Bill To Ban Child Marriage In Pakistan Shot Down As Anti-Islamic

As proof that Pakistan is living in the dark ages, a proposed bill to ban child marriage in that country was shot down after the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) called it anti-Islamic.

The ruling party politician who introduced the bill, Marvi Menon of the Pakistan Muslim League party, withdrew it after the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) dubbed the bill “blasphemous”.

The CII unanimously rejected the proposed Child Marriage Restraint (Amendment) Bill 2014 on "purely religious grounds", reports The Express Tribune.

CII Chairman Mohammad Khan Sheerani said the bill contradicted Islamic teachings.

The proposed legislation recommended giving out harsher punishments to those entering a marriage with a minor, as well as raising the minimum age of marriage for women to 18-years-old.

Legally girls can marry at 16 and men at 18, but the CII believes that's anti-Islamic. According to Islamic law, 9-year-old girls should be allowed to marry.

Of course Ms Menon withdrew the bill after the CII called it  "blasphemous."  She is well aware of what happens to people who try to civilize a society still attached to backward Islamic ideology- people get killed.

ISIS Plans To Destroy Ancient Walls Of Nineveh In Northern Iraq

The ignorant ISIS animals have their eyes set on destroying the ancient archaeological walls of Nineveh in northern Iraq.  The Assyrians (Christians) have systematically been massacred and displaced over the centuries.

(AINA) -- According to the Assyrian website www.ankawa.com, ISIS is planning to destroy the walls of Nineveh, the capital of the Assyrian Empire and one of the most important archaeological sites in Iraq. Nineveh was sacked in 612 B.C. when the Assyrian Empire was overthrown.
Residents of the Bab Nergal area of Mosul said ISIS has informed them that it will blow up the walls of Nineveh with the start of operations to liberate Mosul by the Iraqi army.

In the last month ISIS has seized the content of the cultural museum in Mosul as well as destroyed Assyrian monuments in the city, which ISIS claims "distort Islam."

Assyrians are the the only indigenous people of Iraq, going back to 4750 B.C. In 2003, just before the U.S. invasion, there were 1.5 million Assyrians living in Iraq. Today there are about 500,000 remaining. A sustained, low grade genocide (report) perpetrated by Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds drove hundreds of thousands of Assyrians into exile in Syria, Jordan, Turkey and Lebanon.

On August 7 of 2014, ISIS moved into the Nineveh Plain, the last stronghold of Assyrians in Iraq, forcing nearly 200,000 Assyrians to flee their homes and villages, where they now live as refugees in the Dohuk and Arbel areas.

Of course this wouldn't be the first time Muslim extremists destroy historical treasures. The Taliban bombed the ancient 6th century Buddha statues in Bamiyan. ISIS destroyed an 1,800 year old church in Mosul. Salafists in Egypt want to destroy the Pyramids and the Sphinx. They've even targeted Muslim sites. Islamists destroyed ancient treasures in Timbuktu, Mali. And Hamas destroyed part of an ancient harbor to make room for a terrorist training camp.  They just don't care. History means nothing to them.

Mauritanian Muslim Sentenced To Death For Apostasy/Blasphemy

You don't hear much about Mauritania, the West African former French colony. It's a piss-poor Islamic Republic led by a military junta,that still allows slavery (though now illegal). Other abuses include:

-discrimination against its black population and women.
-child labor
-female genital mutilation (FGM).
-child marriage
-leblouh, the force feeding of young girls to make them obese- a sign of beauty and wealth.

And they love their sharia. They have sentenced a Muslim 30-year-old man, Mohamed Cheikh Ould Mohamed, to death for apostasy, although it sounds more like blasphemy.

Mohamed has been detained since January 2 and pleaded not guilty to the charge when proceedings opened on Tuesday.

Mauritania has the death penalty but has not executed anyone since 1987, according to human rights organisation Amnesty International.

During the hearing the judge told Mohamed that he was accused of apostasy "for speaking lightly of the Prophet Mohammed" in an article which was published briefly on Mauritanian websites. In it he challenged some of the prophet's actions, the source told AFP.

Mohamed explained that it was "not his intention to harm the prophet", the source added.

His lawyer asked for leniency as he said his client was repentant but the judge agreed to the prosecutor's request for the death penalty.

Although it is said they rarely enforce strict punishments like death or floggings- and one can only hope it's the case with Mohamed- he's still going to rot in jail for the rest of his life for nothing.

Saudi Cleric- Rape, Fornication and Divorce Will Rise If Women Drive

The Saudi mentality, and the typical Muslim attitude towards women:

Islamic researcher Hussein Al-Nu'ami said that women should not be allowed to drive because they are "subject to menstruation and pregnancy" and "internal psychological factors", which "prevent women from coping with pressure." Al-Nu'ami claimed that the rates of rape, fornication, and divorce were higher in societies in which women drove. His argument was countered by Saudi journalist Daham Al-'Anzi, who asked him: "If a woman commits an act of depravity, what's that got to do with driving?" The debate was broadcast on the Saudi Selah TV channel and posted on the Internet on September 26, 2014.

He has no problem with a woman driving in some remote area where she has no contact with anyone, however.

He admits there's a problem with some men harassing women, so rather than address that issue, women should just stay home, because some Muslim men have no control over their libido.

Brit ISIS Jihadi Wants To Be First Woman To Behead Someone From US or UK

Although her Twitter account has since been suspended, 22-year-old British Muslim convert Khadijah Dare (Twitter handle "Muhajira fi Sham" @Ash_Shamiyyah), tweeted a photo of some believe to be her young son holding a rifle, along with her desire to become the first female to behead someone from the US or UK.

 “Muhajirah fi Sham” which means “immigrant in Syria” posted her life's goal after the beheading video of journalist James Foley surfaced.

Although it has not been confirmed, Muhajirah fi Sham is believed to be Dare.

She converted to Islam as a teenager and it’s believed she regularly attended the Lewisham Islamic Centre linked to Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale, the pair who attacked Drummer Lee Rigby with a knife in broad daylight in a London Street.

Her Twitter feed contains a shocking combination of news, quotes and ISIS-style extremism, combined with pictures of nature and tips on raising children.

Earlier this year she wrote: “All da people back in Dar ul kufr [land of disbelievers] what are you waiting for ... hurry up and join da caravan to where the laws of Allah is implemented,” The Telegraph reports.

Before being bumped off Twitter, she switched to private.

Jihadists Chop Down 150-Year-Old Tree In Syria

Atme has been a Free Syrian Army (FSA) stronghold fighting Bashar al-Assad's forces for a while, but jihadists from the Islamic State of Iraq in the Levant (ISIL) have just taken control. This does not sit well with local FSA fighters, like Abu Leila ,who want nothing to do with the jihadists, but seem at a loss to prevent the inevitable takeovers that are happening in rebel held regions of Syria.

According to Leila ISIL:

“have taken over Atme... They have set up checkpoints across the town." [snip] "Atme was oxygen for the (rebel) Free Syrian Army. ”  Atme was being used  “as an entry point for everything from weapons to food, and as an exit point for the wounded” into Turkey’s hospitals, said Abu Leila.

And wherever the jihadists go they bring their supreme ignorance with them.

There was a a 150-year-old oak tree standing next to an ancient shrine in Atme, a Syria/Turkey border town.  Because jihadists don't like shrines, they took over the site and stopped people from worshipping there.  When that happened the locals started praying next to the tree, so the jihadists chopped it down claiming the people were worshipping the tree.

According to a pro-jihadist source:

“Thank God almighty, the tree... aged more than 150 years has been removed, after people were worshipping it instead of God,” said the source on Thursday via his Twitter account named “our call is our jihad”.

He also posted pictures of a man in a black mask using an electric saw to cut down the tree. A black Al-Qaeda-style flag bearing the Islamic profession of faith had been planted on top of the tree.

Such stupidity on so many levels.

Did Pakistani Jihadists Bring Polio To Syria?

Polio is a devastating, highly infectious disease that spreads and cripples children very quickly, and there is no cure. Vaccinating kids is the only way to stop it from spreading. For the most part, the world has been able to eradicate it. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) there are only three countries where polio is still endemic: Nigeria, Afghanistan and Pakistan. I'm not sure about Nigeria, but the reason why it's still a problem in Afghanistan and Pakistan, is because the Taliban- in all their breathtaking ignorance- think immunization is some Western conspiracy to sterilize Muslim children. So they've been systematically attacking and killing polio workers. Back in January, 7 aid workers were killed, including a doctor, and there have been others since. But it's not just the Taliban, two teachers attacked a woman when she came to their house, because they believed the polio vaccine was a plot by the U.S. to cause mental retardation.

Syria had been polio free for 14 years, until now.  And thanks to the Pakistani jihadists who have gone to Syria to fight, polio has come back with a vengeance. 10 under-immunized children, so far, have been paralyzed, and neighbouring countries are running scared. As a result Syria, Lebanon and some other countries in the Middle East are on a mission to vaccinate over 20 million kids. Lebanon has already started its campaign:

“Today was the launching of the polio campaign in Lebanon. Lebanon has been polio-free for almost twelve years and it should stay as it is. Therefore today, together with the ministry of health, we have started the vaccination of more than 750,000 under five children,” UNICEF representative in Lebanon, AnnaMaria Laurini, told Reuters.

Though there is no way to definitively determine if Pakistani fighters are to blame for bringing the virus to North East Syria, the fact that it's only one of three countries where polio is still a problem, and North East Syria is where the rebels have taken hold, it seems more than likely.

Saudi Father Of Bride Kills Groom's Brother For Entering 'Women's Hall'

This is what happens when you mix gender segregation, ignorance, and religious fundamentalism: death.

Saudis are so intent on keeping the genders separated, even at weddings, that they apparently have two separate halls, one for males and one for females. In a tragic case, the brother of the groom made the mistake of trying to make his way into the women's hall (along with some other relatives), so when the father of the bride witnessed this, he didn't just tell them to step away:

“He pulled his gun and shot at them.

“The groom’s brother was killed while the killer’s son was injured in exchange of fire between the two sides,” Sabq daily said without making clear if the incident affected the couple’s marriage.

Creepy Video- Egyptian Kid Asks People If They Know What The Holocaust Was

Here's a creepy little video of a young Egyptian boy on a show titled "Anybody Knows?" taking his question "What is the Holocaust?" to the streets. 

Many of those questioned claim not to know, and most of those who do actually know bring up the fact that there are people who dispute the numbers. Then there's the hijab-clad Holocaust denier with her niqab-clad buddy standing next to her. No surprises there.

Where the creep factor comes in? The chipper musical underscoring, and the cute kid smiling throughout the piece, especially at the end after he explains that "In the Holocaust, lots of people were rounded up and killed."

Unaccompanied Women Banned From Shopping In Northwest Pakistan

More ignorance from tribal northwest Pakistan. Clerics have declared that women must be accompanied by a male relative if they want to shop because it spreads "vulgarity and spoils men's fasting during Ramadan." No-one knows if the ban is permanent or just during the month of Ramadan. Local Karak district police, however, have said they won't enforce the ban.

Boko Haram Promises More School Attacks In Nigeria

Boko Haram murdered a bunch of innocent students and a few teachers at a boarding school in Nigeria at the beginning of July. Now Abubakar Shekau, the leader of the murderous Boko Haram Islamist group, has promised more school massacres because western education is a "plot against Islam".

In a video Shekau said:

"Teachers who teach western education? We will kill them! We will kill them in front of their students, and tell the students to henceforth study the Qur'an."

Shekau denied that his fighters killed children. "Our religion does not permit us to touch small children and women, we don't kill children," he said, reading from sheets of paper as he cradled a Kalashnikov. He also dismissed talk of a ceasefire. Last week the government said it had signed a deal with Shekau's second-in-command.

They don't kill children and women? They didn't kill those children in the dorm?  Right. I guess it was the Holy Ghost.

Angel Gabriel Seen At Pro-Morsi Protests

The "Angel Gabriel" made an appearance at a Pro-Morsi protest, or so claim some men who then told Sheikh Ahmad Abdel Hadi, a Muslim Brotherhood cleric. Oh, and apparently so did Mohammad.

Muslim Brotherhood supporters are ignorant enough to believe it.

Female Polio Worker Attacked In Pakistan, Two Brothers Arrested

Another attack on a polio worker in Pakistan. Although it has usually been members of the Pakistani Taliban who have been responsible for violence against those trying to prevent a polio epidemic, in this case it was two brothers, Ziaullah and Abrar Jutt, who attacked a young woman when she went to their home to vaccinate members of the household.

Police said the polio worker, 23, who was assigned to the anti polio vaccination in Chichawatni, visited the house of Ziaullah Jutt to administer vaccine with a colleague. When Jutt entered the room, he began to hit her. He accused her of being a part of a US plot to give children a vaccine that caused mental retardation.

When she tried to flee, Jutt and his brother Abrar Jutt ran after her. They caught her and dragged her by the hair into the streets shouting that “she was helping non Muslims to harm Muslim children”.

Her colleague informed police and tried to get neighbours to stop the men.

When police arrived, the brothers fled. They were arrested after a three-hour chase.

According to neighbours, the brothers are teachers. It just proves that not all ignorant people are necessarily uneducated.

Salafi Rebels Destroy "Prophet Abraham" Mausoleum In Syria

More Salafi ignorance.

From May 16, 2013: A radical Wahhabi group affiliated with al-Qaeda's Jabhat al-Nusra (Nusra Front) is seen surrounding and then destroying with a bulldozer a historic mausoleum or shrine visited by pilgrims for the prophet Abraham, who supposedly spent some time with his wife Sarah in the town of Ayn al-Arous where the shrine was built. Ayn al-Arous is located south of Tal Abyad in the Raqqa province in northern Syria.

The person filming the scene refers to the shrine as containing heresies and being worshiped besides Allah without specifying who exactly worshiped the edifice.

This practice of destroying tombs and shrines is nothing new for the al-Qaeda Salafis, for they are currently practicing the same type of behavior in Tunisia, Mali, Afghanistan, Somalia, etc.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khameini telling what looks to be a group of hijab-clad women that:

Egyptian Salafi Swears Christians Worship The Male Ding Dong

An interview with the Egyptian Salafi who swears by Allah that the Christian Church worships the male genitalia. The interviewer happens to be a Lebanese Christian.

Oh, and apparently "acting, adultery and prostitution, drugs, dancers, cigarettes, opium, theater and cinema is a Christian-Zionist product." I guess those evil Christian-Zionists have infiltrated Muslim Afghanistan, because it happens to be the top producer of opium in the whole wide world.

What Happens When You Kick The Quran

There are a slew of very amusing 'Girl Kicked the Quran' videos on YouTube, demonstrating just how ignorant some of those people are.  They truly believe that this is what happens to bad Muslim girls (note, they're always female) who forsake Allah.  I guess the dudes get a break.

Allah  turned this one into a python.  The story goes:

A girl was listening to music loudly, her mother happened to be reading the Quran, she asked her to turn the music down so she can carry on reading the Quran. The girl got pisst off and went to kick the Quran, her mother threw herself between her foot and the Quran, she ended up kicking her mother. She then stormed up to her room, where she put her music on and locked the door.

Later that day her mother realised that she had been up there for quite along a time, and the music was still blasting, she decided to call her down to eat. So, the mother went up to call her daughter but there was no answer. The mother got worried, she got her husband to break open the door, and they found the daughter in a state where she could be described as half monkey, half snake, lizard and very ugly like a ghost. She appeared to b a mixture of monkey, lizard and human, she couldn't speak either.

Not sure what Allah turned this one into, but it's the same story, though in this case the daughter was watching TV.  The guy who posted this one claims his friend videotaped it, so it's legit, and that he is sharing it to show what happens to those of us who speak ill of Islam. So beware, oh ye infidels.

Egyptian Salafist Wants To Destroy The Pyramids and Sphinx

Usually Muslim extremists have a penchant for destroying historical sites of other religions, like the Buddhas of Bamiyan in Afghanistan in 2011, but occasionally they go hog-wild and destroy some of their own. Take the Islamists in northern Mali that have systematically destroyed a bunch of mausolea of various Muslim saints in the world heritage site of Timbuktu.

Now some Egyptian Salafist ignoramus (involved with the Taliban destruction of the Buddhas) wants to destroy the pyramids of Giza (one of which is considered one of the Seven Wonders of The World) and the Great Sphinx.

Murgan Salem al-Gohary told Egypt’s privately-owned Dream TV2 channel over the weekend that the Sphinx and pyramids are “idolatrous” and must be destroyed, Egyptian daily al-Masry al-Youm reported.

The newspaper said Gohary is a jihadist leader with links to the Taliban and that he had previously helped smash Buddha statues in Afghanistan ten years ago.

“The idols and statutes that fill Egypt must be destroyed. Muslims are tasked with applying the teachings of Islam and removing these idols, just like we did in Afghanistan when we smashed the Buddha statues,” Gohary said in a Saturday night television interview, according to al-Masry al-Youm.

Who lets these people have access to the airwaves?

Gohary had spent time in prison during Hosni Mubarak's reign, but after his release travelled to Afghanistan, then Syria, where he was sent back to Egypt.

The Egyptian Interior Ministry claims they have:

“taken the necessary precautions to prevent violations of the law or any abuses of anything in the public domain or archaeological treasures including the pyramids."

But the Coalition to Support Tourism (CST) doesn't believe the government has done enough, and are planning on suing President Morsi and the tourism minister for "lack of response" if nothing is done.  After all, the economy in Egypt is a mess and what else do they have other than tourism?

Lebanon Thinking Of Suing Showtime's "Homeland" Producers

Unfortunately, I've never seen the Emmy award-winning "Homeland" since I don't have Showtime, but it looks really interesting. Based on an Israeli TV series "Hatufim" (Prisoners of War), the U.S. version is obviously quite different. Our "Homeland" deals with the return of an American prisoner of war, and the possibility that he was "turned" by Al Qaeda while in captivity.  Shot mostly in Charlotte, NC- subbing for Virginia and Washington DC-  some scenes have been filmed in Israel- subbing for Lebanon. That happens all the time, for various reasons. In the case of Charlotte, all the NC film incentives wooed the production there. As for Lebanon, well that's quite obvious- Israel is a much friendlier and safer country to film in than Lebanon, these days, especially since the co-creator Gideon Raff is Israeli.

But not everyone is thrilled about the 'thriller'. Lebanon is actually threatening to sue the production company because they feel the series shows them in an unflattering light.

A tourism minister told multiple media outlets this week that Lebanon is considering suing the Emmy-award-winning Showtime series because of its unflattering portrayal of Lebanon.

This kind of film damages the image of Lebanon — it is not fair to us and it’s not true, it is not portraying reality,” Fadi Abboud told the Beirut-based Executive magazine. “We want to take action, we want to write to the filmmakers and producers and demand an apology. And we are planning to raise a lawsuit against the director and the producer.”

Abboud pointed to a recent “Homeland” episode that featured snipers on Hamra Street in West Beirut, which according to the Associated Press is a lively neighborhood filled with cafes, book stores and bars.

“It showed Hamra Street with militia roaming in it. This does not reflect reality,” he told the AP. “It was not filmed in Beirut and does not portray the real image of Beirut.”

It's called a  'TV SERIES' folks, not a documentary, and they can portray Lebanon in whatever manner they choose.

They are also pissed off that the Lebanon scenes have been filmed in Tel Aviv.

A Lebanese woman told the AP it’s “insulting” for Tel Aviv to stand in for Beirut, saying, “Israel destroyed our country. Israel invaded and occupied our country.” 

Hezbollah leaders have never heard of the production, but will look into it.

Good luck with that law suit.

Islamists Destroy Ancient Timbuktu Treasures

Nothing is sacred with extremist Muslims, including their own religious heritage. Back in April hardline Ansar Dine took over the northern region of Mali promising to turn the country into an Islamic state. UNESCO was extremely worried at the time about what might happen to Timbuktu and its ancient architectural wonders, so it placed the world heritage site on an endangered list. Those worries, apparently, were totally founded. Little did they know that by doing so, they would prompt the Islamists to destroy what UNESCO was trying to protect.

They started off with the tombs of various Muslim saints, and have threatened to destroy all the other religious shrines in the ancient city.

“They have raped Timbuktu today. It is a crime,” said a source close to a local imam in the town known as the “City of 333 Saints”.

“This is tragic news for us all,” Alissandra Cummins, chair of UNESCO’s executive committee, said in a statement to AFP in Russia, where the body is meeting this week, describing the attacks as “wanton damage”.

“I appeal to all those engaged in the conflict in Timbuktu to exercise their responsibility.”

According to Sanda Ould Boumama, spokesman for Ansar Dine,

“Ansar Dine will today destroy every mausoleum in the city. All of them, without exception.”

Why? Because the supremely ignorant thugs are pissed off that UNESCO put Timbuktu on the endangered list.

“God is unique. All of this is haram (or forbidden in Islam). We are all Muslims. UNESCO is what?” he said, declaring that Ansar Dine -- which wants to impose sharia law in the region -- was acting “in the name of God.”

What? One would think they'd be elated that a Western organization would be interested in saving the 'seat of Islamic learning', but no.

Sadly, they aren't the first to destroy a world heritage treasure in Timbuktu, al-Qaeda had already destroyed the tomb of Sidi Mahmoud in May. Ansar Dine just finished off the mausoleum.

“As I am speaking to you, Islamists from Ansar Dine have destroyed the mausoleum of saint Sidi Mahmoud,” one witness told AFP.

“They are now in the process of destroying the mausoleum (of Sidi Moctar),” added a local journalist. “They have said they will destroy everything.”

Home to three mosques, 16 cemeteries and mausolea and 100,000 manuscripts, a piece of ancient history could be wiped out in no time. Islamists have destroyed other ancient monuments, like the Buddhas of Bamiyan in Afghanistan, but one would think they would want to preserve their own religious treasures.
Countries that might try to intervene have been warned not to get involved.
