled anger that Hillary Clinton supporters have unleashed on Trump supporters.

Snippets from his email:

“I absolutely reject the nationalist, anti-immigrant and hateful politics of Donald Trump and will work to shield our community from this movement as best as I can."

and:

“I want to reaffirm to anyone on our team that is scared or feels personally exposed, that I and everyone else here at Grubhub will fight for your dignity and your right to make a better life for yourself and your family here in the United States.”

Apparently, "almost 20 percent" thanked him.

Only 20%? That's telling.

Shame on you Matt Maloney. Politics has no place in the workplace.

Maybe #thedeplorables should consider boycotting #grubhub, like the left has done on numerous occasions. Remember ChikFilA?

Woman Whose Question Was Leaked To Clinton Campaign Pre-Debate- Clinton "should be disqualified"

We all know that CNN's now-fired Donna Brazile gave the Clinton campaign a head start by providing a question that Hillary Clinton was to be asked during the CNN presidential debate.

That particular question was asked by Lee-Anne Walters who was recently interviewed on Fox's Happening Now.

Lee-Anne Walters identified herself as the “woman with a rash” who wanted to ask Clinton about her plan to address the poison water crisis that continues to afflict Flint, Michigan. Hacked emails from WikiLeaks revealed that when Brazile was still with her old network, she somehow got hold of Walters’ question, and then sent campaign chairman John Podesta advanced notice of what was coming.

When asked how she felt about the news, Walters said that Clinton “should be disqualified because she had had an advantage she shouldn’t have had.” Walters also said that she was “disgusted” by Clinton’s answer, describing it as a “cop-out” that would not adequately address the lead in the city’s water.

In spite of everything, she's still undecided about who to vote for. She should be as disgusted by what happened as she is with Clinton's response, as should anyone with a moral compass.

And this wasn't the only topic that Brazile forked over to Clinton's people. Apparently, there was another topic, that we know of.

61-year-old lesbian excoriates Hillary Clinton's gay campaign manager, Bobby Mook, for supporting a woman who has taken millions from Muslim countries that imprison and execute gays.

There aren't many like her, but there are a few. Most of my gay theatre friends are very pro-Hillary. I can't understand why.

Snopes Caught Lying For Hillary Clinton

The first thing we do when we want to fact check some story making the Internet rounds is check various sources like Snopes,  the "definitive Internet reference source for urban legends, folklore, myths, rumors, and misinformation," or so the owners claim.  They claim they are non-partisan and unbiased, but are they?

According to Your News Wire: Snopes lies, in favor of  liberals.

Snopes has been caught lying again, proving that it has a political and partisan agenda and it is willing to mislead and deceive its readers in order to advance the cause of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party establishment.

Earlier this year Correct the Record, a pro-Clinton Super PAC, admitted they are spending millions of dollars to employ an army of trolls to “correct” and “push back” against internet users who criticize Clinton.

Correct The Record’s “Barrier Breakers” project admitted in a press release that it pays people to pretend to be Clinton supporters, and claims that thousands of unsuspecting social media users have already been “addressed” by the PAC’s mercenary social media warriors – with the promise that many more will be “corrected” in the near future.

Given that Snopes entered the political fact checking game around the same time, and began publishing more political articles than ever before – most of which display a clear Clinton bias – it is legitimate to ask if Snopes is also on the Correct The Record payroll.

Ethics Alarms has been tracking the increasing political bias exhibited by Snopes, once the definitive “Urban Legends” web source to identify false stories on the internet, e-mail hoaxes and other pollution of public information.

Caitlyn Jenner - Doesn't Like Hillary, Likes Cruz

I have yet to decide who I am voting for. I dislike all of them, but particularly Hillary Clinton. Apparently, Caitlyn Jenner feels the same way about la Hill, claiming:

"[Hillary] couldn't care less about women. She cares about herself," said Jenner, adding that it would be "unfortunate" if Clinton is the next president.

Caitlyn fka Bruce Jenner still considers herself a conservative, but for some odd reason likes Ted Cruz, who is as far right as you can get on social issues.

Caitlyn is more concerned about the economy, so keeps rooted in her Republican past, in spite of the fact that her tranny friends believe she should no longer be affiliated with the party.

"I think I can keep all of my views the same because I feel in my heart that that's the best way to go," she said, adding that Republicans and conservatives "are not these horrible people who are trying oppress people."

As for her affinity for Cruz:

“I think he’s very conservative and a great constitutionalist and a very articulate man. I haven’t endorsed him or anything like that. But I also think, he’s an evangelical Christian, and probably one of the worst ones when it comes to trans issues," she said.

Go figure.

Who Should I Vote For In The 2016 Presidential Primaries- Quiz

Once again we're faced with choosing who our next leader will be. Like 2012, we don't have a terribly great choice in either party. You've got the two front runners from a very small group of presidential wannabees in the Democratic party- Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. And a slew of Republican contenders topped by the petulant outsider Donald Trump followed by Ben Carson, who was giving Trump a run for his money until he recently slipped way down in the polls. Now it's anybody's guess who might garner enough popularity to compete with Trump for the trip to the White House.

It's always a challenge to figure out who you are most aligned with politically, so I enjoy the quizzes that pop up during election years.  The latest from I Side With has an in depth quiz that covers all the categories from Economy to Foreign Policy to Education and everything in between.

I really like Ben Carson, but he has no chance of winning. And no offense to all the Trump lovers, but I was not in any way a fan- I thought he was a major joke (though I've been warming to him ever so slightly),  so was very surprised to see him at the top of my list on this quiz.

Am still not sure who I will vote for during the primaries.

The Aftermath Of Ben Carson's Muslim For President Comment

Ben Carson's comment last week about not supporting a Muslim president elicited the usual response from liberals and Muslim activists alike. Some have called for Dr. Carson to drop out of the upcoming presidential race including- not surprisingly- the Council On Islamic American Relations (CAIR). According to CAIR he is unfit to lead. But criticism was not only being levied against Dr. Carson from the left, fellow Republican would-be-president Ted Cruz (Tx) called the comment unconstitutional.

After the firestorm, Dr Carson took time to clarify what he exactly meant by saying he would not advocate putting a Muslim in charge of the nation.

"We don't put people at the head of our country whose faith might interfere with them carrying out the duties of the Constitution," the retired neurosurgeon told Fox News' Sean Hannity. "If you're a Christian and you're running for president and you want to make this [country] into a theocracy, I'm not going to support you. I'm not going to advocate you being the president."

"Now, if someone has a Muslim background, and they’re willing to reject those tenets and to accept
the way of life that we have, and clearly will swear to place our Constitution above their religion, then of course they will be considered infidels and heretics, but at least I would then be quite willing to support them," Carson added.

and

"Those Republicans that take issue with my position are amazing," the Facebook statement said. "Under Islamic Law, homosexuals – men and women alike – must be killed. Women must be subservient. And people following other religions must be killed. I know that there are many peaceful Muslims who do not adhere to these beliefs. But until these tenants are fully renounced ... I cannot advocate any Muslim candidate for President."

He's absolutely right. Even some Muslims agree with him. Secular Muslim Asra Q Nomani wrote an enlightening article for The Daily Beast in support of Carson explaining that there are far too many Muslims looking to mix "mosque and state."

Ben Carson’s blunt remarks about a Muslim president triggered much outrage, even after he partially walked them back. But secular Muslims like me, who reject political Islam, understood what he meant: He doesn’t want a Muslim as president who doesn’t believe in the strict secular separation of mosque and state, so that the laws of the state aren’t at all touched by sharia, or Islamic law derived from the Quran and hadith, the sayings and traditions of prophet Muhammad. Neither do we. We really don’t want a first lady—or a president—in a burka, or face veil.

Her commentary is well worth the read.

Unfortunately, there are far too few secular Muslims. In fact, the trend seems to be going in the opposite direction, as evidenced in the following story shared by Nomani regarding a New Jersey school board meeting where Muslims were demanding a last minute school cancellation for the Muslim holy day Eid al-Adha:

At the meeting, the local NBC news segment showed an older woman yelling in Arabic that the holiday was her “right,” followed by a young Muslim woman, wearing a headscarf and smiling eerily as she said, “We’re no longer the minority. That’s clear from tonight. We’re going to be the majority soon.”

The thinly veiled threat was as disturbing to me as it might be to other Americans. Unspoken is the sharia ruling that Muslims engage in no work or school on the day of Eid-ul Adha, but, instead, as the prophet Muhammad is quoted as saying in a hadith, “O people of Islam, these are days of eating and drinking.”

If a Muslim thinks we have troubles, then we most definitely do, and thankfully Ben Carson has the courage to voice that.
