Slovak Hang-Gliders Detained In Iran For Spying

The uber-paranoid Iranians have detained a group of  five or six Slovak hang-gliders accusing them of spying.  The group were part of a hang-gliding club that decided to spend their vacay in Iran, and were allegedly taking photos of sites including military facilities. Who knows if they did or not, or whether it was intentional or not, but it's highly doubtful they are spies, though that won't stop the Iranians from detaining them indefinitely.

According to RFE/RL, back in January another Slovak, 26-year-old Matej Valuch, was accused of spying for the US, but was later released.
