300 Chinese Fighting With ISIS

The Islamic State continues to recruit a multi-ethnic group of animals to join their fight in Syria and Iraq. 300 or so Chinese jihadis are allegedly fighting in Iraq and Syria. At least according to Chinese state-run newspaper the Global Times. China has its own Muslim extremist troubles in the Xinjiang region of the country, but obviously not concerned enough to join the coalition of nations fighting the Islamic State of Iraq in Syria in the Middle East.

“According to information from various sources, including security officers from Iraq’s Kurdish region, Syria and Lebanon, around 300 Chinese extremists are fighting with ISIS in Iraq and Syria,” the Global Times reported.

The ETIM has been responsible for the violence in Xinjiang.
