Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Claims HIV Created By West To Weaken Third World

Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the fruit loop over in Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, are two peas in a pod- they're both delusional. Maybe that's why they're best buds. Chavez is a tad more prolific when it comes to absurdities, but Mahmoud has come out with some equally good ones.  Take his latest claims that the West is behind the HIV virus.

"Today there is this outstanding question that why so many killer viruses, including the HIV virus, have spread all over the world. Many so-called experts say the spread has come as a result of vices and immoralities but we see that in the centre of the places that these viruses have emerged these immoral acts have not been reported." "Then how is it that at the same time in some African countries they find these viruses?

"It is obvious that the African countries must be plundered of their wealth and resources. The major powers and despots are behind the development of these diseases so they could then sell their drugs and medical equipment to the poor countries".

Huh?  What wealth and resources?

I guess he didn't get the memo that the bulk of African countries are piss-poor, and that HIV started in monkeys in Africa and was probably transmitted to humans not through "immoral acts" but rather through consumption of diseased meat.

But a conspiracy theory is far more exotic to Mahmoud and Chavez than the truth. After all, Chavez was busy entertaining the notion that the U.S. gave him, Argentina's Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and several other Latin leaders the big "C".  It turns out, however, that Cristina didn't have cancer after all.

Mahmoud also believes 9/11 was an inside job (though there are plenty of loonies in this country who agree with him:

"Some segments within the American government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining American economy, and its grips on the Middle East, in order to save the Zionist regime," he said.

Ha. That's a good one, since our economy is doing so well, Mahmoud!

Then there's also the fact that he's a holocaust denier, and claims they have no homosexuals in Iran. Of course, that's just wishful thinking on his part.  If Mahmoud wasn't so dangerous, he'd be funny.

Your facts in this article seem suspect to me.

First let me just say this, even dictators get things right sometimes, no matter how evil they are.

You say,

"Huh? What wealth and resources?
I guess he didn't get the memo that the bulk of African countries are piss-poor".

This is not true. Most African people are piss poor but most countries are rich as hell! You ask what resources they have? Are you kidding?

Africa sports a massive rain forest that from its mountains you may dig silver, iron, coal, copper, quicksilver, zinc and tin; from the sands of its tributaries you may wash gold, diamonds and precious stones, not to mention the massive lumber industry there. They have plenty of resources they just go to the few..like tribal warlords, and such.

Also the article you linked to still fails miserably, to actually prove that HIV came from monkey's or chimpanzees at all. Citing only that they have found strains that are very similar and that logically such a leap is possible. They point out the "theory" [and that is all it is] right in the beginning saying,

"it was a product of separate viruses jumping from different monkey species into chimps, where they recombined to form a hybrid virus, according to a new study".
the article also says,
"It is now widely accepted that humans contracted HIV from chimpanzees"
That's nice and all but they don't say the word proven anywhere do they? This is all more theoretical nonsense, that may be proven wrong in a couple of years like most A.I.D.S theories are. You shouldn't state this trash science as fact when they themselves have not said it is.

Is Mahmoud Ahmafuckeadinejad wrong in what he said, absolutely, the guy is an idiot.

You should watch out though when you point out how suspect a dictators claims are, when yours are equally ridiculous.

yes, there are resources in some of the African countries, diamonds in South Africa, petroleum and minerals in some others, but most are still pisspoor. And to claim we created AIDS to plunder their resources is asinine, and even more asinine for you to even entertain the notion. So which is it, you contradict yourself.. you say even dictators get it right, which I assume means you agree with his assessment, or your last statement?

And you can't prove that HIV didn't originate in monkeys. So there. It's the same stupid mindset that believes the government was behind 9/11.

so, Mr. know-it-all. how and where did HIV originate?

Who knows, I also don't claim to know.

My point was you shouldn't be bashing what this clown says about where aids came from when you are citing non evidence as fact.

You said quite clearly,

"that HIV started in monkeys". Which is an unproven claim stated as fact. Of course I can't prove it didn't. Until an experiment gives clear proof either way though it will remain a contested issue. it certainly should not be quoted as fact to dispute somebody else's facts though. That is just silly.

I did not contradict myself, or agree with Fuckhead. I was just pointing out that often if a dictator says something, people immediately dismiss it because it was a dictator who said it.

Now you must explain something to me. How could you possibly make the comparison that because there is no clear, concise, proof that aids came from monkey's and that I pointed that out to you. Then showed you that the article you cited to prove that, didn't. Is related in anyway to the mindset of people who think the government was behind 9/11?

You say,"And to claim we created AIDS to plunder their resources is asinine". It sounds that way, but let me point out something to you that is actually a FACT. The Tuskegee Experiment is FACT! It really happened the government has apologized [good for them] but to say the U.S government has no record of conducting experiments in which they introduce diseases to the black community purposefully, is not asinine, because it has happened before. Just the facts lady, just the facts.

well, yes, you start off saying that even dictators get things right sometimes, no matter how evil they are which makes me assume you agree with his assessment. Then you claim he was wrong. that's contradiction.

and yes, we dismiss what the fool says because he is clearly delusional.

i made the comparison because people are quick to blame everything on conspiracy. yes, our government has done some pretty horrifice things in the past, like the Tuskegee experiment and the LSD experiments, but why would they bother experimenting on Africans in Africa with AIDS when they could do it right here. and since they already did experiment on Blacks. doesn't make any sense.

HAHAHA, people are quick to blame things on conspiracy? Really? Let's look at who really sees conspiracies everywhere.

Heres a few, conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to evade taxes, Conspiracy to defraud, conspiracy to outrage public decency, conspiracy to defraud a charitable organization, Oh my god the list goes on and on.
Isn't it interesting that the federal government constantly slanders people by calling them "Conspiracy theorist" while at the same time having literally thousands of laws governing conspiracies. They seem to see conspiracies everywhere. Yet if somebody points out that their hands are dirty they are just "Wacko conspiracy theorist's"

Isn't strange that if I say JFK was killed by multiple gunman then show you tangible evidence you might call me a "conspiracy theorist" yet if the government says he was shot by one gunman and shows you no evidence, your natural inclination is to believe them and not me. Who has lied to you more, and yet still expects your trust I wonder.

I still believe not everything is a conspiracy.
