"Takin' Back The Country" Hank Williams, Jr's Latest Bat At Obama

Over the years, many singer/songwriters have used their music in political protest, and Country and Western music is no different.

Tea Party darling Hank William's Jr, aka 'Bocephus' has written a new album Old School New Rules
with lots of political goodies, including 'We Don't Apologize for America', 'Keep the Change' and 'Takin' Back the Country'.

Sockin' it to the POTUS, some of the lyrics in "Takin' Back the Country" include:

"Don't tread on me!" and "Hey Barack, pack your bags head to Chicago, take your teleprompter with ya so you'll know where to go!"  "Move over little dog, cos the big dog's movin' in."

Am wondering if the last line is in reference to the Obama/Romney dog wars.

Politico explains the inclusion of this line in the song:

"I'm gonna find a network gonna treat me right, y'all can take the change and stick it outta sight."

In October, he remarked on “Fox & Friends” that Obama hitting the links with House Speaker John Boehner was "like Hitler playing golf with [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu." Soon after, ESPN pulled Williams’s song as its “Monday Night Football” opener.

His 2012 "Taking Back the Country" tour started off in St. Augustine, FL in March and ends in August in Missouri.

And you can get the album on vinyl.  Had no idea that was still possible.
